Chapter 1 - Bully and the beat
All the sisters live in their own homes with their families. Piper and Leo are married with three children, Wyatt who is eight, Chris who is six and Melinda is now five years old. A big party was about to take place in the manor it was Melinda's 5th birthday. Prue and family were the first ones to arrive at the Halliwell Manor. Prue and Andy are married and they have two children with a baby on the way. Their first child is Kalani and she is seven years old, and Chloe who is five years old. "Kalani cut it out we are here now", Andy ordered loudly, waking up Prue from her car ride nap. "Honey we are here", Andy was now talking softly, as Prue rubbed her 6 month old belly. "Finally", Prue mumbled. The family got out of the car together and made their to the manor.
"Hello family", Andy greeted, as the Trudeau's entered the manor. "AUNT PRUE UNCLE ANDY", Melinda screamed as she ran to give them all a big hug. "Happy birthday Melinda", Prue greeted, as she kissed her cheek. "Thank you", Melinda said, with a big smile. "How's the birthday girl", Andy asked. "Great... how's the baby aunt Prue", Melinda asked rubbing Prue's bump. "Very good Mel", Prue replied, she loved how caring Melinda was to her unborn baby. Melinda smiled in response she loved when a new baby joined the family. "Chloe Kalani we have a lot to do", Melinda said, as the trio made their way upstairs. "Hey sister and brother in law", Piper greeted. "How's pregnant life?". "It sucks my back hurts and I crave the strangest things and with two kids on top of that", Prue complained. Piper laughed out of all of Prue's pregnancies this one seemed to be the worst. "How's work Andy?", Piper asked. "Same old", Andy replied. Leo then came in followed by greetings. Leo was still their white lighter.
After a while the Mitchel's arrived. Paige and Henry were married with three kids. Twin girls Maddie and McKenzie who are four years old and a baby, Luke. They exchanged greetings and got comfortable before the Turners arrived. Cole and Phoebe were married with two children. Diamond who who is six years old and Willow who is four years old. Cole was now human but since Cole was a demon when Diamond their first son was conceived, Diamond got demonic and witch powers. The kids were just playing in the basement, which was now set for a play room, filled with toy, video games, colouring books, all that fun stuff. The adults who could were helping to set up for Melinda's party in the living room. "Let's cross our fingers that no demon comes in here", Piper stated. "Stop worrying Piper it will be alright", Phoebe assured. "Phoebe how has Diamond been coping with his powers?", Paige asked, rocking two month old baby Luke back and forth. "Well it's hard for him you know to be the only Halliwell to have demonic powers and also being and empath and all it has been hard for him", Phoebe shared. "Yeah he sometime feels like he doesn't belong here", Cole added. "We're all here for him", Prue said. "Thank you", Phoebe said with a smile. "Yes and the lesson he should learn is the powers is not what makes one evil it's what the person does with their power", Leo stated. Everyone nodded in agreement.
Soon Daryl and family joined the fun. Daryl is married to Sheila and they have two sons Daryl junior who is 10 years old and Mickey who is 8 years old. The boys joined the kids down stairs. "So how's everything been going", Sheila asked everyone. Everyone shared their 'greats' and 'good' responses. Soon Melinda's party started with games, lunch and opening presents. "Alright everyone it's time to sing happy birthday", Piper announced. Soon all the kids gathered around a small table that was set in the living room. "Here's the cake", Leo said, as he carried a big cake in and set it on the table where Melinda stood in front of. After the candles were lit, everyone sang the famous birthday song, as Melinda beamed with excitement. "Make a wish", Wyatt said, once the song ended. Melinda closed her eyes for a few seconds before blowing out her candles. Everyone clapped and cheered as she blew out the last candle. "What did you wish for?", Chloe asked. "I can't tell you or it won't come true", Melinda stated. "Happy birthday baby", Piper said, as she gave her a big hug and kiss on the cheek. "Happy birthday princess", Leo said, as he gave her a kiss on the cheek. "Thank you", Melinda said. Everyone joined and shared their happy birthdays, before Cole and Darryl shared the cake to everyone. As the party sustained, a scream suddenly broke. "Uh oh", Phoebe exclaimed, as she immediately recognized the screams. "Willow", Cole called. Suddenly Willow ran into her father's welcoming arms as she continued to cry softly. Maddie followed right after. "What's the matter baby?", Phoebe asked the blue eyed four year old. "Diamond and Wyatt won't let her play", Maddie filled the family in. "Wyatt Diamond come here", Piper called. The two cousins walked in from the sun room. "She won't leave us alone", Wyatt started to explain. "And then what happened?", Phoebe asked. "He pushed her", Maddie said. "No I did not Diamond did". Diamond's eyes were everywhere in the room but it refused to match someone's eyes. "Boy did you push your sister?", Cole asked. "I didn't even push her hard she is just a drama queen", Diamond stated. "Diamond it's not nice to hit your sister or others", Phoebe scolded. "Wyatt and Diamond apologize now", Piper sternly ordered. "Why do I have to I didn't push her", Wyatt whined. "Because you were also mean to her". "I'm sorry Willow", Diamond said, as he gave her a hug. "Me too". "Wyatt", Piper called sternly. "I'm sorry Willow", Wyatt said, before both boys then went back to their activities. "Come on Willow you can play with me and Kenzie", Maddie said suggested. "Thank you Maddie", Cole said. Willow then gave her mom and dad her hug, before running along with Maddie "Kids", Piper commented, as everyone smiled. The party then started to die down as everyone said their good byes and were on their way to their respective homes.
In the Trudeau's home it was bedtime. The Trudeau's live in a family house with a big garage at the front. "Alright my beauties.. ready for bed?", Andy asked. Kalani and Chloe nodded. Kalani was a mini Prue she had her mothers hair, smile, but her dad's eyes. Chloe on the other hand was like her daddy, but with Prue's eyes. Kalani and Chloe shared a room, and were pretty close. "Can you read us story please?", Chloe asked with a smile, her two front teeth missing making her cuter. "Yes baby which one". They both pointed at the Hansel and Gretel book. Prue then walked into the room, before sitting on Kalani's bed where Chloe and Kalani laid for their story. Before Andy could finish reading the girls were already falling asleep, Andy then carried Chloe to her bed. "Good night Kalani", Prue said, as she kissed her forehead. "Night", Kalani mumbled as she was falling asleep. "Night baby girl", Andy said, as he kissed Kalani's head. Chloe was already asleep, so Prue and Andy gave their kisses, before making their way back to their room. "I can't believe that I have a beautiful family...after I almost died fighting Shax", Prue recalled, as tears glazed her eyes. "Honey no need to worry about him...he's dead", Andy said, as he held her in his arms. "I love you", Prue said. "Love you too", Andy replied as he kissed her forehead. Prue was happy, for the first time in forever everything felt right.
In the Turner's home it was bedtime. The Turner's live in the penthouse, because Cole was still working for the firm, but Phoebe and Cole are thinking of moving out. Diamond and Willow shared a room. "Daddy mommy we are ready for our story", Diamond called. Diamond was a copy of his father, eyes and all, but with his mom's smile. Willow was mini Phoebe, with her father's blue eyes. "Alright story time", Phoebe said, as her and Cole entered the room. Willow curled up in her Phoebe's arms immediately her and Cole sat on the bed, Diamond went to his father's arms. "Why are you sad?", Phoebe asked, Phoebe didn't need to use her emphatic powers to see her children's feelings especially at this age. "She wants a baby sister", Diamond revealed. "Hey I was supposed to say it", Willow whined. "You were taking too long", Diamond said, with a smile. "Shut up". "Stop it", Cole ordered sternly. "Diamond Willow be nice", Phoebe said. "Sorry", Diamond said. "Alright which story do you want today?", Cole asked. "Little red", Willow said. "No ugly duckling", Diamond argued. "How about Jack and the Beanstalk", Phoebe asked. "Deal", The kids chorused, the beautiful sound of agreement. After the story was read it was time for bed. "Mommy daddy can I sleep in your room with you?", Willow asked. "We talked about this Willow..you have to stay in your bed", Cole said. "But I want to sleep in your room", Willow argued, as she got up from the bed. "Willow go to your bed right now", Phoebe ordered sternly. Being the stubborn child she was, she folded her arms and stood in the middle of the room. "Willow", Cole's scolding voice rose. "No". "would you shut up and get in your bed", Diamond screamed, as Willow now started to wail. "Diamond", Phoebe called. Cole then scooped Willow and put her on her bed, she continued to scream. "Ok Willow I'm sorry", Diamond surrendered. Willow's screaming came to an end, but she still wanted to go to her parents room. "Willow it's bed time.. you are not coming to our room.. stop it right now", Cole scolded, Willow then reluctantly obeyed, allowing Phoebe and Cole to go their room. "I don't know why you have to act like a baby all the time", Diamond stated. "Leave me alone". Diamond rolled his eyes in response.
It was also bedtime at the Mitchel's, and they live in a town house. "Maddie stay still", Paige said, she was giving the twins their baths while Henry tried to get Luke to sleep. "Time to get out". "I'm not ready to come out yet the water is so warm", Kenzie stated. "Kenzie it's time for bed so you have to come out now", Paige said sternly. "No", Kenzie whined. Paige then carried Maddie out with no issue, then next she carried McKenzie kicking and screaming out of the tub. Maddie just simply skipped as Paige carried McKenzie as she continued to scream. "Kenzie that's enough", Henry ordered sternly, forcing the screaming mess to come to an end slowly. "You are going to wake your brother". Paige rewarded Henry with a thank you smile. After the twins were dressed in their pyjamas, Henry and Paige read them a story and they slept off before the story could finish. "Thank God that they were tired", Paige said, as she and Henry arrived at their shared bedroom. "Yes and even Luke fell asleep quickly... I say we count our blessings and go to sleep", Henry said, as they changed to their pyjamas. "You've got that right", Paige stated, before the couple finished changing and went to bed and snuggled in each other's arms.
In the manor, Piper carried Melinda who was already asleep to her bedroom. "Today was a hectic and fun day at the same time", Leo said, as Piper walked into her and Leo's bedroom. He had just finished reading Wyatt and Chris a story, and they were fast asleep in their shared room. "Yeah there were so many kids and there was I think one meltdown... so I say it was a success", Piper stated, as the couple snuggled in each other's arms. Leo smiled in agreement. "Yeah I love how happy the kids are when they get to play with their cousins", Leo said. "Yeah and I rarely get to see my sisters with our busy schedules... it's amazing how we all have kids and loving husbands", Piper said, feeling grateful. "Yeah and one day grand kids", Leo said. "I wish they could stay little forever", Piper said, as Leo kissed her forehead. The couple continued with their small talk before finally falling asleep.
The Halliwell kids attended magic school, they take classes based on their age groups and they go after actual school. The ages groups are 2 to 5 years old, 6 to 9 years old, 10 to 12 years old, 13 to 15 years old, and 16 to 19 years old. They go once or twice a week. Only Diamond, Kalani, Wyatt and Chris attended magic school today the rest of the kids were at the manor. This was typical for the days the children had to go to magic school, the kids not attending classes that day will hang out at the manor. "Why are you here? you are evil", A boy told Diamond. The boy was about 8 years of age with tanned Caucasian skin. "I'm not evil.. I'm good my mom and aunts are the charmed ones", Diamond defended. "No you're evil...you have demonic powers you don't belong here", The boy harassed. "Leave my cousin alone", Wyatt suddenly said, get some of the children's attention. "And why should I listen to you I'm older than you", The boy challenged. "We are the same age dummy and leave him alone or else", Wyatt threatened. "Or what". "I'll bet you up", Wyatt threatened. The boy laughed in response. "Don't listen to him Diamond you're not evil", Wyatt comforted Diamond who was now crying. "I want to go home", Diamond stated, his blue eyes glazed with tears, some tears escaping. "Yeah leave nobody cares", The boy said, before he was suddenly thrown across the room through telekinesis. "What is going on here?", A teacher asked walking towards them. "Wyatt hurt me with his powers", The boy cried. ""Wyatt why did you do that?", The teacher asked. "He was picking on Diamond", Wyatt argued. "You know the rules go to the corner right now", The teacher ordered sternly. "Ugh you aren't listening". "Wyatt enough go to the corner we can discuss this later and Tyson you go to the other corner", The teacher commanded. "Why do I have to go.. he used his power on me", Tyson complained. "RIGHT NOW TYSON". Both Wyatt and Tyson went to their respective corners, while Diamond's problem was left unsolved.
After magic school classes were over, Prue and Paige came to take the kids home. "Hey Halliwells", Prue greeted, As the kids walked towards them. "How was class today?", Paige asked. "It wasn't good Wyatt got in trouble", Chris shared. "Yeah because he was standing up for Diamond", Kalani added. "Is that so... Wyatt Diamond?", Paige asked. Diamond just stood there motionless. "Tyson was saying awful things to Diamond saying he doesn't belong at magic school.. because he has demonic powers", Wyatt shared. "Aww baby do not listen to him", Prue comforted as Diamond started to cry. Paige then carried him and patted his back. "Let's go home we can talk to your parents", Prue said, as everyone nodded in agreement.
They arrived at the manor, as some of the family was hanging out in the manor, a rare moment as everyone is mostly busy. "What happened?", Phoebe asked, as she immediately felt her son's pain. "Mommy", Diamond called out as he ran into her arms, immediately Paige put him down. "It's alright you are safe now baby", Phoebe soothed, as she rubbed his back while he continued to cry. The kids were sent to play as the worried adults were watching the moment between Phoebe and Diamond. "What happened to my baby?", Phoebe asked, she was now crying. "Let me get Wyatt he was there", Paige said, as she briefly walked out and then came back to the living room with Wyatt. "Wyatt what happened to Diamond?", Piper asked. "Tyson a boy in our class was being mean to him and telling him that he doesn't belong in magic school because he is a demon", Wyatt explained. "What? I need to meet that kid's parents right away", Cole stated. "I think we should go tomorrow", Phoebe said, finally getting herself together even though she was still crying. "Wyatt why did you get in trouble?", Prue asked, remembering Chris mentioning earlier. "Because I threw him across the room with my powers but I didn't meant it.. I was just so angry then he flew across the room", Wyatt explained. "Well we will deal with that later right now we have to worry about Diamond... thank you Wyatt", Piper stated, before Wyatt left the living room. After a good five more minutes of crying in Phoebe's arms Diamond fell asleep. "Is he sleeping?", Cole asked. Phoebe nodded, as she kissed his forehead. "I'll take him to Wyatt and Chris' room", Cole said. "Thank you baby", Phoebe said, as Cole carefully took Diamond from her arms and made his way to Wyatt and Chris' room. "He was so sad it was overwhelming", Phoebe shared, she still had tears in her eyes. "Kids can be cruel... I set a meeting with the principal of magic school and Tyson's parents", Paige said. "That'll be great thanks Paige", Phoebe replied. After spending some time together, everyone decided to go home, leaving Piper with her kids.
"I assure you this won't happen again", The principal of magic school assured, the principal was elder Samson. "It better not", Cole stated. "We will make sure it won't happen.. and a meeting will be held with Tyson and his parents today", Elder Samson informed. "Alright thank you... Diamond do you want to go to class?", Phoebe asked her son, she could feel his discomfort. Diamond shook his head no, as he beckoned for Phoebe to hold him. "That's alright Diamond... I will make sure Tyson is understands that his behaviour is unacceptable", Elder Samson assured, patting the little boy on his back. "We will be on our way then... thank you for your time", Cole concluded. "My pleasure and nice speaking to you have an awesome day", Elder Samson said, shaking both Phoebe and Cole's hands, before the trio left the office.
Prue was now 7 months pregnant, and as demanded by her sisters wasn't allowed to be alone, because of some complications she had during the pregnancy. "Prue this is for your own good", Paige stated. Paige and Prue were at Paige's home. "I know but I am the oldest sister I can take care of myself... and plus I am doing fine", Prue declared. "I know but this pregnancy hasn't been easy and we just want to make sure you are ok", Paige said. Prue rolled her eyes she didn't understand why all the protection she was fine she thought. "I am fine and I know there was a little complications... but I feel strong and plus have powers I can defend my self if a demon attacks", Prue reminded. "I know you do but it's not like the baby has a shield like Wyatt did..so therefore you could still get hurt", Paige ranted. "Paige you're ranting", Prue said. Paige rolled her eyes in disagreement. The two sisters continued continued enjoying each other's company, Chloe suddenly appeared via astral projection. "Mommy", The little girl screamed running into her mom's arms. "Chloe aren't supposed to be in class", Prue reminded, she couldn't help feel a little proud at the fact that her daughter was using her powers. "Hey aunt Paige", Chloe greeted trying to avoid her mom's comment. "Hey sweet heart". "Chloe", Prue called. "Chloe what happened?", Paige asked. "Nothing I just want to be with mommy", The little girl stated sitting on her mom's lap and wrapped her arms around her neck. "You know when you are done with school you can come and see mommy", Paige said. "Yes and stay in my arms as long as you want", Prue added. "I know but I wanted to see mommy now", the little girl whined. "Chloe you know what we talked about you could expose magic", Prue reminded. "It's nap time anyway and they think I am sleeping", Chloe revealed. "It still doesn't make it right...now go back to school", Prue ordered, kissing her daughter's cheek. "Ok I love you mommy", Chloe said, kissing her mom back. "I love you too", Prue stated, before Chloe disappeared. "Scary isn't it", Paige commented mirroring Prue's thoughts. "How they are coming into their powers very quickly". Prue nodded in approval, as the sisters continued to spend their time together.
