Title: Me in my Happy Place 2
Premise: After a day at work, Werdna takes me back to my happy place to meet with the characters of my current favorite franchises/obsessions. Mainly Madoka Magica. Many others though. Crack-ish.

Personal Comments: So at work today, I asked out this girl, and got a lot of thoughts spinning. Gonna share a few here. Listened to various songs by Kesha and Paramore while writing this.
After another 30-minute drive, I finally arrived home, went upstairs, cooked and ate my pizza dinner, took a shower, shaved, and finally got to sit down. looked down at the computer screen, and let my mind wander off.
Next thing I knew, I was in a familiar grand dining room. Only instead of a dinner, I seemed to have walked into a cocktail party of various shows. I recognized characters from Madoka Magica, Skyrim, Naruto, The Walking Dead, Grand Theft Auto, The Powerpuff Girls, Samurai Jack, Attack on Titan, and My Little Pony.
"No need to point them all out," a voice explained. "Most of these characters are just here for show, just to get out your current obsessions. A lot of these guys won't have any lines in this chapter. Most of 'em will just stand around and drink."
I turned to my right to face Deadpool. Of course.
"Hey," I said.
"Hey!" he replied. "Man, I could really go for a few more beers."
"Don't taunt me about beer, please."
"Take it easy man! You're still in college! Plenty of chances to drink!"
"Yeah, I guess you're right."
"You're still gonna get my game sometime soon, right?"
"Yeah, I'm sure it will be funny. My roommate and I will have fun with it."
"Good! You better!" Deadpool's tone changed to a more threatening one as he drew his sword. "Or I'll cut you!"
"Take it easy, Wade," a new voice called out. I looked at a familiar figure, my own height, wrapped in a black cloak, approaching me. Werdna, my split personality. In his arms he was cradling a tiny pig. Kenny, the micro pig I fantasized of adopting when I grew up and made enough money to do so.
"Welcome back, Andrew," he said. He patted my back and led me and Deadpool through the crowd. "How have you been? I know you had a good early Father's Day."
He also handed Kenny over to me. I held him in my arms. He let out a few little oinks. I gently rubbed his soft, hairy back. Deadpool also handed me a beer. Budweiser. My favorite. I held the beer in one hand, and Kenny in the other.
"Yeah," I nodded. "Mike and I took him to see 22 Jump Street, which was a lot of fun. Not quite as funny as the first one, but still pretty good. Still had some funny moments."
"I know it gave you a lot of thoughts about creativity," said the voice of Freddy Krueger, who joined the three of us, holding a glass of whisky.
"Yeah, that's right, Fred," I said with a nod. "I mean it was aware of the tropes that made the first movie great, and really went out of its way to play with those tropes and use them, even breaking the forth wall a few times. But at the same time it wasn't just a rehash of the first one. It did add some new stuff."
"Yeah, good thoughts," Freddy said, giving me a light punch in the arm with his non-gloved hand.
"Getting back to Father's Day," Werdna continued, "After the movie you went to that italian place, gave him his gift card to that winery, and had a great dinner and some great talks about things. Truly a wonderful evening you all had together, am I right?"
"Yeah, great night," I said.
"Okay, that's out of the way," Deadpool interjected. "Now let's get down to the meat of this chapter." He slung an arm around my shoulders. "Someone here asked a girl out today!"
"Oh yeah, nice going, kid!" Freddy gave me a firm slap on the back, though not so hard he hurt my spine or anything.
"Yeah," I said. "She's another lifeguard at the place I work at. She's super hot and I mean I knew her since last year. I didn't have the balls to ask her out a year ago, but by now, I've learned that the fear of rejection is worse than rejection."
"Courage Wolf quote!" Deadpool giggled. He passed by Pinkie Pie and slapped her a high five.
"Yeah," I nodded. "So I just went for it. And she said yes!"
"Well, it was sort of yes, sort of no," Freddy corrected.
"Close enough," I shrugged. "She just said she couldn't this week because she's going on a one-week trip to California."
Rarity joined our conversation, just as Werdna lead us to the four main girls of Madoka Magica; Mami, Madoka, Homura, Sayaka, and Kyoko.
"These fine young women were a bit concerned about today's events," Werdna explained. "Please, continue."
"So yeah. Hopefully maybe we'll go out to a movie after she gets back."
"Well, what if she get's a boyfriend by then?" Freddy asked. "What if she already has one and doesn't think this is a date? What if she's just being a tease with you like that other girl from high school? What was her name? Kerry? Or what if things don't go as smoothly as you're hoping on the date? What if at one point she starts getting too serious?"
"Mr. Krueger!" Rarity snapped. "Do not torture the poor boy with your negative thoughts!" She splashed her martini in his face.
"Sheesh I'm just kidding around with the guy!" Freddy groaned. "Can't a guy have some fun?"
"It's okay," I said. "These thoughts have crossed my mind. If it doesn't work out, it just doesn't. That's it. No biggie. I mean I'm not really looking for a really serious relationship."
"Yeah, and it's just one date, right?" Sayaka added. "Just go on with the date and see what happens."
"Yes, that is a good way to put it," added a new voice. Our group was joined by Shamiel, the Dark Elf Mage. The Dragonbourne I created for Skyrim. His face was hidden by the blue mask he always wore. He held a wine glass in one hand.
"Do you really want this?" Homura asked, her voice in a serious tone.
"I don't know what I want," I admitted. "I just know I've been feeling lonely lately, been wanting someone to hold and make out with. Don't need sex necessarily, just holding and making out is good enough for me."
"And we all know OKCupid isn't helping all that much," Deadpool chuckled.
"We're just worried that you may be putting this above your fanfiction life," Mami explained.
"Don't be ridiculous!" I sneered. "I wouldn't possibly put a girl above you guys! You all know fiction is a huge part of my life. I'm not dumping any of you! Just... is it wrong to want some emotional human contact? Or whatever? Is it wrong to want to hold someone attractive in your arms?"
"Nope," Kyoko snickered, putting one arm around Sayaka, and the other around Homura. "Lust. Romance. It's is totally normal."
Jar Jar then staggered through our circle, momentarily interrupting us. There was a sway in his step. He was clearly drunk off his ass. He was muttering some weird Gungan-accented stuff under his breath. I heard him say something about Pitbull.
"But again, Andrew," Werdna said, patting my back. "You should feel good that you did this. You made a move, grew a pair, and now it seems you got something going for ya! And we'll just see how it plays out!"
"Yeah, we will," I nodded. "And yeah. I am proud of myself for making this move. I'm looking forward to our movie date."
"That's the spirit boy!" Shamiel said, raising his wine glass. "And be sure to share your experience with Ethan and Austin like you were saying earlier."
"I will," I nodded.
"Kenny and Clementine were joking earlier that Lee and Carly are probably smiling down on you," Freddy chuckled.
"Just please don't forget us," Madoka pleaded, her hands clasped. "You still have so many of our stories to read and write!"
"I'll... try," I said hesitantly. "I don't want to just drop those couple of stories with you guys that I'm working on. I really did get excited about them. It's just... other stuff, you know?"
"Yeah sure," Sayaka shrugged, disappointment evident in her voice.
Freddy and Deadpool went off together to play a drinking game together. Rarity left to rejoin her friends. As I watched her leave, I could see her circle of friends, and I could see Twilight Sparkle and Applejack making out. The five magical girls left, saying something about going to Madoka's house for a slumber party.
I handed Kenny back to Werdna, after giving the little guy one last pat on the head, looking forward to the day I would adopt a pig as cute as him.
"Ta-ta for now," Werdna said warmly as he tapped me on the shoulder.
I found myself back in my room that instant, looking at my computer, and holding my Kyubey doll in my lap.
