Disclaimer: I don't own Vampire Diaries in any shape or form. But I do own my OC.

A/N: So, this is definitely Bad Moon Rising, with a few changes. Just as I promised. I know it's taken me like ages to update and I'm really sorry about that. There's no fixed date as to when I'm gonna update. As soon as I finish a chapter, I'll post one, but no promises when that'll happen. My next semester of university starts tomorrow, so my updates will be much slower (not that they've been quick recently), but fair warning. This was just like a chapter to mark the occasion and because it's been over a month since I updated. We have some Aliyah calling out Elena on her bullshit, Baroline bonding (because there's been a lack of it) and more Tonnie goodness.

So, enjoy!

Reviews: I put the replies to all the reviews I got after the last update at the end of the chapter right before my last A/N, so it wouldn't take up too much space and people could get to the chapter. So, go right to the end if you want to see my reply to your review!

Warnings: Language, Dark Themes etc.

Chapter 14

Bad Moon Rising: Part I

When Aliyah swung open the door the next morning, she bit back a scream of annoyance when she saw Elena and Stefan standing on the other side.

"Sodding hell." Aliyah muttered, grasping onto the frame of the doorway so hard that she was beginning to see little cracks in the wood.

"I want to see Caroline." Elena demanded, her hands falling to her hips. "You've been keeping her from us for the past two days and we want to see her."

Aliyah ground her teeth, resisting the urge to simply reach out and slit Elena's throat with her nails. She growled low under her breath and advanced on the young girl, very much aware of the sheer nightgown she was wearing and aware of Stefan's appraising stare, despite how hard he tried to hide it under a blank face. She rolled her eyes.

Men. They're always the same. No matter the century.

"Listen, Bambi," Aliyah snarled, baring her fangs at a suddenly frightened Elena, her eyes bleeding a bloodthirsty crimson. "I don't know if you're smart enough to tell time yet, but it's seven in the bloody morning." She hissed out through clenched teeth. "Again, I don't know if you know what that means, but some of us were trying to have a bit of a lie-in, which was completely ruined by your shrill, disagreeable voice this early in the sodding morning."

Aliyah sighed. "Tell you what, though, I'll let you hear it from the madam herself." She flashed upstairs and into Caroline's room, making her way to the pile of blankets and pillows, and shook Caroline awake. "Hey, pretty girl," She said, soothingly. "I need you to wake up for a minute."

"What?" Caroline said, groggily, peeking her blonde, mussed hair out of the pillow, flashing sleepy blue eyes at her. "What is it? Aliyah, I'm tired." She whined.

"Hey, don't get cross with me." Aliyah said, sternly. "Your doppelganger friend's at the door and she and her boyfriend would like to see you, to make sure I haven't killed you or turned you against them, or anything." She rolled her eyes.

Caroline yawned, rubbing her eyes. "Elena's here?" Aliyah nodded. "Why?"

"She thinks I've done something to you." Aliyah said, dryly.

Caroline's brow furrowed in annoyance. "That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. If you were going to hurt me, you'd have just let Damon kill me the night before." She pointed out.

"Well, she wants her boyfriend to teach you the bunny diet." Aliyah shrugged.

"The… bunny… diet…? What the hell." Caroline muttered, her eyes widening in confusion, her sleepiness making it hard for her to comprehend the statement. She groaned and flopped back on the pillow, snuggling back into the blankets. "Tell her to go away and that I'll call her later. It's too damn early to be having deep and meaningfuls."

Aliyah patted her, comfortingly, on her blanket-covered arm, making sure that the covers were tucked around her, and flashed back down the stairs to a stunned Elena and a grim Stefan.

"She told me and I quote 'tell here to go away and that I'll call her later'." Aliyah snapped. "So, go away."

Elena threw her hands up in the air, despite the fear that made her hands shake. "Well, what am I supposed to do? You're already turning another one of my best friends against me." She snapped.

Aliyah rolled her eyes. "It amazes me that you still have the nerve to call them your best friends after you have been the cause of everything bad that had happened to them." She raised an eyebrow. "Of course, there are some things you can't be blamed for, but I'm sure you'll screw up sooner or later." She shrugged.

Elena scowled at her. "Don't try to deny that you're just using Caroline transitioning into a vampire as an excuse to brainwash her against me." She hissed.

Aliyah laughed. "Oh, darling, paranoia is really not a good look on your face." She said, mockingly.

"Then, let Stefan teach her how to hunt animals." Elena challenged, crossing her arms over her chest.

Aliyah snorted and observed Stefan. "Yes, because I'm going to let the Ripper-turned-humanitarian teach Caroline what it means to be a vampire." She said, sarcastically.

"She can't drink human blood." Elena protested.

Aliyah raised an eyebrow. "Oh, she can." She mocked. "She has. And she will."

Elena's eyes widened and her jaw dropped. "You've already started to turn her into a monster!" She said, incredulously.

Aliyah smirked. "Now, that doesn't exactly sound like something a best friend should say." She purred. "Look, Bambi, have you ever seen me kill a human for blood before?" Elena, thankfully, had the sense to shake her head. "Exactly. I'm not like your blue-eyed Norman Bates. I know what the meaning of discretion and I have every intention of teaching that to Caroline. She'll be stronger for it and she won't go mental at the sight of human blood like your boyfriend does." She said, slowly, nodding at Stefan, who had the decency to flush.

"That doesn't matter, don't pretend like you're not the reason behind Caroline ignoring me." Elena snapped.

Aliyah raised an eyebrow. "Did it ever occur to you that maybe she knows that you purposely hid everything Damon did to her? That you continued to act like everything was normal with him and Damon, when you knew what a sick bastard your boyfriend's brother was?"

"I… I…" Elena stammered, her eyes widening, comically.

"Tell me something, Elena, how long have you known him – and Damon – for?" Aliyah asked, curiously. "Your school year started in September and you met Stefan. Right?" She looked at Stefan and he gave a jerky nod. "A week later, Caroline and Damon started dating, correct?" Elena gave a jerky nod. "September 24th, you manage to poison Damon with vervain through Caroline - nice job, by the way, using your clueless best friend – who was already being used as a personal blood bag – as bait." She shook her head in disbelief.

Elena shook her head in disbelief. "How do you know all of this?" She hissed.

Aliyah smirked. "Really? Bonnie tells me everything." She said, mockingly. "So, the Comet arrives in Mystical Falls on November 28th and that's the night that Sheila Bennett dies. So, tell me if I'm wrong, you and Stefan started dating early November, so as of Caroline's interlude with Damon, you weren't even dating Stefan?"

"That's not… I just…" Elena stuttered, her eyes shifting wildly, looking at Stefan for help, but to no avail. There was nothing either of them could say to defend themselves to that particular accusation.

"So, you sold out your best friend for someone who wasn't even your boyfriend and the bloke who's been raping your best friend?" She snapped.

"We were trying to get Damon away from Caroline! We needed to poison him with vervain." Elena protested.

"Bambi, the bloke's a lush." She said, slowly. "You couldn't have poisoned his scotch or bourbon or whatever? Blimey, he probably fancied you back then itself. Why weren't you the one who got to be bait? Why Caroline?" She asked, viciously.

"I didn't-"

"Aliyah-" Stefan began, calmly, his eyes nervous.

"Exactly, you didn't." Aliyah said, coldly. "And now you have the bloody gall to tell me that I'm turning Caroline against you when you have done nothing but cause pain to that girl." She snapped. "Let's leave Caroline alone for a second. Let's talk about Bonnie. Sheila Bennett died on November 28th. You convinced your best friend of 18 years and her grandmother who were completely against your idea to open the tomb for your boyfriend of exactly one month."

"We were trying to get Damon trapped in there, and Bonnie was the one who convinced her Grams to unseal the tomb!" Elena protested.

"Yeah, because you were stupid enough to get yourself trapped in there with homicidal, hungry vampires that had been desiccating for 150 years!" Aliyah snarled, her eyes flashing.

"What was I supposed to do? Fight Damon off?!"

"Not get yourself involved in vampire business!" Aliyah snapped. "You should have let him handle his brother and not gone anywhere near Bonnie or Sheila for this. Bonnie and Sheila went against every single instinct they had to help you and Sheila died for it. All I have ever heard from you since I arrived in Mystic Falls is how you seem to think that you're entitled to Bonnie's assistance. She is not your witch. She is a witch. She is a Bennett witch. I wouldn't expect someone like you to understand," She said, disdainfully, narrowing her eyes at Elena. "But do you have any idea how important Bennett witches are in the grand scheme of things? My family can trace its origin back to two thousand years ago, where our ancestor was one of the most powerful, immortal witches to ever exist." She snarled. "And Sheila Bennett died unsealing some ruddy tomb in some one-pony town. All because you couldn't stop yourself from interfering in vampire business."

"I was just trying to help!"

"Do you know what happens to humans in the vampire world, Elena?" Aliyah took a threatening step towards Elena, her blood jumping underneath her skin. "They die." She smiled. "Take my advice, Bambi, and stay away from them. Do all of those stupid, human, pointless things that girls your age do and stay out of matters that are too big for you. Otherwise, you will die. That wasn't a threat, Elena. That was the truth." She said, sincerely. She looked at Stefan, whose face was paler than she had ever seen it before. "What happens to this girl after a few months, a few years? It's obvious she doesn't want to be a vampire, but the way she's going she'll get herself killed even before that happens. Do yourself a favour, Stefan, and keep your distance. Both of you will get hurt."

She moved to close the door but stopped. "I want you both – and Damon – to leave Caroline alone. I am her sire; she is my responsibility. If anyone is equipped to making her deal with her sudden vampirism, it is me. Stay away from her. Bonnie is able to make her own decisions, but don't ever think that her job is to lay her magic at your feet." She said, coldly, and slammed the door in their face.

She smiled to herself and spun on her feet, starting when she saw Bonnie leaning against the railing on the second-floor, peering down at her with tired eyes, her dark hair mussed and clad in a tank top and sleep shorts.

"Have fun?" Bonnie asked, sarcastically, shaking her head.

It was as if Aliyah couldn't go one day without tearing into Elena.

"Well," Aliyah began, cheerfully. "If it isn't my strumpet of a niece." Bonnie narrowed her eyes at her and she was sure that if magic worked on her, she would currently be experience one hell of an aneurism. "You know how I said that I didn't like Elena because she reminded me too much of Tatia and Katerina," Bonnie nodded, warily. "I take that back. I don't like her because she is a annoying little cow." She smirked.

Bonnie rolled her eyes, as if she had heard the same complaint a million times over. It was just tiresome defending Elena to Aliyah when it was certain that the Original vampire's opinion wasn't going to change anytime soon.

"You know," Aliyah bit her lip. "I didn't hear you come in last night." She waggled her eyebrows. "Well, actually I did, but I'm more interested in hearing your version of events." She smirked, wickedly, enjoying Bonnie's embarrassment.

Bonnie groaned and slumped away from the railing. Just as she was about to turn around and stumble back to her room for a great deal more sleep, she jumped when she saw Aliyah standing right in front of her with a beaming, wicked smile curled on her red lips.

"Don't start with me." She said, warningly.

"Did you shag him?" Aliyah raised an eyebrow.

"What? No!" Bonnie exclaimed. "Who do you think I am? And aren't you supposed to be my guardian and tell me things like 'don't have sex, you'll get pregnant and die'."

Aliyah raised an eyebrow. "That's from Mean Girls, isn't it?" She smirked, knowingly.

Bonnie shook her head in disbelief. "Of course you've seen Mean Girls." She muttered.

"And why would I tell you things like that? Sex is a beautiful thing, darling." Aliyah wagged her finger. "Speaking from a girl who used to live in the bloody Viking age, sex is nothing to be ashamed of." She said, defiantly. "Just… you know… be safe and use a condom." She said, awkwardly. "And you're eighteen now, so you can go get birth control from your doctor by yourself. Otherwise you will get pregnant, and while pregnancy is a natural and beautiful thing, and I think you and Tyler will make beautiful babies together," Aliyah ignored Bonnie's sharp glare. "I still think you're a tad young to be a mum, darling." She said, sighing mournfully.

Bonnie shook her head, colouring in embarrassment at the thought.

"But," Aliyah drawled. "If you're determined to be a wet blanket, did you at least get a good snog in?"

Bonnie flushed and rubbed the back of her neck. "A little." She said, sheepishly.

"That's my Bonnie girl." Aliyah crowed, swooping down and pecking her on the cheek. "So, what happened?"

"We… well, we got together." Bonnie said, the blush rising in her cheeks. "He told me that he loves me and I told him that I love him. And… now we're together."

"That's brilliant, Bonnie." Aliyah said, sincerely, placing a warm hand on Bonnie's shoulder. "I'm so happy for you."

Bonnie cracked a smile. "Thanks, Lee-Lee." She threw her arms around Aliyah's waist and squeezed. "Thanks for convincing me to tell him." She whispered.

Aliyah smiled. "My pleasure, darling." She pulled away. "Now, go back to bed. It's too bloody early to be up. I'd like a couple more hours of sleep myself."

"Bloody doppelgangers." Aliyah muttered, her feet padding against the timber flooring as she made her way back to her bedroom.

"So, wait," Caroline tore into the blood bag and took a huge gulp. "What would I do when I saw the rabbit?"

"Chase it," Aliyah shrugged. "Catch it, kill it."

Caroline looked at her, uneasily. "Isn't killing cute defenceless animals the first step in becoming a serial killer?" She said, pointedly.

Aliyah snickered. "Well, technically, you sort of skipped past the serial killer and went straight to vampire." She jumped to her feet and slid over to Caroline, wrapping an arm around the girl's shoulders. "You okay, pretty girl?" She asked, worriedly.

"It's just…" Caroline closed her eyes. "I haven't been in the sun for days and everyone will be at the swimming hole today having fun and Matt is there!" She exclaimed. "And he finally told me that he loved me, but I've been blowing him off and now you're telling me that my best friend – who didn't even have the guts to tell me that she's screwing a vampire, by the way – wants me to eat bunnies and I'm kind of freaking out okay!" She rushed out.

Aliyah started to laugh, wrapping an arm around her stomach.

Caroline sighed. "And now you're laughing at me." She said, offended.

Aliyah pursed her lips, intending to keep the giggles inside. "No, no, I'm not laughing. None of this is funny, darling, trust me. It's just that…" She trailed off, holding back a beaming smile.

Caroline frowned. "What?!"

Aliyah sighed. "When someone is turned into a vampire, certain quirks to their personality become amplified after the change." She explained.

Caroline raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean?"

Aliyah bit her lip. "When I was a human, as a witch, I was very intuitive," She said, slowly. "When I became a vampire, my intuition was amplified. Niklaus liked to say that I have… flawless instincts. As a human, I was very… brazen," She said, uncomfortably. "And that was definitely intensified after I became a vampire."

"Yeah, we know that." Caroline said, smirking, remembering the conversation they had last night in the alley about bloodsharing and vampire sex.

Aliyah shrugged, not feeling the slightest bit of shame.

"Rebekah was very stubborn as a human being, and now she can be a bit of cow in her obstinacy." Aliyah shook her head. "Kol... he was very mischievous as a child. As a vampire, that translated, unfortunately, into sadism. He's… quite the killer nowadays." She said, mournfully. "Finn was very empathetic as a human. He cared for every single creature, but that worked against him after he was turned into a vampire. That empathy turned into self-hatred. He couldn't stand the sight of himself after awhile. Elijah, as a human, was inherently honourable. Now, he clings onto his honour as if it is last saving grace from delving into the monster inside of him. Niklaus… as a human, he always wanted to be loved wholeheartedly. The amplification of that is his only drive to break his curse and create hybrids of his own." She said, quietly.

"So," Caroline drawled. "You're saying that now I'm basically an insecure, neurotic control freak... on crack?" She said, incredulously.

Aliyah smirked. "Well, I wouldn't have said it like that, but…" She trailed off.

"I want to go to the swimming hole, Lee-Lee." Caroline said, quietly.

"I can take her." Bonnie said, walking into the kitchen. "I'm heading down there myself."

Caroline cracked a wide smile and waggled her eyebrows at Bonnie. "Hot date?" She smirked.

Bonnie glared at her. "Shut up." She muttered. She looked at Aliyah. "I can keep an eye on her. Tyler's going to pick me up in a little while."

Aliyah nodded. "Okay, then, going to the swimming hole may be good for you, Caroline."

"Why?" Caroline frowned.

"Well, Matt is the closest connection that you have to your humanity and I believe that being around him would be good for you." Aliyah explained.

"Okay." Caroline nodded.

"Call me if something happens. Either of you." She looked at Caroline. "You feel uneasy, you call me and I'll come and get you." She said, reassuringly.

Bonnie and Caroline nodded.

"Wait, so, what are you gonna do?" Caroline asked, curiously.

"I am going on a field trip to Duke University with Alaric, Damon and Elena." Aliyah said, lightly, smirking at Bonnie and Caroline's grimace when she said Damon's name. "They're looking for information on what the Lockwoods are."

Bonnie started. "Lee-Lee-" She said, fearfully, swallowing past the lump in her throat. She still hadn't been able to pluck up the courage to tell Tyler that she was a witch and that he was only one step away from becoming a werewolf.

"Don't worry, Bonnie girl," Aliyah said, reassuringly. "I'm gonna lead them on a wild goose chase for awhile. I won't let them hurt Tyler or Mason." She leaned down and pecked both girls on the cheek.

"Now, be good and don't do anything I wouldn't do."

With that, Aliyah winked and flashed right out of the house.

When Aliyah reached the Salvatore Boarding House, she arrived just in time to see Alaric getting out of his car in front of the house. She met him at the stairs leading up to the front door, a smile on her face.

"'Lo, Ric." Aliyah said, cheerfully. "How are you?"

"Good." Alaric grinned. He gestured to the house. "You know what this is about?" He asked, curiously.

"I have an idea, but I think I'll let them talk before I come to any conclusions." Aliyah shrugged, storming up the steps.

"As good an idea as any." Alaric muttered and followed her up the stairs.

"Thanks for coming, Ric, Aliyah." Stefan said, once they walked through the doors and met the Salvatore brothers and Elena in the lounge.

"Can I get you two something to drink?" Damon smirked. "Coffee, bourbon? Bourbon in your coffee?"

Alaric and Aliyah rolled her eyes.

"Elena mentioned you needed my help." Alaric said to Stefan.

"And Stefan, you texted me – after giving some well-needed space after the hell of a morning the three of us had – asking me for my help?" Aliyah beamed. "Which I don't really appreciate. You know, I agreed to help you three with the tomb vampires. That's all. And they're all dead. So, I don't really care what the hell the three of you get yourself into." She said, coldly, crossing her arms over her chest.

"Oh, yeah?" Damon raised an eyebrow. "I thought you'd be all gung-ho to protect your little witch from the Lockwoods. I mean, doesn't that punk Tyler have a thing for Witchy?" He smirked. "But you already know what the Lockwoods are, don't you?" He said, knowingly, remembering their conversation during the carnival.

"I do." Aliyah smiled. "And yes, I have no intention of telling you what they are. Have the three of you ever heard of a saying: don't poke a bear. Maybe that's the reason why the three of you constantly get screwed over. Because you have this… incessant… urge to get involved in matters that don't concern you." She said, lightly. She advanced on them, folding her hands behind her back and gracing them with a deadly smile that bared her bright white teeth. "If anything… anything… happens to either Mason or Tyler Lockwood because of you three, you will die a painful and bloody death. Very simple." She said, slowly, as if she were speaking to a small child.

"Wait," Alaric's brow furrowed. "Why would I know anything about the Lockwoods?" He asked, confused.

Damon rolled his eyes. "Well, you wouldn't. But your dead-not-dead vampire wife might." He said, pointedly.

"Isobel's research from when you guys were at Duke together." Elena clarified.

Aliyah grimaced. "Your mother is really making me cross." She said, darkly.

"What are you going to do?" Elena asked, defiantly.

Aliyah smiled, sweetly. "You think that just because your cheek endears you to these pillocks, you think it'll endear you to me. But, newsflash, Bambi, I don't like you." She growled. "Your mother is already involved in matters that really don't concern her. She'll get herself killed for what she knows." She shrugged. "It doesn't really matter to me." She looked at Alaric. "No offence." She said, apologetically.

Alaric shrugged. "No problem." He said, knowing that there wasn't exactly anything he could do about it.

Stefan shook his head and looked at Alaric. "You said that she had spent years researching this town." He said, pointedly.

Alaric nodded. "Isobel's research here in Mystic Falls rooted in folklores and legends, but at the time I thought much of which was fiction."

"Like that amazing vampire story." Damon said, sarcastically.

"Aside from vampires, what else?" Elena asked, curiously.

"The lycanthrope." Alaric replied.

Elena's eyes widened. "Wait, like werewolves?"

Damon shook his head. "No way, impossible, way too Lon Chaney." He scoffed.

"Is it?" Stefan raised an eyebrow.

He looked at Aliyah, who shrugged, smiling indulgently.

Damon smirked. "I've been on this planet one hundred and sixty some odd years, never came across one. If werewolves exist, where the hell are they?"

Alaric frowned. "Why do you suspect the Lockwoods?"

"Because vervain didn't affect the Mayor at Founder's Day, but for some reason, the Gilbert Device seemed to work on both him and Tyler." Aliyah said, darkly.

"And at the school carnival his uncle Mason exhibited inhuman behaviour when he fought with one of the carnival's worker." Stefan finished.

"Mason has a greater amount of strength than a typical human male. He was able to beat Stefan in arm-wrestling, even when Stefan was using all of his vampire strength." Aliyah muttered to Alaric.

Stefan nodded. "It suggests they're some sort of a supernatural entity."

"We were hoping that Isobel's research could help us figure it out what they are." Elena said.

"Well, all her things are still at Duke. I mean, her office is still there, she's technically still missing." Alaric corrected.

Damon frowned. "So, can we get access to it?" He asked, sharply. "Ric, we need to know what we are dealing with. If this wolf-men thing is true, I've seen enough movies to know it's not good. It means Mason Lockwood is a real life Lon Chaney and that little Tyler punk may just very well be Lon Chaney Junior which means Bella Lugosi, meaning me, is totally screwed."

"Wouldn't that a be a sight?" Aliyah sighed. "I may just have to point Mason in your direction." She muttered.

"So, wait, why are you going?" Jenna asked Aliyah, confused, looking at her abstract green, sleeveless top, denim skirt and black, high-heeled boots.

"Well, I've got some mates down at Duke and Alaric offered to take me up there." Aliyah shrugged. She gestured to Alaric and leaned in. "So, what happened between you two?"

"Oh, you know, men and their baggage." Jenna shrugged. Aliyah raised an eyebrow. "I don't know," Jenna sighed. "He said that maybe in the future we could try again, but-"

"It feels like it may just go nowhere?" Aliyah said, knowingly. "Yeah, I know the feeling. But don't stress, Jenna. Hey, how about we go out after I get back? A long overdue girl's night." She waggled her eyebrows. "You with a dead-end relationship and me with my approaching reunion with my husband, whom I really don't want to see."

Jenna laughed. "That'd be great, Aliyah." She leaned in and hugged her. "Have a great day."

Damon started to honk the car. Aliyah growled and rounded on him.

"Shut up! I heard you the first sodding time." She snarled.

Jenna snickered. "You really don't like him, do you?" She smirked.

"He's a right prick, that's what he is." Aliyah muttered. She raised an eyebrow. "Oh, come on, don't tell me you like the bloody pillock?"

"I don't." Jenna said, reassuringly. "Don't worry, I still think he's a jerk." She turned around to face the Gilbert house. "Elena?! Are you coming?" She called out.

Stefan and Elena came outside, joining Jenna and Aliyah. Elena shot Aliyah a suspicious look before proceeding into the car. Aliyah grabbed Stefan by the arm and pulled him aside.

"Alaric told me that you aren't coming." Aliyah said, slowly.

Stefan shrugged. "I thought I'd keep an eye on things here." He explained.

"Look, while I have made my… distaste… for the three of you quite obvious-"

"Really?" Stefan said, sarcastically. "And here I thought you loved us."

"You know, I really don't appreciate the sarcasm." Aliyah snapped.

Stefan recovered and held his hands out in a surrender position. "What's wrong?" He asked, worriedly.

"Caroline's okay. Bonnie made her a daylight ring and she's been feeding off blood bags for the last two days. She's pretty much in control of her hunger. But, Tyler Lockwood's having this party down at the waterhole and Caroline and Bonnie are going. Bonnie will keep an eye on Caroline, but I'd much rather have a vampire there-"

"Just in case something goes wrong." Stefan said, knowingly. He placed a comforting hand on Aliyah's arm. "Don't worry, I'll keep an eye on Caroline." He said, reassuringly.

He didn't know exactly what to think of the vampire in front of him. There were times where she scared the hell out of him, and he knew, under all of that bluster and cocky attitude, that she terrified Damon just as much. It was quite obvious that she didn't think much of them, but at times like this, he got the feeling that she was probably much more angrier at Elena and Damon than she was at him. But then, there were times that she seemed to be genuinely helping them. She had helped them; he couldn't exactly forget that. When the tomb vampires had captured him, it had been Aliyah who had helped Damon take them out and rescue him. When the Gilbert device had gone off – and he did understand why Bonnie had done what she had – it had been Aliyah, not Elena, as he would have thought, that managed to convince Bonnie to help him save Damon. He did mourn Sheila Bennett. He respected her for her morals and her strength and he truly did feel regret at the way she had passed. And he understood why Bonnie was angry. He really did. He just wished that Bonnie's and Elena's friendship hadn't been ruined because of his and his brother's presence in Mystic Falls.

Damon smirked from inside the car. "Sorry you can't come too, Stef." He said, mockingly.

Stefan rolled his eyes and turned to Elena. "Call me if you need anything." He said, firmly.

Damon grinned, lasciviously. "Oh, I'll take really good care of her." He waggled his eyebrows.

Elena grimaced and caught Stefan by the neck, tugging him down to her level and planting a long and meaningful kiss on his lips, right there in front of Damon. Aliyah smiled, watching the way Damon's face contorted with anger and jealousy, and she shook her head, wondering if there was a time when Petrova doppelgangers wouldn't have this incessant need to cock up relationships between brothers.

Damon growled under his breath. "Okay, time to go." He said, firmly.

He, Elena, Aliyah and Alaric slid into the car, Alaric and Damon sitting in the front, while Aliyah and Elena sat in the backseat.

"You ready?" Bonnie called out, twirling her curls in her fingers to make them extra springy.

Caroline snorted. "I'm not the one who's checked their hair and makeup for the third freaking time since we got downstairs." She grabbed her handbag, pursing her lips and making sure the lip-gloss covered every inch. "I'm done." She declared.

"Tyler just texted me. He's driving up right now." Bonnie threw open the front door and waited for the telltale signs of Tyler's vintage Buick coming up the driveway

"So, you and Tyler, huh?" Caroline waggled her eyebrows, leaning against the doorway.

Bonnie groaned. "I knew it." She muttered. She turned around and sighed. "Okay, so, out with it."

"Out with what?" Caroline wondered.

"Tell me that you think this is the stupidest thing you've ever heard of. Tell me that Tyler's just using me. Tell me that Tyler doesn't exactly have the best track record when it comes to treating girls well and he's probably just screwing with me or I'm just another notch in his bedpost. Tell me that I'm out of my mind to think that Tyler Lockwood's good boyfriend material. Tell me that I'm setting myself up to get hurt. I'm sure you've got a list of reasons why this is such a bad idea." Bonnie said, wearily.

Caroline reared back in shock. "Do you really think that about me?" She asked, hurt by Bonnie's impression of her. "Bonnie, I wasn't going to say any of that." She said, honestly.

Bonnie raised an eyebrow. "Really?" She asked, suspiciously. "Because you're not exactly Ty's biggest fan, Care." She said, pointedly.

"You're right." Caroline shrugged. "I don't like the little jerk. He was always mean to Elena and me when we were young. But, Bonnie, I would have to blind if I didn't see how head over heels Tyler is for you." She shook her head. "Even when we were kids, you were all Tyler saw. No one came between you and him, he wouldn't let anyone get close enough. Don't you remember when we met Matt for the first time on the first day of kindergarten?Tyler was ecstatic that there was finally another boy he could play with, but he made sure to warn him off you because you were his. The jackass never let you out of his sight." Caroline rolled her eyes. She softened. "But if I know something in this crazy, screwed up world that I've found myself in," She chuckled, wryly. "It's that Tyler Lockwood is head over heels in love with you." She said, slowly.

Bonnie felt tears come to her eyes and she threw her arms around Caroline in a fit of emotion, quelling down the nausea in her stomach. "Thanks, Care." She said, hoarsely.

"Anytime, Bonnie." Caroline whispered, patting her on the back. "You're my best friend… and if you really love him, then I can grow to tolerate him." She shrugged.

Bonnie giggled, pulling back and wiping the tears from her eyes.

"Any reason why you're making my girlfriend cry, Forbes?" A strangely amused voice called out from outside the house.

Caroline smirked and her hands fell to her hips. "You've been wanting to say that for years, haven't you?" She said, knowingly.

Tyler smirked and stepped inside, wrapping an arm around Bonnie's waist. He dipped her and muffled her squeal with his lips, which he slanted over hers. His hands made their way into her hair, weaving into the strands, and Bonnie moaned against his mouth, the taste of her mouth sending tingles down his spine.

"Okay, okay," Caroline rolled her eyes. "Break it up, lovebirds. I'd, at least, like to get to the swimming hole, before you two start screwing on the damn floor." She grimaced.

Bonnie blushed as Tyler tugged her back up, hiding her hot face in Tyler's bicep. Caroline smirked, triumphantly, waggling her eyebrows at her best friend, knowingly. Bonnie glared at Caroline and smiled, sheepishly, at Tyler, who looked damn proud of the reaction he was able to pull from her.

"You two ready to go?" Tyler raised an eyebrow.

Caroline looked down at herself, observing the halter-neck, red, ruffled bikini top she wore, with white shorts and pale, shimmery slip that she had donned, smoothing her hands down her exposed thighs. Tyler turned around to look at Bonnie, biting his lip as his eyes roved down the bright yellow bikini set she wore with high-waisted bottoms. His eyes darkened and Bonnie's blush grew, reading the hunger in his gaze, and felt her heartbeat start to quicken, her skin tingling as she resisted the urge to say 'screw you' to the pool party and drag Tyler up to her room and have her way with him.

Caroline grimaced at the way the two were having eye-sex with each other right in front – I mean, it's like their freaking rabbits and, while I am interested in hearing the smut, I'd rather not see the porn channel right in front of me.

"Okay, before you two start spraying pheromones everywhere, or at the very least, start screwing in the car," She looked at them pointedly, and both took a earnest step away from each other, still shooting each other glances every other second."Why don't we get going?" She strode past them out the door.

"I really don't like her." Tyler growled. He leaned down. "Why'd I agree to give her a lift?" He muttered to Bonnie.

Bonnie smirked and tipped her head, her green eyes flashing. "Because you wanna make me happy." She purred.

She kissed him on the corner of her mouth, leaving a trace of her cherry lip-gloss on his lips, which she proceeded to rub off with her thumb and suck the digit around her mouth, licking the taste off it. Tyler groaned and glared down at her.

"You're a tease, Bonnie Rabbit." He said, huskily, leaning down to let his nose graze her shoulder, taking in the scent that was uniquely Bonnie. Honey and vanilla.

Bonnie chuckled and let her hand curl around his jaw, pressing her mouth against hers, quickly.

"But I always deliver." She fluttered her eyelashes up at him.

"You better." Tyler said, lowly, his eyes molten and smouldering.

"I swear to God, if you two are getting it on right there in the entrance hall, I'll kill you both." Caroline shrieked.

Damon, Elena, Alaric and Aliyah were sitting in the car. Alaric and Damon took up the driver's and passenger's seats, while Elena and Aliyah were forced to share the backseat, much to their displeasure.

Damon smirked, looking back over his shoulder at Elena. "How are you doing back there? You know, this whole pretending to hate me thing is getting a little silly." He said, mockingly.

Alaric raised an eyebrow. "I don't think she's pretending. You did kill her brother."

"There is a huge asterisk next to that statement: he came back to life." Damon said, pointedly.

"Yeah, thanks to a ring you didn't know he was wearing." Elena snapped.

"Why are you so sure I didn't know?" Damon asked, curiously.

"Did you?" Elena asked, challengingly.

"Yes." Damon said, stubbornly.

Aliyah leaned towards Elena. "He's lying." She replied.

Elena nodded.

Damon growled. "Elena, I saw the ring! It's a big tacky thing, it's hard to miss." He pointed out.

Aliyah turned to Elena. "Anytime you'd like me to kill him, just let me know." She smiled, serenely.

Elena raised an eyebrow. "I thought you didn't like me." She said, snidely.

"Oh, I don't." Aliyah said, cheerfully. "But I dislike Damon more than I dislike you." She shrugged.

"I'll let you know if I want him to die." Elena muttered to her, a little hesitant by the blunt way Aliyah had put her distaste for her.

Aliyah gave an emphatic nod. "Just say the word."

Alaric, Aliyah, Elena and Damon were walking through the corridors of Duke University.

"So, Isobel was officially employed by the anthropology department, given that most paranormal phenomenon is rooted in folklore." Alaric explained, as they arrived at an office.

Alaric opened the door and walked inside. "Excuse me, hi. I'm Alaric Saltzman, I called earlier." He said, slowly.

There was a young, brunette girl, wearing a khaki jacket and ripped jeans, inside the office. She smiled at them.

"Yes, of course. I'm Vanessa Monroe: Research Assistant, Comparative Folklore." She said, cheerfully. Her eyes widened and narrowed when she looked at Elena. Aliyah smirked, guessing that the woman must have had a run-in with or at least seen a picture of Katerina. "Uh, let me just grab Isobel's keys." She said, nervously.

"These are my friends, Aliyah, Elena and Damon. I hope this isn't too much of an imposition." Alaric said, quickly.

"Oh, please," Vanessa waved off. "Isobel's office is right through there. Isobel was one of my first professors. I'm a grad student, she was brilliant and one of the reasons I went into folklore. Uh," She looked at Alaric, uncertainly. "I have to ask, has there been any news?"

Alaric shook his head, his face hardening as he remembered the cold shell of what used to be the woman he was madly in love with.

"No, I'm afraid not." He said, grimly.

Vanessa smiled at him, apologetically. "It's this way." She gestured to Isobel's office door and all four followed her, entering the office. "I'll grab the light, feel free to look around. It's fascinating, isn't it?" She grinned at them before leaving.

Alaric, Aliyah, Damon and Elena were browsing the office, looking for information on werewolves – Aliyah, of course, knew enough to be an expert, but was instead looking on any research that may clue her into Katherine's whereabouts or whether Katherine happened to be in contact with Klaus. After a few moments, Aliyah pursed her lips and narrowed her eyes.

"Now, where did she go off to?" She asked, suspiciously.

Suddenly, Vanessa appeared in the doorway of the office, a crossbow clutched in her hands. She raised the weapon, pulled the trigger and shot an arrow aimed at Elena. Damon took a step forward so that he was placed right in front of Elena to protect her and received the arrow in his back for his troubles. Aliyah growled under her breath and flashed forwards, gripping the human girl by the throat and pinning her against the wall.

"Please!" Vanessa choked out. "I freaked out, okay? Alright, you would have done the same thing, it's not possible! Katherine Pierce can't be alive and Damon Salvatore died in 1864. Okay, I read Isobel's research." She said, hastily. She looked at Aliyah, fearfully. "And you. You shouldn't be-"

Aliyah smirked. "Well, then, you should know just how possible this is." She interrupted, raising an eyebrow, silently warning her to keep her mouth shut about her true identity.

Elena turned around, after finally ripping the arrow from Damon's back. "I'm Elena Gilbert, Isobel's daughter and a descendant of Katherine Pierce. And this is Damon Salvatore who you just shot." She gestured, half-heartedly.

Damon smirked, viciously, at Vanessa. "I'd be extra nice to me right now." He growled, dangerously.

Elena looked at Aliyah, pleadingly. "Can you please let her go?"

Aliyah looked back at Vanessa, her eyes thoughtful. "If I let you go, you promise not to try and off any of us?" She snarled. "Because if you do, I'll snap your neck like a twig." She hissed, threateningly, the veins under her eyes appearing momentarily, giving the human girl a good dose of fear that rushed through her veins.

Vanessa nodded, furiously, and Aliyah rolled her eyes, loosing her grip on the human so that she fell to the ground, gasping for air and clutching her sore, red throat.

"Look, we need your help okay? We need to see all of Isobel's research, anything related to Mystic Falls." Elena said, hastily.

"This box checks Katherine's arrival to Mystic Falls in April 1864." Vanessa declared, dropping the box down on the table.

Elena frowned down at the box, observing the smallness of it. "Is that all there is about her?" She asked, suspiciously.

Vanessa shrugged. "All that I'm aware of."

Elena peered inside the box, seeing vervain inside. She shot Damon and Aliyah nervous looks and handed some of it to Vanessa.

"Here, take this." Elena muttered.

"Does vervain really work?" Vanessa asked, curiously, looking down at the plant in her hands.

"Nope, not at all." Damon shook his head.

"Can they hear us?" Vanessa whispered.

"No, that would be bloody awful." Aliyah piped in.

"Can they read minds too?" Vanessa hissed.

Damon smirked. "You know, if you want to see me naked, all you have to do is ask."

"No, we can't read minds." Aliyah said, sweetly. "But the guy in there is very capable of being a first-rate arsehole."

Vanessa looked down at the herb in her hands and slid it into her pocket, making both Damon and Aliyah smile.

Reviews:

NicoleR85: Thanks so much, babe. I'm so glad you liked it!

mythzzrosenov: All I can promise on the cheating front is that Klaus most certainly doesn't sleep with Hayley and get her pregnant. As for Aliyah going against Klaus, some of that will happen in Season 2 because Aliyah is going to try her hardest to stop Klaus from killing Elena, but after that, you'll seem them pretty much aligned with each other and a common goal.

Wikked: Thank you so much! I'm so glad you liked it!

Guest: So sorry for the massive wait. And this one's not exactly a quick update either. I can't promise my updates will get quicker, but rest assured, I haven't forgotten about this story.

Aiphira: Thank you so much! When I was reading over that scene, I could understand why you'd get that idea. Unfortunately, there's no straight-up femslash in this fic, but let's just say that Aliyah has those leanings as well. In my belief, sexuality's pretty fluid for a vampire and there's nothing preventing Aliyah from dabbling a bit (without cheating on Klaus). But there's no romantic Caroliyah in this story, mainly because Aliyah sees Caroline the way she would Rebekah, like a little sister.

Guest: Thank you so much!

Skyeward MusicLover: I'm glad you liked it! And I'm happy you enjoyed the bonding between my three favourite girls. There's definitely more to come!

BloodyAvenger21: I really love your idea. It sounds really cool. But, unfortunately, I'm keeping my mouth shut about Caroline's pairing in this story. It's super-secret hush-hush and you'll just have to wait and see what happens with her and her mysterious future lover. Thank you so much! You're so sweet, I swear :) Don't worry, even though my chapters have been few and far in between, I haven't forgotten about this story. I've put way too much planning into this story to just forget about it like that.

PracticallyCharmed: Thank you so much, babe :) This means a lot to me! I am changing a lot with vampire Caroline, because she has the possibility to be so much more than she is on the show. And I always figured that if you were directly turned by an Original, you've got to have some extra stuff to take advantage of. Like Marcel seems to be pretty strong for a vampire who's Stefan's and Damon's age. Bonnie does kind of have a martyr complex, but she won't have it for the same people. Bonnie always sacrificed herself for Elena, but she won't be doing that all that much now that Aliyah's in the picture. She may sacrifice herself for Aliyah if the situations causes for it, but Aliyah definitely won't be happy if that happens. Bonnie's going to keep getting stronger with her magic and I'm so glad you're enjoying Tonnie. As for Tyler breaking the curse, who knows what'll happen with that? He does break his curse and it pretty much happens the same way, but Bonnie will still play a part in it. Well, a witch doesn't have to be sacrificed. But I read on the Vampire Diaries Wiki that Katherine had two plans for the sacrifice. Plan A had Caroline as the vampire sacrifice, Mason the werewolf sacrifice and Lucy the witch to perform the ritual. Plan B had Caroline as the vampire sacrifice, Tyler the werewolf and Bonnie the witch. So, in this story, Aliyah's assuming that Katherine also wants to hand Klaus a witch on a platter to do the sacrifice and that witch is Bonnie because she doesn't know about Lucy yet. Hopefully that makes sense. Anyway, I'm glad you like the relationship between Bonnie, Caroline and Aliyah. Trust me, there's heaps of bonding time coming up soon. I'm so glad you liked the chapter!

AnneAC: Thank you so much! I'm glad you're liking Bonnie, Aliyah and Caroline's friendship. They're definitely my BrOTP for this story. Yep, Elena's not really my favourite character and I'm sure it shows in this story. Aliyah's like a master manipulator. She knows that if she messes with way too much going on, the Salvatores and Elena will figure out that there's something different and suspicious about Aliyah and she wants to be the one to alert them as to who she really is. I'm so glad you like my version of Caroline and Bonnie. They're definitely my favourite characters. Elijah and Aliyah's moments are definitely coming up. I think I have a few flashbacks coming up and Klaus and Aliyah will definitely have more interaction between this episode and The Last Dance where he shows up 'in person'. It's yes and no on the love triangle. It's not really a love triangle because Elijah's pretty resigned himself to the fact that Aliyah loves Klaus and she's never going to leave him, but a lot's unfinished between them and we'll definitely see how Elijah and Aliyah react around each other. It definitely shows that there's something there. So, there will be plenty of angst and drama between the three and Klaus really uses her previous marriage to Elijah against Aliyah more than once. I'm so glad you liked the chapter and I hope you enjoy this one!

mrs Tall Blonde and Dead: I'm so sorry it's been so long. Hopefully you like this update just as much as the last one! I'm glad you like Caroline and Aliyah together, and don't worry, there's plenty of Klaus and Aliyah to come. Thank you so much for your review!

LadyDV011: I know! I am so, so, so sorry! I know I suck at updating. I've just been so busy and hopefully this update is enough to last you for a while. I know it's been awhile, but I don't plan on abandoning this story. It'll take me awhile, but I promise I will update every now and then.

piper: Don't worry. Hayley won't be having sex with Klaus and most certainly will not get pregnant by him. I'd never do that to Aliyah and I hate Hayley just as much. Like, seriously, I might even have Aliyah and Bonnie kill her to just to keep her hands away from Klaus and Tyler.

tate4eva: Thank you so much! You're so sweet :)

ThisUsernameIsIndecisive: Yep, Tonnie is finally canon as of this story! Don't worry, Klaus and Aliyah have some time together, I promise. They may not meet face to face, but we will see how present day Klaus is reacting to everything happening in Mystic Falls.

WibblyWobblyFez: Well, no. Marcel is still alive. But as far as Aliyah is concerned, Marcel died in 1919 because of Mikael. She still thinks he's dead because she never went back to New Orleans to find out. It hurt to much to go back to that place because she considered Marcel to be like her son. The Originals will be covered in this story. Maybe not specifically this story, but in a sequel. I do have a massive plan for The Originals, so don't worry. Thank you so much! I'm so glad you like it so far and hopefully you enjoy this chapter too!

Guest: My main attempt for this story was to create a character that would always put Bonnie and Caroline first. Hopefully, I achieved that. Aliyah's not going to let either of her girls get taken advantage of by anyone: especially Elena or the Salvatores. Yep, Kol and Aliyah are super close because they're the only ones who really suffered when they lost their magic and became vampires. Kol really loves Aliyah, especially since he's the black sheep of the family. Frankly, he's more loyal to her than he is to his own siblings because she's the one who goes out of her way to be his sister and love him through everything. I might actually be tempted to write a Kol/OC but for now this story is centred around Klaus and Aliyah because I find Klaus really interesting to write. I'm so glad you like Aliyah so much. She's got a bit of a temper, but it's a quiet, you-don't-know-what-she's-going-to-do temper and she hides it under a lot of snark, and she really loves her girls. She has been with more than one Mikaelson brother and that's Klaus and Elijah. Right now, Klaus is my favourite Mikaelson brother, then comes Kol and then Elijah (because I don't like the decisions he's made in TO). Aliyah really hates Elena. She takes every chance she can possibly get to call her out on her bullshit. If you haven't guessed by now, I can't stand Elena. Aliyah just wants Bonnie to be happy and she wants her to make informed choices about everything. She'd stand by Bonnie in everything, but she also wants Bonnie to know about the risks of everything she does. I honestly don't know what to do about Stefan. He's not completely unredeemable like Elena and Damon, so I don't know whether to stick him with Rebekah or let him find someone else he likes. I'm so glad you're digging the Tonnie. And Aliyah and Klaus do have a pretty unhealthy relationship, but I thought it would be more realistic for them to have one. They've been together for over a thousand years and they have a lot of issues. They have their fluffy moments, but their issues and their history stop them from being completely healthy. Caroline will be with one of the Originals, only because I don't ship her with Matt. I actually can't stand Maroline. Plus, everyone else I ship with Caroline is already taken in this story. Anyway, I'm glad you're enjoying the story and I hope you like this one!

Gabby: I love long reviews. Thank you so much for your feedback. I'm glad you like the Bonnie, Caroline and Aliyah relationship. They're definitely my BrOTP for this story. Bonnie's still a bit judgment and distrustful and I think it's more realistic if she doesn't trust Aliyah completely, so I like playing around with that. And I think Caroline deserved a proper vampire mentor to help her around with her transition and who better than her sire? She didn't seem to get more from Stefan after that one episode, so I thought I'd rectify that. Plus, I think she needs someone to help her through all the dramatic changes in her life. Jealous!Tyler will be making his appearance very soon when Jeremy and Luka make their moves on Bonnie. And I wanted to establish Bonnie's relationship earlier on, so she has that supportive figure in her life right from the get go when all the insane drama starts. I don't ship Maroline. I think Matt was just a really crappy boyfriend to Caroline and she deserved way better. It wasn't just him being in love with Elena, but he acted like everything was her fault and he blamed her for everything when she deserved so much more concern after being in a freaking car accident. But I'm keeping my mouth shut on which lucky Original gets to have Caroline all to himself/herself. I'm glad you like the dynamic between Aliyah and the Originals and we'll definitely see a reunion between Aliyah and Elijah soon. Yep, Aliyah isn't white. She takes more of a Mediterranean look like Qetsiyah, but she's a little darker, and I have a different actress in mind to play Ayanna in this story. Okay, so those are a lot of questions. Bear with me. The plot will still be about Klaus taking NOLA back from Marcel, but there are some other plotlines going on that I don't want to spill just yet. I might expand on the werewolf mythology once we get into NOLA because I want Klaus to have a run-in with his birth father when people start coming back to life. As for the biology of a hybrid, they're pretty much going to be the same as the hybrids in TVD/TO, but I'll definitely expand on the learning experience. Bonnie is still getting a tattoo. I think they showed us in Season 1 that sometimes Bonnie's magic reacts to her intense emotions. I try and play on that to show that's still a learning witch who doesn't have a lot of control over her magic, but she is getting better at it. But when she gets angry, her magic reacts along with her anger. I plan on making her magic beyond the whole Earth and spirits thing. She won't be answering the spirits like she did in TVD, at least not for that long. And Aliyah will be training them all in self-defence very soon, I promise. Thank you so much for the review. I really loved the feedback and it was really nice to hear your thoughts on everything. Hope you enjoyed the chapter!

Martyna Malecka: Thank you so much! You're so sweet! I'm glad you like Aliyah. And wow, to think you consider her a potential role model really blows my mind. I know Tonnie is a bit out there in terms of TVD pairings, but I thought it would be interesting to explore. And I'm glad you like the relationship between Bonnie, Aliyah and Caroline. I hate Elena too, trust me there'll be plenty of Elena bashing coming up because Aliyah's not one to miss an opportunity to call her out on her bullshit. And thank you for the advice, we have plenty of sweet scenes between Klaus and Aliyah coming up. Not just sex scenes, but stuff that shows what they really think about each other and how much they're in love and what draws them together. So, hopefully you enjoy them. And, as for Damon and Aliyah, no. I could never write a friendship between them at all. Out of respect for Caroline, Damon will never be anything but a jackass that Aliyah wants to kill in this story. I think that anyone who considers Caroline to be a friend should treat Damon like he's a cockroach. Because that's what he is. Again, thank you so much for reviewing. Your feedback means a lot to me!

HPuni101: Thank you so much! I'm glad you like the relationship between Aliyah, Bonnie and Caroline. And I wanted Aliyah to be honest with Caroline and Bonnie because no one ever treats them like they're worth anything. Elena and the Salvatores have kept them in the dark more than once and I wanted to rectify that. Elijah and Klaus will be coming soon and there are definitely more flashbacks to come, I promise. Thank you again for your review!

Lee: Don't worry. It's not the ordinary love triangle between the three, but you'll understand why that is when Elijah shows up. Aliyah is Klaus'. That's not going to change. But Klaus has to actually believe that first and that's a huge problem between them. Nothing too drastic is going to happen between Aliyah and Elijah. Theirs is more of a past relationship than anything. And it will be incredibly angsty and dramatic and intense when Aliyah and Klaus are reunited, I promise. Thank you so much for reviewing. It was nice to hear from you!

Nikki: I'm keeping my mouth shut on the baby plot. But I can safely say you won't be expecting it. At least, I hope you won't. There's plenty of Klaus and Aliyah moments coming up, so enjoy! As for Caroline's pairing, I'm not saying a word. Thanks for your review!

Lily: Don't worry, there'll be plenty of Klaus and Aliyah to look forward to, I promise. Thank you so much! I hope you enjoyed the chapter!

LokiLova: I'm so sorry for the late update. And I hope you enjoyed the chapter! We'll see the Originals soon and how Aliyah acts around them. They have the awesomest relationship, I promise. I don't want to say too much about what's going to happen between Klaus and Bonnie, because it'll spoil the surprise. But, don't worry, it'll be pretty intense. I'm glad you're liking the plot so far and enjoying Caroline and Aliyah together. Thank you so much for the review! It was nice to hear from you.

Anastasia Dreams: I'm glad you liked it, hun :) And for someone like you to say it's really good, it like blows my mind. Hopefully, you get a chance to read more!

dorkyhoks: Thank you so much! I'm so glad you're liking the story and my portrayal of Bonnie. I like making her and Caroline the centre of the story along with Aliyah, instead of looking at Elena too much. And I'm glad you like Tonnie. I thought it would be interesting to write a rare pairing for Bonnie because she never gets love. Anyway, thank you for the review and I hope you enjoyed the chapter!

Skye: Thank you so much! And there's no schedule for the updates. As soon as I finish a chapter, I'll update. I'm sorry, but I have no idea when that could be, but I promise I won't abandon this story.

A/N: So, here we are! I know it took me ages to come out with this update and I am so, so, so sorry about the wait. I'm sure a lot of people had been anxious to get back to the storyline of Season 2. Hopefully you all liked the first part of Bad Moon Rising. The total length for this episode was over 16,000 words, so I thought it would be best to split it into two so you guys wouldn't miss anything.

I think Tonnie was pretty much the focus of this chapter. And probably the next one as well. I hope you guys liked the flashbacks of mini-Tyler and mini-Bonnie: how cute are they together! Possessive Tyler really comes out in 5 year old Tyler, doesn't he? I like the fact that he threw Matt overboard at the chance of getting Bonnie to himself. And he had to make it clear to Matt that Bonnie was his before he could be Tyler's friend. And I love that 'she's a people' line. It makes me crack up every time I read it.

I hope you guys liked the confrontation between Elena and Aliyah at the beginning. I thought those were things that needed to be said and feel free to correct me if any of the information is wrong. I did go through the timeline religiously just to make sure I had all the dates right. And I was stunned by some of the information I found. I hope you guys don't find Caroline too OOC. A lot of it is just the whole vampire transitioning thing and she's kind of pissed off at Elena and Stefan for keeping the whole thing a secret for so long, especially after what Damon did to her, which she doesn't plan on forgiving as easily as she did in TVD.

And of course, now there's the question whether Vanessa will spill the fact that Aliyah's an Original. And I hope you guys liked the Jenna/Aliyah moment in this chapter. I am trying to get Aliyah to have relationships with others than Caroline and Bonnie and Jenna is one that I'm playing around with. So, maybe next chapter, we'll see them finally get that drink together.

Anyway, I'll see you guys next chapter and if you liked it, please leave me a review. It helps me know if I'm going on the right track and whether you guys are actually liking the story or I'm just fooling myself.

See you next time, babes 3
