The next few days where quiet as then today the bell from the mansion went off as Brooklyn walked towards the door and opened it. Surprised to see Diana standing there. "Diana, hi." Brooklyn told her flabbergasted.

"Hi, Brooklyn." Diana greeted her.

"If you don't me asking, why are you here and all alone without Elijah?" Brooklyn asked to her.

"I wanted to visit you and Elijah should be here soon, I hope." Diana sighed.

Brooklyn looked at her. "Well, I'm that you are here." She smiled at her friend. "I have missed you." She walked up to her and hugged her.

Diana hugged her back. "I have missed you too."

Just then Klaus walked towards them. "Well, well, if isn't the witch."

Diana and Brooklyn went broke the hug as Diana told him. "Well, if isn't the hybrid, long time no see."

Klaus managed to create a smile. "While and here I thought we were getting along."

"We will see." Diana rolled with her eyes.

"Well, come inside, then." Brooklyn told her.

Diana nodded. "Would love too." She walked inside of the mansion.

Brooklyn closed the door behind her.

Diana told all about where she gone too with Elijah, Brooklyn only listened as Klaus and Rose painting on an easel. Rose was making a mess but Klaus helped her to make it look beautiful. Just then Rebekah walked into the room as Diana and Brooklyn at her. Klaus asked to her as he had notice her. "What took you so long?" Rose looked at her aunt, but decided to keep going painting,

"Alaric didn't want to hand over the stake." She held up the stake. "Luckily I'm quite the charmer."

"That's it?" Brooklyn looked at her.

"Last of the white oak stakes that can kill us." Rebekah looked at her brother, holding out the stake. "Do you want to do the honors, or shall I?" Klaus grabbed the stake and throws into the fire. "Well, that's that, then."

"Pack your bags. We're leaving." Klaus dropped a bombshell.

"Today?" Rebekah asked shocked.

"Why not? There's nothing keeping us here." Klaus replied to her. "We'll grab the doppelganger and be off by sunset."

"But tonight's the decade dance." Rebekah looked at her brother.

"So?" Klaus looked back at her.

"So I'm head of the committee." Rebekah reason with him. "We have to go."

"I'm not going to any dance." Klaus argued.

Then Brooklyn remembered. "I'm going, I promised you sister, Nik."

"That means nothing to me." Klaus still argued as Brooklyn rolled with her eyes.

"Please?" Rebekah basically put puppy eyes at her brother. "I have big plans for tonight. Just go for us."

"Ok, fine." Klaus sighed as he give in. "One last hurrah."

"One last hurrah, Nik." Rebekah smiled at her brother.

In the evening, Brooklyn and Klaus arrived at the dance as they Tyler and Caroline, he wanted to walk towards them as Brooklyn stopped him. "Not tonight, sweetie." She looked at him. "We are here for the dance not for the trouble."

Klaus sighed as he nodded to her as then he held out his hand to her. "Would you like to dance?" He asked to her.

"Yes, I would love too." Brooklyn replied to him as they went on the dance floor.

"You would have loved the 1920s, Brooklyn." Klaus told her as they were dancing. "Girls were reckless, sexy, fun. They literally used to dance until they dropped."

"I don't suppose that had anything to do their dance partners." Brooklyn smiled at him, Klaus smiled back.

"Are you ready to leaving town with me and our daughter tomorrow?" Klaus asked to her.

"Ready, but I haven't told to Diana yet." Brooklyn replied.

"Then you will tell her tomorrow morning." Klaus suggested.

"Okay, Nik." Brooklyn told him. Then she noticed that she didn't see Rebekah at all here at the dance. "I don't see Bekah."

"I don't her ether." Klaus told her as then they stopped with dancing. "Let's go."

Brooklyn nodded to him. "Okay."

Then they walked outside as Klaus phoned his sister. "Rebekah, call me back immediately. I only came to this ridiculous dance because you begged me to, and now you're nowhere to be found." Then he hung up as he saw the sand laying on the ground. "What is this?"

Brooklyn noticed it as well. "What the…?"

Then Stefan appeared and told them. "Your mother's back."

"Oh, my god." Brooklyn breathed out, holding against Klaus.

Not much later, they were standing in a classroom, Bonnie chanting.

"She does this all the time, right?" The boy, Jamie asked to the others. No one answered.

"What's taking so long?" Klaus asked to Bonnie. "All boundary spells have a loophole."

Then matt entered into the room. "People are walking right out of the dance, past the barrier."

"Well, if Matt and I can leave, we could stop Esther ourselves." Jeremy suggested. "We just gotta find out where she is."

"No." Brooklyn looked at her little brother.

"Suicide, Jeremy." Stefan agreed with Brooklyn.

"Suicide would be disappointing me." Klaus used his vampire speed as then he grabbed Jamie by his neck. "Now work your magic, witch, or I'll start killing people you fancy."

"Let him go." Bonnie told him, angry.

"Not until you get us out of here." Klaus told as he was still holding Jamie.

"Ah, don't be stupid, Klaus. Bonnie doesn't give a damn about us." Stefan told to Klaus. "The only reason she's helping right now is to save Caroline and Tyler. If you start killing the people she cares about, she'll tell us all to go to hell." Then Klaus let go of Jamie.

Then Bonnie walked to another classroom as Brooklyn followed her. Bonnie grabbed a map from the wall and put on the table as then Damon and Klaus walked into the room as well. Damon have a bottle of blood. "Here. Jeremy made a little gilbert blood donation for your locater spell."

"I have to do this with you two lurking over me?" Bonnie asked to men, who were standing very close to her. Brooklyn have her distance with Bonnie.

"You're still mad at me for what happened to Abby." Damon looked at Bonnie. "Let me apologize. I'm sorry Elijah forced us to turn your mother into a vampire to save Elena's life. Didn't exactly have a choice."

"There's always a choice." Bonnie argued. "Whenever you make one, someone else suffers."

"Let's cut the dramatics and begin, shall we?" Klaus looked at them.

Bonnie grabbed the bottle from Damon and put it on the map and started chanting. Then she stopped and told to them. "Esther's fighting me."

"Esther couldn't possibly have this much power." Klaus told to them. "No, she's channeling something."

"A hotspot." Bonnie realized.

"Get the humans ready." Klaus told to them. "I know where she is."

Klaus, Brooklyn and Stefan were standing outside as then Klaus spoke up. "You know, this is your fault. You set us on this path. When you released my mother. I wonder if revenge will prove worth the cost."

"Oh, I'm done with revenge." Stefan looked at him. "As far as Esther, we've stopped her before, we'll stop her again."

"We are strange bedfellows, you and I." Klaus waved with arm a little as Brooklyn raised her eyebrow. "You know, all of this reminds me of our time together in the twenties."

"You say that like I'm supposed to have happy memories about it." Stefan told him sarcastically.

"Well, there were moments, real friendship, Brotherhood." Klaus told him seriously, missing the sarcastically.

"Oh, he already has a brother." Damon told to him as he walked forwards to them. "Not to be, you know, territorial or anything."

"Oh, no, of course." Klaus looked at the brothers. "The Salvatore's and their unshakeable bond. I wonder what'll happen when Elena finally makes her choice. Will we see you shake Just a little bit?"

Bonnie walked to them. "It's done. Esther's not fighting me anymore." She told them. "The boundary spell is broken."

Klaus tried if the barrier was really gone, it is, and then he and Brooklyn went away from there.

"Thank you, Bonnie. For everything." Stefan told to her.

"I didn't do it for you." Bonnie told to him, before she walked away.

Klaus and Brooklyn went to the Salvatore tomb as then Klaus grabbed his mother's body, then they went away again. Then they went home and to the coffin room and Klaus put his mother's body in a coffin and went to another, where Rebekah was laying there. He opened the coffin and pulled the dagger out as Brooklyn remained by doorway watching him. He put the dagger on table and went to his mother's body again.

He looked at his mother's body. "Your trap failed, mother. I live, and I will go on living. Let your beloved spirits try to preserve you again. I dare you to come after me. I will build an army so big, no one will ever touch me. My survival will haunt you through eternity." He shouted at the end. "You will never destroy me!"
