Chapter Nine:
Kagome and Sango glanced at each other before getting out of the hot spring and quickly dried off before getting dressed. "Kilala! Go ahead and warn the guys!" Sango yelled to Kilala as she frantically got dressed. Kilala changed into her larger form and ran towards the direction of the village.
~ With The Guys ~
Kazuo and Miroku watched Shippo pout in the corner of the hut from their spots. Inuyasha was leaning against the wall watching the entrance, grumbling while he waited for Kagome and Sango to return from the hot spring. "We've been over this countless of times Ship. You're getting too big to bathe with the girls." Kazuo told him, he bit his lip and tried not to laugh when Shippo huffed and turned away from him to face the corner.
Glancing at Miroku, he chuckled softly when Miroku shrugged with an amused look on his face. "THE DEMON IS HERE!" They heard a villager yell followed by multiple screaming causing Kazuo, Inuyasha, and Miroku to quickly stand up and run outside.
They looked around trying to see the demon past the villagers running past them. "Inuyasha can you smell the demon?!" Miroku yelled over the screaming. He watched as Kazuo took a few steps forward and Inuyasha sniffed the air before growling loudly.
"She's coming this way!" Inuyasha yelled as he got into a battle stance along with Kazuo and Miroku and drew tetsusaiga only to stop halfway when he saw a blur tackle Kazuo. "BANKOTSU!"
Kazuo groaned and sat up as best as he could while gently pushing Emiko off of him. "I'm not Bankotsu, Emiko. My name's Kazuo, Higurashi Kazuo." He told her before blushing a little when he noticed that she was naked.
"So you're the one those two girls in the hot spring were talking about," Emiko said as she made mental notes to herself the differences between Kazuo and Bankotsu.
'His hair is much shorter and darker. His scent is sweet and spicy while Bankotsu's was spicy and earthy. He doesn't reek of blood.' She thought before she blinked owlishly when Kazuo put what she thought was his haori on her shoulders. 'He's also sweeter than Bankotsu too. Bankotsu would've just killed the men around me.' She thought as she put her arms through the sleeves before allowing Kazuo to button it; smirking as she listened to Kazuo mumble about her needing to care that men are seeing her naked.
Inuyasha sheathed the rest of his sword before he crossed his arms over his chest while he watched Kazuo interact with Emiko and seeing Kilala land next to him out the corner of his eye. 'This is the demon that's been harassing the village?!' He thought as he closed his eyes with an angry huff,
One of his ears twitched when and swirled towards where he could hear the sound of two people running towards them coming from. Looking to his right, he saw Kagome and Sango making their way towards them.
