While at the grocery store getting food for her trip back to the Feudal Era she meets a mysterious man. He gives her a bag filled with books with her friends' names on them, not knowing what to do her and Kazuo go back and shows them the books. After reading a couple of pages, it becomes clear to everyone that the books are stories of their lives.

6. Chapter 6

Chapter Six

Kagome looked at Miroku who was still staring at Sango and Kazuo enviously. She smiled to herself hoping that Miroku will finally make his move soon.

She put her book down before she served everyone their food.

She ate her food as she thought about her book.

'Who was the man that gave it to her? How did these books have information on all of their lives?' She thought to herself. She didn't know if it was a good idea to read the whole book if it was a book of their lives, then it had information of when and if they defeated Naraku.

Not only could they change history but if Naraku ever got his hands on any of these books then so could he. That thought alone scared her.

Shaking her head a little trying to shake away those thoughts before she continued to eat her food. She looked down when she felt someone touch her leg.

She smiled softly when she saw that it was Shippo. "I'm okay." She told him as he finished eating her dinner.

Kazuo yawned and put his dirty dishes away before he went to his sleeping bag. "Do you think you'll be okay Sango?"

Sango nods. "I should be fine Zuo." Sango smiled softly before laying down near Kilala.

~ In The Middle Of The Night ~

Miroku woke up a little and yawned before turning over and getting comfortable.

He looked over when he heard Kilala get up and move closer to Kagome. 'Strange, she never leaves Sango's side.' He thought before he looked back to where he thought Sango was.

He frowned when he noticed Sango wasn't in her usual spot before he looked around for her.

'Why does she always go to Kazuo whenever she has a nightmare?' Miroku thought sadly as he watched Sango cuddle close to Kazuo.

He sighed before he closed his eyes and tried to go back to sleep never noticing Naraku's insects were watching them.
