Straw Hat Kamina!

The badass leader of Team Dai-Gurren, the Great Kamina, has perished defending his soul brother Simon. Though his story might have ended there, what if "Fate" had another plan for this man among men. What would happen if he ended up transported to another world after death? This is the story of how the Great Kamina became a member of the Straw Hat Pirates. Takes place Pre-Timeskip

2. Where the Hell is Chapter 2?

Well, it's been a while since this got an update and I'm sorry to say Chapter 1 is more or less going to be a Oneshot since I really have no motivation to continue this story (Which I'm sorry to say since as I'm writing this there are only 4 stories in the One Piece X Gurren Lagann section, including mine). Though if you enjoyed my writing, I'm currently in the process of working on my other story, 'One Piece: Plus Pokemon', so please check that out. Though I feel bad about finally updating after years of no work, I'll give the rough outline of what the rest of the story would have been like:

- Kamina recovers and after some convincing by Luffy and newest recruit Brook, he decides to join the Straw Hats after recounting his tale of past heroics. He gets along great with Luffy, Usopp, and Chopper since they were all around the same age, is on the same wavelength as Franky, has respect for Zoro his fellow swordsman, and joins Sanji and Brook to form the 'Pervy Trio'.

- They crew would eventually arrive at the Red Line and the events of the Sabaody Archipelago would go down, where Kamina gains a hate for slavery, and is when Kuma separates the crew, he's able to grab Robin's hand as she is sent flying to Tequila Wolf, so he ends up landing there as well.

- He's immediately thrown in prison due to trying to organize a rebellion due to his hatred of slavery, and he and Robin are rescued by the Revolutionary Army (He also gets back his sword that is one of his last mementos of his previous life from the guards).

- He joins Robin in her venture to Baltigo, and during the Two Year Timeskip is trained by the RA's Chief of Staff Sabo.

- After the Two Year Timeskip, Kamina now wears his familiar cape and glasses, but with a black vest and black and red pants with a tightened belt, but his outfit is more or less the same as it is in Gurren Lagann. He's learned Busoshoku and Kenbunshoku Haki, with a specialization in Busohoku. He's named his blade the Dai-Gurren Sword, and developed a sword style based around spinning his blade, much like a drill, called the Lagann Style

- The Straw Hats depart Sabaody for Fishman Island with the papers calling Kamina the crew's newest member along with 'Soul King' Brook.

- On Fishman Island he would have been with Luffy's group and end up captured at the Ryugu Palace. During the battle against the New Fishman Pirates, Kamina would have fought Kasagoba to showcase his improved Strength. (Franky would also reveal the General Franky had based some of its features on things Kamina told him about Gunmen)

- On Punk Hazard, he would end up captured with Nami's group, and would help in rescuing the kids. When Law would switch around the Straw Hats, Kamina would end up in Sanji's body, while Chopper in his. He would join in Luffy's ambush and be defeated by Caesar. He would stick with the rest of the Straw Hats for the remainder of the Arc and help them escape from the Gas and find the kids.

- On Dressrosa, he would join the team exploring the island and enter the tournament alongside Lucy. He enters under his name and that he's a pirate, since no one knows who he is and is placed in Block D. He learns about the evil in Dressrosa with Luffy and fights in Block D. He is able to avoid Hakuba due to his Haki, barely, and is left with just him and Rebecca. He forfeits to the audience's chagrin and Rebecca is declared the winner. Since he forfeited and wasn't injured, he doesn't go to the infirmary and avoids being sent to the underground, so he sneaks out of the Coliseum with Luffy and heads with Luffy's group to the Palace (He also would be happy to see Sabo again). When Kyros chops off Doflamingo's head, Kamina leaps to intercepts Buffalo's attack on Kyros and the two pirates are sent spiraling out of a window, with Kamina telling Luffy he'll handle the executive. While riding on the spiraling Buffalo, he watches as Pica changes the landscape of Dressrosa and Kamina is made a One Star Target on Doflamingo's kill list. The two then crash onto the Pica Golem but eventually land on the second level of the New King's Plateau. The Drilling Swordsman VS the Rotation Human takes place with Kamina being the victor. When the Birdcage starts to close, he helps push Bartolomeo's barrier with the Gladiators. He is given a bounty of 62,000,000 for taking down Buffalo and helping taking down Doflamingo, as well as being officially recognized as a member of the Straw Hat Pirates.

- During Zou, he mourns the loss of Ryunosuke with the others and listens to the events of what happened on the island. He supports Luffy's decision to expand the alliance, as well as say he'll always protect Robin. He joins Luffy in his journey to get back Sanji as he felt worried about the situation Sanji was in.

- During WCI, Kamina would worry about Sabo's fate with Luffy and would be jealous of Sanji's fiancee to be with Brook, as well as be shocked that Sanji turned down Pudding. He would venture into the Seducing Woods with Luffy's group and watch as Chopper and Carrot get captured by Brulee. He would help defend Nami from Cracker, and watch in awe as Luffy defeated the Sweet General. He would watch as Sanji and Luffy dueled, realizing the truth of the fight. He would also fight alongside Nami and Luffy against the Enraged Army, and end up getting captured with them. He would stick Nami and Jinbe once the trio were freed, and support Luffy's decision the crash the wedding. During the Wedding, he would help protect Luffy with Jinbe and Pedro and be in awe of Jinbe's withdraw from the Big Mom Pirates. During the escape, Kamina would be shocked at Pedro's sacrifice and then furious at the Big Mom Pirates, Luffy's rousing words would get him to help with the departure preparations. After Luffy enters the Mirror to fight Katakuri, he would help defend the Sunny along with the rest of the Straw Hats for the remainder of the Arc.

And that's as far as I got planning wise for this story, though I added some stuff in since the the WCI Arc has ended by now. If anyone would wish to continue this story, contact me and I would be willing to even help you write it. But for now, I thank those who have followed this story and hope this can make up for not finishing it.
