April 30th
Apollo POV
"I'm telling you, it's not our fault!"
"So in other words you're saying the sparklers simply happened to set the drapes on fire at the table right next to a fire manipulator?" I smiled at the young demigod before turning to the goddess across from me. "Do you believe them?"
Calypso pretended to think it over before frowning and shaking her head, "Nope."
The son of Hephestus gave us an offended look. "I swear on the Styx that I had nothing to do with that fire!"
I raised one eyebrow and tried to keep a straight face, "Just like Percy had nothing to do with the sprinkler system suddenly kicking in and flooding the entire restaurant?"
The son of the sea god gave me a hurt look. "Why would I even want to do that?"
Calypso joined in to help me tease our boyfriends. "I don't know Percy, but I am pretty sure sprinklers are not supposed to be that powerful. The entire restaurant had a foot of water on the floor within minutes!"
I shook my head at my boyfriend. "She is right Percy. You know, if you didn't want to go on a double date, the two of you could have simply said so."
My boyfriend's expression morphed into one of offense. "I never said that! I was looking forward to this evening. Yes the sprinkles broke, but that doesn't..." He suddenly trailed off and his eyes widened before he turned to me with a frown. "This is payback for me telling you that you were taking too long to get ready... isn't it?"
I smiled and wrapped an arm around my boyfriend before kissing his forehead, "Took you long enough."
The goddess finally broke down and started giggling. "You should have seen your faces."
Once the son of the smith god realized what was going on, he gave us a disbelieving look. "That wasn't funny. I thought that the two of you were actually blaming us."
The immortal goddess gave her boyfriend an apologetic look. "I'm sorry Leo."
The instant he saw her face, he shook his head and softly chuckled. "It's okay. I can't lie; I probably would have done the same thing." Calypso blush when he took her hand in his.
I smiled at the sweet action before turning to my own irate boyfriend. "What about you? Do you forgive me too?" I was met with silence and a pouting baby seal face. Clearly he wasn't in a forgiving mood. I sighed and nudged his hip with my own. "I'm sorry Perce. What if I made it up to you by agreeing to that group movie night you've been wanting?"
His eyes instantly shot to mine. His surprise quickly changed to glee, "Really? Can we do it tonight?"
I made a mental note to put that painting away and nodded. "Sure, whatever you'd like."

Percy POV
Since it was last minute, not everyone could come. Reyna was going out with some of her other friends, Frank and Hazel had already planned a date night, and Annabeth was trying to finish the plans for Adeona's temple this week. I felt bad that they were missing out, but I knew that this wasn't going to be a onetime thing. Once everyone else realized how awesome it was to have a TV again, they would no doubt want to come over more often.
While we waited for everyone to arrive, we had to rearrange the house a bit. We brought in the four chairs from the kitchen and set them out in Apollo's bedroom. I tried to convince him not to, but the sun god insisted on hiding our painting. I thought that it was awesome, but he clearly disagreed. I couldn't understand it. Was it embarrassing? Of course, but it was also hilarious.
Apollo and I had narrowed our movie selection down to three when we heard a knock on the door. I answered it and Jason and Piper waved.
"Hey guys, come on in." Before I could even close the door, I saw Leo appear at the top of the stairs so I waited. The fire manipulator and the goddess smiled as they walked past me into the apartment, and I closed the door behind them.
When I got back to the main living area, the son of Zeus and the daughter of Aphrodite were looking around the living room.
"Since everyone's here, do you guys want to help pick the movie? Fred and I have it narrowed down to the first Pirates of the Caribbean, Iron Man, and Sherlock Homes."
Jason shook his head. "I still can't believe you never told us you guys had a T.V."
I grimaced. "As I told you earlier, I swear, I thought I had."
The golden boy shrugged, "Nope, not before today at least."
The daughter of Aphrodite nodded. "He's right Percy, I definitely would have remembered if you'd said you had T.V. We would have been over weeks ago for a movie night."
"I am sorry you guys."
The son of Jupiter shook his head and grinned. "Don't worry about it. We're just teasing you. I am curious though, how'd you get it?"
"It was all Fred."
They turned to the sun god and I had to keep from wincing. I should have thought through what I said before I spoke. I wasn't sure how he was going to explain that one.
He paused for a moment as he gathered his thoughts.
"Well, you know how Percy and I killed the Nemean Lion? Hephaestus heard that I had the skin." The other four were obviously listening closely. Fortunately none of them asked how he'd heard. Otherwise Apollo would have had to tell them that he was the one who told the smith god and that would raise even more questions. "Anyway, he wanted the skin, so he offered me one of his T.V.'s for it. He even through in the DVD player and surround sound."
Piper nodded and tilted her head in consideration. "I didn't even know that there were televisions that could be used in New Rome. I wonder if Leo could make one."
The son of Hephaestus looked thoughtful for a minute. While he was thinking, his hands started building. "I'm not sure. Maybe, if I had a chance to look at it first."
Apollo chuckled and wrapped an arm around my waist. "From what I've heard of your inventions, I think you might. Back to our original topic though, which movie would everyone like to watch?"
Piper tapped on her chin for a moment. "Definitely not Pirates of the Caribbean. I've seen that movie about a hundred times."
Leo smirked, "Let me guess, you had a crush on Johnny Depp?"
The beauty queen rolled her eyes, "Hardly. But I did used to want to be a pirate when I grew up."
Her boyfriend laughed. "I can totally see that."
The son of Hephaestus put up his hand and started waving it furiously in the air, like he was trying to get a teachers attention. Apollo raised one eyebrow and smiled, "Yes Leo?"
"I vote Sherlock Homes."
I couldn't keep the surprise off my face, "Really? I thought you'd want Iron Man." I had specifically added iron Man to the pile because I thought Leo would like it.
He nodded. "I do love that move, but I love Sherlock Homes more. I know I'm already insanely hot, but I want the ability to look at 17 sesame seeds and say, 'Ah ha. I see that you had three guests over for breakfast at precisely 7:34 this morning'!"
Jason smiled and joined in. "You're guests were animal lovers. There are two white hairs, clearly from a cat, a Persian, second in a litter of seven."
I chuckled. "Obviously you were discussing the stolen diamonds due to the ashes of the burnt newspaper clipping that is in your trash. There is a smudge of fine black powder on the bottom of your table and the dirt outside your door tells me that the jewels are hidden in a mineshaft located in Iceland."
The daughter of Aphrodite laughed and through her hand, one finger extended, into the air. "Eureka! We have you now Moriarty."
At that, the group broke down into laughter. It took a few minutes before we were able to continue our original conversation.
The god of music looked around at our friends, "Alright. I think we can all agree, Sherlock Homes it is."
They all nodded. I smiled and rubbed my hands together. "Alright then, let's go put it on."

Apollo POV
I smiled at Percy's enthusiasm. "I think we should get our snacks first so we don't have to pause the movie later."
Jason nodded, "That makes sense. I volunteer Leo to get the drinks."
Leo jerked his head towards the golden boy. "Hey!"
The son of the sea god laughed. "I second that and I volunteer Fred to make the popcorn."
I raised an eyebrow, but it was all I could do not to smile at my boyfriends antics. "I don't think that the two of you understand the concept of volunteering."
My half brother shrugged. "Oh no, we do. But it's more fun to do it this way."
The 4 who hadn't been volunteered laughed. Percy nodded his head towards the hall. "Come on guys; we'll start the previews while we wait. Just wait till you see the T.V, you're going to want to come over all the time."
Calypso gave her boyfriend a stealthy kiss on the cheek before following my sea prince to my room. I smiled to myself turned to the son of Hephaestus. "I'll toss the popcorn in the microwave if you want to go get settled too."
The fire manipulator shook his head and continued fiddling with whatever it was he was currently building. "No, it's okay Fred. I'll wait to help you carry everything."
I shrugged and went to start the popcorn. While it was popping, I dug out some bowls. I noticed Leo poking around our living room, his ADHD keeping him from being able to stand still. I smiled, doubly glad that I had hidden that painting. I didn't want to be ridiculed for it twice in one day.
I had just set the bowls on the counter when I heard a gasp coming from the living room, followed by the sound of something hitting the carpet. I turned to see the son of Hephaestus staring open mouthed at one of the bookcases like he'd just seen a ghost, his current creation forgotten on the floor where it'd fallen.
I frowned. "Leo? Are you alright?"
All the blood drained out of his face as he turned to look at me. I took a step towards him and he immediately stepped back. I froze and raised my hands, palms towards him in an unthreatening manner, trying to figure out what could have caused the sudden change in his behaviour.
Before I could ask again he found his voice and with it his anger. "How could you. Does Percy know?"
Usually I was fairly good at understanding what was going on, but on this one I was completely lost. "Does Percy know what?"
He straightened his shoulders and glared at me, trying to hide the fact that his hands were still shaking with fear. "That you're actually Apollo."

Authors Note
DUN DUN DUUUUNNNN!
*Cough* I could think up a ton of excuses for my very long absence but it boils down to three things. The worst writer's block I've ever had, lack of motivation, and life simply getting away from me.
In case you were wondering as to what happened to their date...
This is not what I had originally planned, but I tried everything I could think of to get by my writers block. Changing the entire theme of their date night was the only way that I could get back to writing. That date just isn't going to happen. It was too normal, too boring, it simply does not have a place in this story. So hopefully you enjoyed this just as much.
Next update will be July 25th
Next Chapter:
The son of Hephaestus narrowed his eyes and took a stance that was far more confrontational. "Don't lie to me. I know who you are."
I felt my heart rate spike. I had never wished I could lie as much as I did at that moment...
