THE AUTHOR IS STILL ALIVE, I SWEAR! Yes! I will be continuing this story! I found the hard-drive that had it saved on it and am soooooo happy I still have it! I hope all my readers haven't left me ;w;
BUT! I realised this chapter was MISSING from what I already have uploaded, so! Here's the Truth or Dare chapter some of you were anticipating! Enjoy!
The six plushies sat at the edge of the bed in boredom, not saying a word as they each stared down at Sparkplug; the puppy looking back up at them confused. He'd never seen them so quiet.
"So… should we do something?" Jazz suggested.
"Like what?" Blaster put in, poking his arm. "We're still drying from our little wash earlier, and Sky told us not to get into trouble."
"We… could play truth or dare…" Starscream spoke up softly; cringing a little when he felt the Autobots' optics on him.
"What's that?" Skyfire asked, tilting his head to one side in confusion. The seeker uncomfortably shifted in his spot beside him.
"Well… I-I don't entirely remember what you do but, Shelly always used to play it with us," he started. "If I remember, everyone takes a turn asking someone else for a truth or a dare. Whichever they answer with, the person who asked has to get them to do something related to what they've asked… I think…"
"Sounds interesting," Perceptor admitted, spinning around and sliding down the mattress-cover. "Let's play then, shall we?"
Once each plushieformer was on the ground and sitting in a circle; Sparkplug watching them curiously, they had a quick round of 'scissors, paper, rock' (after learning it from Skylar) to see who would go first. Blaster then sat back in thought.
"So… I just ask someone truth or dare, right?" he inquired; Starscream nodding. "Okay then… Prowl; truth or dare?"
The police-plushie sat forward in attention; his doorwings twitching a little.
"Mmm, I think I'll go with truth…" he replied, certain that the boom-box would get him to do something ridiculous if he'd said otherwise.
"Uhh…Hmm… Oh, I got one; how many times can you count that you've fallen off Sky's bed?"
"… Good question," Prowl insisted, leaning back a little. "If you count the times Skylar has pushed me off, probably… 13 times?"
"Yikes, no wonder your doorwings are getting bent out of shape…" Jazz joked. The police-plushie shot him a small glare.
"My turn then, I guess. Jazz; truth or dare?"
"Oh, okay," the saboteur insisted in slight surprise. "Because I'm feeling like a challenge… Dare."
Skyfire, Perceptor and Blaster each hid a giggle in their servos when they saw the knowing look playing in Prowl's optics. Starscream only sat and folded his arms in amusement. As soon as someone started daring, the game got more interesting…
"Okay Jazz, I dare you to go through Skylar's box of old doll's clothes, and wear the frilliest dress you can find until someone next asks you," Prowl dared with a smirk. Jazz looked horrified.
"Aw come on, Prowler! Ya can't be serious!" he exclaimed.
"He dared you; you've got to do it," Starscream spoke up; a grin playing on his lips. Jazz glared at him from behind his visor, getting up in frustration as he made his way over to Skylar's cupboard to search for the box.
"I don't know why she keeps them," Blaster explained, waiting for the outcome of the dare. "Ya think she secretly has plans to torture us with them?"
"Well, at least Jazz won't have to freak out when she does," Perceptor softly laughed, turning back when they heard a soft thud against the carpet; Jazz then peering out from under the pile of doll's dresses.
"I'm okay!" he quickly muttered before disappearing back under the clothes. Skyfire shot a glance at Starscream; the seeker meeting the shuttle's optics in confusion.
"What?"
"What, entirely do we do while we wait?" Skyfire wondered.
"We wait, of course," the seeker replied, indicating back in Jazz's direction. "Because he got dared, it's his turn to ask someone once he's finished playing dress-up…"
"I don't like this at all, Prowler…" the saboteur groaned, sitting back between the police-plushie and scientist in disapproval; Prowl and Perceptor failing to hide their laughter. The dress Jazz had managed to find was very frilly indeed; frills along the bottom hem and around the arm-sleeves.
It was pale-pink in colour and had a big white bow tied around the middle; which was already tied due to the dress being made for toys. Looking up, Jazz scowled when he noticed they were all in fits of giggles, realising he couldn't entirely stay mad at how silly he looked before laughing along with them.
"O-Okay, 'kay; enough. My turn now," he coughed, straightening out the dress after falling onto his side while laughing. "Alrighty… Skyfire; truth or dare?"
"Oh, truth please," Skyfire answered straight up, not really wanting to end up in the same state as the saboteur, and he probably wouldn't fit into one of the dresses being 5cm taller than the others.
"Knowing you… Um, well… Ahh, got one. Who in this room would be the worst, to be trapped in an elevator with?"
Skyfire sat back, meeting the others' optics as he thought over his answer.
"I guess it depends…" the shuttle began slowly. "See, either having you or Blaster would probably drive me insane for having to listen to your music the entire time, with Prowl it'd be too awkward… no offence."
The police-plushie held up a servo and slightly nodded his helm.
"None taken, Skyfire. I'm not a very talkative one either way in that situation," he admitted. The shuttle nodded and continued.
"It wouldn't be that bad if I were trapped with Starscream, unless he gets annoyed… And Perceptor and I have a lot to relate with, so… I guess it's down to Blaster and yourself, Jazz…"
The boom-box and saboteur exchanged a glance as though to debate who would be more annoying, but Starscream cut them off before they could get a word out.
"Don't forget to ask someone else 'truth or dare', Sky…" he murmured.
"O-Oh, right," the shuttle said quickly, looking up. "Blaster; truth or dare?"
"I'm going to go with a dare too… If ya got one for me," the boom-box insisted, shrugging. "So why not."
Skyfire sat in thought, thinking of some way to make Blaster feel completely silly; Starscream then poking his shoulder and whispering something in his audial. Skyfire pulled away with a grin.
"Okay, I dare you dance and sing to a song you really, absolutely hate. Once you finish the song, spin around five times and salute."
"… This isn't just cause I'm a music-making machine, is it?" Blaster asked blankly, getting up as Skyfire shook his helm. "Okay, let's see then…"
Skylar wasn't expecting to walk back into her bedroom finding the boom-box dizzily lying on his back on the floor while the other plushieformers were in fits of giggles. Confused she shut the door and walked over to them, sitting on the bed and watching them.
"And what did you all get up to?" she asked. Perceptor ran over to her first.
"Starscream suggested we play 'Truth or Dare'; it is actually very entertaining," he explained; said-Decepticon wandering over cautiously.
"That probably explains why Jazz is in a dress…" Skylar murmured with a giggle, looking up a little as Prowl called the two plushies back over so they could finish their game. Skylar followed and sat down behind them, wanting to see the end results.
"Okay, Blast has been de-dizzied," Jazz reported, steadying the boom-box with a quick shake of his shoulders. "Ask away, Blast!"
Blaster irritably shook his helm as he gathered his bearings, then looking over the two plushies that hadn't been asked yet.
"… Stars, truth or dare?" he asked.
Starscream growled softly at the nickname, but pushed it aside as he answered.
"Dare."
"I dare ya to kiss Sparkplug on the nose."
The seeker grimaced and glanced over his shoulder at the puppy; Sparkplug lying by Skylar's side, watching them intensely. Starscream couldn't help but admit he still scared him…
Cautiously he got up and wandered over to the dog and the girl; Sparkplug's tail twitching from side-to-side as the plushieformer approached him. Skylar calmly patted the dog's head.
"It's alright, Star; he won't bite you," she reassured with a smile; Starscream nervously returning it. When Sparkplug lifted his head as he got close, the seeker stopped in his tracks and let the dog sniff him. He couldn't help but giggle at the action…
Then sucking in his courage, Starscream placed his servos behind his back and leaning forward a little, he quickly gave Sparkplug a loving kiss on the muzzle; the puppy responding to that by licking the plushieformer up his front.
"Yuck!" the seeker whined, falling back onto the ground before bursting into giggles as Sparkplug nuzzled his head into his middle. By that time, Skylar and the other plushies were giggling, then falling silent as Starscream re-joined them. "Okay then, Perceptor; looks like it's your turn. Truth or dare?"
"Knowing Percy, he'd probably play it safe and go truth…" Jazz murmured to Blaster and Prowl. Perceptor tapped the side of his helm in thought overhearing them, then glanced at the Decepticon once he'd made his decision.
"… To be honest, I'm going to go with…" he paused, not entirely about to regret his decision. "Dare."
... I had to do a mental count and make sure I had all the correct plushieformers; haha x'D I'm writing side-stories connected to this one and Skylar has different/more plushies and I've gone and confused myself, hahaha whoops.
Anyways! I should have the next chapter of this up soon! The one after Perceptor forgave Starscream for his dare c: It gets cute after that x3
