I see sparks fly, whenever you smile.

The next morning, their first class of the day was Potions with the Slytherins. Gabrielle walked into class, she saw Draco and gave him a slight glance and smile and sat with Lavender. Pansy had entered the classroom not too long after she did, she tensed at the sight of her. Draco noted that Gabrielle was tense and he suddenly looked at Pansy and gave her a knowing look. She just nodded slightly and sat down.

The class had begun and Gabrielle felt extremely uncomfortable. She could see from the corner of her eyes that people were leaning in and whispering. No doubt they had all the same inkling that Hermione had. That someone had attacked Pansy on behalf of her. It started to feel a bit too much. Even only 30minutes into the lesson. Lavender looked over to her "Gab, did you hear about Pansy?"

"Yeah" Gabrielle said monotonously "no I don't know who did it, and yes I know what people are saying that it may have been on my behalf. No I am not happy, nor do I care who did it" she answered. She shot her hand up in the air.

"Ah Miss de Famille, question?"

"More like asking to be excused so I may go to the infirmary, Professor Slughorn, sir. I have a migraine. Madame Pomfrey told me to go back to her if I felt any symptoms since the…" she trailed off and then looked at Pansy "attack on me in the Great Hall"

"Oh my" he nodded in understanding "of course, go right ahead Miss de Famille"

"Thank you, Professor" Gabrielle gathered all her things and left the classroom.

As soon as she left, the whole class started to whisper and chatter. All the Gryffindors gave Pansy death stares and the Slytherins were looking at Pansy trying to pry information out of her as to who attacked her. Draco had enough of what he was hearing. "Pansy tell us who did it!" "Who attacked you?" "Who would want to protect that blood-traitor anyway?" he immediately stood up and gathered his things without warning. He walked over to Professor Slughorn who looked more confused than ever.

"Professor, I need to speak with Professor Snape regarding an important matter"

"Oh of course, did he permit this?" he asked.

"I'll have him write me a note" Draco nodded as he exited. Draco headed toward the one place where he knew Gabrielle would be, he headed straight toward there, he didn't have to even second guess where she was.

As he entered the Room of Requirement she was sitting infront of the fireplace sobbing. He closed the door behind him, she reacted to the sound of the door closing. "Char"

"I couldn't be there for another minute" she said as she looked at him whilst shaking her head "I couldn't stand it, everyone chattering, staring at me. As if being part of one rumour was enough, there's another one" she sighed "what if they do find out its you, Malfoy? What then?"

"I'll deal with that when it happens" he sat next to her

"People are gonna be wondering where you are"

"Let them"

"Do you really think that our actions are going to go unnoticed? You left not long after I did"

"Char, I don't care what they say" Draco reassured her worries.

"You can't keep going after me when I disappear somewhere or if I'm upset over something" Gabrielle looked at him.

"I can and I will. You can't stop me Char"

"I can, Draco. Just...don't let me get to that point. When I walk away, you need to just let me" she sighed as she walked away

"Where are you going?"

"To the Common room, I'm tired" she sighed as she headed back to the dormitories.

Draco was in Professor Snape's office near the dungeons, they were having a conversation about his mission. "Professor, I need you to write me a note, I left Potions class"

"Ah yes, Professor Slughorn did mention that" he nodded "and…what, Mr. Malfoy did you find so important that you had to leave class? There was to be no test on the vanishing cupboard today"

"I…wanted to check on Gabrielle when she left class, sir"

"de Famille?" Snape raised his eyebrow in surprise "what business do you have with her?"

"Her and I are…trying to get to know each other and be friends again"

"You are a fool!" Snape scolded him "there is no time to be in pursuit of a conquest when you have much more important things to be focusing on"

"She is not a conquest, Professor"

"Then if you do care about her, you focus on what you're supposed to be doing and not drag her into something"

"She already knows"

"SHE WHAT?!"

"She doesn't know that I have to kill Dumbledore. She knows that I have a mission from the Dark Lord"

"You stupid little ferret" Snape glared at him "because of your feelings for a blood traitor you are going to put this plan into jeopardy and we'll both be killed"

"Don't you dare call her that" Draco answered back.

"Don't you answer back to me you stupid, little..." he trailed off "you need to stop thinking about her, detach all emotions and cut her out of your life. Feelings get in the way and it only ends in pain. Get rid of her"

"I...can't do that"

"Then you have sent us to our deaths"

Draco went back to the Room of Requirement to see if Gabrielle was still there, she wasn't. He scratched his head in confusion and headed to the Great Hall. Gabrielle was there with her friends. He headed over to the Slytherin table where he kept a watchful eye over her.

"Are you feeling ok, Gab?"

"Yeah, fine" Gabrielle answered quietly as she ate her food

"What did Madam Pomfrey say about your symptoms?" Parvati asked.

"Oh, I didn't go" she answered "I felt a bit ill so I went to my room and went to sleep for a bit. I'll go see her after lunch"

"I hope you're feeling better"

"Thanks" she sighed to herself as she played with her food. She had so much to think about what was happening with all the drama that was happening. The owl mail decided to come in and started to drop off some letters. She received a letter from Fred and that made her feel better. She opened it quickly and read. "Fred's coming!" she smiled as she stood up and gathered all her things.

"Where are you going?"

"To Hogsmeade" she smiled as she ran out of the Great Hall.

Gabrielle made her way to the path leading to Hogsmeade. She tightened her Gryffindor Scarf around her other neck and started to walk over to Hogsmeade at the Three Broomsticks. She looked into the pub and saw Fred waiting for her in a booth "Fred!" she walked over to the table. He stood up and ran over to her and embraced her in a tight hug.

"'ello love" he sighed happily. They then sat in the booth and ordered two butter beers. "How have you been feeling?"

"I've been good" she smiled at him "missing you though"

"I'm missable" he smiled "I miss you too"

"You're so sure of yourself" she chuckled at him

"How are you feeling since the attack? Any more headaches?"

"No more, thank Merlin" Gabrielle nodded "I'm assuming you heard about the attack on Pansy?"

"Ron mentioned that in his letter" he nodded "have they found out who did it?"

"Nope" she looked to the side and drank her butterbeer.

"Maybe you have a secret protector!" Fred said enthusiastically.

"Maybe" Gabrielle answered "but it doesn't matter right now. How is everything?"

"Shop is good" he nodded "the order is working harder than ever in trying to find…you-know-who" he whispered "I just want you lay low"

"Lay low? Hogwarts is safe, Fred. There is no way you-know-who can breakthrough" Gabrielle answered "its near impossible…unless…" she trailed off, she then realised what Draco was up to.

"What?"

"Nevermind" she answered "its just a stupid thought"

Draco was sitting in the Great Hall when a letter was dropped in front of him.

Room of Requirement. Now.

He folded up the letter and left his group of friends and started to head to the Room of Requirement. He entered and Gabrielle was there standing in front of the Vanishing Cabinet. "I got you…letter. Char, what is going on?"

"I figured out what you were doing with this thing" she looked at the Vanishing Cabinet.

"…what?"

"You're going to let people in here, aren't you? Death eaters"

"Char…its"

"Answer my question!"

"Yes"

"So this is what this stupid mission is all about? To let people into Hogwarts. Do you really think that I am going to let you do this?"

"WHY DIDN'T YOU THINK I DIDN'T WANT TO TELL YOU?!"

"You never were, I was going to figure this out myself" Gabrielle yelled back "you really are one of them now. I can't believe this, Malfoy"

"Char" he tried to approach her.

"No" she stood back from him "you're just as bad as my father"

"I AM NOT LIKE HIM"

"Sure, first you're just saying, its just small jobs. They're harmless. Then the next thing you know…" she trailed off "its doesn't matter. You're one of them, a Deatheater. It'll only be a matter of time before you start attacking muggles, halfbloods and someone like me"

"Like you?"

"Like you don't know the term. You've been calling me this since the day I chose to stay in Gryffindor"

"Bloodtraitor" he looked down at the floor.

"Need I say more" she said as she started to tear up.

"Char" he tried to wrap his arms around her and held her close for a hug "I'm sorry"

"You have to stop this" she whispered

"I have to do this, he'll kill me. Char, I've never been so scared in my life"

"Malfoy, I have to go"

"Char...stay with me"

"Malfoy..."

"Please, just...stay with me here for a bit. It makes me forget the world out there"

"Malfoy..." she began again

"Please" his eyes met hers.

"Alright" she sighed "I'll stay"

"Thank you" as he hugged her again.

What do you guys want to happen? I personally love this but have to drag everything out.
