Chapter 19
Kill or Be Killed: Part II
Damon downed the water bottle, hurriedly, the water gushing down his lips and chin in rivulets, while Stefan steadied him and Aliyah watched, carefully.
"I'm gonna kill him." Damon muttered.
"Listen to me! Sit! Sit!" Stefan growled, lowly, his eyes hurriedly searching for Mason.
Damon scowled and glared at his brother. "I'm not listening anymore of your 'give peace a chance' crap. He's dead!" He snapped.
"Okay." Stefan pursed his lips, nodding to himself as if he were trying to reassure himself. "I don't like it. He's making threats. He could expose us. We need to put him down." He turned to Aliyah, who remained still. "You with us?"
"I can't," Aliyah shook her head, her eyes dark and cold. She had warned Mason, after all. "I gave Bonnie my word that I wouldn't hurt Mason Lockwood." She explained, shrugging.
"You've got to be kidding me." Damon groaned.
"Look, I can't hurt him, but there's nothing to say that you both can't." Aliyah looked at them, meaningfully. "I'm going to go look for Caroline. Just in case."
Damon's eyes dawned with realization. "Alright. Let's do it."
His eyes searched the park and he saw Mason going off into the woods on his own, clutching a bunch of black garbage bags.
"Woods. Trash duty. Come on." Damon muttered, grabbing Stefan by the arm and leading him off, while Aliyah rushed out of the gazebo.
Caroline and Elena were walking through the woods.
Elena frowned at her, confused and slightly suspicious. "Where are you going? What's going on?"
Caroline rolled her eyes. "I need to be able to hear better." She explained, quickly.
"Hear what?" Elena raised an eyebrow.
"Something's wrong, Elena." Caroline said, tightly.
Aliyah suddenly flashed in front of them. She placed her hands on Caroline's shoulders, her eyes searching Caroline's for any sign that she was hurt.
"Are you alright?" Aliyah asked, slowly.
"Yeah, why?" Caroline asked, worriedly, her hands coming up to cover Aliyah's
Elena stepped forwards. "What's going on?"
"Mason Lockwood poisoned Damon with vervain." Aliyah explained, sternly. "He could expose us any time. Damon and Stefan have gone to kill him."
"Wait, what?" Elena's eyes widened.
Aliyah held a hand out to stop her from talking any further. "Hush, Elena." She said, coldly.
Both her and Caroline stretched out their senses to hear what was going on what seemed a few feet away. They pursed their lips, hearing as Damon and Stefan were shot with wooden bullets by two deputies.
"Oh, God." Caroline breathed, her eyes widened in fear.
Elena looked between the twin pale faces of Aliyah and Caroline. "What? What is it?" She asked, worriedly.
"Stefan and Damon have been shot by Liz and two of her deputies. She knows." Aliyah said, grimly.
Tyler's hips slid against Bonnie's and Bonnie bit her lip, feeling the head of his cock jut against her wetness. She felt her stomach clench in arousal and she spread her legs wider for him, her face not changing the slightest.
"You sure about this?" Tyler asked, worriedly. "I mean, we can stop if you want." He said, reassuringly.
"Tyler, I want this." Bonnie murmured, earnestly, her hips arching towards him.
Tyler nodded and used the grip on her thighs to slide her down the bed, slightly, and pull her open for him.
Inch by inch, he sank into her, Bonnie's mouth opened in a gasp as he filled her. In one sharp thrust, Tyler slid inside and she could feel him hitting her cervix with the amount of power in that one thrust. Bonnie's nails dug into her palm, almost to the point of drawing blood, as Tyler started a careful rhythm, thrusting in and out of her.
She could feel every inch of her buzzing as he slid into her, her hands suddenly clutching for anything to hold onto, finally resting on his biceps, feeling his muscles quiver after every single powerful thrust into her very willing body. Her hands slid up from his arms until they curved around his jaw and pulled him down, his face slotting against her neck as if it were a missing puzzle piece. His nose nuzzled the soft skin of her neck, the scent of honey and vanilla from her skin filling the air and only arousing him more, much like a drug or second-hand smoking.
He could actually feel the contact high from the combination of her sweet-smelling skin, her thighs around his waist and her cunt on his cock.
She could feel herself gushing around him with every single one of his thrusts, her wetness dampening his cock. Her hands dug into his hair, holding him hard against her neck as his every thrust rocked the headboard of the bed against the wall. She could hear the sound of his pelvic bone striking her sensitive flesh and she could feel herself drenching him anew, the arousal setting deep in her bones, making her bite down a sob of pleasure as Tyler's cock hit her in all of the right ways.
This was definitely better than any of her memories or anything she could do by herself.
And now she had him all to herself, whenever she wanted.
Her nails dug into his shoulder blades and scalp, licking her lips as her hips undulated against his. Tyler growled against her shoulder, sounding very much like the wolf he was supposed to be, his hands digging greatly into her hips, pulling back as he realized that he would most certainly leave bruises the next day.
The only way he could mark his sweet baby was a bite mark on her neck – she's mine!
Finally, Bonnie rubbed and rubbed her body against his, frantically, until she was rearing up, her body propped up on her elbows. Her body tensed and her limbs seized up. Her fingers grasped for momentum and her toes curled in pleasure, her nerves singing with the painful pleasure of it all. Her mouth parted, her eyes almost rolling back in her head.
Her head thrashed against the pillow and she felt her magic rearing up around them. She felt her fingertips sizzle with the power of it and she knew, at that moment, that if she allowed it to, she could destroy the entire room with her magic. In fact, her head tipped to the side and she could see a series of cracks along the walls of Tyler's bedroom, only feeling slightly apologetic.
"Tyler!" She shrieked.
She convulsed around him, her cunt drenching his cock as her stomach clenched repeatedly. Her legs tightened around his waist and she felt Tyler's teeth bite down on her neck, the spark of pain lighting up her insides as her orgasm washed over her. Her nails dug into his back, almost drawing blood, and she swore the universe stopped for her.
All she could feel was the never-ending pleasure that was coursing through her veins and trembling throughout her magic. She felt Tyler thrust, weakly, a few more times inside of her before she felt his limbs seize up as well and tell-tale sign that he was coming alongside her.
Tyler threw himself off her body, suddenly scared that he was crushing her with his weight, and fell to the other side of the bed, both of them panting as they desperately tried to regain their breath.
"What is it?" Elena asked.
Caroline looked at Aliyah, but she shook her head and looked at her, pointedly, Caroline realizing that Aliyah was trying to teach her a lesson here. Caroline turned back to Elena.
"They've been here." Caroline explained to the human girl. She looked at Aliyah, hesitantly, before leaning down and looking at a plant, which had blood on it.
"What?" Elena took a step forward, worriedly.
Mason suddenly appeared out of behind the trees, Aliyah making sure that Caroline and Elena were in her sight.
"What are you two doing out here?" Mason asked, curiously, his eyes glinting.
"Have you seen Stefan?" Elena asked, carefully.
Mason stared at Elena, narrowing his eyes, barely regarding Aliyah and Caroline out of the corner of his eye.
"Yeah, Elena, I've seen him. Seen Damon too." Mason smirked.
Elena glared at him, taking a step forward towards Mason. "Where are they?" She asked, harshly.
Aliyah rolled her eyes. No self-preservation whatsoever.
"You don't need me for that. I'll let your friends here sniff them out." Mason said, mockingly, looking over at Aliyah and Caroline, pointedly. He observed Caroline. "Does your mother know what you are? I'm happy to tell her."
Aliyah snarled at him, her fangs descending and her eyes bleeding crimson, but Mason caught Elena in his arms and trapped her in a headlock from behind.
"Don't be stupid! Necks snap easy around here." Mason said, sharply.
Aliyah smiled to herself and looked over at Caroline, happy to let her fledgling take the reins for this one.
Caroline smirked at Mason. "I can take you." She said, confidently, her muscles tensing the way Aliyah had taught her.
Mason raised an eyebrow, clearly not believing her. "Wanna bet?"
Caroline's smirk turned into a full-blown smile. "Yeah, I do."
She rushed at him, catching him and shoving him up against the tree, her forearm pinning his neck to the trunk. She bared her teeth in a vicious smile and leaned in.
"I was sired by a freaking Original vampire. What do you think?" She hissed, low enough that Elena couldn't hear, but Aliyah simply watched with pride. "I told you." She sang, beaming up at him with bright, blue eyes.
She raised her knee and slammed it hard into his groin, threw him to the floor and kicked him hard in the stomach with such great force that he was thrown in the air and hit the tree with a loud smack, falling to the floor, groaning in pain.
"Oh, my God!" Caroline shrieked. "Did you see that?! I am so freaking awesome!" She grinned back at the others.
Aliyah laughed. "Oh, I told you that you were going to be brilliant." She crowed, throwing her head back and laughing. "That was bloody amazing, Caroline. I don't think I've ever been prouder of you."
Caroline grinned, proudly, practically preening as her sire's praise washed over her. She smiled, shyly, at the older woman and felt Aliyah's hand squeeze her shoulder in reply. Aliyah turned to Elena, checking the bruises on her neck, and knew that they would heal without the assistance of vampire blood.
"Are you hurt?" Aliyah asked, quickly.
Elena touched the bruises on her throat, feeling a slight sting of pain but ignoring it in favour of getting to Stefan and Damon quicker. "I'll be fine." She said, reassuringly.
"Then, let's go find your boy toys, before Caroline and I get exposed as well." Aliyah said, long-sufferingly, and led the two girls forward.
Tyler's arm was thrown over Bonnie's neck, pinning her against his body, as they both looked up at the ceiling, desperately trying to regain breath from their earlier lovemaking.
"So, uh…" Bonnie trailed off, feeling very dumb as she mulled the words in her head.
"What's wrong, Bonnie?" Tyler murmured against the curve of her shoulder. He frowned, pursing his lips. "Was it… you know… good for you?" He asked, awkwardly, feeling terror form in the pit of his stomach.
Bonnie giggled and Tyler could feel the vibrations echo right through him. "I was… actually going to ask you the same question." She confessed. "I mean, you're… more experienced than I am and-"
"This is the best day of my life." Tyler said, adamantly, his arm tightening around her.
Bonnie smiled, shyly, an action that Tyler couldn't see, but he could see the way her cheekbones moved as her lips curled up.
"I mean it, Bonnie." Tyler said, earnestly. "No girl… none of them… could compare to you. You're everything." He kissed her skin, reverently.
"Are you sure?" Bonnie asked, quietly.
Tyler grinned. "Of course… those were just… hook-ups, nothing more." He said, quickly. "You are… so much more than that, sweet baby." He hummed against her bare, flushed skin.
Bonnie shifted, slightly, in his embrace, moving to rest her cheek on his bare chest, her hair tickling his skin. "I'm glad." She said, sweetly, feeling some of her shyness ebb away with Tyler's steadfast reassurance.
Tyler's left arm reached over the other side of the bed and into his bedside drawer. The arm around Bonnie's neck slid down her body, his knuckles grazing the curves of her breasts, making her squirm above him, her ass slotting low against his pelvis as his right hand splayed across her warm belly. His left hand scrambled, aimlessly, in his drawer until his fingers fell upon something cool and smooth to the touch. His fingers curled around the object and he pulled it out of the drawer, brandishing it at her.
"Mason was asking me about it earlier." Tyler murmured, shifting under the covers.
Bonnie turned to the side, so that Tyler's hand, which was splayed across her stomach, was now curving around her hip. Her hand curled into a fist on his chest and she looked up at the moonstone.
"He wants it." Bonnie said, simply.
"I looked it up, you know." Bonnie looked at him, inquisitively. "It's a natural rock, but there supposed to have all sorts of supernatural legends attached to them." He murmured.
Bonnie frowned, the subtle change in her expression tingling his skin. "So, why didn't you give it to him?"
"Because he wants it." Tyler said, simply. "I'm a dick that way." Bonnie snickered and leaned up, kissing the curve of his jaw. "It's important to him for some reason, but I don't trust the guy, so I'm not just gonna hand it to him."
Bonnie giggled, madly, running her hands through her hair. She leaned up and kissed him hard on the mouth. "I love you so much." She muttered against his lips.
Tyler cracked a smile. "I love you too, sweet baby." He pursed his lips. "So, do you want it?" He asked, interestedly, looking over at her, his hand sliding tantalizingly down her hip.
Bonnie pouted. "What makes you think that?"
Tyler snorted. "Come on, sweet baby, I know you like the back of my hand and you really want the moonstone, don't you?" He waggled his eyebrows.
"No," Bonnie shook her head. "I don't." She wondered if she was doing the wrong think by saying no to Tyler. Surely it would be easy to take the moonstone from Tyler and hand it to Aliyah for safekeeping. But, she couldn't do that to Tyler. "I want you to keep it. Just hold onto it for safekeeping."
"It's… uh, not a Lockwood family heirloom, is it?" Tyler said, knowingly.
"It used to belong to Aliyah's family like a thousand years ago." Bonnie shrugged. "But it's better off with you. I know you'll keep it safe and it's better if I stay away from it. It makes me nervous."
And I don't want Aliyah to have to use the moonstone as leverage against Klaus. I don't want her to get hurt just for this stupid moonstone.
"Okay." Tyler kissed Bonnie, sweetly, on her hair.
"So, uh," Bonnie cracked a smile, turned to look up at him with wicked, moss-green eyes. "Cosmo tells me that teenage boys have excellent refractory period." She waggled her eyebrows.
Tyler laughed, grabbing another condom wrapper from the box in his bedside table, and rolled on top of her, sliding down her body.
Bonnie smirked. "Extra large, huh?" She giggled, madly.
She suddenly shrieked as his lips descended on the hot, wet slickness between her legs, her hands tightening in the sheets as his tongue delved into her in all of the right ways.
Elena frowned when Aliyah and Caroline suddenly stopped at the entrance to the old Lockwood cellar.
"What's going on?" Elena asked, worriedly.
Aliyah and Caroline pursed their lips, both of them hearing as Liz ordered her deputies to kill Stefan and Damon, who were lying on the floor, weak from the wooden bullets and vervain that had poisoned them.
Elena bit her lip, her worry increasing when she saw the blank expressions on Caroline's and Aliyah's face. She wondered, absent-mindedly, when Caroline had learnt how to mask her emotions that well, and the resentment burned in her stomach when she realized that this must have been yet another thing that Aliyah had taught her best friend.
"Caroline. Caroline, what is it?" Elena patted her on the arm.
Caroline and Aliyah exchanged a knowing look.
Caroline turned to Elena. "My mom. She's killing them." She said, bluntly.
"What?!" Elena shrieked. "We have to stop her!"
"No, I can't." Caroline shook her head. "Elena, she's gonna find out about me." Elena rolled her eyes, annoyed at Caroline's selfishness, the jealousy and irritation currently churning in her stomach subconsciously blaming Aliyah for Caroline's change in personality, just knowing that Aliyah had taught Caroline that. She ignored her and rushed down the steps into the cellar. "Elena!" Caroline called out, worriedly.
Caroline looked at Aliyah, her eyes pleading for some sort of command that she could go on.
"What do I do, Aliyah?" Caroline whispered.
Aliyah shook her head. "You do what you need to do. Not what Elena Gilbert needs you to do." She murmured. "If you want to save Stefan and Damon, I will help you. But your mother will find out what you are. And if that is too much for you, you can stay up here and I will go and save them." She explained.
Caroline bit her lip.

Liz had her gun aimed at Damon and Stefan.
"Let's do this. Each with a stake in the heart, then burn them both. Check it out." Liz said, quickly.
All of them stilled, hearing a sound. One of the deputies excused himself, moving away to go and check it out. He was surprised and shocked when Elena managed to whack him over the head with a plank, who then proceeded into the cell, rushing over to stand in front of Damon and Stefan.
"Elena! What are you doing?" Liz exclaimed.
Elena shook her head, her hands out at her side as she tried to protect the Salvatore brothers. "You can't kill them. I'm not gonna let you." She said, determinedly.
Suddenly, they heard a noise and both Elena, Liz and the two deputies looked over to see the door close by itself.
"What was that?" One of the deputies asked, fearfully.
Liz rounded on Elena. "Who else is with you?" She asked, sharply. She looked around. "Aliyah, I know you're there."
Suddenly, her eyes widened when two, not one, blurs ferociously murdered the two deputies, both of their bodies falling to the ground as blood was smeared across their throats, a telltale sign that the two mysterious vampires had bitten them.
Caroline looked at Aliyah, nervously, in the darkness and Aliyah gave her a reassuring nod. Caroline bit her lip and stepped out of the darkness, watching her mother's face transform into an expression of horror as she caught sigh of her only daughter's mouth smeared with blood.
"Hi, mom." Caroline said, sheepishly.
Damon and Stefan were now awake. Damon was feeding on the deputy that Aliyah had taken out and when he had finished, he checked on Stefan, who was being assisted by Elena. Caroline and Aliyah were crouched in front of the cellar door, Aliyah's hand firmly on Caroline's shoulder as a steadfast presence, the presence of her sire soothing to Caroline as her breathing slowed. Caroline's hand came to cover Aliyah's, tightening around it, as she watched in anxiety for her mother's reaction to Caroline's stunning revelation.
"Everything's going to be fine, pretty girl." Aliyah said in a hushed whisper. "I am here. I will always be here."
Caroline nodded, stiffly, feeling her shoulders relax as Aliyah's reassurance washed over her.
Damon looked over at Stefan. "You need to drink some deputy blood."
Stefan shook his head, weakly. "No. I'm gonna be fine. It's just gonna take a little bit longer."
"Damon's right, you know. If there's ever time to break your diet…" Caroline said, hesitantly. She grimaced. "Ugh, I can't believe I just said that." She muttered.
"He said he didn't want it, okay?" Elena said, sharply.
"Elena, I know that these words don't exactly feature in your vocabulary – and especially together and in a sentence – but mind your own business and watch your tone before my bloodlust makes me tear your throat out." Aliyah said, coldly, her eyes narrowing at the human girl who had just too much of a mouth on her, in her opinion.
Damon turned to Liz, a calculating look forming on his face. "This is a most unfortunate situation. Two deputies dead and you." His eyes hardened. "What am I gonna do with you?"
"You won't tell anyone, will you?" Caroline asked, worriedly. Liz remained silent, still staring off into space. "Mom? Mom? Please." She begged, biting her lower lip as tears came to her eyes. "Look, I know that we don't get along and that you hate me, but I'm your daughter and you'll do this for me, right?" She whispered in horror, her hands tightening on Aliyah's as she started to shake. "Mom, please. He will kill you." She murmured, remembering the cold sociopath who had abused her so much when she was human.
"Then, kill me." Liz murmured.
"No!" Caroline cried out.
Aliyah shook her head and jumped to her feet, making sure her hand was still linked with Caroline's for comfort. "You don't know what you're saying." She said, sharply, to Liz.
Liz looked at her, pleadingly. "I can't take this. Kill me now."
"But you were gonna drag it out so painfully." Damon said, mockingly, and caught her by the arms, pinning her against the wall.
"No, no, no, no, no, no, no!" Caroline sobbed out.
"Damon, don't!" Stefan exclaimed.
"Damon, please!" Elena cried out.
"Damon, I'm going to say this once and only once. If you attempt to hurt her, I can assure you, you will be dead before you hit the ground." Aliyah said, threateningly.
Damon rolled his eyes. "Relax, guys. No one is killing anybody." He looked at Liz, searchingly. "You're my friend." He said, sincerely. He looked over at the deputies. "We've got to clean this up."
Caroline and Bonnie arrived at the Salvatore Boarding House, Caroline clutching a suitcase full of clothes and Bonnie holding onto her hand, both of them wearing completely blank expressions. Bonnie had managed to drag herself from Tyler's warm arms and throw herself into his shower, letting the water wash off the remnants of their lovemaking from her flushed and sore body, when she had received the call from Aliyah about what had happened at the picnic.
She had rushed over to the Forbes' house, meeting a melancholy and crushed Caroline on the porch, only beaten further by the fact she had not been able to get into her house. Bonnie had pursed her lips, brushed Caroline's arm with her hand in comfort and proceeded into the unlocked house, gathering the clothes for Liz on Caroline's behalf. And then, Caroline and Bonnie had gone over to the Salvatore Boarding House, to meet up with Aliyah.
"Hey," Caroline bit her lip, as she looked at Elena in the doorway. "Sorry that took forever. I just didn't know how long my mom was gonna be here." She murmured.
Elena shrugged, nonchalantly, her eyes narrowing at Caroline in a way that made Bonnie tremble with anger. "Damon says it'll take three days tops for the vervain to leave her system. Maybe even sooner."
Stefan walked up to them, joining Elena.
Caroline regarded him, carefully. "You get some bunny in you?"
"Yeah, I'm feeling much better, thank you." Stefan murmured, allowing them to come inside.
Damon and Aliyah stood in one of the cells in the basement, watching Liz on the phone.
"A stomach bug. Yeah, it came on fast. I'll definitely be out tomorrow." She looked at Damon and Aliyah, who shook their heads. "Or longer." She corrected. "I'll text you. Yeah. Good night."
Liz hung up the phone and handed it over to Damon.
"Thank you. It's not exactly the Ritz, but it's secure. Brought you a good thread count. And once the vervain is worked out of your system, one of us will compel you, you will forget everything and you will be a free woman." Damon explained.
Aliyah pursed her lips, hearing Caroline, Bonnie, Stefan and Elena arrive just outside the door to the cell.
"Can you keep Caroline far away from me, please? I don't want to see her." Liz said, coldly.
Aliyah closed her eyes, hearing Caroline hitch in a sharp breath and the rustle of clothes as Bonnie wrapped her arms around her.
"She's your daughter, Liz." Aliyah said, sharply.
"Not anymore. My daughter's gone." Liz shook her head.
Aliyah looked at Caroline and then at Liz. "Would you rather she died?" She whispered, horrified. "You have no idea what you are saying, Liz." She hissed. "Take it from someone who has endured that kind of pain, who knows what that means… You don't know what you're saying." She said, coldly. "She's still here, the Caroline that you raised, that you brought up. She's right here and if you don't understand that, then it's your loss and not hers, because she deserved better from the beginning."
Liz determinedly looked away from her and Aliyah growled low in her throat, disbelief echoing from every single word. She spun on her feet and stormed out of the cellar, grabbing Caroline and Bonnie by the wrists and dragging them away, completely sure that Elena and Stefan were hot on their heels.
"Caroline, Bonnie, we're leaving." Aliyah said, sharply. "In three days, the vervain will be out of your mother's system, Damon will compel her to forget everything she learnt about us and you and I think that's pretty much everything." Aliyah spun around to face Caroline and Bonnie, her eyes hard.
"Except for the fact that Caroline's been spying on Stefan and I for Katherine." Elena raised an eyebrow, making Caroline stop in her tracks, a fearful look forming on her face. "Right?" She said, challengingly, as if asking Caroline to deny the accusation.
Caroline blinked and Bonnie's hand tightened around Caroline's, her eyes going flinty as she wondered what exactly Elena was about to say to Caroline.
"How could you do that to me and Stefan, Caroline?" Elena asked, hurt. "I mean, especially after he's been such a friend to you." She shook her head.
"Don't, Elena." Bonnie said, warningly, her eyes hardening.
"What?" Elena looked at Bonnie, confused. "I'm not allowed to be angry that Caroline's been sabotaging my relationship on purpose."
Bonnie rolled her eyes. Trust Elena Gilbert's ability to make everything that happened today about her.
"No, but you're supposed to choose a better time to bring it up with her." Bonnie said, coldly. "You're not supposed to pick a fight with her moments after her mother practically disowns her." She said, incredulously.
"Bonnie, I understand that Katherine's terrifying, but she could have at least told me what was happening. We could've protected her." Elena protested.
"Oh, yes," Bonnie began, sarcastically. "Because you three have been so good at protecting yourself from Katherine this past week, right? I mean, it's not like Katherine hasn't attacked all of you and thoroughly beat the crap out of both Stefan and Damon."
"Look, I'm not trying to be mean here." Elena murmured. "I just… want to understand why she would do something like this. I tried to put myself in her position, so I thought that Katherine probably threatened someone she cared about, but she didn't have to keep it a secret like this. She didn't have to do what Katherine told her." She said, desperately.
"What else was she supposed to do, Elena?" Bonnie said, incredulously. "Katherine didn't exactly give her the go ahead to tell you what she was planning. Was she supposed to die so that she could preserve yours and Stefan's relationship? Do you realise how selfish that makes you? How self-absorbed?" She laughed, harshly. "You know, I've spent this entire time defending you to Aliyah, but she was right all along. You don't care what happens to us as long as your precious Salvatore brothers are alright."
"Hey, watch it, Witchy." Damon interjected, walking out of the cellar and glaring at her, fiercely.
Bonnie narrowed her eyes. "You really don't want to piss me off right now." She hissed. She rounded on Elena, whose eyes remained wide and her face pale. "Katherine stabbed your boyfriend with a crowbar, she all but declared war on us. She has absolutely no problem picking us all off one by one and you think you're the only one affected by that?" She snapped. "It's not Caroline's fault!"
"Bonnie, I understand-" Stefan began, soothingly.
"Shut up!" Bonnie shrieked. She bared her teeth at Elena, her fists clenched at her hips. "I can't believe you, Elena. How can you blame Caroline for this? Are you honestly trying to say that if Katherine threatened to kill you if you didn't feed her information, you wouldn't do it? Especially if the only consequence was your friend breaking up with her boyfriend? Caroline's your best friend. You should be taking her side in all of this. She was scared and she did what she thought was the only option for her. How can you not understand that?" She shook her head in disbelief. "But why am I not surprised? Ever since the Salvatores came to town, you've really proven how much your friends matter to you in the long run." She said, disgusted.
She spun on her feet and marched over to a shocked Aliyah and Caroline, grabbing both of them by the arm and dragging them, forcefully, to the door, pushing them out herself before she slammed the door behind her.
"She hates me." Caroline whispered, her face nestled into Aliyah's stomach.
"She… just doesn't understand, Caroline." Aliyah sighed.
"No, she hates me." Caroline sobbed out. "My mom hates me because I'm a vampire and she hates vampires. Ergo, she hates me."
"Then she didn't deserve you in the first place." Aliyah said, adamantly, her fingers stroking through Caroline's blonde waves. "She didn't, Caroline." She tipped Caroline's head up so that the young girl could see for herself just how earnest she was being.
"But, she's my mom." Caroline sobbed out, the tears falling freely down her porcelain cheeks, onto her skin. "She's supposed to love me, no matter what. How can she just hate me?"
"Because sometimes parents don't put their children above their hatred." Aliyah said, quietly, her fingers never ceasing in stroking through Caroline's hair. "Sometimes, children have to rise beyond their parents' hatred and believe in who they are, even if their parents couldn't."
"How do you do it?" Caroline whispered, looking up at her with broken, blue eyes. "How do you go on, knowing that your mother hated you for what you are?"
"Sometimes I feel sick inside." Aliyah confessed. "Sometimes, I feel like searching for the last white oak stake and driving it into my heart, because sometimes the pain is just so much. But, then, do you know what I do?" She asked, soothingly.
"What?" Caroline whispered.
"I remember everyone that loves me for who I am. Niklaus, Elijah, Kol, Rebekah, Finn, you and Bonnie, all of vampires that I have turned." Aliyah let out a deep breath. "I have people in my life that love me for being the person that my mother could not love, and that takes away some of the pain." Aliyah murmured.
"My heart's breaking, Aliyah." Caroline trembled in Aliyah's arms, and her hands tightened her grip on Caroline's shaking body.
"I know, pretty girl. I know."
"How's Caroline?" Aliyah spun around once she had closed Caroline's bedroom door, hearing Bonnie's voice call out from the other end of the corridor.
Aliyah rocked back on her heels and her tongue ran over her lips. She smiled and walked over to Bonnie, wrapping her arm around the shoulders of the young witch and leading her back into her bedroom.
"She's… upset… naturally," Aliyah drawled. "I think we both know what it feels like to have parents turn their backs on us, don't we?"
She looked at Bonnie with that familiar wrenching pain in her black eyes that took the words right out of Bonnie's mouth and left her breathless.
"Yeah," Bonnie chuckled, harshly. "I guess we do." She murmured. She cleared her throat and let out a deep breath. "How's Caroline taking it?" She asked, quietly, peeking nervously at the closed door of her bedroom.
"She's not taking it well." Aliyah whispered. "Liz… turned her back on her only daughter… and Caroline's heart is broken." She whispered.
"Maybe… maybe we could talk… to Sheriff Forbes. I mean…" Bonnie trailed off. "Caroline's still her daughter, right?"
"Yes, well, sometimes hatred overwhelms love, darling." Aliyah said, quietly. "My mother was the same." She blinked and swallowed. "Unfortunately." She breathed.
"She has us." Bonnie said, slowly and deliberately, determination coloured every inflection of every word she spoke. "We're her family now. If Liz Forbes doesn't want her, it doesn't matter, because she has you and me and we'll always be there for her." She said, grimly, resting her head on Aliyah's shoulder, feeling Aliyah's hand come to stroke through her dark waves.
Aliyah felt the side of her lip quirk up in a crooked smile. "You're right," She murmured. "She does have us." She turned her head, slightly, looking down at Bonnie's sweet face with curious black eyes. "You okay, Bonnie girl?"
Bonnie licked her lips and shifted, so that her head was resting on Aliyah's collarbone, so that she could feel the warmth and scent of her skin bleed through her.
"Do you remember around the time when we first met and I told you about what Damon did to Caroline?" Bonnie asked, quietly, swallowing past the thickness in her throat. "You remember that Caroline talked to me every day while I was with you? You remember how upset I was because I was so scared that I hadn't been a good friend to her? That I had… taken her for granted or I should've done something to protect her from Damon… anything!" She spat, feeling furious at herself.
"Bonnie-" Aliyah sighed.
"No," Bonnie shook her head, determinedly. "I made myself a promise then and there, that I would be a better friend to Caroline. She deserves it." She sniffled, blinking away tears. "She deserves so much more than she gets. She didn't deserve to get turned into a vampire by some revenge-seeking bitch out to save her own skin. She didn't deserve to get abused and raped by some psychotic vampire trying to get back at his brother. And she didn't deserve to be abandoned by her mother during one of the most hardest times of her life." She dragged her teeth over her lower lip, biting into the soft flesh. "So, I have to be here for her now. So what if her mother doesn't want her. She has me and she has you and we're her family now. She doesn't need anyone else."
Bonnie spoke with such adamant resolve that Aliyah's arms tightened around her slim frame and she felt Aliyah place a fleeting kiss on her temple. Bonnie felt herself burrow into Aliyah's embrace, her soft, warm skin soothing her in a way that she imagined only family could. Her grandmother could do this with just one hug and it seemed that Aliyah had the magic touch as well.
She wondered if it were a Bennett thing.
Or maybe it was just the women that she loved dearly that were capable of soothing her with one touch.
"I got so angry at Elena today." Bonnie shook her head. "I feel like it's been a long time coming, Aliyah." She confessed. "Like it's just been building in me more and more since Grams died and I just exploded." She sighed. "Maybe Elena didn't mean it like that. But she was just accusing Caroline… as if it were her fault that Katherine went after her." She said, coldly.
"You were defending your best friend, Bonnie." Aliyah pointed out, softly.
"I just… I have to be there for Caroline, she gets hurt easily… and for you. I don't have anyone else." Bonnie said, desperately, looking up at her with shining green eyes.
"I'm so proud of you, Bonnie girl." Aliyah whispered. "I know how hard this has been for you. You've hard to go against every instinct in you to continue being friends with Caroline and I'm so proud you've overcome that. I'm so sorry if I've been preoccupied with Caroline since she was turned," Bonnie waved her off, shaking her head. "No, Bonnie. You are my family. You are my niece and I will always be here for you. No matter what. Always and forever." She hummed, smoothing Bonnie's hair away from her face.
"So, why don't you tell me how your day was?" Aliyah asked, slowly. "You spent it with Tyler, didn't you? Because he and you were the only ones who weren't at the Volunteer Day today. So, that led me to believe that the two of you were spending the day together."
Bonnie blushed and ducked her head down, remembering the events of the day. She brushed her head back, shifting slightly out of Aliyah's embrace. Aliyah watched this happen with interest and she raised an eyebrow, a small smile curling on her lips.
"Now, if that isn't the dodgiest look you have ever given me, I don't know what is." Aliyah said, dryly, and nudged Bonnie, lightly, in the side.
Bonnie bit her lip as a smile worked its way onto her face. "We… uh, we…" She licked her lips. "We had sex."
Aliyah blinked and grinned. "Now, why were you so nervous to tell me that?" She asked, curiously.
"I don't know," Bonnie shrugged. "Guess I'm just not that used to telling people about things like that. I never actually told anyone that Tyler and I slept together a couple of years back." She murmured. She looked up at Aliyah with soft, olive-green eyes. "I guess I just feel really comfortable around you." She said, sweetly.
Aliyah's reply was nothing more than a grateful, affectionate squeeze of her shoulders.
"So, how was it?" Aliyah asked, cheekily, waggling her eyebrows.
"It was…" Bonnie bit her lip. "It was freaking amazing." She confessed, her face lighting up with a nervous smile. "I swear, it was the hands-down best day of my life." Her voice quietened. "I don't think I've ever felt that way around anyone except Tyler." Bonnie murmured.
"It just felt right. Like nothing could touch us in that moment."
Aliyah hummed in agreement, her eyes turning wistful. "Yeah, that sounds about right."
971 AD, Mystic Falls
"We are risking many rumours if you spend the night with me." Aliyah pointed out, stoking the fire with her poker.
Niklaus sighed and sank down in a crouch beside her, in front of the fire. "My mother asked me to be spend the night with you. For protection." He waggled his eyebrows. His eyes turned hard and his lips set in a line, his jaw clenched. "I will protect you." He said, seriously. "You are… my lover. It wouldn't do well for me to let you stay alone while your mother is off at another village." He said, pointedly.
Aliyah sighed and ran her hand through her black curls. "I am a witch." She pointed out.
She touched him on the arm and he could feel her magic tingling his skin, setting his blood on fire with the strength of her magic.
"And I have the seen the way some of the boys and men in this village look at you. They want you and you belong to me." Niklaus growled, pure jealousy glinting in his eyes. "I cannot take the chance that they will not attempt to sneak into your home and attempt to harm you. I simply voiced my concerns to my mother. She spoke to my father and they both agreed that I would stand as your protector for the night."
Aliyah nodded to herself and jumped to her feet. "What you are trying to say is that your parents allowed you, a strapping, virile young man, to remain in a girl's home, overnight, alone, for protection?" She asked, incredulously, her lips twitching with amusement.
Niklaus grinned and leaned back onto the sheepskin underneath him. "Well, my parents are under the impression that I see you as nothing more than a sister." He smirked. His eyes raked down her body. "If only they knew what I dreamed of doing to you." He growled, his eyes darkening to a stormy blue.
"Niklaus." Aliyah chided, gently.
Despite her scolding, there was a small smile on her face, one that told him that those dreams he had been having about her went both ways. Aliyah clutched the sides of her dress, which parted in the middle, showing him slivers of sun-kissed skin to his hungry eyes, demurely, tying it up, haphazardly, at the front. She walked around the other side of the fire, her head held up high, as if she hadn't been thinking scandalous thoughts about him and her, and joined him, lying down on the sheepskin beside him. Her head was propped up by his strong bicep and she turned her head, slightly, to look up at him with wide, black eyes.
"This is nice." Aliyah said, suddenly. "We never have time away from everyone in this way." She murmured.
Niklaus stroked his hand through her hair, his fingers entwining in her soft curls. He imagined this was what the clouds in the sky felt like.
"Just a while longer, hellcat." Niklaus whispered in her ear, his shoulder-length hair tickling her soft cheek. "Soon, I will tell my mother and father, and your mother, that I am mad for you and we will be married. I give you my word that I will make you mine in the eyes of the Gods and the spirits you speak to and everyone else in the village. I just require more time." He said, earnestly.
"You will be my wife." He swore.
Aliyah's hand slid into his hair, her long nails scraping against the nape of his neck. "I know you will not forsake me." She said, sincerely. "I love you and you love me and that is the truest thing I know." She hummed.
Niklaus' brow furrowed and his eyes softened, his face etched with every inch of his adoration for her. He leaned down and slanted his mouth over hers, his calloused hand cupping her jaw, his thumb stroking over her cheekbone. His stubble tickled her skin in a way that made her burn for him, her fingers itching to wrap around solid muscle and feel the weight of a strong man pressed up against her.
Her arms slid across the linen of his shirt, stroking against his muscled back. Her hands, unconscientiously, slid under the thin material of his shirt to glide against his back, her nails raking down the ripples of smooth muscles she could feel under her fingertips. As he settled on top of her, the heat from their bodies made her gasp for breath against his mouth, the palm of his hands sliding over her dress to splay across her stomach and spanning the length of her ribcage. Her dress was simply made of cotton and she had passed up on the choice to wear a shift underneath, particularly in heat of the night outside, and she could feel the burn of his hand right through, leaving her skin prickling.
"Am I overstepping?" He asked, curiously, his hair tickling the curve of his neck.
Aliyah bit her lip and spread her legs slightly, allowing him to slot his hips against hers. At Niklaus' questioning look, Aliyah curled her fingers around his wrist and slid it up her body, making sure his fingers grazed the laces that she had tied loosely of her dress. Niklaus rested his forehead against hers, his cornflower blue eyes searching her black ones until he was sure this was what she wanted. While one of his hands worked on the laces on the front of her dress, the other hand trailed all across her body, Aliyah shuddering with every touch of his fingers on her skin, through the dress or not.
She couldn't describe the feeling of his skin on hers. All she could feel was the deep pull of longing tugging at her nerves and the growing realisation that there was nothing wrong or iniquitous about giving herself over to the man she loved more than anything in the world. Aliyah chewed on her lower lip, watching as Niklaus' heavy gaze settled on every single glimpse of honey-coloured, soft skin that was awarded to him by his ministrations on her dress.
His touch was firm yet questioning when he finally cupped one of his breasts in his large hand, her breath catching in her throat. Aliyah whimpered out some unintelligible sound and looked down to see the tightening buds of her nipples showing through the thin cotton of her dress. She tucked her curls behind her ear and she shifted underneath him, feeling something prod her in the hip. She reached down between them, tugging at the laces of his breeches with confidence that awed him (even she had replicated the action in their previous activities). And his hips jerked, involuntarily, as a soft, warm, decisive hand closed around his cock.
"Hellcat," Niklaus said, warningly, his dark blue eyes boring into hers. "You may regret this."
Aliyah's teeth sank into her lower lip and she pouted up at him, looking the very picture of wantonness, before she finally smiled, wickedly, knowing exactly what choice she was making. Her index finger stroked down the length of his cheek. She propped her body up on her elbows, Niklaus' eyes drawn to the slices of skin that were revealed by her dress parting in the middle, the curve of her breasts showing very clearly.
"I very much doubt that." She said, gently, patting him on the cheek, almost condescendingly.
Niklaus growled low in her throat, and the sound sent a low ache directly to her stomach, her cunt throbbing pointedly and pleasantly.
"Are you truly certain about this, Liya?" Niklaus asked, seriously, his voice not wavering the slightest. "This is a point from which we cannot return."
Aliyah propped herself up on her elbows, making Niklaus lean back so that he was kneeling in front of her. She bit her lip, never taking her eyes off his as she finished undoing the laces of her dress. She swallowed hard, the blush rising in her cheeks as she parted her dress in the middle and slid it off her shoulders, leaving her completely naked in his arms as she leaned back down on the sheepskin.
She felt slightly self-conscious in front of him now. This was not the first time that Niklaus and her had engaged in activities such as this, except they had never ventured into the territory that was Niklaus taking her maidenhead. But she flushed, hotly, nonetheless, under his intense stare, shielding her breasts with her arms. She didn't even know why she felt shy around him, when he had seen her with her head thrown back and legs splayed, his fingers fierce and clever inside her. But Niklaus pulled her arms away, pinning them to her side with a shake of his head.
"You are beautiful." Niklaus kissed her hard on the mouth, staring down at her naked body, toned but still softer and fuller in a way that he found exquisite. "And absolutely enchanting. You are everything in this world – the sun, the moon and the stars. I cannot imagine my life without you in it. If I lost you, I would die the next minute."
The fierceness of his words made her tremble.
Niklaus stared at her with unimaginable arousal and wonder as he looked upon her bare form.
"Aliyah, I-" He stammered, his eyes doing nothing but raking over her bare skin.
"Hush, sweetling." Aliyah crooned. "Make love to me." She murmured.
Just as the words spilt from her lips, she felt Niklaus' hands sliding up her stomach to cup her full and lush breasts in his calloused palms. He watched in pride as Aliyah's breath caught in her throat and her nipples hardened under his fingers. She pressed herself, insistently, into his hands and her fingers clutched into the fur beneath them, her nails digging into the wool. She instinctively undulated her hips against his, feeling the hardened length of his cock jut against the damp, wet flesh between her thighs.
Niklaus' hands fell to curve around her jaw and his mouth descended onto hers, hungry and wild, his tongue thrusting, wantonly, into her mouth, delving into the taste that was uniquely Aliyah. He muffled every single cry of pleasure as his fingers stroked the curves of her breasts, thumbing her hardened nipples, which were in painful buds. Aliyah's thighs rubbed together, and she blushed feeling the slickness between her legs echo around the hut, much to her shame. Her long, smooth legs, the colour of sweet honey, wrapped around her waist, desperate for some sort of friction from him.
But Niklaus was determined not to relieve the ache inside of her, each growl into her mouth and every tug of her nipples doing nothing but increasing the throbbing inside of her. Aliyah pursed her lips and her hand slid underneath the soft linen of his shirt so that her palms fell onto the ripples of muscles on his abdomen. Her nails scraping against his skin and she could feel her arousal grow knowing that she had a big, strong warrior in her bed with her. Her fingers tugged at the hem of his shirt and Niklaus pulled away, briefly, to pull it up over his head and throw it aside. When he came back down, she raised her hips and rocked her cunt against his defined abdomen, somewhat easing the throbbing in her clit and wetting his skin with her slickness.
Her hands curled around his neck, her finger stroking his well-defined jaw. One of his hands slid up the silk of her inner thighs, while the other remained palming her breasts, the roughness of the callouses on his fingertips working wonders on her sensitive skin.
For a moment, she marvelled at the transformation from the sweet boy who used to chase her through the fields to the man with calloused hands, skilful lips and tongue, and strong and sinewy body that left her drowning in ecstasy with every graze of his fingertips on her very willing body.
The hand on her inner thigh slides up, while Niklaus smiles a devilish smile down at her, until he is stroking that one place between her thighs that has her gushing around his fingers with her wetness. His thumb moved, insistently, on her sensitive, soaking flesh and Aliyah whimpered into Niklaus' mouth. He pulled his mouth away from hers and pressed a soft, sweet kiss to the indent in her collarbone.
"Hush, my love." Niklaus crooned low in her ear, the heat of the flame beside them only bracing their experience. "We do not want anyone to hear us."
They shared a shy yet mischievous smile.
His lips swooped down and crushed against hers, teeth clashing and tongues grazing, swallowing her scream as skilful fingers slid deep inside of her, her body already accustomed to Niklaus' intrusion. His fingers stroked the place deep within her that had her thighs shaking in unparalleled form.
Her hips jerked against his hand with every single thrust of his fingers into her body and the screams and moans and shrieks fell from her mouth just as easily as the pleasure coursed through her body, setting every single nerve ending on fire. Her vision dimmed and brightened in equal intensity and she feared if she took another breath, everything would over, a growing pressure burning low in her stomach. All she could feel was the growing dizziness in her head that made it hard to focus on anything except for the slick sound of Niklaus' fingers stroking her cunt in all the right places, his hands on her breasts and his mouth on hers.
Niklaus' mouth moved down her neck, allowing her to finally gulp in air, sucking marks onto her flesh in places where they were both sure would be hidden by the neckline of her dress. In fact, in the years they had been courting and keeping their relationship secret from everyone but for Kol and Aliyah suspected Esther, they had become quite proficient from hiding bite marks and bruises from their torrid necking from interested eyes.
His fingers stroked at her insides, her thighs tightening and widening. Her pleasure was mounted low in her stomach, the fire in her belly being tended to by every stroke of his fingers into her cunt. And finally, she tipped over the edge, her back arching into a point, her toes curling against the wool beneath them, her muscles convulsing. She was left shaking in Niklaus' arms as she frantically tried to catch her breath. Her thighs were slick and raw, as if a single touch wound send the spasms rocking through her body all over again.
She rolled her hips against his once her heartbeat calmed and she felt him hard against the slopes of her thighs.
"Liya." Niklaus growled, his teeth gritting.
"Nik." Aliyah crooned against his mouth, using the nickname she only saved for moments she was particularly in love with him or particularly furious at him.
Her fingers crept up his neck to cradle his jaw.
This was absolute, all-encompassing love. She knew it at this moment, her dark, almost black eyes staring up at his cobalt blue ones. This would never change for them. She would never feel whole with anyone else the way she did when he was on top of her, his arms around her, ready to move inside her as if he owned her – which in most aspects, he did. The look in his eyes was so intense, so wild and so hungry that it seemed as though he would have her in the middle of a storm if he could.
"Gods help me; I need to be inside you now." Niklaus mouthed at her bare shoulder, his teeth barely grazing her skin, her hands weaving into his hair, untying all of his braids and rubbing the silky strands between her fingers. "But you deserve-you deserve better, hellcat. This is-this is dishonour. I would not shame you. We should do this better."
Aliyah lifted her face to meet his, her nose grazing his cheekbone. "I want this, sweetling. Niklaus," She said, sternly, seeing him turn his face away from her. "I have never wanted anything more than for you to make love to me. You are the only man that I would allow inside me. I will never feel whole without you inside me." She said, earnestly. "You once told me we belong together, Niklaus. If that is true, then there could be nothing better than this night."
Aliyah swallowed hard, feeling his cock pressing right between her thighs, the persistent ache starting to throb all over again. His firm body pressed against hers in all of the right ways and she spread her legs, her body tensing, strung taut, as she realised what she was about to do.
This was her crossroads. The time where she chose what she wanted. Niklaus deserved to make love to a woman who was completely his, with no doubts.
A sudden panic plunged through her. "Nik, I-I…" Aliyah stammered .
Niklaus frowned and pulled away, his face transforming into a picture of worry. "Would you like me to stop? I will not force you into this, Liya." He said, firmly. "It is your choice and yours only."
Aliyah shook her head, determinedly. This was her choice. Pain, let there be pain. She had made her resolution when she was a girl of fifteen summers only. Niklaus was her choice. She knew even as a little girl she would inevitably find herself in the arms of a Mikaelson boy and there was always a thought in the back of her mind that it would be Niklaus that would be her husband.
This was perfect and this was right. No one could take this moment away from them.
Niklaus was still above her, a disconcerting, almost awkward heat between them as he watched her carefully.
He called her everything.
Niklaus looked down at her, his body tense as he awaited her choice. He loved this woman beneath him. He loved her more than reason demanded. The second she walked into seeing distance, his eyes searched for her, able to pick her out of her crowd. He lived for the moments where she would smile at him or her dark eyes, like gemstones, would fall upon him. His heart ached when she turned away from him and his fingers trembled before they touched her softer than silk skin.
He existed as nothing more than a man, trembling with need and love for the woman he loved.
Aliyah bit her lip and her fingers slid down the expanse of his chest until they fell onto the waistband of his trousers. She hooked her fingers in his breeches and shoved it down his legs, her feet assisting with that, leaving his legs free to slid against hers, naked, the heat from his body sending her body and mind into spirals of overwhelming dizziness.
Niklaus swallowed hard, looking down at her. His hand caught one of her wrists and pulled it up to lay one burning, meaningful kiss on the underside of her wrist, his nose brushing her pulse point.
He was determined to leave her with one significant gesture of how much he loved her before he had her in this way.
He looked down at her. Aliyah, naked and striking beneath him, looking up at him with sweet, loving black, black eyes, her lips dark red from his kisses, her hair mussed from sex and her eyes hooded and wanting. Curls tangled, eyes wanton, breasts full and lush. Perfect and belonging to him.
Niklaus anchored his hips between her thighs, as if they were sanctuary, and her legs came around his waist, her hands sliding to splay across the muscled curve of his back. Her hands curled around his neck, her finger stroking at the curve of her jaw. Her heart was pressed against his and he could hear two glorious heartbeats in sync, his arms tightening around hers. His hands settled on the insides of her thighs, spreading them wide. With a great deal of care, he pressed himself inside of her.
Her lips parted and a strangled sound of pain tore itself from her throat as the unpleasant ache, almost to the point of pain, registered in her mind. Her nails dug into his shoulders, leaving crescent-shaped indents in his skin, almost to the point of drawing blood.
But Niklaus leaned down and kissed her hard on the mouth, trying to distract her, his hands pressing onto the sheepskin beside her head, his fingers twisting in the curls that were splayed beneath them. He murmured quietly in her ear, calling her Liya and hellcatand apologising for the pain so sweetly – I'm so sorry, Liya, just breathe through it, it will pass – and swearing up and down to the Gods that he loved her more than anything.
His breathing heightened, his arms on either side of her head shaking slightly as the tension in his muscles became taut. But he remained still, hardly moving a muscle (until she said he could, since he would never do anything unless she gave him her consent) as she wrapped her arms around him and pulled her against him, burying her face in his shoulder, her nails digging into his back.
"Niklaus." Aliyah whimpered, her voice tremulous, tears dampening her eyes.
Niklaus' head dipped down to kiss her pulse-point. "The pain will pass, my love. Be calm."
Aliyah reared up and kissed him hard on the mouth, whispering against his lips for him to move. His hips nudged further between her thighs. It was a strange sort of pain, one she had not felt even with his fingers inside her, a searing ache low in her stomach, as if her skin was being pulled across rocks. She was wet between her legs, but it was as if it wasn't enough, that she needed to be more slick – otherwise, it mirrored the sensation of her skin being scraped, and she understood why women bled the first time they were taken (not that it was an unbearable pain and she didn't think she would bleed all that much after everything she and Niklaus had done before this one act – he had stretched her enough and made her wet enough that the ache would pass).
Niklaus' lips slanted over hers, confidently, the kiss staggering her with its intensity. His mouth and the feel of him on top of him, hard and uncompromising was enough to sooth her to the point where the ache could be ignored. Niklaus' hand trailed down the length of her body to the place where her cunt was pressing against the base of his cock. The touch of his fingers stroking against her clit made her jerk against his body, her hips undulating as his thrusts became more insistent.
"There we go." Niklaus's hands tightening on her hips to the point of such pleasurable pain.
She moaned his name quietly in his ear, her hands splaying across the length of his spine, Niklaus mouthing at her collarbone. Somehow, the ache gradually faded and she was left with the sweet sensation of him inside her, which she thought, made her feel as whole as she had ever been. Anything she and Niklaus had done before, any way she had ever touched him or had ever been touched by him, paled in comparison to this feeling of entirety – it was everything.
It felt like absolute bliss for Niklaus. To be surrounded by her soft, wet flesh, it was as if this were his home and there would be no other place he would rather be. It was sex and warmth and bliss and pleasure to be in her arms this way. It was the slice of happiness that was awarded to them in the midst of secrets and stolen touches in the woods away from prying eyes. If he could have this – this emotion, this sensation, this completion – every moment of his life, it would be everything.
Aliyah felt Niklaus' hands fall to her hips, his fingers slotting perfectly against the hollows of her pelvic bone. She finally began to grind with urgency, lifting herself off of him and pressing her hands against his ribs for momentum, feeling that overwhelming warmth start to form low in her stomach. And his hands were now exactly where she needed them, pressing against the throbbing place between her thighs, sliding between flesh and hot, wet silk, the hut filled with Niklaus' low groans, Aliyah's breathy little screams and the sound of wet flesh.
His hands were everywhere, urgent and touching every inch of skin he could find, and all she could do was be swept away in what he was giving her, which she did gleefully. It was as if someone had cracked open every stitch of her body, letting her insides, everything that made her who she was spill into the earth beneath them. At the end of her days, she would dream of the clarity of the moment, of his eyes on his hers, his lips on her skin, her flesh welcoming him inside, him owning her inside and out, the feeling of being joined to him so absolutely – it was something that no one could ever take from her, it would stay with her for all of eternity.
"Niklaus." She cried out, clutching at his back as it all raced through her.
"Aliyah." Niklaus growled, reverently, his lips dancing on her skin.
It was indescribable. Niklaus was thrusting and thrusting, both of them aching for that final plunge from the weight building up between them, her head thrown back, his head buried in the warm skin of her neck and her thighs trembling with the force of the pressure. And ultimately it exploded inside of them, shattering them from the inside out – a climax that none of their previous activities could ever compare to. Aliyah wailed out his name just as he thrust against her one last time, him shuddering above her as her cunt convulsed around his cock.
Her nerves danced with pleasure and her limbs seized up and her fingers grasped for something to hold onto her lips parted, red and thoroughly kissed, wide open in a mockery of a scream, as her eyes rolled back in her head. Niklaus looked down at her, still thrusting weakly as he spilled himself inside of her. The firelight illuminated her wicked sense of delight at the world, her shy kindness, her filthy promises and her sultry shamelessness. He registered golden skin, long, dark curls, the colours of the pale wool framing her body, her spread legs, her nimble fingers, the flushing of her skin in the light of the fire, her head now tilting back, her full red lips.
She was a goddess.
His goddess.
Their foreheads were pressed against each other's, both of them sweaty and panting and flushed from the heat of the fire and their activities. She kissed every inch of her face, her lips lingering on the scruff on his jaw, the stubble scratching her skin, pleasantly.
He pulled the woollen blanket over them, both of them resting their worn out bodies on the soft sheepskin, revelling in the warmth of the fire and the heat of their bodies. Niklaus wrapped his arms around Aliyah, his hands tugging her into his body, curving around her in all the ways he possibly could to keep his hands on her. His hands cupped her breasts, pert and flushed against her dark skin, and his face burrowed into her long, mussy curls, the scent of her drowning him. Aliyah snuggled into his arms, feeling his heart quicken against her temple, the soothing beat lulling her into a deep slumber, finding comfort in the telling ache and slickness between her thighs.
They fell asleep wrapped in each other as if they could not bear to be apart from one another, even in sleep they could near bear to let each other go.
A/N: Okay, so a lot of things happened in this chapter:
1. I hope you liked the way I characterised Elena in this chapter. She really got on my nerves in this chapter. I know she was definitely more caring in the ending, but I couldn't help but feel that she was making it about herself than about the fact that Katherine was threatening Caroline. And it almost felt like Elena was blaming Caroline for spying on her and I hated the fact that Bonnie wasn't in this episode, so I had Bonnie say a few things that I felt she had been keeping back. Plus, I hated that Caroline had to defend herself for doing what anyone would have done in her position, and Elena was being all magnanimous by forgiving her. And, didn't you just hate how Elena just kept snapping at Caroline throughout the episode and made it about herself when Caroline was obviously feeling awful that her mother turned her back on her?
2. So, I had the rest of the Tonnie smut in this chapter and I thought I would spice it up by mirroring it with Aliyah and Klaus' first time together when they were human. But I love writing the Tyler/Bonnie relationship. They have this typical, 21st century teenage relationship between a boy and a girl who are so obviously in love with each other, not to mention the whole werewolf-witch thing as well, and I love writing their banter.
3. I hope you liked the last scene. I am definitely proud of how the smut went and I hope you guys liked it too. I hope it was the correct combination of hot and sweet and just how amazing is Niklaus, huh? He's so in love with Aliyah, he just can't believe it. And Aliyah was pretty much desperate to have Niklaus make love to her, and she was pretty much revelling in this secret moment she gets to have with him. Unfortunately, this was before Aliyah married Elijah, so those lovebirds have a lot of problems in their future, but it was nice they got this little slice of happiness.
4. I hope you guys liked the Caroliyah and Bonliyah scenes in the end. I was kind of scared that I had put a halt on the Bonliyah after Caroline got turned, so I made sure they had a couple of scenes in this chapter to go on. Caroliyah AND Bonliyah will be strong, people.
5. I hope you guys also liked how Aliyah told off Liz. I think Aliyah would feel very protective of Caroline as a sort of vampire mother for Caroline as her sire. And Aliyah will defend her fledglings to the death. And there were some very interesting words in that conversation. I wonder if anyone will pick it up ;)
Anyway, I think that's everything I had to say.
Thank you so much for reading and don't forget to leave a review!

zara131: Thank you so much! I have been struggling to kind of boost Caroline's and Bonnie's confidence levels in this story while also staying true to the canon in season 2, so I'm glad I was able to incorporate that fight training scene. If it makes you feel better, we're almost at Rose and I've actually already written the chapters for it, so I can promise you it should be eventful. As for The Last Dance, I'm really excited for those chapters too. As for your question about Elijah, as of now, Elijah won't be making so much as a play for Aliyah because he really was genuine when he let her go, but that doesn't mean that there's no more feelings on both sides and it doesn't mean that Elijah might decide later on that he wants to fight Klaus for her, especially if he thinks Klaus doesn't deserve her anymore.
HPuni101: Thank you so much!
mrs Tall Blonde and Dead: Thank you so much!
NicoleR85: I'm so glad you liked the chapter!
Guest: Right now, everything's just in planning stages. As far as Aliyah's concerned, she doesn't want Caroline to be sacrificed and she wouldn't want Jenna to be either, but who knows what will happen when the sacrifice finally happens.
.w20: Thank you!
AshleyEvans306715: Aww, you're so sweet! I know, the last chapter was a little Original-light, only because I was kind of setting the scene for this chapter. I wanted to focus more on Tyler and Bonnie's alone time, so I could keep the stage wide open for Aliyah's flashback about her first time with Klaus, so hopefully this was satisfying!
tvtaughtmehowtofeell: Hopefully, this chapter's Tonnie was just as good as the last one. And yeah, I love writing the suspense, but I promise you, we're getting close to Klaus' actual arrival in Mystic Falls.
LadyDV011: I'm so glad!
LoveLiveLife22: Thank you so much!
slexieotpforever: Ha, I love Aliyah's threats too. They're always so graphic. Hopefully you liked my rendition of how the whole Damon and Stefan kidnapping went down. I think Aliyah would actually let Caroline take the steering wheel here, because it is her mother and it's a pretty traumatic choice she had to make, although it didn't mean that she wasn't willing to defend Caroline when she thought Elena and Liz got a bit too mouthy. And hopefully you liked the Aliyah/Caroline/Bonnie bonding in this chapter, especially since the ending was pretty emotional.
.Winchester.17: I very much doubt Elena will ever get a clue. Eight seasons it and it still doesn't seem to have occurred to her.
Emily2901: I can't wait for the Klaus/Aliyah reunion either. I imagine it'll be a tumultuous one, but we are approaching it, albeit very slowly. And I'm so glad you're enjoying the story so far!
CrystalVixen93: Thank you so much!
AndrianaWarrior7: Thank you so much, and I'm so glad you're enjoying the story so far! It's really good to know that you find Aliyah realistic, because that's what I was trying to go for. She does have her faults, but she owns them, which I think makes her a bit more well-rounded than Elena. Don't worry, I'm pretty sure it's obvious that I hate Elena too. The Original brothers are definitely my favourite characters, after Caroline and Bonnie, of course. I'm not quite sure if I'd ever get to a point in the story where it would be realistic for Enzo to enter, considering I'm not quite sure how I'll approach TVD after season 4 or so. And there probably won't be Carenzo, because I've pretty much chosen my Caroline pairing and I doubt it'll get to the point where they'd break up. As for Elijah's pairing, at this stage I haven't quite decided his endgame, but I am taking suggestions, so duly noted. I do ship Kalijah, but I am totally against Haylijah, mainly because, one, I hate her character for like a thousand different reasons (believe me, you don't want to get me started), and two, they started their romance while she was pregnant with his brother's baby, which just creeps me out. I mean, there has to be some boundaries in family, right? And I'm like 80% certain that she slept with Tyler while he was still with Caroline, so that doesn't exactly make her a better person in my books. And feel free to ramble on, you should see me ;)
Can You Take The Rain: I actually want Katherine and Aliyah to be friends again too. But in the current circumstances, I'm not quite sure if it'll happen or not. Maybe in the future. Aliyah understands why Katherine did what she did, but she's just a bit irrationally angry that one, Katherine broke Elijah's heart when she ran away and two, that Katherine didn't trust Aliyah to take care of her. Those are irrational reasons and Aliyah does understand that, but she's still not willing to let go of her anger just yet. But you never know, things may change in the future.
ChaoticMango: Thank you so much!
