I LIVE! -Insert gif of Mushu rising from his sleep-

I missed writing for this story, like today I got the greatest spout of inspiration. To all my readers, I'm sorry but I hope that you guys will like this chapter. I'm sorry I've been making you guys suffer.

In this chapter, I picked up from where I left you last time.

I hope you like it.

Christian and Jacob found themselves running together to find the vampire who had poisoned Haruhi, even though under any other circumstance they wouldn't even dream of working together but they had to. For Haruhi.

Jacob managed to catch a small whisk of the vampire's scent, he indicated to Christian to walk slowly and silently. They soon found the vampire talking to someone over the phone reporting that his mission had been completed. Jacob scoffed to himself at that statement because he would make sure that his mission wasn't complete.

The vampire hadn't seen it coming when Jacob and Christian had attacked him from behind, Christian shot him in the legs with bullets doused in holy water which made sure that he couldn't regenerate his wounds and escape. Jacob slammed his head against the wall a few times until the vampire fell unconscious and picked up the phone which he could hear a few voices who were demanding that the vampire replied.

"If you're talking about your useless minion, he's still alive but it won't be for long. I don't know if you guys are really stupid but mark my words, we have blinded our eyesight enough for you. Be prepared because a war is coming your way. Tell your masters that you pathetic dipshits." Jacob hung up after that and placed the phone in his pocket so that someone could analyze it and get some good results.

"Come on. I want someone to torture this guy already." Christian said as he poked the vampire with his foot.

"What about the bullets in his leg?" Jacob asked as they both started to drag the vampire by the leg, not even flinching when the vampire would hit his head when they turned.

"Those hurt but not as much as real torture does." Christian said before looking at Jacob from the corner of his eye. "I know you're not a fan of torture, Haruhi told me what they did to you."

"She told you?" Jacob asked.

"Yup. She isn't a fan of torture either but when we have to do it, we have to." Christian said as he spotted some guards running towards them. "Take him to the prison, make sure the chains are doused in hold water. I shall notify the king and queen about this."

"Yes sir." The guards nodded as they also dragged the vampire by the feet.

Christian and Jacob both made their way to Haruhi's room where Alexandria was standing outside.

"How is she?" Jacob asked his sister who looked terrible herself which was understandable since Haruhi and she were raised together, she loved Haruhi as a little sister considering that she didn't have her own. Her cheeks were dried with tear streaks, her eyes were smudged with mascara and eyeliner and she looked visibly traumatized.

"She's out of risk. They purged her stomach to make sure with some concoction made with holy water and a bunch of other things, her grandmother's in there with her. They told me to stay here outside to guard in case someone else that's not supposed to be here came. Did you catch him?" Alexandria questioned with worry laced in her voice, they both nodded their heads and she sighed in relief. "Thank goodness, I wouldn't be able to think about anything else if he had gotten away."

"I'll go inside. You guys should rest." Christian directed himself to Alexandria and Jacob who didn't seem so pleased at the suggestion but agreed nonetheless. The siblings walked away as Christian entered the room to see one of the doctors informing the king and queen of the situation.

"She is safe right now, we managed to purge the poison out but she needs to be watched carefully. Not anyone can come in this room because you don't know their intentions. Besides her current state is a little delicate." The doctor informed them and they nodded their heads. "I shall take my leave."

"Christian, is there anything you need to tell us?" The king asked Christian who turned his head to look at Christian, the queen still holding Haruhi's hand with tears rolling down her cheeks. He bowed down and spoke.

"We found the vampire, he is currently in our custody." Christian stayed silent for a few seconds before he continued speaking. "Your Highness, I know that you don't want to hear this but this must come to an end. We must declare war to the vampires, this has been enough of all the lines that they have crossed and that we have turned a blind eye because we didn't want war. But I believe that war is only the only way to end this."

"You're wrong Christian." The king said and Christian almost groaned before the king continued speaking.

"It is what I do not want to hear but what I need to hear. I have had enough, they murdered the former crown princess, they took the crown prince from us and now they tried to take the current crown princess. Our kingdom shall not stand for this any longer, I will talk to the werewolves to see if they will join us. The vampires have lived in enough fake peace for once." The king said before turning to look at the queen, he placed his hands on her face and wiped the tears that were streaming down. "Don't cry. She's safe. I shall call our son, he has to come."

The king left the room, the queen gestured to Christian to come close to Haruhi. She looked so pale, her lips that were formerly a purple color were slowly gaining their color, and to Christian she looked so frail as if she would break in any moment.

"You're right. Even if we don't want to, war is the only way to go." The queen spoke softly. "The last time I fought in a war was when my son was 5 years old and that was against the vampires in which we had to reach an armistice."

"I shall fight bravely, Your Highness." Christian spoke.

"I know you will. You are like my granddaughter, a man of peace but right now there is no place for peace." The queen looked at him fondly. "You two truly are a match."

"Thank you, Your Highness." Christian said.

"Don't thank me, thank the Lord for making you two match perfectly. Now take care of her for me as I go with my husband to punish that thing and make sure that the vampires know that their time is near."

To be honest in the real world I hate war but this is fiction and the vamps have gone way too far.
