Chapter Fifteen:

Tori's POV:

Tomorrow is the day, tomorrow is the day that Jade and I stand in front of our friends and family and promise to love each other forever. It's a wonderful yet scary thought. Tonight, we are spending our last night as single women apart. Jade is at our place with Cat whilst I'm at my mum's house with Trina. We decided not to have a hen party, but I think that was mainly because neither of us were really sure what the other one would get up to and we were both scared to find out so instead we arranged a small gathering with our mutual friends at Starbucks because Jade said she wanted to have coffee at her disposal.

We met everyone outside and proceeded to show them to our reserved table. The whole gang was here; Andre, Beck, Cat, Robbie, Trina and even Rex to Cat's displeasure. Cat was beginning to show now in her pregnancy, she was only 12 weeks along but because of how little Cat is you could already make out a small bump. It was exciting to think that tomorrow Jade would be my wife and in just a few short months Cat will be a mummy and even more surprising that she was the first out of our group.

I would have pegged Andre on being the first with the way he goes through his girlfriends, throughout our school years it seemed he had a new girlfriend every month. Of course, I know that's because he wears his heart on his sleeve, I don't think he's a womanizer in any way. I hope not considering he's dating my sister, but she wasn't exactly innocent throughout school either.

"Here's our latest scan pictures" Cat says, passing them round for us all to see.

"Is it a boy or a girl?" Trina asks her.

"We don't know yet, we won't find that out until around 20 weeks" Robbie explains.

"I think it's a boy" Jade says. I shake my head as I take a better look.

"No Jade, It's clearly a girl!" I say. The rest of our group starts staring at us in wonder and disbelief.

"What?" I ask, blushing a little. Andre chuckles to himself and gives me a warm smile accompanied with a hug.

"Nothing, we're just glad to see that things haven't changed too much" Andre explains. Jade rolled her eyes, then went off with Beck to get us all our drinks.

I sat down in the booth and sighed heavily to myself, after tomorrow everything was going to change, for the better mostly but that didn't make it any the less scary.

"What's up sis?" Trina asked me, it was very rare but sometimes Trina could see right through my happy act and occasionally she was sweet about it, or at least as sweet as Trina can possibly be.

"Nothing I'm just going to miss Jade" I explained.

"It's only for one night" Trina pointed out. I knew she was right, I knew that this was normal for every married couple to spend the night before their wedding apart.

"I know but I love her with every inch of my soul and I just… I guess I'm scared" I admitted. Trina gave me a small hug.

"It will be OK but what exactly are you scared about?" Trina asked.

"What if she changes her mind?" I asked. Trina shook her head.

"That won't happen. I can see that she loves you and I can see that you love her… I can't think of any reason why she'd let you go…" Trina assured me as best she could. I looked over to where Jade was stood at the counter talking to Beck. I had no idea what it was about, but she was smiling. She turned slightly and we managed to catch each other's attention at the same time. Jade smiled at me and I felt at ease a little, yet at the same time I was filled with nerves and I was getting goose bumps.

Beck and Jade returned with two trays full of coffees for the group and a hot chocolate for Cat. Jade sat beside me and put her arm around my shoulder.

"This time tomorrow you'll be my wife, Vega" Jade whispered in my ear.

"And you'll be mine" I said, no matter how nervous I was feeling I couldn't help but feel overly happy at the prospect of a life as Jade West's wife.

"I'd like to say a few words about our dear friends Jade and Tori" Andre announced to the group holding his cappuccino in the air. "I've known Tori since just before the big showcase and let's just say she's full of surprises. Like when she wowed us all with her performance that evening, when she told us she didn't know how to drive and when she told us she was going to marry none other than our very own Jade West! I'm sure everyone here will join me in wishing you both all the best in your future as a married couple" Andre said. His speech made me feel warm inside, it was nice just to know my friends supported me in this.

Jade's POV:

After the Starbucks gathering was over our friends went their separate ways, leaving Tori and I alone outside the coffee place. I pressed my forehead up against hers and sighed heavily.

"I don't know how I'll sleep without you now" Tori admitted, I held her close to me and kissed her on the forehead.

"I'm sure you'll be okay without me tossing and turning and bothering you" I laughed, Tori laughed with me.

"I don't really mind too much" She smiled. "It's just we haven't spent a night apart since you moved in" Tori sighed. I held her as tight as I could.

"I love you Vega and tomorrow I'll be meeting you at the aisle and we will walk down it together" I assured her.

"I love you too, Jade" Tori said. It was hard but eventually we broke apart and Tori went to her mum's leaving me to drive home alone.
