Chapter Forty Eight

In the Alternate Universe

Blake and Hunter are now standing with their arms fold staring at the unconscious person that was tied to a chair. Janessa, who was standing next to Hunter, walked forward with medium worn jar and splash the water on the person.

The person stirs and winces before looking up at Blake, Hunter, and Janessa, who went back over to Hunter and stood beside him.

"Rising shine sleepyhead," Blake teased with a grin on his face.

The person struggling to break free, but couldn't. He looked up to reveal himself to be Dustin.

"You guys definitely made a mistake of capturing me," Dustin sneers. "Once my teammates realize that I'm gone, they will be coming here".

"Oh, we are counting on," Hunter glares at the person. "We want some answers"".

"I didn't hear you say pretty please or ask nicely," Dustin chuckled.

Hunter and Blake looked at each other, wondering what they should do when Janessa walked up to Dustin. Unexpectedly, she raises her hand up and closes her eyes.

Before Blake and Hunter can question what she was doing, they notice her body got charged with electricity and without warning; Janessa opens her eyes and shock Dustin with the electricity that was coming from her fingers.

Hunter and Blake wince as they watch Dustin get shock by Janessa's electricity.

"Are you ready to talk now?" Janessa retorted as Dustin screams in pain.

"Janessa..." Hunter begins to say when Janessa held her hand up, gestures him to be quiet.

"Stop!" Dustin yelled. "I'll speak!"

Janessa stopped and electricity disappears from her hand and from Dustin's body. Then she walked back over to Hunter and Blake who were surprise by her action. They were wondering where she learns to use that kind of power.

"Now talk!" Hunter ordered. "Why are you and the others attacking blue bay harbor and who are you working for?"

"Lothor," Dustin simply replied.

"What!" Blake exclaims. "Are you crazy? You guys know Lothor is bad".

"Lothor is not bad. He helps us see the truth," Dustin spats.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Hunter questioned.

"People are bad and that it's time to show what we are made of and to have them respect us," Dustin says and scoffs. "Why do I even have to explain this to you two when you are already known, but turn your back on us".

"Maybe because we realize that Luthor is bad and were only using us," Blake stated and Dustin smirked.

"That was exactly what you two said before you two met your demise, but it seems that you two are still alive".

Blake and Hunter glances at each other wonder what Dustin meant.

In the Real World

Dustin and Tori were fighting the Kelzaks while Shane and Cam take on the monsters. They saw Motodrone appeared and attacked Kapri from behind. Kapri fell down to the ground on her stomach in pain.

"Prepare for you demise," he aims his sword at Kapri, getting ready to strike her.

"No!" Dustin and Tori exclaimed as they tried to fight off the Kelzaks to reach her. Just when they thought that Kapri wouldn't make it, the black cloak figure person appeared and blast Motodrone in the face.

"Huh?" Dustin, Shane, Cam, and Tori were surprised to see the black cloak figure person.

The black cloak figure person lunged at Motodrone and slashes him in the chest three times and then kicks him in the stomach. Then she went over to Kapri and helps her up.

"Are you alright?"

Kapri nods. "Thanks to you," she replied.

Dustin stares at the black cloak figure person as he kicks the kelzaks away from him. He doesn't know why, but somehow the black cloak figure person felt familiar to him.

Motodrone tumbles backward and glares at the black cloak figure person. He immediately fires his energy beam at her.

"Watch out!" Dustin shouted.

The black cloak figure person turned around just in time to see the energy beam heading right at her and Kapri. Swiftly, she pushes Kapri out the way and took the hit in the chest.

"No!" Kapri shouted.

The black cloak figure person landed on the ground on her back in pain as Motodrone approaches. Assuming that she was out cold, he lunged at her. Mistaken, he fell right into the black cloak figure person's trap; she raises her hand up and blast at him in the face hard. He flew backward to the ground.

"This isn't over yet!" He got up tumbling and vanished.

Dustin and Tori manage to defeat all the Kelzaks. They quickly rush over to Kapri and the black cloak figure.

"Are you two okay?" Tori questioned.

"Yeah," Kapri replied as she helps the black cloak figure person. "Go help Shane and Cam," She told them.

Tori and Dustin took off running toward Cam and Shane. Halfway, Dustin stopped and turned to look at the black cloak figure person. He wanted to ask who him/her was, but knew it wasn't a good time. He immediately turned back around and ran after Tori toward the others.

The monster slashes Cam and Shane in the chest and tosses them over his shoulder. They landed on the ground on their stomach as Dustin and Tori appear by the side.

Tori and Dustin charge at the monster, pulling their weapons out. Dustin splits into two of him and attack the monster at same time with Tori.

The monster tumbles backward and glares at them. Shane and Cam rush over to them.

They combined the weapons together and blast at the monster. Assuming that the attack work when the monster got hit, the rangers cheer.

It didn't last long when a huge energy beam was blast at them. They fell to the ground in pain and looked up to see the monster still alive.

"No way!" Shane exclaimed.

"Impossible," Tori added

"Guys, return back to Ninja Ops," Cyber Cam voice spokes from the rangers morphers.

"But..." Shane spokes, but got interrupted by Sensei.

"Rangers return to Ninja Ops now," he ordered.

"Yes Sensei," Shane agreed and begins to retreats with the others.

"Going somewhere," the monster laughs and releases his huge energy beam at the rangers again.

"Not again!" Cam exclaimed.

"Everyone get down!" Shane shouted as he got in front of everyone, shielding them.

"Shane no!" Dustin shouted and went over and stood in front of Shane.

"Dustin!" everyone screamed.

Just as the huge energy beam was about hit Dustin and Shane, the black cloak person got in front of him and blocks the attack.

"Go!" she shouted.

The rangers retreat with Kapri, who at first refuses to leave, but end up getting drag away by Cam and Shane.

The black cloak figure person manages to reflect half the attack back at the monster while taking the hit from the other half in the chest. The monster and the black cloak figure person landed on the ground in pain.

In the Alternate Universe

Blake grabs Dustin by the collar of his shirt. "What do you mean our demise?" he demanded an answer.

Dustin chuckles as he stares at Hunter and Blake. "You two seriously don't know?" he asked.

"Know what?" Hunter asked.

"You two were supposed to be dead".

"Dead?" Hunter and Blake looked at each other in shock for a moment.

"Wow, you two really don't remember," Dustin looked back and forth at Hunter and Blake and laughed.

"Of course we remember," Blake said, deciding to play along.

"Except how we died," Hunter added.

"I know how," Dustin says.

"How?" Blake asked.

Silent ensue the room for a few moments before Dustin spokes again. "We killed you," he stated with a serious tone.

In the Real world

At Ninja Ops, the rangers were going over what happened. Cam was at the computer with Skyla who just filled in what Cyber Cam found and how it could bring Hunter and Blake back.

"I knew it!" Cam said as he looked at the computer main frame. "It's that box device that is attached around that monster's waist."

"Uh Cam, mind explaining to us what Cyber Cam found," Shane said.

"You know that sliver box that's around the monster waist".

"Yeah," Shane and the other nodded.

"Well, that was what made that monster strong and it also sent Hunter and Blake into that portal to a different universe".

"So, what you are saying that if we destroy that box, Hunter and Blake will return and we can easy take out the monster" said Shane, who understands what Cam was trying to point out.

"Exactly," Cam replied.

"That's good new," Dustin said as he got up.

"Yeah," Tori agreed.

"Not entirely good news because we still need to figure out a way to get closer to the monster," Cam points out.

"Good point," Shane nodded.

Kapri was walking to exit.

"Kapri, where are you going?" Tori asks when she notices Kapri was walking toward the exit. "You're not planning to return to Lothor ship, are you?"

"I..."

"Kapri, you can't go back," Cam got up. "Lothor already know about betrayal so it's not safe for you to return back there".

"But..."

"You are worry about that black cloak figure person, right?" Dustin asked as if he can read her mind.

When Kapri didn't answer, Dustin knew it was true. "Stay here, I'm pretty sure that him/her is safe," he assured.

Kapri nods, knowing that Dustin was probably right. Dustin begins to walk toward the exit.

"Where are you going?" Shane asked.

"Storm Charger to see if Kelly need help," Dustin answered before he left.

An Hour later, Dustin arrives at Storm Charger and saw Kelly was closing up,

"Kelly!" he called out to her as he walked over to her.

"Dustin," she was surprised to see him. "What are you doing here?"

"I came to see if you and Janessa need help," he looked around. "Where's Janessa?"

Kelly shrugs "Haven't lately".

Dustin scratches his head. "That's weird, do she called to let you know why she's absent?"

"Nope, not at all," Kelly looked at Dustin. "Did she contact you?"

"No," Dustin sighs and Kelly turns back around to lock the door.

"Kelly, let me lock it up for you since I have to get some out from Storm Charger," he told her.

"Okay," Kelly agreed and then left, leaving the key with Dustin. Dustin was about to open the door to storm charger when he heard footsteps from behind.

He swiftly turned around and was about to fight the intruder when his eyes widen. Standing in front in him was Marah, who was injury badly. She was clutching her rib that was bleeding.

"Marah?" he asked unsure if it was really her.

"Dustin," she weakly said before she fainted.

Dustin immediately rushes over and caught her just in time before she collapses to the ground.

TBC: Yes Dustin and Marah reunited again. Yay!

Next chapter Hunter, Janessa, and Blake will return to the real world by the end of the chapter.
