Why are my chapters ending up so small!? I hate it, I try to write more but I then end up realizing that the chapter is going to carry more information than the necessary that's actually needed! Well, I hope that you enjoy!
Haruhi's POV:
I couldn't move, my muscles were tense the entire time I stared at my elder undead brother. All this time that I was here in France, I thought that he was an evil vampire but here he is smiling like the same idiot he was before he disappeared.
"Please don't yell. I'm begging you." Luke covered my mouth while I gave him a stern look. "If I stop covering your mouth, you're not going to scream, right?" I slowly nodded, trying not to startle him so he stopped covering my mouth and I started breathing once more.
"How did you get here? I thought that newborns can't leave their creators and how did you get this far without getting killed?" He gave me a soft smile and sat me down.
"Are you alright? I know that they must be pressuring you." Luke replied but not to the questions that I asked him.
"Answer my questions first, then I can answer your questions." I lifted my hand to quiet him down.
"Fine. Well, to answer your questions, I don't know how I managed to get here without Shizuka always standing with me. After the first time that I drank her blood I felt like I didn't need it." Luke answered while looking out the window.
"It might be because you're a royal vampire hunter and you might already have a bit of controllable vampire blood." I reasoned.
"Yeah. I managed to get here due to the fact that I was thinking about France, the country where I was raised and this would be the most possible place where the family would be." Luke looked at me with sad eyes. "But its enough about my problems, you have to tell me your problems because I'm pretty sure that Grandfather and Grandmother wouldn't let our people without a future heir to the throne."
"Yeah. They've been teaching me the ropes on how everything should be, how I should rule, and they've been showing me potential fiancés." I responded and Luke looked shocked.
"How can they be doing this to you? You're not supposed to be the one looking for a fiance, its supposed to be me." Luke growled as he grabbed my hands tightly.
"It's alright. It's not enjoyable but I want to do something for my kingdom. Did I tell you that Grandfather and Grandmother hired a bodyguard for me?" Luke shook his head 'no'. "Her name is Eclair Tonerre, she's a hunter just like us but a spy too." Luke was shocked with the information and he grabbed my shoulder with swift speed that not even I could see what was coming.
"Do not trust that woman... She's a half vampire, she's known around due to her swift ability to kill when an enemy is around. She used to work as a freelancer until the... Ootori family hired her." I felt as how my heart stopped beating once he told me all that.
"How do you know about her?" I asked as I leaned forward. We were in the farthest corner of the cafe that had a view of the city.
"Shizuka told me about her. That a newborn should never encounter her if they don't want to die once more in their new life." Luke answered while I stared at him with serious eyes.
"So that woman is capable of killing me if I'm not on my best?" Luke nodded. "I'll have to try to not die by her hands."
"Don't worry. I thought that you had to hide yourself from the vampire society so why is your hair the same color as it was before I disappeared?" I touched my hair with my left hand.
"Because I wanted to look like mom once more and I couldn't if my hair was blonde and besides, I'm travelling to Russia this Friday. It's the last day I'll be in France, I'm going to Russia to direct a hunter meeting and also so I can meet all my potential fiancés."
"I have to go. You can't be smelling of me if not, your totally dangerous bodyguard will hunt me down and try to kill me and I'm not ready to die." Luke rose up from the table and I hugged him before he left.
"I'll miss you. But you never told me how you ended like this."
"Ask Alexandria. She knows how I ended like this. I don't want to tell you. Please be safe and don't try to end up like I did."
"I will. Get back to Japan safely, I don't want to hear that you died when I just saw you once more." Luke smiled at me before embracing me in a hug which I corresponded. Our hug was our silent way of saying goodbye.
Luke and I left the building but only when I was going to look at him once more, he wasn't there so that means that he's good at developing his speed.
"I'm so going to miss him."
Narrator's POV:
Meanwhile Tamaki and the others were being faced down by someone they never expected to see.
"Eclair, what a pleasure to see you." Kyouya sneered at the brunette woman whom was leaning against the rail at the underground subway station of France.
"Its always a pleasure to see you, Kyouya. I believe that you're more like a robot now than the passionate man that you were once before or are you like this over the death of Angelique?" Kyouya tensed before Mori had to grab his shoulder so he wouldn't hurt Eclair.
"She's not worth it." Mori swiftly replied before Kyouya brushed him off.
"What do you want?" Tamaki asked.
"Is that any way to talk to your ex-lover? I tried so much to make you forget that other girl like your dear and sweet grandmother asked me to but apparently you're just too broken to be repaired." Eclair answered with a cynical smile plastered on her face.
"Shut up. You weren't even that good in bed." Tamaki answered back.
"Oooooo." The twins said as if they really wanted to see a fight.
"Doesn't matter. All you did was lie down and you didn't do anything. I'm just wondering about whose your new obsession. It's not a certain brunette hunter princess, am I right?" Eclair bluffed and in the lapse of 2 seconds, she was already pushed against the wall by Tamaki while her throat was restrained by Tamaki's iron grip.
"I will snap your throat before you can even ask why." Tamaki threatened the brunette woman whom looked unfazed.
"Well, too bad that they're looking for a fiance for her. And I have to admit that many of them have all of the requirements that she asked for specifically." Eclair raised a hand to make her point and raised her pointer finger. "One: They have to be from a good family. Most of the boys are dukes and earls. Two: They have to be in her age group. Three: Smart people with who she can converse with. She's going to go make her public choice this Friday, so I feel bad for you that your love will never be corresponded. It fills me up with so much joy that you get to suffer, Suoh."
"Bitch. Say your prayers before you die by my hands right now." Tamaki started gripping on her throat tightly.
"Boss, stop." Kaoru grabbed Tamaki's shoulder.
"Why?" Tamaki asked not letting go of his grip. "Why should I refrain myself from doing something I should've done 300 years ago?"
"Aren't you wondering how is it that she knows all that stuff about Haruhi?" Hikaru continued from where his twin left behind, Tamaki froze and his grip slipped causing Eclair to fall on the floor while trying to get some air.
"*Cough* Weak *Cough*" Eclair murmured as she gripped her throat, she was then grabbed by her hair by Kaoru.
"Well? How do you know all this stuff about Haruhi? Don't you dare to lie to me or you will suffer." Kaoru threatened.
"I'm just carrying out what his father ordered me to do." Eclair pointed at Kyouya whom strided towards her before brushing Kaoru off and grabbing Eclair's hair.
"What did my father order you to do exactly?" Kyouya's cold tone of voice scared all of the guys present.
"None of your business." And with those words, Eclair disappeared but the threat in her voice still remained.
PLEASE REVIEW! I know that I may have rushed things in this chapter but it's the only way in which I'm going to develop the story even further! But please review!
