The next day, they all went to Clary's house to get the Mortal Cup. Alec and Isabelle went upstairs as Jace and Clary went to talk to the witch, Dorthea. As her brother was taking off his weapons, Nicole noticed her bracelet blinking red. As Clary and Jace started walking into the witch's apartment, Nicole slipped her red crystal dagger into the small hidden scabbard under the sleeve of her brother's jacket. Nicole used her magic to transform into her blue flames. She went up the stairs in a flash and appeared in the living room in front of Alec and Isabelle.
"How did you…" Isabelle said but was cut off by Nicole.
"Shh." Nicole said pointing to her bracelet.
She dropped to her knees and drew a circle on the ground with her finger. A clear view of the room below them appeared and she pointed to Madam Dorthea.
"Get downstairs quickly and quietly. I'll sneak inside thru here." Nicole said. "Wait for my signal before you crash thru the door." She said.
Meanwhile in Dorthea's apartment, Jace was playing the piano to expose the demon. He looked up when he felt a slight breeze and saw blue flames appear in a circle on the ceiling. Out of the flames, his sister crawled thru the circle. She looked at him and winked at him. Clary stuck her hand into the tarot card just as Nicole took out her gun. She pulled out the cup just before the witch growled at Jace.
"Now!" Nicole shouted.
The door was kicked in just as Nikki pounced on the witch knocking her to the ground. The demon's stinger came out of the witch's neck and she shout it with her gun. The witch got back up and grabbed Nicole by her neck before lifting her up off the ground.
"Nicky!" Alec shouted as he ran toward her.
He chopped off the demon's arm making her let go of Nicky.
"Jace! Now!" Nicole shouted
Jace took out Nicole's dagger from his sleeve and threw it at the witch as Nicole shot her.
