Here is the newest chapter for this story and I believe that I have overworked and exceeded myself with this chapter but since this is awesome but you have to tell me that this is badass awesome!
Narrator's POV:
Haruhi walked around the mansion's grounds for the 10th time already. She was worried as hell for her older brother and of all the things that they would do to him just so he could talk and tell them their strategies, where their bases where, what was their weakness. There were a million ways to force the answers out of him and she really didn't want to see her older brother dead on the side of the road or to see him so emotionally traumatized, or even that they would turn him into a vampire so they could learn their lesson and never try to do that again, to try and defeat the vampires.
Haruhi was wearing a lilac purple blouse with a pair of black jeans and black boots while her hair was let down. She was biting her nails since she was nervous and the only time when she bites her nails is when she's either scared or nervous and in this case; she was both.
"How are you doing?" A soft male voice asked from behind her and she turned to see Jake whom looked certainly worried about her. He was wearing a red buttoned long sleeved shirt with jeans and his brown sneakers.
"Hey. Well, I think that I'm coping better with it than my grandparents and your sister." Haruhi said.
"My sister doesn't want to go out of her room. She hasn't eaten and she hasn't taken a bath either." Jake said.
"I see." Haruhi said while rubbing her left hand on top of her right arm.
"Want to talk about it?" Jake asked.
"Sure. Come with me, I don't want to talk here." Haruhi said as she grabbed his hand and pulled him towards her and they started walking and Haruhi had lead Jake to a lake.
"Okay. Now let's talk." Jake said as he plopped down on the floor.
"Well, I feel that it's sort of my fault that this happened to him." Haruhi said.
"Why do you feel so?" Jake asked.
"I don't know. Maybe it's because I'm his sister and I think that I did the bad decision." Haruhi said.
"You didn't do anything. It was those stupid vampires. I promise you that I am going to help you get your brother back here safe and sound." Jake said as he grabbed Haruhi's hands and clasped them with his.
"Thank you." Haruhi said while kissing him on the cheek which from when she retreated, they were both as red as ripe tomatoes and they both looked away from each other concentrating on the first thing that was on their line of vision. Jake was looking at a rock that was shaped like a foot for a strange reason and Haruhi's attention was on a tree that had various markings on it like if someone has used it to train with. Mostly probably her father since the indents were deep and they seemed to be there from a long time ago.
"Hey Haruhi." Jake said as he turned to face her while moving closer as well and moving his left hand to her shoulder. The blush on his face had just suddenly vanished and bravery was on his face.
"Yes?" Haruhi said as she turned to face him once again. The blush on her face was not so evident as it was a few seconds ago.
Then Jake had just suddenly kiss Haruhi on the lips, his lips fit perfectly on her lips, they seemed to be a perfect match. Their lips moved in perfect synchronization, Haruhi's hands went to the back of Jake's head and pulled him closer to her while his hands went to her waist which as well pulled her even closer. Their kiss was so very tender and innocent that not even the most dark people could bring themselves to rip them apart but then they both separated each other because of the lack of oxygen that they needed since they were both living creatures.
"Hey, come and lay down with me, will you?" Jake said as he laid down on the grass like he did before when he catched his breath.
"Sure." Haruhi breathed out softly as she laid down next to him and Jake moved their positions so her head could be on top of his chest able to hear his steady heartbeat.
The way that they were positioned made it look like they were a couple that looked rather adorable together.
"I liked the kiss." Haruhi said softly.
"Me too. Can I just say that you are a good kisser?" Jake asked.
"Sure." Haruhi said as she looked up to the starry night sky. "The stars are rather beautiful tonight."
"Yes. Maybe they knew that we were going to be here and they decided to shine brighter." Jake guessed.
"That's guessing." Haruhi answered as she looked up at Jake. His blue eyes shined even more brighter with the stars illuminating them, his brown hair looked even more darker and his skin looked even lighter. To be even more specific, he looked more beautiful.
"What?" Jake asked as he noticed that his childhood friend was staring at him.
"Nothing." Haruhi said embarrassed as she looked away from her dear friend.
"You used to stare at me like that when we were kids as well. I thought that you always stared at me because I was so adorable and easy to hug." Jake stated as he laughed at Haruhi.
"Well, I remember that every time when I went to your house or you came to my house, you would always ask me if I wanted to marry you." Haruhi retorted.
"And you would always say yes. And if I badly to not remember, you always said a bunch of words in french that I never understood but they sounded very romantic." Jake pondered and Haruhi stared at him like if he had just grown a second head.
"What?" Jake questioned as he noticed Haruhi's staring at him.
"What did I say?" Haruhi asked.
"Well, I only remember the French words because I never knew what they meant in a language that I understood." Jake piped out.
"Yeah, because you're too lazy to learn another language." Haruhi mumbled.
"And you're too studious to want to learn another one." Jake stated to his younger friend.
"Yeah. What did I say?" Haruhi asked once more.
"Okay, I'll tell you. You always said; 'Oui! Je vais vous marier. Et je souhaite que nous puissions être ensemble pour l'éternité parce que je n'ai pas vraiment t'aime Alexandre!' That's what you said and you always seemed happy after you said it." Jake said and Haruhi blushed as she realized what she said when she was a child.
"Hey! you're blushing!" Jake pointed out at Haruhi's red face.
"No, I'm not!" Haruhi retorted.
"Come on! What did you say?" Jake questioned.
Haruhi sighed out as she resigned herself from trying to hide it since she couldn't hide it forever since Jake was a very persistent person.
"I said; 'Yes! I will marry you. And I'll hope that we can be together for all eternity because I really do love you Alexander!'." Haruhi said while her face got red.
"Really? Well, that's great taking to the fact that I love you too." Jake said as he got up.
"Where are you going? I thought you were going to stay with me." Haruhi teased.
"I have to go back. I'm going to go help with the search for Luke and I'm pretty sure that Your Highness needs her rest without her guard dog." Jake mocked at Haruhi whom threw him a rock but he caught it and kissed her on the forehead.
"I promise that I'll come back safe and sound. And if I don't then at least you know my feelings for you." Jake said while skipping the rock on the lake.
"You'd better come back!" Haruhi retorted whihc caused Jake to laugh and walk away.
"Of course, I'm going to come back. If my lonely awesomeness is enough to help me live." Jake presumed while smiling at his own words.
"You always were a lone wolf." Haruhi noted as he walked into the forest surrounding the Blanchard family grounds.
"It's because everyone else envies my alpha maleness. And it's because I'm too bossy. That's why no one travels with me." Jake said as he looked back towards her.
"Just leave. And it's true, you are bossy." Haruhi said while giggling.
"As you wish, princess." Jake said and he turned into a wolf and started running as fast as he could towards his family's territory to help start the search for Luke when he suddenly stopped in the middle of the forest. He had stopped because he had smelled two vampires and a human but of course, the human's heartbeat was so faint that he almost couldn't hear it so he ran in the direction of the scent and he saw a human girl, laying on the ground with two bite marks on both sides of her neck. Her heartbeat had been long gone and he felt responsible of that because he hadn't run faster.
"Look brother. A stupid dog came here." A male voice said and Jake turned to see Hikaru and Kaoru whom were both smirking at him like if he had just fallen into a trap. Jake growled at him but they didn't seemed frightened by it.
"I see that, little bro. But this dog smells like Haruhi, don't you think?" Hikaru said while smiling a sadistic smile for which Jake started retreating his paws backwards and he ran as fast as he could from the twins.
"Oh no. He's running away!" Kaoru said with a fake tone of voice.
As he knew that even if Jacob tried to run from them, they would still catch him because they had just fed and that obviously increases all of their vampire abilities to a higher level.
"Remember bro. We like to hunt down our prey." Hikaru reminded his younger brother as he ran towards Jacob and tackled him to the ground and threw him to a tree with such strength that caused Jacob to turn back into his human form as he started to crawl up to a begging position so he could try to get up.
He had fractured a few ribs from his ribcage, his left wrist, his right arm had popped out of it's socket, his ankle had been twisted and the part of his brain that made his body turn into a wolf had been bruised so not even if he tried, he could get out of there.
"Shit!" Jacob whispered out as he tried to stand up.
"I thought that it was bad to swear." Kaoru asked Hikaru as Kaoru approached Jacob.
"Yeah. But since this is a dog, a disobedient one. He doesn't pay attention to what they tell him." Hikaru said as he also walked towards him.
"You two bastards, I'll kill you." Jacob said as he leaned into the tree for support when he finally managed to stand up.
"In your condition, I doubt that." The twins said in perfect unison as they both standed in front of Jacob and Hikaru took a few steps towards the young wolf prince.
"But now, why do you have Haruhi's scent on you?" Hikaru said as he grabbed Jacob's throat and started to place pressure on it.
"N-no w-w-way, I-I'm telling you." Jacob stuttered out from the lack of air with venom in his voice.
"Apparently we'll have to do this the hard way." Hikaru sighed as he tightened his grip on Jacob's throat.
"Let's not do this here, Hikaru. There could be other wolves out here and I'm pretty sure that they'll try to rip our heads off when they see this." Kaoru said.
"Sure." Hikaru said as he knocked Jacob out and placed him on his shoulders.
"He reeks of dog and Haruhi." Hikaru said with a lot of venom dripping from his voice.
"Maybe we should make him pay for touching Haruhi." Kaoru said cheerfully.
"Like a lesson." Hikaru said and they both ran towards their secret hiding place.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ To the secret room where Shizuka is hiding Luke from the rest of the world~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Luke, I'm back! Did you miss me?" Shizuka asked as she waltzed towards Luke's chained form. She had decided that keeping him on a chair for a long time was going to ruin his perfect posture so she chained him to the wall.
"No." Luke croaked out. His voice was hoarse and rough. His clothes were tattered and had his own dried blood on top of himself.
"In the bottom of your heart, you did. Because secretly you really do desire me more than anything." Shizuka whispered seductively in Luke's ear which caused him to tense up.
"N-no, I don't." Luke reaffirmed himself while sitting up to make his posture better.
"I'm hungry. Luke, let me have a little bit of you." Shizuka said as she sat on top of Luke's lap.
She kissed Luke suddenly and they -mostly her- were having an all-out making out session, she had even pulled his head closer to her so she could kiss him more and Luke couldn't stop her for more that he wanted. Shizuka noted that Luke had stopped kissing her back which annoyed her greatly so she bit his lower lip which finally caused him to react a little bit.
Due to the fact that Shizuka can make that once his lips were positioned on hers, he would never want to stop kissing her even if his mind wanted to, his body wanted to keep kissing her. So basically her lips were like a totally dangerous drug to any man that she met.
"Though I love your lips so much, you should know better than to leave a girl kissing all by herself, Luke." Shizuka said as she stared at Luke.
"Well, maybe I should get eating since I have to go back. But Luke, let me ask you something." Shizuka said to Luke whom looked at her like if she grew another head.
"What?" Luke asked rudely forgetting his manners for once.
"That hurt but I like that about you. Do you know where is another hunter base? Because we just found that one by coincidence and we need to find another one." Shizuka questioned him.
"I don't know anything." Luke lied but Shizuka noticed that he was lying to her.
"You know that I hate liars, Luke. Well, I guess that I'm going to have to force it out of you." Shizuka said as she moved her face towards his neck, she put her hand on top of his hair and pulled it backwards roughly so that way she had a perfect and comfortable place to drink blood and then she suddenly bit his jugular vein with force which caused Luke to scream out in pain as she drank it even more forcefully. She left that bite mark alone and then gazed at him.
"That bite was a real vampire bite. And I know that you won't just tell me so here's something. We have different kinds of bites; bites that give pleasure, bites that kill, bite to drink blood and of course, bites that turn vampires." Shizuka said while moving her head to the side of Luke's neck that still wasn't bitten.
"I could just bite you right here and I'd be turning you into a vampire. So are you going to tell me or not?" Shizuka asked Luke once again while pulling his hair back even more rougher than the last time that made him hiss out in pain.
For once in his entire life, Luke feared the fact that Shizuka might turn him into a vampire unwillingly, he knew that if he didn't tell her, she was going to turn him into her vampire slave and honestly Luke didn't want that so he had to even if he hated himself, he didn't want to turn into a vampire.
"There's one in the middle of the southern forest, like just reaching a river. All of our weapons are there so if you get rid of the weapons, some hunters will be low on ammunitions and other things. So according to you guys, the kill will be easier." Luke said while looking at her in the eye.
"Good boy. I'll be right back." Shizuka said as she kissed Luke on the cheek and she got up and walked outside the room.
"What have I done?" Luke sighed out as he picked up his legs and buried his face in them.
