Hello, everyone. I don't know if anyone still follows this story, since I haven't updated it in more than two years (sorry about that by the way) by I hope you'll be glad to know I'm working on it again. And by working on it again, I mean I'm rewriting it and fixing a few things from when I first started writing this.
Firstly, I don't know if the new story will be on here or Archives Of Our Own. It might be on both. Once the new story is published, I'll upload it to either website and post a note here saying it's up.
A lot of the story is going to change. Here's a little trivia fact: I first started writing this story when I was thirteen and in seventh grade. I'm in high school now...A lot of people mentioned poor grammar and the paragraphs being messed up. Not gonna lie, I cringed a lot while rereading it after so long. Needless to say, my writing skills have improved since then.
Another thing that's going to change is I'm redoing a lot of the characters. Another problem people had was the strange names. Back in ye olden days of my "I have to look cool and edgy" phrase, I thought I was being cool giving them weird names, even if some of those names didn't make since. But some names are staying the same, even the ones people didn't like, such as "Moonpaw" because that whole controversy has long been debunked. Also, "Jadeclaw, Rubyshine and Obsidianeye (although I'm changing her suffix)". The point of this story is that it takes place in the distant future. The cats have more knowledge of the two-leg world, but are less spiritual, which is why Starclan is rarely mentioned and honor barely exists anymore.
Plot wise, not much will change. But I'm trying to slow down the whole bloodbath thing. A few people mentioned it in the reviews and I agree now that the pacing is kind of off. A bit too much death. So we'll slow that down some for y'all to get attacted before the characters die.
So, with that, I should probably get back to work on redoing this thing. Hopefully, the first chapter will be out by March.
