whelp, i am sure we all saw this coming. but, Return of the templars is... *WHAM* (announcer is punched in the jaw). Screw that shit, the fic is not dead.

hey everyone, Noctus here, now while i said the fic is not dead, that both is and is not true. it is true in that this version is toast. when i started this fic, i had zero idea what i was doing. i had a bare bones concept and no real plot direction to speak of. a lot of ideas, but no way to implement them. i was both too ambitious, and at the same time, not ambitious enough. it also doesnt help that i started the fic when Wings of liberty first came out.

as many of us gamers know, Wings of Liberty changed the face of the Starcraft universe, but i myself had never played it, so i was basing my fic in the Narutoverse and cutting and pasting Starcraft elements into the story... this was a mistake.

i have since played all three parts of Starcraft 2, and now i actually have a plan for how i am going to do this.

i have a character, i have a plot direction, and i have an actual idea of how i want this fic to turn out.

now unfortunately, this means that the fic as it currently is, is well and truly dead. BUT FEAR NOT, because the Rewrite is in the works.

Return of the Templar""s has ended, but "Rise of the Xel'Naga" will soon begin.

so yeah, i will leave this fic up as a reminder of my many mistakes, and for those of you who enjoyed the chapters i did post.

those of you who enjoyed Return of the Templars, rest assured that many elements from that fic will return in Rise of the Xel'Naga. so keep your eyes open.

now the bad news. while i am working on the fic, until it is FINISHED, i will not be posting it. once i finish the fic itself, i will begin posting it, a chapter at a time, once a month. this is due to the fact that one, life must take precedence, and two, i am very easily distracted, so trying to tie myself to an update schedule while i am still writing the fic? is a disaster waiting to happen. look at Rise of the Moon Guardian, more then 2 years without an update, because i got bogged down by real world problems.

keeping myself to a schedule while i am still writing, just isnt working for me. so this is my new method. write the fic until it is finished, and THEN post it.

now i am not sure WHEN this fic will be complete. it could be a while, depending on my muse. but i WILL post it the moment i am done... well after i finish editing the fic that is.

anyways, i thank all of you who first read and reviewed Return of the Templars, and hope to see you all when i post and Update Rise of the Xel'naga.
