Just before Zabuza swings his blade, Gato and his mob suddenly show up early, and are instantly taken out by the two jounin. His protege has suffered a severe shoulder injury, and Zabuza initially decided to leave him; only for Naruto's words to change his heart. Still working on improving this fic; I'll release a new chapter once I'm done editing:)
