Lauren hung out with everyone else since Bo and Tamsin took a booth to talk. Trick was happy she was back and just caught up with one another. It seemed that Arin and Blaze left with one another probably on Blaze's motorcycle. As for Dyson, he stopped by with Kiko from the small talk and then they were off too.

As for Bo and Tamsin, there wasn't much talking at all. Bo whisked Tamsin away and assured her that she was still one hundred percent hers. There they sat spooning with one another fully clothed. Bo was behind cradling a Valkyrie who snuggled into Bo to feel her closeness.

Bo innately knew that talking in any form was the last thing Tamsin wanted. After using the link to tell Tamsin the key details about Lauren staying for now and Lauren put in the Friendzone for both of them, Tamsin went mute.

Tamsin kept thinking this thing through finally spoke nonchalantly, "Can we go home my love? It's kind of late." She turned crinkling her nose pulling Bo to her feet.

"Yea," Bo nodded in agreement not daring to push her love further. Lauren just had to wait. Maybe things would be clearer after some rest. Passing by Lauren, Bo requested, "Hey Lauren? Can we stop by your place tomorrow and talk, please?"

"Sure," Lauren hesitantly nodded but then snapped to address Tamsin who was hiding somewhat behind Bo to be unnoticed it seemed. Lauren then formally stated to her pulling something out of her medical bag resting on the table next to her, "Mistress, I hope to earn you trust once more. … I.. In the mean time please accept this." The doctor put forward a thin elongated red velvet box, something one put jewelry in like a neckalce.

The Valkyrie who was stone faced moments earlier, lit up asking, "Is this….." Lauren nodded. Tamsin then got all serious and accepted it clearing her throat and mentioned. "Thanks."

Bo was curious what it was, but in due time.

Kiko and Dyson each went to bed with their loved ones knowing that they'd be gone tomorrow on a long 3 month hike. At least as 2 separate couples as they were now, things were simpler. A four way was just to complex to manage but somehow they all agreed to go for it. All of them had been through so much they just easily found their ways to sleep in the arms of their love.

Dyson knew that Mark didn't come home and he concluded why. He was with Vex. That was a bridge that had to be crossed later.

Finally Lauren washed her face about to turn in for the night alone with her head swimming on what she was doing. She didn't know if skipping town was better but then out of the blue, her door bell rang and then a soft almost reserved knock followed. As such Lauren pulled on a robe and looked out the peep hole since she wasn't expecting anyone.

EVONY.

She was just impatiently squirming at the door in a overcoat.

Lauren pulled open the door and held an uneasy smile, "Hi. Is something wrong?"

"No daring," Evony waved off brushing past Lauren and did a circle around the foyer as if she was browsing for something.

Lauren shut the door confused and asked, "So what brings you here at this time of night?"

Evony then pivoted to face Lauren with a serious but seductive gaze. "Turndown service?" Evony mentioned innocently untying her belt and dropping her overcoat to clump up on the meticulous carpet.

The doctor's jaw dropped and stuttered at the sight before her, "Ummmmm I'm…. I've done it already" Evony was wearing an almost see through black silk negligee.

Without a word, Evony totally ignoring that comment led Lauren into her bed room , stripping off her robe then tucking her in.

Lauren was still apprehensive on what was going on as Evony left the room briefly and returned with her cell phone and a cocktail in hand scooting into bed next to Lauren.

"No turndown service is complete without a nightcap and a bed time story dear," Evony just stated as a matter of fact. She set the drink down on Lauren's side of the bed side table and with a couple of deft strokes on her phone large display announced as an introduction, "Black Holes and Baby Universes, by Stephen Hawking. Unabridged, FIRST EDITOR'S EDITION, second copy with Mr. Hawking's notes in the margins"

Lauren shot up in awe skimming over with rabid curiosity at what Evony was looking at and stammered, "Where… Where did you find this?! Not even the Fae archive has this… they have the first pubic edition,… 32nd copy. Do you have the PHYSICAL version?"

The seductress just guided her back to lying down and comforted, "hush hush. YES in my vault and as for me coming across it, I have my ways and I though of you when I ran into this gem."

"But," Lauren interrupted shaking her head to make sense of this, "You could have sent it to me to read at my leisure? So… why the personal visit?" She needed to know what was her end game after all.

"I've been a bad friend to you," Evony answered quickly. "I was off taking over the world, but you got me where I am now. When I heard reports that you had been thralled by Bo, I …. deary me…. I did didn't rock the boat because Bo and her band together were powerful and I didn't want to risk hurting you too in the scuffle aside from my clandestine trail of bread crumbs to assist your lab tech Suzie in finding the right direction to lift your thrall medically speaking. I should have done more as a close friend. SO," Evony emphasized taking her hand and patting it. "I am here now and what ever your heart desires, it's yours if I can give it. As for now, you need to pamper yourself every now and then. So sit back and relax, you deserve it." She proceed to kiss Lauren in a motherly fashion on the forehead and begin reading,

"Chapter 1, Childhood. I WAS BORN ON January 8, 1942, exactly three hundred years after the death of Galileo. However, I estimate that about two hundred thousand other babies were also born that day. I don't know whether any of them were later interested in astronomy. I was born in Oxford, even though my parents were living in London. This was because Oxford was a good place to be born during World War II: The Germans had an agreement that they would not bomb Oxford and Cambridge, in return for the British not bombing Heidelberg and Göttingen. It is a pity that this civilized sort of arrangement couldn't have been extended to more cities."

With that introduction and Evony's thoughtfulness, Lauren just relaxed. After a while Lauren could not help BUT to sit up and cling on EVERY word which was essentially the bible of science.

Chapters FLEW by and despite Evony not being in science, read it with so much passion that Lauren found herself on her side hugging Evony in closely resting her head on her chest to get a better view of the screen.

On and on she red until Lauren fell asleep in the arms of her dark mentor. When she woke in the morning, Evony was gone, but she left a hand written note which read, 'Turndown service again tonight? (heart) E.' The doctor couldn't wait but in the mean time, she got a text of Bo to meet them at the crack shack.

Kiko drove Kendra and picked up Kenzi at the crack shack before first light. It was time to meet up at Dyson's place since Alicia was staging there before they all left for the long hike.

Kenzi tried to keep things up beat but dialed it back since Kendra was stroking Kiko's free hand the whole trip. It appeared that Kendra was reassuring Kiko that she was still hers without any words. Kiko was really hard to read, but Kendra probably knew better. After all, Kiko was the one that had a major crush on Kendra, that and she was as an assassin, now inactive. So it turned out the silence was the best but it kind of felt like a mourning of loss.

Alicia was busy cramming the last couple items in her pack and Dyson stopped making breakfast to help. It was then she snapped back it him pushing him away, "Dammit Dyson! I got it."

"I just trying to help," Dyson replied raising his voice as well totally frustrated.

"I'm NOT some helpless girl ok?!" Alicia stayed on target not only glancing at him. "It's just best you go over there and concentrate on breakfast," she ordered unapologetically.

Dyson didn't take this well and for once didn't stand down, "WHAT is WRONG Alicia. You've BARELY slept a wink, and you've been tossing and turning all night, and now it's as if hate me."

Alicia twirled around and was so agitated she thew her hand on the air and with venomous contempt spat out, "What's NOT to like?! First, I feel like I'm being PLAYED. Kiko brought me back to help you get over a tough spot in your life. STUPID ME, I should have known better that it was another girl who was STILL in the picture!"

"No…. You are all..."

"LIES!" Alicia shrilled, "I SAW you with Kendra! …"

"IT WAS SEX under the influence of..."

"IT WAS LOVE! And YOU made me believe I was all yours! I'm just a fucking proxy.. a beard!"

"No, I love you"

Alicia just motion to her large pack, "NOW I want to decompress and move forward but HOW CAN I?! I'm hiking with your lover! We need to burn this bridge now! You and I…. I can't delude myself that this will work!"

"WHAT! You agreed you'd..."

"Yea, after Bo's shit wore off, I've had HOURS to think about it Mr. wham bam thank you ma'am! And I had to FAKE it for the first time in my life Dyson! FAKE IT!" Alicia was so upset she shoved him back angry at the world. "I fucking KNOW what I agreed to, ALL RIGHT?! But WE can't be together, since obviously, I'm NOT good enough. Find that shit with Kendra, ok? We're DONE here…. " Alicia heaved on her pack. "Tell Kendra and Kenzi that I can't do this. As a matter of fact, tell them whatever you want. I don't care anymore."

Dyson was at a loss for words and Alicia stomped out yanking open Dyson's front door to leave for good but there in front of her were Kenzi, Kendra, and Kiko. Reading Kenzi's expression, they heard it all.
