Ch.31 Final Battle
(Where we left off)
Akio would put his phone away and look at Lodhi
"You got exactly 2 minutes before he gets here…destroy Vanellope's remote so she can't destroy his world…"
Lodhi would nod and quickly run around the corner and jump into the ventilation system
He'd quickly crawl through the vents until he'd be right above Vanellope's throne room
He'd take a deep breath. "Now to vait till she pulls it out…"
(Back with the others)
Minty would look at Akio
"What do we do?"
Akio would point at Torvald. "Ensure she gets the bomb to them…"
(In the castle)
Vanellope would see al the racers gathered at the gate on a monitor
Her eyes would narrow and she'd look at her minions
"They're attempting something…get out there and stop them…"
Rancis, Swizzle, Snowanna, Nougetsia, Jubileena and Adorabeezle would bow and rush out with most of the Oreo guards as Citrusella would watch them leave from her wheel chair
Copy Vanellope would look at Vanellope. "Master…why not send me instead?"
"2 reasons…they have no idea you exist…and you're the last line of defense for the code…since…I'm in no shape to fight at the moment…"
(Back with the others)
Oreo Guards would rush out of the castle doors as Rancis, Swizzle, Jubileena, Adorabeezle and Snowanna would walk behind them
The group would appear at the gate
Phipps would hold his Nunchucks tight
Akio would grip his Staff tight
Marcy would twirl her Sai
Annie would crack her knuckles
Gloyd and Gloyd would each hold a Cherry Bomb in their hands
Taffyta, Minty, Crumbelina, Candlehead and Sticky would stand behind them
They'd all suddenly hear a loud yell from Rainbow Bridge
Everyone would look to see Ralph running down the bridge
"ARGH!" He'd jump over Torvald's group and onto a few Oreo Guards quickly destroying a few others
"Let's do this!" Gloyd would shout as he'd throw his Cherry Bomb
(Back in the throne room)
Vanellope would watch the battle from the monitor
"That idiot never learns…now his world will pay…" She'd take out her remote
Lodhi would jump down and would throw one of his swords
The sword would go right through the remote and into the wall behind Vanellope's throne
"Lodhi…" Vanellope would say threateningly
"I'm sorry Princess…but your reign of terror ends here…"
"That's what you think…"
Copy Vanellope would retrieve the sword Lodhi threw and would approach him
"Teach him…a lesson Copy…"
"Yes Master…" She'd charge at Lodhi
(Back outside)
Phipps would fight an angered Snowanna
She'd swinging her knife at him
"DIE!" She'd scream
"Hopefully that's the virus talking…" He'd tell himself
Marcy would clash with Nougetsia
"I trusted you!" Nougetsia would state
"I'm sorry…but it has to be this way…" Marcy would respond
Akio would keep both Rancis and Swizzle at bay
Knowing full well Swizzle is holding back
Annie would hold Adorabeezle in a choke hold
"They put us both in comas…yet you side with them?!" Adorabeezle would yell
"Yet their entire team was killed for it…that's not what I wanted…"
Torvald would look at the bomb then at Herschel
"Use your Cherry Bomb! Blast the castle doors open!"
Herschel would throw his Cherry Bombs and would destroy the doors
"Follow me!" Torvald would shout as she'd run in
Herschel, Sticky, Minty, Crumbelina, Candlehead, Phipps, Marcy, Annie, Akio and Ralph would follow them in
Vanellope's minions would follow close behind with the few surviving Oreo Guards
They'd enter the throne room to see Copy Vanellope dueling with Lodhi
With Lodhi just barely hanging on
Akio would turn around and see her minions rushing towards them
"Watch out!"
While they fight again Torvald would walk into the throne room and stand infront of Vanellope's throne
"Call them off Vanellope…it doesn't have to end like this…"
"You really think so?"
"I know we can work this out…"
Vanellope would reach into her sweater pocket
"That's where your wrong…" She'd throw a knife that would hit Torvald in the chest
Torvald would gasp and fall to the floor as the bomb would fall out of her sweater
Vanellope would get off her throne and pick it up
"Wanted to end things peacefully…yet you were armed with a bomb…hypocritical if you ask me…"
Vanellope's minions would force Ralph, Akio, Phipps, Marcy, Taffyta, Minty, Sticky, Herschel, Crumbelina, Candlehead and Gloyd into the throne room where'd they'd see Torvald laying a pool of blood slowly forming around her and Vanellope holding the bomb
They'd all look shocked
Lodhi would grab Copy Vanellope by the throat
"Your Sword can't pierce my armour…"
"Zen I'll do zis ze old fashion vay…" He'd suddenly start pulling her neck upwards
"What are you doing?!"
Lodhi would use all his strength and would rip her robotic head off
Her body would collapse to the ground and Lodhi would throw her severed head away
He'd quickly retrieve alittle bomb out of his jacket and toss it on Torvald
Her wound would quickly heal
Everyone would look at him
"Vot? Don't tell me a healing bomb surprised you all…I made a Bacta Tank and Bacta Patches for mod's sake…"
"No matter…" Vanellope would state as she'd point her knife towards Torvald while holding the bomb in her right hand. "Put your sword down…and I'll let her live…"
She'd stare him down
Lodhi's hands would shake alittle
Vanellope would grin. "Come now…you don't want her to die do you?"
Swizzle would clear his throat
"Princess may I say something?"
"Sure Swizzle what is it?" Vanellope would ask
Swizzle would pull out his revolver
"2 words…fuck you…" He'd fire 2 shots, the first one knocking the knife out of Vanellope's hand and the second hitting her other hand causing her to drop the bomb
"Lodhi now!" He'd shout
Lodhi would throw his sword towards the falling bomb
"NO!" Vanellope, Adorabeezle, Jubileena, Nougetsia, Citrusella, Rancis and Snowanna would scream in unison
The sword would pierce the bomb
The throne room would suddenly glow blue
The eyes of Vanellope, Rancis, Adorabeezle, Jubileena, Nougetsia, Citrusella, Snowanna, Akio, Lodhi, Phipps, Marcy and Annie would suddenly glow bright yellow as they'd hold their heads tight screaming in pain as they'd fall to their knees
Ralph would watch on nervously. "What's happening to them?"
Torvald would watch alittle nervous aswell. "From Phipps notes it's killing the virus inside them…"
"But why is it hitting the newbies?" Taffyta would ask
"I saw the code…their code boxes were semi-infected by it…" Torvald would respond
The room would suddenly flash yellow before returning to normal
Vanellope, Rancis, Adorabeezle, Jubileena, Nougetsia, Citrusella, Snowanna, Akio, Lodhi, Phipps, Marcy and Annie would collapse to the ground
Marcy, Phipps and Akio would quickly sit up rubbing their heads.
"That hurt…" They'd state in unison
Candlehead would kneel beside Annie who'd open her eyes slowly
"Hey Annie…how are you feeling?"
"Like I was by a train…"
Candlehead would help her up.
Herschel would kneel beside Lodhi who'd sit up
"Lodhi…who am I modelled after?" Herschel would ask
"Dale Earnhardt…Richard Petty…and Jeff Gordon…now who am I modelled after?"
"Sebastian Vettel and Michael Schumacher…"
"Good you remembered…"
Herschel would help him up
"Think it worked?" Sticky would ask
"Vell…ve are about to find out…" Lodhi would kick all the weapons away
Adorabeezle would weakly open her eyes
"W-wh…w-what happened?"
Torvald would help to her up
"Do you not remember anything?"
"I remember not being in control…then being forced to fight you guys…then a blinding light…"
"Bullshit…" Gloyd would state
Akio would silence him
"She's not lying…"
"So it worked?" Gloyd would cross his arms
"It appears so…"
Jubileena, Snowanna, Nougetsia, Citrusella and Rancis would all wake rubbing their heads
Everyone's attention would turn to Vanellope who'd slowly open her eyes
She'd look around and glitch around terrified
Lodhi would quickly stop her
"Calm down…no one's going to hurt you…"
"Y-y-y-yes they are! They b-b-beat me everyday!"
Torvald would look at her concerned as she'd slowly approach her
"Do you not remember the last 3 months?"
"N-n-no…the last thing I remember is jumping off Rainbow Bridge…"
"Anything after that?"
Vanellope would continue to tremble
"I saw a being….t-t-th-th-that looked like me…but was pixelating like crazy flashing the error sign several times…"
Torvald would look at Lodhi than back at Vanellope
"You don't remember the last 10 years?"
Vanellope would tremble. "S-s-s-s-stop messing with me! Just let me go! I won't come back here I promise!"
Everyone would look at Akio
"She's not lying…she doesn't remember a thing…"
Torvald would take Vanellope's hand and sit them both down
"You've missed quite a bit…"
Over the course of the next hour Torvald would tell Vanellope everything
From the night everything started 3 months prior to her defeat
Vanellope would tremble as everyone would sit around her
"I-I don't like this little joke guys…" Vanellope would state
Akio would slowly put his hand on hers
"I swear on my code and honor…this is all real…"
"S-S-So I-I-I killed everyone…became a psychopath…and now I'm pregnant because of Rancis?"
Everyone would nod
She'd slowly calm down
"S-s-so what happens now?"
"You can keep being a Princess…and we can try to get life normal again…"
"Th-that sounds like a plan…" Vanellope would state
"Well this calls for a celebration!" Gloyd would shout
A few hours later everyone would party at Gloyd's house
Snowanna would take Phipps to the side. "Sorry…sorry for whatever I did to you…"
"It's alright Snowanna…you weren't in control…"
Torvald would hug Lodhi tight a few tears falling down her face
"Vot's vrong my darling?"
"These aren't sad tears…these are tears of joy Lodhi…finally…after 3 months of hell…we can finally return to a peaceful normal life…"
Lodhi would kiss her forehead. "Don't vorry…ze vill stay zat vay…"
(Later that night)
Rancis, Adorabeezle, Jubileena, Nougetsia, Citrusella and Snowanna would join Vanellope in her throne room
"Princess…whatever you did in the code last week…it worked…but I have one question…how in the hell did Akio and Lodhi not realize we were lying to their faces?"
Vanellope would grin. "I altered their abilities…sorry for the bomb inflicting the pain it caused…but it was either that…or everything we've worked towards would've been all for not…"
"What do we do now?" Jubileena would ask
"For now we wait…I need to formulate a new plan…and I already have a few ideas…for now…we should focus on rebuilding Copy Vanellope…and thank those dirty traitors for "saving" us…"
"Princess…we no longer have the number advantage…in fact they have one person more than us…" Nougetsia would state
"Not exactly…" Vanellope would state as Candlehead would walk in
Her minions would look at her confused
"Swizzle outlived his usefulness…however…Candlehead has everyones trust…so I altered her code…so now…she's our servant…"
"So what are your orders Princess?"
"Simple…do nothing…act normal as if we were "saved" from a virus…-she'd chuckle-…can't believe that worked…I will tell you when I have a plan in place…for now…let them enjoy their little victory…because the war…has just begun…"
