The boys could only stare at the invitation that Renge had since she's also a half-vampire and half-hunter but she spent most of her life with hunters which practically made her a hunter. The ivory white along with ebony black invitation that invited almost every high class hunter family to the engagement ball of the future ruler of the hunters, Haruhi. The engagement hadn't been announced until now but Haruhi and her supposed future husband had already met each other for a long time before the engagement was announced. This is what the invitation stated:

As we send you a cordial invitation to the celebration

Of the future union of Crown Princess Michelle Rosalie Blanchard Valerious

And Duke of Great Britain Christian Ellison Kirkland Fernandez

As we shall await your presence for this eve.

The scheduled date for the event is May 24th

We hope that we receive your attendance

"I never thought that she would get married but with what happened to her brother, then it does make more sense than what most people would think." Renge mused as she sat on top of one of the tables of the clubroom. "So how are you guys taking it?" she looked at the boys who were all dispersed around the room. Kyouya was leaning against the wall closest to one of the windows, Tamaki was sitting on the bench of the piano, and the twins were both sitting on tables. Mori and Honey weren't there because they were currently in college admission exams.

"We're doing fine, thanks for asking Renge." Kaoru smiled weakly at Renge who just frowned at him.

"You guys are so not fine. You all look like you got hit by a bus." Renge replied flatly as she pointed out the boys' behavior for the day. "Though your fangirls don't notice it, I truly do notice because I'm awesome along with being your friend."

"So what do you say we do?" Hikaru spoke up finally with a feeling of bile going up his throat from thinking of the only person he ever loved that was soon going to be the wife of another man instead of his. "We can't go and talk to her because she's practically untouchable from where she is now." Renge looked down at her phone and stood up from her place on the table then she walked towards the door silently without saying a word.

"I'm not saying that you guys have to all go and profess your love for her, I'm just saying that you should go see her. Listen to her voice maybe will help you ease your minds for what's going to happen." Renge advised before she exited the room. The room stayed in silence for a few minutes, none of them daring to speak up.

"It wouldn't hurt us to go to France to at least talk to her." Kyouya spoke up as he looked outside the window with a longing look in his eyes as he thought of Haruhi. The one and only person who could make his heart race, cloud his usually judgmental thoughts about what was right and was wrong, all that Kyouya knew whenever he was with Haruhi was that he wanted to spend every passing day making her happy. Kyouya knew that his love for Haruhi wasn't fake or that it solely existed because she looked like Angelique, his love for her existed from the day he met her. And there was nothing that was going to ever change that for him.

"You're right, Kyouya. We should at least stop by for her and congratulate her on her upcoming marriage." Tamaki said with a forced voice as he looked at the piano keys that hadn't been played in a while along with touched the piano sheets that had a melody that was written by both Haruhi and Tamaki when they were relaxing after a long day of hosting. Tamaki knew that his fellow vampire princes were currently hating themselves for the situation between them and also none of them could deny that there was hatred growing into a bond that had existed for almost 6 centuries between them. And it was because of Haruhi.

The twins –who always had an unbreakable bond- were starting to want to kill each other due to the fact that it was partially their fault that Haruhi left Japan to live in France and as well to the fact that both of the brothers had bitten Haruhi when they had strictly instructed each other that they weren't supposed to do so. Tamaki had distanced himself from the others after the incident in France due to the fact that he had the chance to explain everything that happened to Haruhi but he didn't, he didn't even know that when he saw her that it was Haruhi. He had only seen her as a stranger and not as the girl who dressed in men's clothes that had stolen his heart from the first moment he saw her.

"So you're saying that we should go to France and talk to Haruhi?" Kaoru spatted out. "How does that not end with the majority of the hunters in the vicinity trying to murder us?" Tamaki tried to reply but was cut off by Hikaru.

"I'm pretty sure that he wasn't saying that in that kind of concept, moron. He's just giving us an idea on what to do when we get there." Hikaru's reply was swift as he tried to silence his brother from ripping Tamaki into shreds. Recently, Kaoru had turned into a more sensitive person when it came to talking about Haruhi. It was almost as though Haruhi's departure had affected him the most and none of them could deny the truth in those words. But Kyouya stopped him before he could do anymore damage.

"We'll be departing to France tonight. Both of you go do your bags."
