After she heard those two words her youngest son said. Mikoto felt as if time stopped for a couple minutes. Sasuke looked at her in sadness. Honestly he wished that his mother didn't have to go through this. This was something no mother should go through. She was losing not only one but both of her sons. One was already dead for almost a year while the other is dying as they speak. It took everything she had not to just bust down in tears. She could feel tears in the corner of her eyes threatening to fall.
"I...I want to cry..so bad but...I can mourn later, I have to be strong enough to hear what you have to say." She told Sasuke as she wiped her eyes. Sasuke was surprised that she held her emotions in check like that. To hear that news would make any mother sad beyond belief. But here was his mother holding it together so he could finish what he had to say. At that moment he was reminded exactly why his mother was so strong.
"I don't mind you crying honestly but if you insist then I will continue to tell you how this happened." He said. Mikoto nodded slightly.
"When Itachi died I went crazy and killed every enemy shinobi that was there. I made sure to strike fears into their hearts for what they did. I broke them mentally, emotionally and physically. After that I put Itachi's body into a sealing scroll. I continued my journey wondering why was I so weak that I couldn't move fast enough so that clone didn't grab my legs. So that Itachi wouldn't have done what he had done. I came to realize that I had to accept what had happened and couldn't continue mourning. Since Itachi wouldn't want that for me or you. I remembered what Itachi said about him wanting me to take his eyes. So I ended up traveling to a village when one of my acquaintances lived. She's very knowledgeable in medical jutsu and just medical things period. She's not as good as Tsunade but her skills were highly valued in her village. Once I got to her village and located her. I explained the situation. She transplanted our eyes. As you can see the procedure was a success. However I had to make a deal with her that if she did this then she could keep and study my eyes. Although I made it clear that if any Konoha shinobi ever found out she had them. She would give them to them with no questions asked. And if any other shinobi other than Konoha tried to take them, she would destroy the eyes. Honestly my own eyes were suffering from blindness due to overusing my sharingan. But I was still able to see somewhat decent. Good enough for battle.
I stayed there to recover and after about 2 weeks or so I was finally able to see throughout my eyes again. Time had passed since I decided to stay there for a few months. I wanted to train my new sharingan. However one day I was feeling oddly sick. It was the after the day I got scratched with a kunai while fighting off some shinobi. I asked my acquaintance to give me a check up because I felt something was wrong. The results came back and she told that I had been poisoned. It was a very deadly poison at that. She said that she could extract it but since I had it in my system for over several hours. The effects couldn't be reversed. It would only delay the inevitable. I was upset at first but I thought it over. I'm content with my fate if it means that you will be safe in the end. She extracted the poison and told me that I will only have about a few weeks to live. It took me about 2 weeks to recover enough to move properly without feeling immense pain. She told me the more I fight as a ninja, the more the effects of the poison will spread. Meaning I'll die a lot sooner. In this lifestyle we live in we could die in any given moment." Sasuke explained.
Mikoto said nothing, she felt as if she couldn't because she wouldn't be able to form words properly at the moment. This was hitting her harder and harder the more she heard Sasuke tell her what happened.
"Once I felt I could protect myself good enough. I headed for here to tell you this. However when I woke up the day I was planned to leave. My left eye had a rinnegan in it. I honestly couldn't tell you how this is even possible without the first hokage's dna. It took me about a week and a half to get here. I could've teleported by I didn't want to waste unnecessary chakra if I wasn't in battle. Plus I'm still not that proficient with the rinnegan. During my way here, I made time to try to at least figure out how to use it somewhat. I only figured out how to teleport. Although I can deactivate it and I can still use my sharingan with both eyes. Only my left will turn into the rinnegan if I choose to activate it. I wondered if my right could do the same but I figured I wouldn't even have enough time to figure it out. Now that all of the depressing news I have to tell you." Sasuke finished.
Mikoto sighed, it was so unfair that her family had to be dealt this hand in life. Yes things can happen in the world of the shinobi that's out of your control. But it still didn't ease the sadness one bit. She was beyond grateful that Kushina and Naruto were in her life now. If they weren't here, Mikoto would probably end up living in despair for the rest of her life.
"I'm sorry that you have to deal with this kaasan. You shouldn't have to at all. I hate that things had to happen this way for us. But there isn't anything we can do to change it. I was coming here to kill father if he hadn't changed his ways. There's was no way I was going to leave you by yourself to deal with that knowing I was finally strong enough to stop him for good. I'm sorry it took me this long to get this strong. I never wanted to leave you behind but I felt it would be better if you stayed here. You're the Uchiha Princess, the rightful heir to be the clan head. I wanted you to live a life of happiness before I die. I know Itachi wanted the same. We both finally wanted you to be free of being stuck with father. You deserved so much more and how much you put up with him. I'm just glad that I won't be leaving you completely alone. I trust Naruto to take care of you. Even if he has to die trying." Sasuke voiced.
"It's ok Sasuke. I understand how things work out sometimes. I hate this so much. I wish I could've said goodbye to Itachi. I wish I could've been there for you so you wouldn't have gotten poisoned. I wish I would've had to will to leave Fugaku sooner so this could've all been avoided. I'm just happy I at the least got to see you again. I'm happy that you told me about Itachi as well. I would've been wondering for years about him if you didn't come to tell me what happened. And you're right Naruto and Kushina will be there for me as I will be for them. Mikoto explained to her son.
Sasuke smiled at his mothers words. Neither one of them had said nothing for awhile. Mikoto noticed it was getting a bit late. Then she remembered that Sasuke had said something about Naruto earlier.
"Sasuke I forgot to ask. What was it about Naruto that you wanted me to know?" Mikoto questioned.
Sasuke didn't want to tell her immediately after he broke the bad news to her. He wanted her to at least gather her thoughts together. "This isn't bad news, it can honestly be looked at as good news." Sasuke said.
Mikoto waited for him to continue, she was a bit anxious as to what he was going to say.
"I want to give my sharingan to Naruto." Sasuke told her.
Now that took Mikoto for a shock. She wasn't expecting to hear that. "What? But why?"
"Because I want mine and Itachi's will to live on through Naruto. Naruto may be an idiot but he's my best friend and he's also like a brother to me. Itachi would want the same. If it was anyone in the world who I would trust with our eyes it's him. With me dying the next best choice is him. I don't want to be buried and someone ends up taking our eyes to cause trouble. Nor do I want some power hungry idiot to have them either like Orochimaru for example. Naruto would carry out our will by protecting you. It if was anyway me and Itachi could help him do so. This is the only way to help." Sasuke told Mikoto.
"I can understand your reasoning. Not that I have a problem with Naruto having the sharingan. But he wouldn't be able to use it to it's full potential since he doesn't have Uchiha blood in his veins. Sure Kakashi can use Magekyo but it took him over 10 years to even get to that point. And he can't use any of the other abilities the mangekyo holds. Not to mention the fact that Kakashi's chakra reserves aren't the biggest." Mikoto replied.
"That's where you come in. I want you to give him a blood transfusion of your blood." Sasuke voiced.
"That's not a bad idea. But it's a good chance we don't have the same blood type."
"Actually you do. I came across some information on Konoha's medical records thanks to Orochimaru's lab dog Kabuto. It seems during one of the chunin exams that happened years ago. He was able to get information on some notable Shinobi of Konoha. I found this out after encountering the two. They brought me into one of their hideouts because I told Orochimaru I would cooperate with him. In actuality, I just wanted to keep tabs on if he was plotting against Konoha. Kabuto showed me the files containing medical info on me, you, Itachi, Naruto, Kushina, Tsunade and so on. It wasn't much that they could use against us but it was information none the less. It turned out you and Naruto shared the same blood type. I ended up leaving that hideout not long after I found that out. But I didn't think of actually doing this until I got poisoned. I was just lucky that I remembered that you two had the same blood type. So if you were to give him your blood. He would be an Uchiha by blood thus giving him complete access to the sharingan. He may even be able to unlock the rinnegan in both eyes since the Uzumaki are distant blood relatives to the Senju." Sasuke said.
Mikoto thought about what her son just told her 'Could Naruto actually become an Uchiha? I mean an actually blood Uchiha. He would be an Uchiha mixed with an Uzumaki. There is no telling how high his potential would be. He's also the Jinchuuriki to the nine tailed fox. That alone speaks for itself. Naruto is already strong as he is right now. There would be no telling what he could do if this happened. He would also become my biological son just like he is with Kushina. If he can awaken the Uchiha blood that is.' She thought to herself.
"So Naruto would become my son then?" She asked.
"Yes once he awakens the Uchiha blood in his veins. He would be your actual son and husband."
"But how am I gonna give him a blood transfusion if he doesn't need blood. I doubt you can just give the human body extra blood for the hell of it without repercussions." Mikoto questioned.
"The nine tails would handle that I assume. All he has to do is lose an good amount of blood for it to fully work. So just he'll get his blood drawn. This wouldn't work at all if you didn't have the same blood type. So I'm just gonna guess his Uzumaki blood will fuse with your Uchiha blood." Sasuke voiced.
"Hmm ok but what about Naruto? What if he doesn't agree to this?" She asked.
"He will agree, he wouldn't risk my and Itachi's eyes falling into the wrong hands. I doubt he'll have to go through the normal process to awaken them either. If you teach him how to activate them. I'm sure he'll activate them without too much trouble." Sasuke said.
"If you say so Sasuke. When should this even happen?"
"Immediately, honestly I was gonna end my life after I killed father. But since I don't have to. I doubt I'll even survive the surgery. Plus I'm tired of suffering. My goal was to make sure I live long enough to make sure you would be safe. I'm glad you've found some happiness kaasan. I know it hurts but please know that I'm content with everything that has happened to me. I'm ready to join Itachi." Sasuke replied.
Mikoto just sighed once again. "I doubt even Lady Tsunade could do something now that the body has been affecting you this long. I know you're tired of suffering Sasuke so I won't be selfish and I will respect your wishes no matter how hard they make my heart ache."
Sasuke nodded. "Good now we should get you back to Naruto and his mother. It's really late and check something. I wish to have the procedure done tomorrow morning. I'll go talk to Tsunade myself while you explain everything to Naruto. I sense his chakra. He seems to be outside the village walls."
"Yeah things happened. Long story short our home is outside of the village." Mikoto said.
Sasuke and Mikoto both stood up. Sasuke put his hand on his mothers shoulder and teleported them to Naruto's location.
They appeared outside of the home. Mikoto turned towards her son and gave him a tight motherly hug. "I'm gonna miss you Sasuke...you and Itachi both. You both made me so proud to be the mother of two strong shinobi. I really wish things could've turned out differently but I'm glad I get to see you before you go." She choked out sadly.
She tighten the hug. Sasuke returned the hug just as tight. It was killing him to hear her voice sound that way. "I always love you Sasuke... you and Itachi." She croaked.
They released their hug. Sasuke leaned down and kiss her cheek. "I'll always love you too kaasan. Itachi as well." He turned around and teleported out of sight.
Mikoto watched her youngest son vanish from her eyes. The bluenette's heart tighten up as she walked into the house. Tears were on the verge of falling out of her eyes. She walked through the living room to see that Kushina and Naruto were sitting on the couch.
Kushina noticed that Mikot returned. "Welcome back Miko-chan." She said with a smile.
"How was your talk with Sasuke?" Naruto asked.
Tears had finally fallen out of her eyes. Tears that had been threatening to fall long before now. Tears that had built up behind the ones that already were ready to fall. Mikoto looked up to her two lovers. They were shocked at the sight of their fiancée. Before either one of them could ask what was wrong. They heard Mikoto voiced speak out in such a sad tone.
"I-Itachi died almost a year ago protecting Sasuke...and Sasuke...S-Sasuke is dying because...he was poisoned a couple months ago.." With that Mikoto finally broke down. Her emotions were finally being released after being strong for so long. She sobbed loudly. Tears just continuously flowing out of her eyes.
Kushina instantly ran up and caught Mikoto in a tight hug. She couldn't believe what she had just heard but that didn't matter right now. Mikoto was suffering terribly at the moment. She felt Mikoto return her hug and wailed into her shoulder. It hurt Kushina to see her best friend and lover like this. Even she had a tear of two falling out of her eyes.
Naruto felt his world go silent as he heard the bluenette's words. Itachi died? Sasuke is dying from poison? What the hell was going on? However the answers could wait. Right now Mikoto needed them. He got up and joined the hug. He didn't expect seeing Mikoto cry like this to make him feel so sad and disappointed with himself. He wanted to help her but he knew the best thing he could do right now was to let her express her pent up emotions.
It took an hour for Mikoto to stop crying. She felt as if she cried a lake full of tears. It had drained her of her energy. Kushina had brought her down on to the couch so she could sit down. Kushina had brought her into another hug. Letting Mikoto's head rest on her shoulder.
Naruto just watched his two lovers without saying a word. Nothing was said for awhile actually. He wanted to go find Sasuke and ask him for himself but that's not where he's needed at the moment.
Mikoto had eventually fallen asleep. Kushina decided to stay on the couch for the night and sleep with Mikoto in her arms. Naruto couldn't necessarily sleep at the moment. It was too many questions inside his head right now. He decided to blow off some steam by sparring with some shadow clones in the backyard. After about an hour he defeated all of the clones. It was 1000 of them. He could've finished a lot sooner but he was only using taijutsu. Naruto headed back inside the house and took a shower. He blew off enough steam so he could at least try to sleep now. He didn't sleep in their room though. He went back to the living room and sat in front of the couch where his two beautiful lovers were. He leaned his back onto the couch and slid down a bit to get comfortable. He reached up and grabbed Mikoto's hand. He interlocked their fingers and gave her a slight squeeze. Naruto was about to close his eyes but he felt Mikoto unconsciously squeeze his hand while Kushina unconsciously moved her hand on top of theirs. Naruto smiled at their gestures and closed his eyes. It didn't take long for him to fall asleep.
Sasuke was in Tsunade's office. He had told her everything that had happened. Tsunade was more than shocked at the news. She now realized why Itachi hasn't responded to any of her messages she sent. "So are you sure this is what you want? I mean I can try to find a way to prolong it from happening. That way you can spend more time with your mother." Tsuande tried to suggest.
Sasuke shook his head. "My goal was to make sure she'll be safe before I leave this world. And I did just that. Naruto will protect her even at the cost of his own life. Besides the longer I'm here. The more it's going to hurt the both of them when I finally do die."
Tsunade sighed, she knew he was right but it still didn't make it ok. "Very well, and are you sure you want to give your eyes to Naruto? I mean it's not a bad idea considering most will try to take your body from it's grave and take them out."
"Yes I'm sure, I want Naruto to have my eyes. He will carry my and Itachi's will. It's what I want and it's what Itachi would have wanted. These eyes could be extremely dangerous in the wrong hands. Plus don't forget I told you I somehow awakened the rinnegan in my left eye. We can't afford to risk it. He's the only person I trust to carry this out. Me and Itachi both will be helping Naruto protect our Mother along with the village. I'm sure he'll become even stronger than he already is. Knowing Naruto he may even figure out how to unlock the rinnegan in both eyes along with using its full capabilities." Sasuke voiced.
"Are you going to tell Sakura and Kakashi?" Tsuande asked.
"No they'll find out soon enough. I want you to keep Sakura away from the operation. I want only you and Shizune working on the transplant and blood transfusion. It's best if Sakura isn't around to do so knowing she'll be emotional. And I want this done immediately." Sasuke said.
"Very well, I'll call Naruto, Kushina and Mikoto into my office tomorrow morning." Tsunade replied.
"Don't worry, I know where they stay at. I'll make sure they get the memo."
Sunlight had started to rise. The sun rays had been through the windows. Mikoto was the first to wake up. She felt that she was being held by someone. She looked up and saw Kushina holding her in her arms. Then she noticed that Naruto was laying on the ground with his head on the couch cushion. He had his hand intertwined with hers. Along with Kushina's on top of theirs. Mikoto couldn't stop herself from smiling at them. They were there for her the whole night. She cried in Kushina's arms for so long. It made her a bit upset with herself that she released all of her emotions onto them. But it made her very grateful for them being in her life. She was cherished, it gave her a warm feeling in her chest.
Kushina felt Mikoto moved her head. The red head opened her eyes. She remembered why she was sleep on the couch. Shina turned her head to look at Mikoto. When she saw Mikoto was smiling at her. She sighed in relief. Mikoto had moved her head forward and kissed Kushina. Shina returned the kiss. It was a nice way to wake up in the morning. The broke the kiss and stared at each other with a smile on their face.
"Thank you for last night Shina-chan. I really appreciate you letting me cry on your shoulder. I didn't know how much longer. I was gonna be able to hold it in." Mikoto said.
"Don't worry about Mikoto. We're family and you're my best friend and lover. I'll always be there for you." Kushina replied.
Mikoto gave her another kiss. They heard Naruto stir in his sleep. Meaning he was about to wake up. He soon opened his eyes. He looked to see his two lovers were awaken. It made him happy to see Mikoto smiling. The smile that should always be on her face.
"Ohayo you two sexy sweethearts." He said in a sleep voice.
"Good morning Naru-chan." They said simultaneously.
"Are you feeling better Miko-chan?" Naruto asked.
"Yes I am, thank you for being there for me Naru-chan." She leaned down and gave Naruto a kiss on his forehead.
Naruto stood up and stretched. "Damn I strained my neck sleeping like that."
Mikoto and Kushina both sat up and stretched out as well.
"Look I'll tell you guys what going on after we shower and what not." Mikoto said.
"Alright you guys can go and take a shower I took one last night so I'll take mine last. I'm gonna go outside for a bit." Naruto replied.
The two kunoichi nodded and made their way to the shower. Naruto went outside and sat on the porch. He knew something just wasn't right. Itachi was too strong to die easily. How the hell did Sasuke get poisoned? He just sighed. To the corner of his eye. He noticed a bird was heading towards him. The bird landed on his shoulder with a scroll in its mouth. Naruto took the scroll. The bird flew away. He opened the scroll to see what did it say.
'Naruto, come to the hokage's office at 10am. Bring both Mikoto and Kushina along with you.'
"Hm so I guess that'll be something to look forward to. It's 7:15 right now so that gives us about 3 hours until then." He said to himself.
Naruto got up and went back inside. He decided to make some breakfast for his future wives. Normally he would want some ramen but he decided to cook a normal breakfast. Pancakes, eggs, bacon and grits.
Kushina and Mikoto both made their way towards the kitchen. They decided to wear something a bit more comfortable. The smell of pancakes also caught their attention. Once they reached the kitchen, they couldn't help but smile.
"Aww Naru-chan, you didn't have to make us breakfast. We could've made it for you." Kushina said.
"She right we are supposed to be your soon to be wives so it's only right if we cook for you." Mikoto added.
"Heh if you two think I'm just going to treat you as normal housewives then think again. I can't stand that stereotypical routine. On how a wife is supposed to clean the house all day and cook. Or stay him with the kids. Or any of the bullshit. You two deserve someone to cater to you too. I refuse to not treat you on equal ground just because we are getting married. Besides Shina is still my mother. I would never disrespect her like that. And you are my god mother Mikoto. The same applies for you too. Plus you two are legendary kunoichi. Only a fool would not treat you with the ultimate respect." Naruto stated.
A blush appeared on both kunoichi's faces. Naruto had declared he was going to treat them on equal footing. Both had always been used to being housewives. Sure they were still Kunoichi but over the years when they got kids. They become housewives. Kushina due to her husband being the fourth hokage. While Mikoto due to her being the wive of the Uchiha clan head. It made them happy knowing that Naruto would never treat them like that. He had nothing but love and respect for the two of them.
"I swear you really are a kind young man Naru-kun." Mikoto voiced.
"I'm proud that I raised you Naruto. I'm happy you won't limit us to housewives like or ex-husbands did." Shina added.
"Thanks now sit down. Breakfast is ready to be served." He responded.
The trio ate in a nice and warm atmosphere. Mikoto felt so much better than she did yesterday. She's been living with Naruto and Kushina for some time now. But it feels that she's always been here. That's how comfortable she's become with the two. She's always been close to Kushina. But now she feels as if they are even closer than before. Words couldn't describe how Naruto made her feel. It was nice knowing that she finally had a happy family to come home to. It was time however to tell them what happened. So she decided to wait until they were finished eating.
Once they finished, Mikoto spoke up. "Naruto and Shina its time I fully explained what exactly happened yesterday.
Naruto and Kushina both looked at each other and nodded. They gave Mikoto their full undivided attention. Mikoto began to explain how Itachi died protecting Sasuke from enemy ninja. Then she explained how Sasuke was able to get the eternal mangekyo sharingan and the rinnegan. Also how he got poisoned.
It was a lot to take in for both Naruto and Kushina. Shina felt horrible that both her god sons had to go through this. Itachi shouldn't have died but unfortunately he's gone. Sasuke is dying of from the effects of an deadly poison. Just how was that fair? Especially to Mikoto. She instantly pulled Mikoto into another hug. Mikoto retuned her hug.
Naruto on the other hand was angry. Angry at the ninja who attacked Itachi and Sasuke. Mad at Itachi for not trusting Sasuke to get himself out that situation. Mad at Sasuke for not moving fast enough. Also mad at Sasuke for being stupid enough not to get checked out after he was cut. Or even letting himself get cut. He was mad at the world. But he knew this was out of his control. Itachi was already gone while Sasuke was dying as if speak. There wasn't anything he could do about it. However he could be mad all he wanted and it would change nothing. He knew that he needed to make sure Mikoto for now on lived a better life. She deserved to be happy and he was going to make sure that happens. Mikoto's smile was always a joy to stare at. Just like Kushina's was.
"I also need to tell you about what he said that involves Naruto." Mikoto said and she broke out of hug her and Shina shared.
Naruto looked at her. He also wondered what did Sasuke mean by that yesterday. Same thing with Kushina. She wanted to know as well.
"Naruto, Sasuke wants you to take his sharingan and implant them into your own eyes." Mikoto stated.
That even cause more shock to Naruto and Kushina. Sasuke wants to give Naruto his sharingan? Why?
"Naruto that will be a great asset to you. Even though I don't really like Uchiha's all that well. Except for that blue hair girl you call Mikoto. Having the sharingan will help you immensely in battle. I think you should take it." Kurama told Naruto
'You have a point Kurama but let me hear the rest of the story first.' Naruto responded.
"So Sasuke wants Naruto to have his sharingan. Interesting but why? He won't be able to fully access its abilities anyways." Kushina said.
"Because he wants Naruto to carry on his and Itachi's will. Protecting me. Sasuke fulfilled Itachi's request by taking his eyes so Sasuke could protect me. He made them into his own but now Sasuke is dying. He said that he wants to help Naruto in protecting me. The only way is by him giving his sharingan to Naruto. He even said Itachi would agree with this." Mikoto explained.
"Mikoto you are lucky to have two sons who care so much about your well being. Still Naruto won't be able to fully access the sharingans abilities. It'll be just like Kakashi. Kakashi can only use the mangekyo a couple times at best before he's exhausted. I mean it's not to say it won't be useful. I'm just saying he won't be able to fully utilize its potential." Kushina voiced.
"Actually he will, if Naruto has a blood transfusion with my Uchiha blood. He will be able to become an Uchiha by blood. Apparently we have the same blood type according to Sasuke. While he was spying on Orochimaru. Kabuto showed him files on us. Containing medical information. Sasuke noticed that we have the same blood type. He said when he was coming up with this plan as he was recovering from the poison somewhat. He luckily remembered that we had the same type." Mikoto told them.
Kushina and Naruto's eyes both widen at this. Who would've guessed that this could actually happen.
"So that means that Naruto would become your biological son. If you mixed his blood with yours. Adding the sharingan to it. He would without a doubt become an Uchiha. Naruto's dna would be altered. Fusing the Uchiha blood inside of him. With the nine tails also inside of him. I'm sure it would help increase the process. If he were to take a dna test. Both of us along with Minato would show up. This will only work because you two have the same blood type." Kushina exclaimed.
Mikoto nodded. "Yes that's how Sasuke kinda explained it to me. The nine tails would help Naruto get used to his eyes very quickly. Sasuke said it took him two weeks for him to get used to Itachi's eyes. So I'm guessing with the help of the nine tails it should take less than a week for Naruto body to adjust. Thankfully his body is more of an adult body. If he was a kid then I assume the process would take a bit longer."
Naruto just sat there quietly taking in all the information. The idea wasn't bad at all in his opinion. He would carry on Sasuke and Itachi's will by using their eyes to protect Mikoto or anyone else close to him. Add the fact that he would be a hybrid in a way. An Uzumaki mixed with an Namikaze and Uchiha. Plus Uzumaki are related by blood to the Senjus. Then he's also the Jinchuuriki to Kurama. Namikaze's aren't really all that special. It was just his father was a special case. Hell Namikazes weren't even an ninja clan. But still Uzumaki, Senju and Uchiha. That just sounds impossible but Naruto was known for making the impossible quite possible.
"Man I'm gonna be even more of an badass than I already am." Naruto said.
Kushina and Mikoto both laughed at his comment. Only Naruto would say something like that at this particular moment of a serious conversation.
"And I'm also gonna be your son. Mikoto-okaasan." He teased.
"Yes you will be and please don't call me that. Either I don't care about you calling me kaasan but Mikoto-okaasan makes me sound so old. I'm the same age as your mother. So I'm not even 40 yet." Mikoto said.
"But it will get confusing if I call both of you just kaasan. If I call you Mikoto-okaasan when I'm with both of you. It won't cause confusion." Naruto reasoned.
"Hmm you make a point. Fine I'll allow you to call me that. But please don't call me that all the time." Mikoto told him.
Naruto nodded. "So I'm gonna have two biological mothers."
"Really I think Sasuke told you to give Naruto your blood on purpose. I mean think about even though you're losing both of your sons. You'll still have one that's alive. Which is Naruto." Kushina stated.
Mikoto thought that over. "Well that is true. Looks like I'll still have a child alive after all. It's nice knowing all of my sons are strong and handsome and are willing to go so far for me. It's also nice knowing I'm marrying one."
"Oh yeah it was a bird gave me a scroll while I was outside. We have to meet at the hokage's office at 10." Naruto said.
"Then Sasuke must've already told Tsunade. Sasuke said he wants the procedure done immediately. He wanted me to let my emotions out. So he decided to wait until today I'm assuming. He doesn't even think he's gonna live throughout the procedure." Mikoto voiced sadly
Nobody said anything for a few minutes. All their thoughts were on Sasuke. It really sad that he has to go out like this.
"Sasuke said he's tired of suffering. So he wants to do it now rather than keep living in pain knowing that he's gonna die regardless. He's content with this happening since he knows I'm going to be safe." The Uchiha princess said.
"Then I guess we better get going. We don't want him to suffer no longer than he has to. I'm gonna go get ready." Naruto told them. He got up and headed upstairs.
Kushina and Mikoto washed the dishes. They were already ready to go. Mikoto was ready to make Naruto her son and say goodbye to her youngest son Sasuke. Kushina was ready to support both Mikoto and Naruto. And to say goodbye to her god son Sasuke. It really hurts her heart to know he's going to die today.
Naruto eventually came down. He looked to see that they had cleaned up the dishes. "Are you two ready?" He asked.
They nodded. The trio walked out of their home and made their way to the hokage tower.
