A/N: Thanks for the reviews, favorites and follows. I'm really sorry about the slow update... I've been too busy to do any writing lately and I don't like it because I would rather sit and write or read all day than... participate in well life... That sounds weird but oh well. I hope you like this chapter

Chapter eight:
Tori's POV:
Jade looks so peaceful when she's sleeping, I notice as I am the first to wake up. She's leaning on my left arm so I can't exactly get up so I just say here and watch her chest rise and fall as she sleeps. Her eyes flutter and I smile because I think that means she's dreaming. About what I don't know but I realize she's beautiful when she's dreaming…. Wait, hold up! What did I just think?
"Stop watching me sleep" She mumbles, obviously irritated. I scoff at her.
"Well if you get off of my arm, I can find something better to do, like make us coffee" I say, annoyed. She sits up straight and smiles, actually smiles at me.
"Thanks, Vega" Jade beams, I give her an odd look as I get up to go to the kitchen.
"Someone's bright and chirpy for six o clock in the morning!" I observe, frowning at her a little.
"Sorry, would you prefer grouchy?" Jade asks, sarcastically.
"It's the Jade West that I'm used to" I mutter as I start the kettle. Jade gets up out of her seat and makes her way over to the kitchen, she jumps up on the counter and shrugs at me.
"You mentioned coffee" She explains, picking at her clothes.
"I did" I say, as I pour the hot water in her mug and stir the instant coffee.
"So… What do you have planned today?" Jade wonders, tilting her head sideways I glance in her direction and watch her intently as I hand her, her coffee and she drinks it closing her eyes… as if it was more than just a mug of coffee. She looks up at me for a second her eyebrows raise a little and I realize it looks as if I had been staring at her cleavage, which I do have clear sight of.
"Staring at my tits, Vega?" She questions, I look away.
"I wasn't… I didn't mean to" I mumble. Jade just shrugs and goes back to her coffee.
"Jade" I say, quietly but it was loud enough for her to hear because she looks up waiting for me to elaborate.
"Yeah?" She asks.
"Did you ever? Think about… you know, girls or should I say women… before… you and I… set this thing up?" I blurt out, she catches my eye and I wait in silence as she seemingly begins to think it over.
"Did you?" She turns my question onto me.
"I asked you first!" I pout at her; she sighs and leans back against the wall.
"I asked you last!" Jade challenges and I sigh because I know I'm not about to get a straight answer from her.
"Kind of" I admit.
"What does 'Kind of' mean?" Jade asks, clearly confused by my answer. I shrug.
"I guess, the reason I chose you wasn't entirely because you owed money… and you were single, I could have chosen Beck or André" I admit.
"Why didn't you?" Jade asks.
"Andre is my best friend and I don't see him in that way to even pretend to date him… Beck too. I guess with them there was the risk of ruining our friendship… but with you, it didn't matter because we didn't exactly have a friendship" I admit.
"Okay, well… that still doesn't explain the whole thinking about females, does it Vega?" Jade says, raising her eyebrows.
"I guess, the idea of… being with a girl… feels romantic to me" I blush.
"I get it" Jade says. "You don't have real feelings for me though do you?" She suddenly asks. I laugh.
"Don't get me wrong Jade, You're nice and all but… no" I admit, although a feeling inside of me seems to disagree.
"I'm just, Nice?!" Jade asks offended. I shrug.
"It's your turn!" I tell her. She sighs at me and drinks some more of her coffee.
"I was curious once" She admits and even though I want to, I don't ask any further questions.
"You didn't answer my question" Jade reminds me, making me confused. What question?
"I asked what you had planned today" Jade explains.
"Oh… Going to work, I guess" I admit. "You?"
"I guess I'll just hang back here… and wait for you to come back" She shrugs, I roll my eyes and head for the bathroom to shower.
Jade's POV:
When Vega told me that she thought I was nice, just nice I got a little offended and decided to challenge myself. See if I could get her to find me sexy, it doesn't have to go any further than that because... well I'm not entirely evil. I wouldn't let someone fall in love with me without having the intention of falling in love with them back. I just want her to look at me in that kind of way.
"Jade!" She calls desperately from the bathroom.
"What?!" I yell at her.
"I forgot to bring a towel, can you get one for me?" She begs, normally I would ignore her and let her get it herself but I decide to do the complete opposite and do exactly what she says.
"Thanks" She says when I hand it to her thorough the gap.
"No problem" I mutter.
"Showers, all yours now" She tells me rushing passed me to the bedroom, I walk in after her and she frowns at me.
"What?" I shrug. "I'm just getting a towel" I tell her. She frowns at me but I completely ignore her.
The day goes by slowly without Vega to talk to. It sounds weird me saying that, usually a Vega free day it extremely welcomed but I literally have nobody around to talk to until Mrs Vega shows up that is.
"Oh, Hi Holly" I greet when I see who it is at the door.
"Hello, Jade. Didn't Tori tell you I was coming?" She asks, confused as I step aside for her to get in.
"No she didn't" I grit my teeth.
"Oh, well... I told her I'd come over to start planning the wedding but she said she'd be at work and that you'd be here... so... here I am!" Holly explains, I nod.
"Sit down" I gesture to the old couch.
"Do you want anything to drink?" I offer, Holly shakes her head and reaches into her purse getting out wedding magazines.
"Let's talk flowers!" Holly beams. I'm going to kill Vega, when she gets back!
"How about yellow daises" She suggests. I shake my head.
"I hate yellow!" I almost gag.
"Okay... Something a bit... darker?" Holly asks. I shrug, I wouldn't mind dark flowers. We sit and talk about those damn flowers for at least an hour until the subject is changed to seating arrangements and guests.
"It's best to know about who you are going to invite months in advance so you can give the venue a rough estimate of how many will show up. Everyone we know, and they will show up! Even if I have to make them!
"Are your parents going to come?" She asks, I shrug. I really don't have a clue about those people.
"My mom might" I admit.
"Might?" Mrs Vega asks with a raise of her eyebrow.
"We don't always get along" I explain.
"She's still your mother, Jade!" Mrs Vega, reminds me.
"I'll invite her" I sigh. Mrs Vega smiles at me.
"Good girl!" She says, a little patronizingly. We continue to talk about the wedding for another hour until Vega finally walks through the door. I run up to her a little too over dramatically.
"Your mothers here!" I whisper in her ear. She kisses my cheek then turns to face her mom.
"Hi, mom!" She smiles holding her arms out for a hug and leaving me to do whatever I want to I decide to go and sleep in Tori's room since I didn't get much sleep on the couch last night.
Tori's POV:
"Hi, Mom!" I beamed, I knew she was coming over but I kind of thought she'd have left by now. I looked in Jade's direction and noticed that she'd gone to my room.
"Hello, Tori... Jade and I were having fun picking out flowers" My mother tells me, I smile but knowing Jade she wasn't having as much fun as my mom claims she was.
"Oh, so... How are you mom?" I ask, sitting down on the couch.
"I'm okay, dear. I've set you and Jade up for an appointment with the Reverend for tomorrow morning. I trust you will both be there?" My mom informs me.
"Yeah, of course mom!" I smile, fluttering my eyelashes. She rolls her eyes at me.
"You know, just because your all grown up now doesn't mean I can't still tell you what to do!" My mother warns me. "I already told Trina off yesterday when she came over for dinner with Andre" She elaborates. My eyes widen.
"Andre came for dinner with Trina?" I ask, surprised.
"Yes, They are dating" She tells me.
"Oh, Andre didn't tell me!" I say, a little upset to be honest. "So what did you tell, Trina off for?" I ask.
"Singing off key" My mom explains, I furrow my eyebrows in confusion.
"You didn't care when she lived with us!" I point out.
"I did, I was just trying to be encouraging. I realize I was maybe a little too encouraging!" She explains. I shake my head.
"Okay, but that's not really something big enough to get told off for!" I point out.
"I know, but anyway... you are to be there at 7:30 tomorrow morning... Don't be late!" She warns before getting up and letting herself out. As soon as she was gone I headed to my bedroom to find a sleeping Jade under the covers, I couldn't bring myself to wake her and there was no way I was sleeping on the couch again so I settled on my side on top of the colors after setting my alarm to 6 am in the morning.
A/N: Not a lot happened in this chapter but I think Tori and Jade are on their way to improving. I hope you liked it. Review please :)
