AN: NOT a new chapter but a NEW story alert!
I know many of you who follow this story and are hoping for an update but I am very sorry to disappoint you. I have like good news and bad news. The bad news is that I will no longer be updating this version of the story. The good news is that I will be rewriting this to fit with a new plot and vision for this story. There will still be pirates, sex, and mermaids but it will be a bit different. I have sort of written myself in a corner and my muse is taking me in a different direction. I will be leaving this story on here and won't be deleting it in case some of you still want to read it but this will be re-written in a new story under near the same alias as this one. Hopefully you will like the new one even better! I will be posting it almost immediately after posting this so go check it out. It is called "The Mermaid's Tale Reimagined".
Another quick life update as well while I have the floor for many of you who also follow my personal life (or who even care to). People know I have had a very few hard years when I started writing and since then I have been in a very good place which has limited my ability to write and update less than I would like to. Right now I live in the Maryland/DC area with my amazingly smexy boyfriend of almost four years and I am about to attend my second semester of university at the University of Maryland for journalism (that is right, your smut writer is going to try and make a difference in the world). So I am jugging a full course load, a relationship, and wait for it, a puppy. Updates as usual will be infrequent, out of the blue, and unannounced, if at all, but I still hope you read it and enjoy it. Thank you for the continued support and I can't wait to hear what you guys think of this.
