Sorry for the long delay I know this chapter is slightly short for me and hope to have the next chapter out by Sunday or next week. I been very busy lately but now on to the story.
Goku laughed at his wife with the look she was giving him. He knew that no matter what he would never win the conversation about his children should be able to choose between fighting or being over achievers.
Goten was having a blast but also getting frustrated since his sister was so fast and he couldn't catch her. He remembered his and Vegeta had always told Trunks and him how strong and fast his sister was and seeing it all this time was still unbelievable. He was also frustrated because he now noticed that his sister was way better than anyone he ever faced and there was no way he would ever get the bell. Also he wasn't sure how this was helping him to learn how to fly or control his power as she had told him that was the point of training.
Gohan stopped when she noticed her brother getting frustrated and said, "Goten it's teaching you control of not only the power inside you but also your mental control."
Goten gave her a confused look and said, "Mental control?"
Gohan nodded and said, "When you first learn to use ki it is either one too powerful or it's not powerful enough. Now to fix that there are different ways one is Piccolo's way which is fighting you to near death like he did me or the second is that you fight with everything you got until you can get this bell. In other words don't give up keep going."
Goten really thought of what his sister had stated. He remembered when his dad and mom where trying to teach him and they couldn't figure out why he could do the Kamehameha wave but it always took so much out of him. He never could figure out how to take just enough energy was that where he was going wrong. Then again is sister was making it look easy. Gohan sighed they had been going at it for awhile and said, "Goten let's call it a day and try again in two days I didn't expect you to be able to do it in one day. It took me and my comrades until lunch and we failed the initial training just to pass it because Sasuke and I were ready to give our lunch to Naruto. Our little test was to show that we could work as a team."
Goten nodded as the two walked back inside. Goten was a little disappointed in himself he was hoping that his sister had more faith in him but he seem to not have done her proud.
As they were eating dinner Gohan looked at her brother and said, "Goten if you think I'm disappointed then you're wrong. I told you it's going to take time. I didn't learn to fly or use my ki right away I had six months of living on my own. When it came to my ninja training I went to ninja school for a year and was a Genii for two years after words just to become a chunnin so don't worry we work on it and when I can't train you then dad and mom could help you that way you can polish up your skills.
Goten smiled as he was glad that his sister wasn't being mean about it. He still thought that he should have been able to do better but if his sister believed it took time then he would not doubt it as much. Gohan noticed her brothers' frown and whispered, "I bet you that not even Trunks could get the bell from me."
Goten smiled and knew that she had posed a challenge to his best friend and had to call him to invite him over soon.
As the weeks passed and school was coming to a close Gohan worked hard to improve her fighting skills between Vegeta and her dad she was becoming a dangerous weapon and a skilled warrior she was finally able to show off the Super Saiyan 3. Right away Goku and Gohan noticed a problem with that form it cut back on Gohan's speed to give her more power. Gohan immediately stated she wouldn't use that form since she was not going to change her fighting ways. They also noticed that since she mastered all three forms that the first Super Saiyan form was more for a defensive fighter, the second for a speed fighter, and the third was defiantly for an attack fighter.
On the last day of school Sasuke, Ino, Naruto, Sai, and Gohan were sitting around at Capsule Corps wondering what they were going to do now. Sasuke was all for going back to Konoha since he really wanted to be with his girlfriend again and get some type of mission. The others were in an agreement except for Gohan she wanted both worlds and didn't really know what she wanted. Kakashi kept telling her to follow her heart and that Konoha would have no problem with Piccolo especially the Konoha 12 who were used to seeing Kisame. Piccolo wasn't the problem of her choosing it was that she loved her family and little brother with all of her heart and didn't want to lose the closeness that they shared now. She didn't have any family in Konoha except her teammates and Tsunade.
As she was lost in thought she noticed that Trunks was nearby and gave a smirk as grabbed the bell. Goten had never managed to get the bell from her but after the fifth day she did manage to get him off the ground as they were battling and she ever so slowly started to float while fighting and he was following her; not all their battles became aerial battles to help him keep focus on how much ki he's using. It seem controversial on it being effective as a training regiment by the other Z-warriors but once again Gohan showed them up as it being a good way since the two kids were still learning and would know how much ki they were using up and not kill themselves in a battle.
She found Trunks and made the bell ring to get his attention. He smirked as he got up and said, "Goten told me that you think I can't get that bell from you."
Gohan smirked back and tied the bell to her belt and said, "Come and try then if you think you can."
Trunks got into his stance while Gohan got into hers. She first noticed that like Goten he didn't have a steady stance. She sighed and thought what did, they teach these two the stance has more weakness then any academy student hell even Naruto had a better stance then them.
