Personal Comments: Really been loving Madoka Magica lately. On Friday I watched episodes 10 and 11. Really powerful episodes. And then pretty much the whole weekend, I haven't been able to think about anything other than Madoka. It's so sad that I'm on the last episode already. I want more! So I'm reluctant to watch the last episode and put an end to it all. We'll get the third movie eventually, but I'll have to wait for a subbed version to be released. Wish I had more time to read and write more fanfics. So many fanfic ideas for the show have popped into my mind lately.

Such ideas include a crossover with Bayonetta, where the five girls face off against Jublies who is a witch. There's a story where the girls have to survive a zombie apocalypse together. A short humor fic in which the girls tease Kyubey with a laser dot pointer. In another story I imagined, they travel around the world to vanquish 4 very powerful witches known as "The Four Sisters", meeting more magical girls on the way and bonding on their travels. In the end they face off against a fifth sister that the other four were just holding back. This is pretty much based on Dragons of Deltora.

Another one of those ideas is where the five main girls decide to work together to survive and share their grief seeds and stand united against Kyubey's trickery. And so in order to get his flow going again, Kyubey (or also possibly some of the smarter witches) decides to hire a hitman from another franchise to try and kill the girls and harvest their energy.

Some such assassins I've come up with include Slenderman, Pennywise, Deadpool, Chester V, Oswald Mandus, The Regent of the Mask, Demongo, and Cthulhu. Might write a few more drabbles about these guys. It's kind of hard to come up with a legitimate threat other than witches for the girls, since Homura's time magic makes her pretty much over powered or unbeatable. She's like the Doctor Manhattan of the five girls.

Sayaka is still my favorite. A lot of fans of the show don't like her because of how she treated Homura and Kyoko when they tried to reach out to her. Me, I think that can be attributed to a few things; the bad first impressions Kyoko and Homura had given her, her soul gem getting corrupted, and having her heart broken by Kyosouke. Episodes 10 and 11 definitely gave me a new perspective on Homura as well.

I gotta say something else. I've become guilty about being so big on shipping, and for thinking romance for a lot of relationships where the characters are likely intended to stay as friends (*Cough, MLP). For example in Madoka, Homura goes back in time so many times and suffers so much and works so hard all for Madoka's sake. She has said that it's for her closest friend, Madoka. It seems here they're suppose to be expressing the strength and power of friendship, and how because Homura cares for Madoka so much, because their friendship is so strong, that she's willing to go through all this for her. But then you got everyone who ships the two and says they have a romance, and instead making it about the power of love. Have you seen the Nostalgia Critic's Top 11 Dumbest Lord of the Rings moments? He has had similar thoughts on Frodo and Sam's relationship. Still, personally, I also fall into that bandwagon, I ship Madoka and Homura together. But then maybe I don't know; maybe they are intended to be a couple. After all, the show's creator confirmed that if Sayaka and Kyoko had survived, they would have become a couple.

Next weekend is a big weekend. Gonna be the Season 4 premier of MLP. That's the main thing I care about. But there's also going to be the premier of Catching Fire, and something big for Doctor Who. Not as big a fan of Hunger Games or Doctor Who personally, but a lot of guys at my college are big fans of those shows. You got all these hot franchises moving forward, and my focus is on one that's not as hot right now. Kinda feel down about that.

This also kind of has a personal meaning to me. I've been having a problem with one of my best friends that similar to this issue Sayaka's had with Homura and Kyoko; he's been trying to help me, and I've spat in his face because the truth he speaks hurts, made me think about suicide in fact. I know deep down though that he's trying to help me.

Even Chester's line. In the movie he says "I'm not alone. I have holograms." I made up my own version to fit me: "I'm not alone. I have the internet!" I think it's funny that friendship was a major theme in the movie, something like that from a Brony's point of view. I actually think Chester and Pinkie Pie would get along, considering they both like smiling and parties.

While writing this, I listened to "Sorrowful Eyes" from the Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm soundtrack, and "Pugna Infinita" from the Madoka Magica soundtrack.

Sayaka raised her sword and held it straight and Chester's chest, the tip gently pressing into his orange lab vest. She continued to step forward aggressively, forcing the old man to step back to avoid getting impaled.

"Hands up!" Sayaka ordered. "Give me back my friends!" She stopped forcing him back to give the old man a chance to speak.

"Of course!" He said, his irritating, creepy smile never faltering. "They're right here." He gestured Barb at his side, as she pushed a button on the control panel.

From a bubble in the wall high above, all four girls popped out from a long pole, all tied together tightly in a cluster of barbed wire.

"Sayaka!" Kyoko exclaimed happily.

"You came for us!" Madoka added.

"Girls!" Sayaka called out. "Don't worry. I'll get you down from there!" She turned back to Chester, her blade still aimed at his heart. "Chester, let them go!" She ordered.

"Oh, don't worry, Ms. Miki, I'll let them go." He turned to Barb again as she pressed another button.

In the middle of the platform, a huge whole opened up, revealing a giant meat grinder.

"Right into my super-sized food bar machine!" Chester cheered.

"Food bars?" The four girls exclaimed.

"Food bars?" Sayaka repeated. "You mean you're going to turn them into food bars?"

"Yes, food bars," Chester smiled blissfully. "The lifeline of my company." He brought up a hologram to show his food bar label. He then brought up another to show Kyubey, and then a few more as he started to explain his story.

"You see, Kyubey promised me that if I took care of you girls, he'd grant my wish for my product to be the healthiest and best tasting meals in the world. He's already given me a large supply, but he revealed that the key ingredient is the meat of you magical girls!"

"You're a monster!" Madoka shouted, her voice a mix of horror and anger.

"Jesus Christ, dude!" Kyoko screamed. "You mean you grind up humans for your bars?" She started convulsing and spitting into the machine. "I can't believe I ate so many of your meat bars!"

"Yes, that was quite foolish on your part," Chester chuckled. He turned back to Sayaka. "Anyway, Sayaka, if you want your friends back, I suggest you drop your sword."

Sayaka gritted her teeth. She didn't like being held to make a choice like this. But she'd never let her friends get hurt because of her stubbornness. She huffed and dropped her sword. She remembered she could simply conjure up a new sword anyway. It would take more magic energy, but it would be worth it.

"Alright fine, here." She said. She threw her blade to the side, letting it fall of the side of the platform and into the abyss below.

"Oh, by the way, I changed my mind," Chester said mockingly.

Sayaka shot him a deathly glare and contemplated her next move.

"Barb, grind them," Chester smiled.

Barb hesitated. "But sir, I didn't think-"

"This is why I work alone!" Chester snapped, grabbing the controller from her. Almost instantly turning to anger. "Monkey! You are dismissed!"

A sad-looking Barb scooted away on her hover scooter.

Chester turned back to Sayaka, his smile restored to it's original creepiness. "And now, without further adieu..." He pressed the button on the controller, and the crane started to lower the girls toward the grinder...

The girls struggled and groaned and cursed. The crane was descending surprisingly slowly.

"Why won't this go faster?" Chester huffed frustratingly. He continued to jab the controller with his finger.

Sayaka saw her window of opportunity.

"Give me that controller!" She shouted as she lunged at Chester. But with his snake-like reflexes, Chester evaded her, as she slid on the ground but managed to roll up to her knee.

"Sure!" Chester said mockingly, holding it out before him. "Come and get it!"

As he finished, suddenly waves of pixels shot out from his body, as dozens and dozens of holograms of himself appeared all around Sayaka, just like Agent Smith in The Matrix.

Soon the platform was flooded with Chester holograms, all laughing and smiling and dancing. Sayaka's eyes frantically scanned around the room, trying to look for a hint at which Chester was the real man.

She reached behind her cloak, and whipped out two dual-weild blades. She charged at the first hologram closest to her.

She swung and sliced right through the hologram, shattering the pixels, and falling through as though she had been swinging at the empty space.

She glanced over her shoulder in time to see the pixelated hologram divide into two more. Both smiling and waving the controller before her, mocking her with it, and dancing as though their legs were strands of spaghetti.

"So which one of us has it?" Chester's voice asked. Sayaka's eyes darted around the platform, frantically trying to locate the source of the voice.

"Is it me?" She felt a tap on her shoulder, and spun around- only to get slapped across the face by a swift and strong hand.

She slashed at the arm, but it got away too quickly.

"Or me?" She was pushed from behind and tumbled forward, though being able to catch her fall and jump back to her feet with expert acrobatics.

She cursed under her breath. She had not perceived the old man to be any sort of threat. She would have to remain on her guard now.

Up in the net, Mami whispered to Kyoko. "Hey, didn't we once fight a witch who did something like this?"

"Do what?" Kyoko asked, irritation in her voice.

"Using doppelgängers to confuse us."

"Oh yeah, I think we did once," Kyoko nodded. "You remember how we beat it?"

"I think we just kept attacking until they were all gone and we hit the real one," Mami shrugged.

"Oh, right," Kyoko slumped. She looked down at Sayaka still slashing her way through the hoard of holograms.

"Come on Sayaka!" She cheered for her friend. "You can do it! Don't give up!"

Madoka nudged Homura and asked, "Homura, can you reach your time shield?"

Homura grunted and struggled for a moment. "Damn it!" She hissed. "I can't! It's too tight!"

Sayaka sliced and sliced and sliced. Each time she would cut a hologram down, two or three more would regenerate in its place.

She thought she could just keep slashing until she cut Chester. But then suddenly-

"Freeze ray!" Several holograms pulled out a small blue pistol from their pockets, and fired a blue laser at Sayaka.

Quickly thinking, Sayaka dove out of the way of the blast.

She rolled to her knees, and sprung to her feet, on her guard once again.

Now she was worried. Not only was Chester now armed, but now with the help of his holograms, he could confuse her even more. She had no way of knowing which blast was the real one, where it would come from.

Each hologram held the freeze ray in one hand, the controller in the other. And each was still laughing and dancing.

Another high-pitched whine from the blasters, and another shot of blue. Sayaka rolled again, evaded, dodged. One blast came for her. She was not agile enough to dodge this one.

She raised her sword to block. The beam made contact, and instantly encased the blade in ice. Sayaka dropped the blade before the crawling ice reached her fingers. Another shot from her side. She ducked. Another blast from behind went right through her. A hologram.

Another blast hit her foot. She cried in agony as the ice gripped her foot tightly. She tried to pull her leg free, but the ice was too strong.

Another blast was coming. She quickly threw her remaining sword at the beam, stopping it in midair. She pulled out another blade from her cloak, and slammed the hilt on the ice holding her foot, shattering it.

She rolled again before another shot hit her and froze the spot she stood on seconds ago.

She thought to try the seamstress dance she had practiced. She spun around, making a long wave with her cape, and instantly causing several swords to appear under. Still spinning, she grabbed two swords at a time, and hurled them in the directions of the holograms. Several waves of holograms were shattered, until more appeared. This was much faster than she had been doing before, but still, she could not find the real Chester. He continued to evade her blades, whereever he was in the mob.

Until-

*Clunk! "Ah!" *Shrnnng! Sparks flew from the grinder. Sayaka realized she must have disarmed Chester. He had lost his gun! This would make things easier for her. But Chester was still swift and cunning. Surly he could continue to evade her with this strategy a little longer.

She glanced at her friends, and saw they were sinking into the grinder faster. She suddenly realized that she may not able to save them.

She took a second to breath as dread and despair began to take over her. She could not let them go without a farewell. She had to say something. There was something she needed to get off her chest.

"Girls, listen," she called out to them. They turned their gazes toward her. Mami struggled with this, since she was on the end opposite of Sayaka.

Another wave of Chester holograms was behind her, Sayaka swung at them again. They dissolved, but no Chester. She turned back to her friends.

"I'm sorry for being such a jerk, and an idiot," she said, meaning every syllable she said.

"Uh, Sayaka," Kyoko shouted back frantically, "now may not be the best time."

Sayaka jumped up for the Sparrow dance, drawing out swords from her cloak and hurling them down below her in a fierce barrage of blades. Again, no Chester in the mass of holograms she hit.

"Please, just let me finish," she continued as she hit the ground. "I realize now you were just trying to help me, and I should have listened and given you all a chance."

"Yeah, you really should have," Homura replied.

"Well, I guess Homura and I DID make a bad first impression on you, after all," Kyoko shrugged, forgetting the danger for a moment.

Sayaka continued to slash through a mob of holograms, frantically searching for Chester, but still to no avail.

"I know now that I need each and every one of you guys," Sayaka continued. "You said it yourself, Madoka." Madoka's eyes and ears perked up. "The five of us are in this together. All we've got now is each other. You're more than my friends; you're my family."

She felt a hand pull on her cloak from behind and yank her to the floor, making her slide across the sleek floor with a grating screech that made Madoka and Mami cringe.

"Oh, that's a laugh," Chester chuckled as he stood above Sayaka. "More of that 'Friendship is Magic' crap! I'll be sure to put that on their tombstones for you."

Enraged, Sayaka sprung to her feet and slashed at Chester.

-Only for her blade to slice through another hologram.

The real Chester then grabbed her cape again from behind and wrapped it up around Sayaka's head, disorienting and blinding her as he kicked her.

As she stumbled back and struggled to maintain her balance, Chester's voice started laughing.

"Look out!" Madoka screamed. "He's got your sword!"

Relying purly on instinct, and fighting back panic, Sayaka stayed focused, and tried to focus on Chester's voice, trying to predict when he would land the blade.

She swung her own. *Clang! Her blade clashed with his.

"Woah!" She heard Chester stumble back. She could clearly easily outmuscle him.

She fidgeted with her cape to straighten it out before he attacked again.

"Don't you see, Ms. Miki?" Chester asked. "Having friends will only double your suffering as a magical girl. Just look at poor Ms. Akemi. Look at how much pain and effort she suffered just for the sake of one lousy friend!"

Homura growled from the crane bindings. How dare he call Madoka lousy.

"Yeah?" Sayaka retorted. "Well you know who saved her from any more pain and suffering? That very same friend you think is lousy! Madoka." She finally got her cloak straightened out, and returned to her defensive stance.

"And you know who saved me when I was being eaten away by despair and loneliness? These girls!" She gestured her four friends. "They were there for me because they are my friends. We may have our differences and disagreements, but we always have each other's backs. It's better than having to face everything alone like you and Kyubey."

"Well, I can't speak for Kyubey," Chester replied. "But me, I'm not alone!"

He kicked Sayaka to the ground, earning a grunt from her. "I got holograms!"

(Skip a little. I didn't think about how the rest of the fight would go. In the end, Sayaka wins though. Maybe by using a laser dot pointer to summon Kyubey and have him push a button. Chester tries to escape after the girls are safe, but they catch him and tie him up. They wonder if they should kill him or not. Madoka argues that he's another human being, not a monster like the witches. One of the others argue that if they don't kill him, he'll come after them again. They vote, and vote to kill him. Not sure who gets the honor of killing him. Chester's last words are calling that girl a b*tch.)
