a/n very short oneshot /funny/ from where I left off. I just to update this story. I don't know how I want to play out his summer yet. I haven't been at this story for a years so im getting back into it. I did originally have a draft for this chapter but I think I need to make a new one as it doesn't fit quite right with how I want to this story to go. I don't want to go too fast to miss an plot op. but too slow and this fic will never be done. Hopefully will you get you an update soon.
Harry sat in the kitchen in the burrow. Hedwig managed to deliver his letter to Snape that he'd 'lost' his potions. In reality, his uncle smashed them in a tantrum about having freakish things in his house. Mr. Weasley was the one to pick him up and he hadn't seemed too pleased with his relatives so Harry was thinking that Snape didn't believe his lost letter despite his reply of calling him an 'imbecile'.
"So mom, we have something to tell you" Ron says quietly. Hermione, who showed up a day later than him, looked over at him and then to Ron, seemingly clueless about what it was that 'we' wanted to talk about.
"What's that, dear?" Mrs. Weasley.
"Well, you know…Harry being…you know…well, Hermione and I were going down to the forest to make it easier for him, you know and…" Ron trials off, looking down at the table. Mrs. Weasley was so focused on Ron and what he was saying that she didn't notice Hermione nor my twin looks of horror.
"RON" I nearly yell at him.
"No, Harry," Ron says looking his mum square in the face with fierce determination, "she needs to know. Mum…I wasn't able to transform quick enough. I went after hours. I knew Harry had already transformed but…It was an accident…but I'm a werewolf now" Ron says. Harry glances at Mrs. Weasley who looked faint but was looking at her son before she turned to him. Harry gulped.
"RON!" Hermione slapped him, hard.
"OW, WOMAN!" Ron rubs where Hermione hit him before cracking a smile at him before grinning at his mom.
"RONALD BILLIUS WEASLEY, WHEN I GET MY HANDS ON YOU!" Ron took off running out of the house laughing. Mrs. Weasley charged him until the door before turning around to face them with a stern look, thinking we were in on it. Apparently, our shocked faces convinced her of our innocence.
"I suppose his genes had to kick in eventually. But do tell me, dear, about this transformation that he supposedly wasn't able to accomplish in time." Mrs. Weasley looks to Hermione to explain. Hermione's eyes widen guiltily.
