I don't Own R.K.

Everything felt right. Her body was warm and she didn't felt happy. Like all things it was too good to be true. Not that Misao didn't like having her best friend alive and within talking distance but something was wrong. Nothing in their life went this right.

That's when she remembered. Kaoru didn't know the truth….

Years ago…

Koshijirō uncovered his wife's eyes to show her his surprise. It was very hard keeping anything from the nosy woman but when he did it had his day to watch her.

Her blue eyes shined as she her face light up. He'd bought matching Kimono's for his two lovely ladies. Though it wasn't anything big it was the thought behind it. She knew he'd pitched green because it was her favorite color.

Today was one of their many good days. Since her giving birth to their daughter Kaoru their lives were in full swing. She would cry and they both had to learn how to be parents. But Ruka new her mother didn't have the luxury of doing this for her children because her father was very demanding of her time. So she would be better. Give her daughter all of her.

Koshijirō had other plans however. Their little angel was now sleeping and that left them time. Moving her hair he kissed the back of her neck and mad his way down her shoulder stopping when he was under ear.

There he bit her ear sending pleasure to run down her spin igniting her core turning her into putty in his hand. Though she'd had other lovers Ruka noticed that having love for the person you're with changed everything.

A few meters away a man stood watching the married couple. He was sent there to kill them and it was starting to make his stomach turn. He hated their love so much it was making him sick. No longer being able to take the sight of them he turned his head.

Taking his sword his signaled his red haired apprentice.

Now…

Misao jumped out of bed then remembered her lover who was staring at her. He knew she would do this and he guess it needed to be done because he didn't come running after her. If she hurried then she could tell her without anyone else hearing.

Kaoru never left Kenshin side. He was still asleep and the fox woman Sano was in love with said it would take time. The catch was that he had to survive the week in order for him to get better.

It was one of the moments when the cure was as worse as the illness. But if it would save his life then she would be there to help him through it. Like he help her and saved her. Guess he meant when she said he would repay his debt.

But she didn't want it to be done this way.

The doors to the room slide open and she looked to see her best friend with a death look on her face.

"Kaoru you must let him die."

The woman in the room didn't love or blind. In all honestly she never thought her best friend would say something like that.

"What are you talking about?"

"He has to die don't ask me to explain"

"Then you are going to just tell me because I am not letting you kill him." Kaoru's blue eyes shined with emotion. What would make her friend so cold hearted.

"Why you don't even know what he's done" Misao really was starting to get upset. Had Kaoru really fallen for the manslayer? Even if she did love him could her love see past what he's done.

"I don't care"

"He is the reason all of this started. If it wasn't for him none of this would have happen."

That statement started Kaour's mind to run, there had to be more to this story and she would find out. All she had to do was push her buttons. "I don't believe that."

"He killed your mother."

Outside the door Sano, Megumi, and Yahiko listened in not waiting to mess any of the details. Once they heard what happened they were all confused. What would happen to them now that Kaoru knew what happened to her mother there was no way things could get wrote.

The trio was just about leave when the temperature dropped. Turning slowly they saw a very pissed Aoshi. Things just got worse.

Thing are only going downhill from here but I promise you will enjoy the ride. Plez R&R
