Personal Comments: I got the Bioshock Infinite board game; Siege of Columbia. It's pretty cool. It was fun. A little tricky at first, but just cause we're both noobs. Once you know what you're doing, it's a pretty fun game. Captures so much of the game very well. One thing I noticed was that both the Founders and Vox have 4 leaders in the game; The Founders have Comstock, Fink, Saltonstall, and some original character. The Vox meanwhile have Fitzroy, Slate, and two original characters. Well, they're either original characters, or very minor canon characters that may or may not have had voxophones in the video game.

Got me thinking about Infinite again. Such a great game. Good times. Maybe I should take some time to read some more fanfics for Infinite sometime.

Just got this one idea about if Fink and Comstock were friends. In another fanfic I read, apparently Comstock had it in his will that if Elizabeth was unavailable, Fink would get everything in Comstock's name.

Another glorious night at Comstock's house. He was having another banquet for all the founders to celebrate their success and dominance. There was dancing and drinking fine wine in the ballroom, and a grand dinner was almost ready in the dining hall.

Before dinner, Comstock called Fink aside and the two of them walked into Comstock's private office, each with a wine glass in hand.

"Certainly is a find swing here tonight, eh Zach?" Fink chuckled before taking another sip. "I tell ya, it just doesn't get much finer than this!"

"I couldn't agree more," Comstock replied with a smile. "But while we're both here, I wanted to talk about a matter of business. It's just a little serious."

"Okay, what is it?" Fink asked, calming down and preparing to listen.

"Well, first off, I'll be honest. It's about a decision I've made. I was reluctant to make it at first. It involves you." Comstock rubbed his temples with one hand.

Fink started to look worried. "Oh, come on Zach! Don't tell me you're cutting me loose!"

"No no!" Zachary replied, waving his hands in defense. "Nothing like that. You see..." He hesitated, and took a breath before continuing. Jeremy, I wasn't sure I could trust you with something as big as this. In fact, I thought maybe as soon as you heard of this, you'd see to it that I'd be killed off."

"WOAH WOAH!" Jeremy stammered defensively. "Zach! Don't talk like that! I'd never do that to you!" Jeremiah rested a hand on Zach's shoulder. "Look even if we weren't friends, if anything were to happen to you, it'd be REALLY bad for my business. First off, I wouldn't want the Prophet's blood on my hands. Second, If anything were to happen to you, my company would be in HUGE trouble!"

Comstock smiled at some of these reminders. "You do have some good points. You have been a good friend to me. And you are very loyal to Columbia's ideals and beliefs." He took another breath and continued. "Well Jeremiah Fink, you are my successor."

Jeremiah paused and stared back at Zachary a moment, mouth agape and eyes wide. Zachary explained that he had written out his will with his lawyer earlier that day.

Initially, Elizabeth was the one who was entitled to Comstock's inheritance, as she was the one destined to lead Columbia on its glorious path to victory. However, Elizabeth needed to be twenty-one to inherit Comstock's will. So if something happens to Comstock, and Elizabeth is either underage or dead or otherwise unable to perform her duties, then everything in Comstock's name would go to Fink.

Fink was stunned by all this; to know that Comstock trusted him with so much blew his mind. He calmly and elegantly expressed his gratitude and promised Comstock he would not let him down. The two had a hearty handshake and left the office to join the other guests for dinner.

Later, in his private study, Fink was pacing at his desk, talking to his voxophone.

I can't believe it. Comstock trusts me. My name is in his will. All that would have to happen is for him to die. Elizabeth isn't old enough yet. If something were to happen to him, everything would be mine. The big chair at the Founders' table, the bank of Columbia, the military, custody over Elizabeth. If just one man dies...

I know Comstock is younger than me. I know he's going to outlive me. The only way I would inherit dictatorship of Columbia from him is if something were to happen to him.

Pfffft! What am I saying? I don't need to rule all of Columbia! I'm the head and owner of a great company! A very successful company! We make a lot of money, and we play a very fulfilling role in Columbia. Why, we're pretty much the backbone of Columbia! That's probably why Comstock trusts me so much, because of how I keep Columbia running and how my company stays true to Columbia's ideals.

Eh. I'm a man of business. Not so much politics. Am I right?

Besides, again, Zachary's my friend. We've been running this show together for a long time, him and me. How could I possibly live with myself if I were to arrange something?

I... I could use a tall, cold glass of brandy.
