Brooklyn and Rebekah were already cleaning from the dance that had took place yesterday. Rebekah had asked to Brooklyn for help as Matt was on his work, so Brooklyn said yes that she will help. Now she have a trashcan in her hands and grabbed the garbage. Rebekah did the same. Then Caroline walked into the room and she asked to them. "Where's Matt?"

"He bailed. Got called into work at the last minute." Rebekah replied to her.

"And I'm here to help." Brooklyn told to Caroline.

"Are you kidding me? So it's just us?" Caroline exclaimed.

"Yes, and you're late. Clean-up committee started at 8:00." Rebekah said out of boredom.

"It's like 8:02." Caroline looked on her phone.

"Exactly." Rebekah put the garbage in the container. "I managed to turn up on time and I didn't even get to attend the dance that I organized."

"Girls, girls, let's stop with the bickering and let's back to work." Brooklyn suggested. The other two nodded to her.

"I'm sorry about your mom." Caroline told to Rebekah. "I mean, I know you, like, you hated her and everything, but still."

"I'm sorry about your teacher." Rebekah told her. "He seemed like a nice guy."

"Yeah. He was." Caroline looked sadly.

"I'm going to get started on the gym." Rebekah looked at Brooklyn. "Brooklyn, you with me?"

"Yeah." Brooklyn nodded to her.

Rebekah and Brooklyn walked out of the room and walked into the hallway. Then someone approached them.

"Alaric." Brooklyn looked shocked.

"You're supposed to be dead." Rebekah looked also shocked.

"I am." Alaric told them coldly.

Rebekah tried to get away as then he held her pinned against the lockers. Then she choked out. "Brooklyn run away from here, now!"

Brooklyn started running, not noticing what was happing behind her. Then she was smashed against the wall and blacked out.

Brooklyn woke up seeing herself chained up, with a silver bullet here and there on her body, it hurts like hell. Then she sees Caroline in a chair with pencils in her hands and a cloth in her mouth. Then finally she sees Alaric sitting there in a chair watching them as he whispered. "Right on time."

Brooklyn looked in confusion of what's happening as then Elena waltzed into the classroom.

"Caroline! Brooklyn!" Elena looked at her friend as then she looked at sister as then she looked back at Alaric. "Let them go, Alaric." She couldn't see them in pain.

"Free them yourself." Alaric told to her. "But you have to choice one."

"That's sick." Brooklyn exclaimed, Elena silencely agreed to her sister.

"Choice one!" Alaric told to Elena.

Elena looked sadly to her sister as then she walked to her friend. She tried to free her as then Alaric put the pencil back in her hand. "Hey. You said that you would let them go!"

"How many times do I have to tell you, Elena?" Alaric looked at her. "Stop trusting vampires!"

Brooklyn struckled against the chains, she used all her strength to get lose, even though she have silver bullets in her body. She freed herself form the chains, but it didn't get unnoticed by Alaric. He came to her as then he shot another silver bullet in her leg, Brooklyn cried out from the pain and fell on the ground. Alaric let her laying there as then he took off the cloth from Caroline. Then he dipped it with vervain and put it around her again.

Caroline begged him. "No, don't, please don't."

"Alaric, stop!" Elena ordered him, while she stood up.

"Sit down!" He pushed her down into her chair as then he put the cloth around Caroline mouth as she screamed. "This keeps the vervain in her system. It's like inhaling razor blades with every breath."

"Why are you doing this?" Elena asked to Alaric.

"To make it easier on you when you put her out of her misery." Alaric replied to her.

"What? No!" Elena yelled.

"Isn't this what you wanted, Elena?" Alaric looked at her. "For me to teach you how to kill a vampire?" He held out his stake. "Well, here's a vampire, Elena. Kill her."

"This isn't what I want." Elena looked angry at him.

"Of course it is. All those hours you spent training, getting stronger." Alaric told to her. "You could be a hunter, Elena. But you've never actually staked a vampire through the heart."

Brooklyn pulled the silver bullets out, without screaming away as Elena asked to Alaric. "Why are you doing this?"

"Because you need me." Alaric replied to her. "Because you're an without parents or guidance or any sense of right and wrong anymore."

"Look at you." Elena pointed at Caroline. "How is this right?"

"She's a murderer. She told me she killed someone and liked it." Alaric looked at her. "Now how is that right? See, Elena Your parents led the council. It was their life's mission to keep this town safe. They weren't dead six months before you undid it all."

"You don't know anything about them." Elena hissed at him as Brooklyn had the last bullet out.

"Why, am I wrong? Do you actually think that they'd be proud of you? If you don't side with the humans. You're just as bad as them." Alaric pulled her up and put the stake in her hand. "Now kill her. Or I'll do it for you. And I'll make it hurt." Elena attacked him, but he already saw it as he blocked it. "I thought I taught you better than that."

"You did." Elena smacked the glass against his face as he screamed in agony. Brooklyn stood up and helped Elena with Caroline to get free. When she was free, Elena called to them. "Get help!" Caroline and Brooklyn rushed out of the room as Elena wasn't fast enough and was stopped by Alaric.

In the hallway, they looked back if they followed, it wasn't as then they looked forwards, then Klaus came behind Brooklyn. Before she could cream, Klaus put his hand on her mouth. "It's OK, it's OK. It's me. It's OK. You're safe." He told to the both of them. "We'll save Elena. You two go straight home, you two stay inside, you two understand?" Brooklyn already nodded, then he looked at Caroline. "Do you understand me?"

She nodded as well. "Thank you."

Klaus looked at Brooklyn. "Let Diana protect you and our daughter, alright?"

"Yes, Nik." Brooklyn nodded.

"Good, now go, the both of you." Klaus told to the girls.

They nodded as they rushed out of the school.

A little while later, Brooklyn had fallen asleep in the mansion as Diana looked after Rose. Then there was a door that smashed closed as Brooklyn started to wake up and out of the room, seeing Klaus there. "Nik." He turned around to see her. "What happened?"

"Well, Alaric is bound to Elena's lifespan, she told us so herself. And now she is making a donation." Klaus replied to Brooklyn.

"Why?" Brooklyn asked to him. when he didn't answer she did it for him. "You want a back-up incase, you lose us all." She looked at him. "Am I right?"

"Yes." He simply replied to her.

"Oh, Nik, you know you will never lose me or Rose or your siblings." Brooklyn told to him as she hugged him.

"I know." Klaus muttered.

"Now, where is my little sister?" Brooklyn asked as they went apart from the hug.

"Downstairs." Klaus replied to her.

Then they walked downstairs as a nurse switched out a blood filled bag for a fresh one on Elena, who was getting weaker. She asked to Klaus as she sees him. "What about your hybrids? You'll need more than this to create your army."

"These last few liters will have to suffice." Klaus told to her as he grabbed one blood bag that was filled with her blood. "You see, by attempting to kill us, my mother strengthened the bond between my siblings and I. I also have Brooklyn and our daughter Rose. I don't need hybrids. I have my family."

"If you believe that, then why take my blood at all? You want a back-up family. You know that your siblings will never trust you again." Elena told to him. "And you know that Brooklyn will never turn into a hybrid like you, a minion. She don't that, so you will her and maybe you daughter as well."

Brooklyn walked to her sister. "You don't know me at all."

"Really? I wouldn't." Elena told to her sister. Brooklyn stayed silence, because it's just a waste talking to her.

Then Klaus walked to Elena. "You know Stefan blames me for trying to tear him from his brother?" he looked at her. "But I think we both know who really came between them. You. That's why you won't choose. You know once you pick a Salvatore, you'll destroy their bond. Consider this me doing you a favor. Once you're dead, you won't have to choose. No broken hearts. Their family stays intact. But just between us girls, who would you have picked?"

"Rot in hell." Elena snarled at Klaus.

"Hmm. You're welcome." Klaus smirked at her. "Sweet dreams, Elena. It's been fun."

While Klaus and Brooklyn where out of the room, Tyler came into the room. He walked towards Elena and he freed her.

"What are you doing?" Elena asked to him.

"Shh." He said to her as then he was busy to free her from the chair, he succeed.

"Tyler." Elena suddenly said to him.

Tyler turned around and saw that Klaus and Brooklyn were standing there, by the doorway. "So much for that sire bond." Klaus told to him as they walked talked closer to Tyler.

Tyler stood up. "I'm not your little bitch anymore."

"How did you break the sire bond?" Klaus asked to him, looking surprised.

"By breaking every bone in my body a hundred times for the girl I love." Tyler replied to him.

"That's impossible." Klaus said shocked.

"Is it? Or maybe real love is stronger than fake loyalty." Tyler walked towards to him. "But what would you know about that?"

"You know, you should be thanking me. I gave you a gift, I took away your misery." Klaus reminded him.

"You didn't give a crap about me! You just didn't want to be alone." Tyler told to him as then he helped Elena up.

Then Klaus rushed towards them as then he pushed Elena to the ground, before he grabbed Tyler by the throat and pushed him against the wall. "Good-bye, Tyler." Klaus said to him as he tried to grab his heart, but then Tyler twisted his arm around.

Suddenly Damon came out of nowhere and grabbed the other arm from Klaus as Stefan also came out of nowhere and put his hand around Klaus's heart.

Then Klaus started to desiccate as Brooklyn screamed to them. "No, no, no, no. Why?" She stood there looking at them, in shock.

"Hey." Damon helped Elena up. "Are you Okay?" She nodded to him.

Once Klaus was fully neutralized Stefan took his hand out of his chest as Tyler laid him down on the ground. Brooklyn rushed over to him, not knowing what to do. She just looked at him.

"Come on." Stefan told to the others. "We should get her home before the sun sets."

They tried to get Brooklyn with them but she just screamed. "No!" at them as them they just leave the place. Then Brooklyn rushed to upstairs to Diana and told her everything that had happened today.
