A/N: So I know it's been a long time since I updated this story or any of my stories but I've been out of the writing game for a while and now I'm back. I'm hoping to complete all of my unfinished stories before the new year begins so hears to hoping I actually manage that. I'm so sorry for all of you that I've kept waiting but if you're still there then I hope you like this chapter.

Chapter Thirteen:
"So let me get this straight..." Andre started. He leaned back in his chair and looked at me quizzically. "you and Tori Vega... our Tori, came up with this plan to scam people into giving you wedding gifts... to pay off your debt... that you got yourself into... and Tori agreed to this?" Andre asked. He had disappointment in his eyes and I started to regret choosing to confide in him.
"Yes" I said. Leaving out the fact it was actually Tori's idea.
"I can't believe you Jade... well I mean I can, this is something you would do but how are you ever going to learn if you keep letting people fix your problems for you... I mean first Beck and now you've got Tori wrapped up in all of this!" Andre sighed. His words cut me like a shard of glass and I felt myself start to cry.
"you're right Andre. I'm a screw up and now I've screwed up so much that I don't even recognise myself anymore. I don't even know how it started. The gambling I mean. I know I was struggling with rent because none of my auditions were paying off and nobody had time to read my writing and I got carried away and I gave up on me and now my dads giving me the money to pay it back... but I don't even deserve that and there's no way Tori will want to be with me after I tell her about the money" I say, the tears spill out faster than the words and I'm not even sure if he understood most of what I said.
"Jade. I'm sorry. I was way out of line there" Andre said, placing a hand on my shoulder in an attempt to soothe me I guess. "and don't think for a second that you don't deserve help" he added.
"so I should take the money?" I ask, wiping my tears. Luckily I chose today to wear waterproof mascara.
"Of course you should!" Andre said. "look what I said before I didn't mean it, it was in the heat of the moment I was protecting my friend but I see she's not the only one that needs protection" Andre chuckled. I glared icy daggers at him and he raised his hands up in surrender.
"this never happened... I've got it" he said. I nodded at him appreciatively.
"what should I do about Tori?" I asked.
"Ah so you really do love Tori?" Andre asked. I nodded
"Just be honest... tell her how you feel you may be surprised. She may feel the same way... and if she doesn't you'll move on and find someone else... You'll be fine. You're Jade West you can handle anything" Andre said, reminding me of who I was.
"you're right! No one can hurt me!" I say confidently as I get out of my seat and run to my car. I have to find Tori... now!
"What was so urgent that you had to talk to me right away?" Tori asked when I met her outside her apartment. I smiled at her and looked into those gorgeous brown eyes.
"My dad has given me a cheque to pay off all my debt" I said, Tori stepped back a little. She seemed hurt? Surprised?
"That's great jade... really it is" Tori said but I could tell she didn't mean it.
"He also wants to come to our wedding" I added hoping she'd react to that better.
"Is this all you wanted to tell me?" She asked. I shook my head and for a second I saw hope in her eyes.
"This is hard for me to say... for me to even admit to myself but I know now that it's true. I'm in love with you. For real, not because we are pretending to be together because you make me want to be a better person because you believe in me and you are the most beautiful woman I've ever met, inside and out..." I said bit before I could sayou anymore I felt a pair of lips collide with mine and the butterflies in my stomach did summersaults.
"I love you too Jade" Tori admitted as if it wasn't already obvious she felt the second wayear from the way she had kissed me right now.
"Come on let's go upstairs and drink this bottle of presco I bought" Tori said, taking my hand and dragging me to her... or rather our apartment.
