Bo knew Lauren didn't need a respirator, but it was more like she was aiming for safety. It was just like her. At least she was all business since that was something both could agree on at the moment even though it was an unsaid arraignment.

Tamsin could see her Bo, even all smiles and making sure everyone was ok by talking to the couples, she kept a VERY close tab on on Lauren. Oddly Lauren came back to do more readings on Kendra and it seemed that Lauren was more curious than alarmed. She was checking and rechecking her readings and didn't know exactly why.

Lauren was really uneasy sitting near her ex. She knew Bo probably was brought up to speed through Tamsin via the link since Bo would have gone ballistic on her by now for not being a thrall. There was just no hiding it. She had no time to make a shot to create and aura equivalent to being a thrall. Granted she was close, but alas the cat was out of the bag already.

Bo just carried on and got up to speed with Tamsin just standing in the back leaning against a poll. She knew Tamsin was backing her up and that was always comforting. As for Blaze and Arin, they had gone into the stacks in search of a book then once found could be heard half way to the stairs that led down to Trick's lair. They were no doubt keeping people out of the area so as to prevent more unwitting victims.

Bo being up to speed turned to Alicia, "So you're going to hit the trail again?"

"Yea," Alicia mentioned. "Nothing like being one with nature to help me find my proverbial path"

Bo smirked with a nod of understanding, "What's your trail name?"

"Two Left Feet," she replied a little embarrassed. "I got it when I slipped and fell into a shallow stream, and then with those that happened to be passing by helped me out, I stumbled and tripped."

"Oh," Bo did a tight smile leaning back a little on the table she sat on but confessed, "Well it's better than the nick names I get. Nothing as flattering, I assure you."

Tamsin just looked here and there just humming away like nothing was a miss.

Bo just though back, 'You wouldn't know of ANYONE that call me names would you?'

'Nope. I call you by your species AND besides they are what humans call terms of endearment.'

'BAD Valkiye.'

'D… Doc… docuuuu'

'STOP!'

'Sorry'

'TAMMY. Even with my back turned I can SEE that evil little smirk of yours.'

'You know me too well Bo. Sorry please forgive me … and I'm doing my cute pout in case yer wondering.'

Bo rolled her eyes and continued with the conversation with Alicia since she was a little distant from Dyson just by looking at her body language alone. "So going with Dyson?"

Dyson spoke up, "We decided to take a break Bo. I'll drop off Alicia and she'll continue."

"But Isn't being a lone person on the trail a risk," Bo asked innocuously.

"So is waking up in the morning" Kiko replied. "There are never any guarantees"

Lauren kept checking the cuff she put on Kendra and it was as if she was both puzzled and astounded. A ghoul had no blood pressure OR heartbeat, but it seemed that Kendra's heart beat every 30 to 45 seconds and when Kiko and Kendra were snuggling, it was more toward 30. Also Kiko must not have realized it but Kendra was supposed to feel ice cold to the assassin, but Kendra's temperature was in the high 80's. This was a miracle of some sort and she only heard about this happening to ghouls, but there were so few incidences of it that it was almost heresy. Obviously Kendra had no idea she was part ghoul and part human. As a test though, with Kendra still dialed into the conversation, she passed out sports drink filled with electrolytes in a bottle she had in her pack focusing on Kendra.

Kendra just uncapped it, thanking her since she was a little thirsty. She made sure to pass the others their drinks too. Taking a sip, it tasted like berries but paid no heed to it. It was a standard drink after all.

Lauren was in awe, Kendra was JUST fine drinking it with without a gag reflex ghouls normally have. Ghouls only drank water and maybe dark coffee. Also Kendra didn't make a face of disgust. Little did Kendra know, her HUMAN side was restarted to a small degree, but WHY? It should have happened as soon as she became a ghoul since her organs had the best chance then, but it was now without anything special. What changed? Was it Bo's release? Maybe.

The doctor couldn't help herself and opened up her trail mix offering it to everyone. Everyone said or gestured no, but she asked Kendra, "Hey, I'm trying to get a good reading here Captain Shaw, please?"

Kendra would have ignored Lauren, but Lauren called her by her formal rank and last name but that was in a different life. She just took a small pinch of peanuts and raisins and tossed it in chomped on it and added to the conversation, "Alicia, it's always good to travel with a partner just in case the unexpected happens."

Alicia snapped back, "As opposed to the expected, where you have sex with Dyson every day?" She felt bad immediately and Bo just added, "Kendra means well, do we need to talk about Kendra and Dyson?"

"No. I'm not sorry for saying that, but that's how I feel ok?" Alicia stated with hurt lining her words. "I know, I'm not supposed to feel this way since we are on a proverbial break, but …."

"I'll stay away from Dyson ok?" Kendra offered in haste. "Is THAT what you want?"

"For HOW LONG?!" Alicia nearly shouted pointing at Dyson.

Dyson hated this, but was about to add something when Bo added raising her voice, "She CAN'T if she's on the trail WITH you Alicia!"

This stopped everyone in their tracks and everyone looked a little confused as to why Bo just suggested that. What was her agenda?

After a couple second of silence, Dyson addressed the elephant in the room, "Bo, Kendra is with Kiko."

Kiko didn't know how to take that since Dyson just willing gave Kendra to her.

Dyson carefully added shooting a glance at the assassin, "I'm sure Kiko would object."

Kiko just stayed quiet but asked another question, "What are we trying to accomplish here?"

Alicia tacked on, "Yea 'cus this is, excuse my French, fucked up."

Tamsin stayed mum. Bo was working this deal and as much as she wanted to jeer her, Bo was trying to fix this foursome somehow.

Bo snapped her gaze at Alicia, "You and Kendra both want a relationship with Dyson…. Platonic or otherwise. …."

Alicia snapped back defensively, "No I don't. I can still walk away."

Bo put her hand on top of Alicia's to get her attention, "Before you burn a bridge, TRY to fix it. You two can be civil on the hike right? You will learn about one another without Dyson being in the middle." Bo turned to Kendra who looked like a deer in headlights, "Kendra, I know you love Kiko and I'm not stopping that. Both of you can still grow with that distance. But before you two ride off into the sunset would you be willing to fix the family first? You and Alicia just barely know one another, you help by making us all whole again."

Kendra was so confused and latched onto Kiko hand tightly to show that she wasn't going anywhere. "Bo, I can't. Kiko…. She's the only one keeping me sane ok? Not only that I'm a ghoul and could eat her. Also I suck at camping."

Lauren was about to object but Bo continued but addressed Dyson, "Hey Dyson? Didn't you say that you needed help with your work?" Bo made sure to make eye contact with the assassin.

The wolf followed her eyes and mentioned in disbelief, "Sure Bo, but KIKO is an assassin, she is HUMAN without a Fae owner and there is NO way I can influence her."

Tanaka shot her hands forward like a stop sign and spat you in a near panic like she was going to bolt out of her seat which wasn't like her, "WHOA WHOA WHOA! I know I'm laying low and transitioning out of my profession, but Dyson's work isn't my cup of tea. I'm NO SNITCH and I'm NOT a cop!"

Kendra held in a laugh and hugged her to calm her help her sink back into her seat, "I forgot to tell you Kiki, when you came to see me when Tamsin brought me back, you looked like the part just fine"

Bo rephrased to all, "Kiko is OUTSIDE of Fae law. She could help Dyson as a sort of consultant and also do jobs Light or Dark can't. It would also solidify her belonging in the Fae world if she works WITH you in a manner of speaking."

There was tense silence that followed and Bo was sure glad that Tamsin's potion allowed everone to at least work together somewhat. Had it not, people would have stormed off by now or Bo would have to thall them all of which were not preferred.

Dyson nodded ever so slightly agreeing looking at the assassin dead on.

Kiko finally blurted out, "THIS is temporary but I'll give it a try. ONLY if Kennie is ok with it and even then Dyson, I don't put out." Kiko didn't know why she said that but it was the truth.

"I don't expect you to Kiko. Besides it'd not look good if I fraternized with you in that manner. It's bad enough already," Dyson stated but also had no idea why he just told her that. It was the truth but he could have packaged the delivery better. He then tacked on, "I'm sure Kendra would like you all hers anyway."

Bo soothed, "Now now, can we all drop this pairing thing? JUST for now. Can we all just be friends?" Bo offered.

Alicia shook her head to disagree getting heated, "I don't see WHY I have to work with any of you!"

Lauren erupted yanking off her mask since her mask was muffling her voice then shooting up to tower over all, "EVERYONE! CALM DOWN!"

All eyes landed on the doctor and she finally blurt out exasperated, "You're all KILLING Kendra! She HAS a heart beat, blood pressure and her temperature is rising UNTIL all of you started FIGHTING! For GOD sake STOP IT! ... Don't you see?! She has HUMAN readings now!"
