Dragons and stuff

Weiss is a battle mage sort of thing but after the event she goes back to the Schnee castle and lives under lock and key before Blake co,es along and together they overthrow her father.

Ruby doesn't need to sleep cause she's a fairy and magic stuf silver eyes

Blake becomes a messiah for her people with her belief in her god especially when she is visited by Mkuu when she questions if he exists, think prince of Egypt

Jaune is a werewolf but is proficient in healing which is banned in werewolf scociety which he was kicked out of

Pyrrha is a warrior who was to slay Jaune but was injured and healed by Jaune and they became travelling companion

Everyone has Magic, even a small amount and everyone's is unique (aura) the way Weiss's works is she can summon runes if she knows them and how they work her magic can plant then around her and she uses Myrtenaster to channel her magic

They meet when they come across Jaune and a wounded Pyrrha who ask to travel with them for a while and warn a wendigo in the area to which RWBY slay, horror chapter.

Meet up on a quest to kill a feral dragon and eventually become a team through that but they discover a relic and are shoved into a world of war and death.

Qrow spies on the girls after accepting the dragon quest to report to Ozpin if they are worthy.

Weiss wants to sign up with the adventuerers guild in Vale and is in the village that's being attacked by a dragon hoping to kill it so she can gain entry.

Blake is a homeless girl who helps them defend the town and Ruby and Yang convince her to tag along with them

Weiss tries to attack he dragon while it attacks the town and Yang asks her if she wanted to destroy the whole town

They find Weiss in the library researching how to kill a dragon and point out that she's just a civilian

Weiss gets stuck with them when they find the relic and Ozpin says its the easiest way to keep track of them

"Ain't what you expected adventuring to be like?"

"I was expecting more dungeons and dragons"

"You cannot defeat me! For I am invincible!"

"Oh really? Well how come I can still see you?"

Aura is basically just natural magic that everyone posses but don't always unlock.

Dragons can sense emotions

Werewolves or lycanthropy only effects humans and Faunus because of their similar biology but Faunus turn into a were-version Of whatever animal they are

First proper quest together they need to clear a temple of Grimm and other animals and meet a deity- it could be sun and he becomes like Blake's protector cause he's a god of luck or something.

In Atlas women aren't allowed to hold positions of power hence Weiss's sort of motivation

Deities aren't gods but just powerful beings that have a certain amount of power in the human world and the more people that worship them the more power they gain.

Cinder is a deity and Emerald was a beggar who Cinder got a devout follower and using magic from Salem who saw potential in them allowed her to walk around

Grimm are actually an alien species from a different world whose purpose is to help civilizations grow Called the Njaga

Yang is the summer maiden due to her semblance being able to take damages and double it but her hair lights on fire because her maiden powers boost this

Weiss is winter for obvious reasons

Blake was protected from the draw from unknown reasons but she's actually protected by Mkuu

Ruby has silver eyes which protects her from the relics draw and makes her a great fighter which explains why she's so different then a normal fairy

Ironwood doesn't want to bring Weiss back cause he knows what awaits her but he luckily has the excuse of defending Atlas from the grimm

Weiss is a natural battlemage while Yang doesn't use her magic as much

Vacuo is a large desert and the natives tame giant creatures and build there settlements upon them to travel across the desert.

Salem is inhabiting a massive castle in the badlands between kingdoms that once housed the world council which were the people that defeated her in the first place.

The final battle is with the combined armies of the world against Salem in an ultimate battle.

When Rubŷ visits the fairy forest she finally learns of her mores demise at the hands of the cult of Salem followers. Distressed she flees into the forest and eventually collapses crying. But then a tree comforts he and she pretends it's her mother inhabiting the tree.

Zanash forest was where most fairies lived

the major religion of Faunus. We believe that when we die I shall find myself on a ship sailing to the gates to Fushal, séilchenbuch is the book Faunus wear around their necks if he does not deem us worthy then we are bound to the earth, cursed to wander underneath it for eternity

Fairies and other magic creatures love rain

Basically the deity they go to clear the temple of keeps the desert back from a town that's built on the edge in return for offerings which haven't been coming in due to the Grimm so the desert has been over taking the town.

There's an ancient Grimm the same age as Salem that is big and water based but is actually a good guy that hates Salem and demonstrates his ability to stop the Grimm attacking with his mind powers. But to gain the same level of control as Salem him and Ozpin must fuse together leaving Oscar free to become his own being.

Steampunk prosthetic arms or legs

Weiss is locked up in castle but she becomes friends with a Faunus maid Ilia and they conspire to overthrow the king.

Weiss is locked in the castle but is forced to watch as knights compete for her honour, then she recognises a set of armour but keeps her mouth shut just in case. It's Yang and she wins the competition and the whole Faunus revolution is started
