Chapter Sixty: Down and Dirty
"Welcome to the Blue Bay Harbor and the last qualifier before the Nationals next month," the announcer's voice said "the top four qualifiers this season will go through to the big show, so there is a lot at stake here folks"
Hunter and Kapri were walking side by side holding hands while Blake was walking beside Kelly. Hunter and Blake were dressed in their motor cross gears
"You put in a new air filter right?" Kelly asked as she walked slightly ahead of Blake and Hunter towards the starting line of the next race
"Yeah," Blake answered as he looked up at Kelly's questioned and Hunter glanced across at his brother
"Did you seal it, so no dirt gets in your air box?"
Blake shook his head "Bro, I'm not an idiot"
"Hey, has anyone seen Dustin?" Kelly asked with a small frown.
The two rangers and Kapri frowned.
"Nah, I thought he'll be here for sure," Blake answered.
Hunter let go of Kapri's hand and walked over to his bike.
"Thanks man," He told the guys that was standing next to his bike as he reached for his helmet.
"Marah told me that she was meeting up with him," Kapri added before she went over to Hunter at his bike and kiss on the lips. "Good luck," She smiled at him.
Hunter hugged her and smile back at her, muttered "Thanks" to her before letting her go.
Blake gave Kapri a hug before getting his bike as well, thanking a guys as well.
"Good luck," She said to him as well after she gave him a kiss on the cheek.
"Thanks," Blake nodded and turned to look at his brother with a smirked. "Hey, hunter, how about a good luck kiss?" He jokingly asked.
"Ha ha funny," Hunter glared and playfully punched Blake in the arm as Kapri and Kelly headed back to the sidelines to watch the race.
"Crazy huh?" Hunter stared a head and spoked.
"What's that?" Blake asked.
"Well if one of us win, it's not like we can bail to fly around the countryside racing," Hunter answered.
The thirty second board were shown and the racers revved up their bike
Blake turned and looked at his brother. "Dude, I just want to prove that I can beat these clowns." He smiled. "As long I do that, man it all good".
"Well don't get too disappointed," Hunter said with a smile.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Blake asked.
Hunter grinned "I'm not here to podium, I want first. We may be good as a team, but… we're still racing".
"No problems here," Blake agreed and high fived his brother.
They put their helmets on as the man held up the five second sign before moving out of the way as the gates came down
Hunter and Blake were the first two riders over the gates and sped off over the track as the crowd around the outside cheered loudly. Kapri smiled from her place behind Kelly as she watched the two brothers' race.
"And there they go!" the announcer continued "and it seems like an early start for Hunter Bradley on the inside track"
The two brothers pulled ahead of the other riders. Blake was coming closer to Hunter as they hit a hill and reached the corner.
"Now it's Hunter and Blake Bradley out in front and they are battling!" the announcer's voice spokes again "You wouldn't know these guys were brothers!"
Blake pulled head and Hunter hit the outer lane and it was clear he hadn't planned for that to happen. Seconds later Blake flew through the finish line.
"And Blake Bradley takes the win!" the announcer confirmed "that was a close race ladies and gentlemen"
Blake pulled his bike up to the Storm Chargers van as Kelly and Kapri made their way over to him when Hunter appeared and tossed his helmet down to the ground with a growled.
"You're gonna scratch your helmet," Blake said, pointing at his brother's helmet as Kelly and Kapri watch them in concern.
Hunter didn't seem to care "What was that?" he demanded "You totally high-sided me!" "
No I didn't," Blake argued "you came under me"
"That's ridiculous!" Hunter protested, following his brother towards the equipment tools on the other side of the bikes with Kelly and Kapri right behind him.
Blake scoffed "Besides, you wanted to race?" he questioned "I was racing!"
"Do you realize what this means? The Crimson ranger asked "I don't make nationals?"
"So what?" Blake questioned "You said you can't go anyways,"
Hunter growled slightly and turned away from his younger brother. He moved past Kelly and Kapri and would have kept going if it hadn't been for Blake calling out to him and stopping him in his tracks.
"Hey! You know what I think?" Blake asked "I think you're just mad, because you got beat by your little brother! If it was any one of these other guys it would have been a clean pass, but because it was me!"
Hunter shook his head and continued walking away; kicking a plastic chair out of his way as he went.
"Hunter wait!" Kapri went after him.
"Hey," Kelly said as she approached Blake from behind "is everything alright here?"
"Just great!" Blake answered her before walking off himself; Kelly looked towards where Kapri went after Hunter then towards the area Blake was heading before she left the scene.
"Hunter wait," Kapri yelled as she ran to catch up with him, grabbing his arm to stop him for walking further. He turned and watched her.
She bended over with her hands on her knees and breathe heavily.
"Did Blake send you to go after," He asked, clearly still upset.
Kapri stood up straight and shook her head. "No, I came on my own because I worried about you. Plus, Blake was upset but you seem worse," She told him.
"Well, that because my brother wasn't playing fair," He spats, clearly angry and haven't calm down yet.
"Hunter, I'm sorry about what happen," Kapri placed her hand on his shoulder and slightly smiled. "I wish there something I can do to help".
Hunter sighs and calm down. He was feeling bad for taking it out on her. He pulled her into his arms and hugged. "I'm sorry; I shouldn't take out on you. You didn't do anything wrong," He looked down at her and smile a little. "Thanks for being here".
"Anytime," She looked up at him and slightly smiled. "Do you want to talk about it?" She asked.
"Sure why not?" He agreed and they left together to Storm Charger. "I guess I can talk to Shane about it".
Blake was watching the free style game cheering and applauding when Kelly appeared next to him "Hey," He turned to look at her. "Where's Hunter?" She asked him.
"He left," He simply said and turned his attention back to the free style game.
"I see," Kelly joined him and watched the free style game. She looked around and spotted a familiar face in the crowd. "Marah?"
"What?" Blake turned to where Kelly was looking and was surprised. "Marah? What's she doing here? I thought she was supposed to be with Dustin".
"Hmmm," Kelly wrinkled her eyebrows. "Let's go find out". She suggested and Blake nodded.
She and Blake walked over to where Marah was.
"Hey there," Kelly called out to her.
Marah slightly startled and turned her head "Kelly? Blake?" She was surprised to see them. "What are you guys doing here?"
"We were about to ask you the same thing," Blake answered.
"Aren't you supposed to be with Dustin?" Kelly asked, suspecting that Marah was hiding something.
"Yeah, he's," She started to say but stop when she saw a rider in yellow clad pulled up on his bike, revved it, and was preparing to perform.
"Dustin," Marah muttered as she recognizes the rider in yellow clad.
The rider went up on the ramp and into the air. The bike did the splits in midair and came back down on the other ramp when it slides out from under him. He went rolling on the ground.
Marah gasped and ran off leaving Blake and Kelly staring after her confused.
"Marah, where are you going?" Kelly called after her.
The medics rushed over to the rider on the ground and helped him, checking him for any injuries. The rider pulled his helmet off to reveal him self to be Dustin.
"Dustin!" Blake and Kelly exclaimed before they ran off.
"Thanks guys," Dustin said to paramedics before he proceeds to walked on his own. Out from the corner of his eyes, he saw Marah running over to him.
"Dustin!"
"Marah," He held his arms open as Marah ran into his arms, hugging him tight.
"Are you alright?" Her voice trembled as she asked.
"Yeah, I'm okay," Dustin rubbed her back, assuring her that he's fine when Kelly and Blake made their way over to him. He let go of Marah, but still has his arms around her shoulders.
"Dustin, are you alright?" Kelly touched him and asked "Since when did you start doing free style demo?" She turned and looked at Marah. "And did you know about his?"
"Yeah man, I thought you didn't want to get hurt for the race season,' Blake added, slightly chuckled.
"One question at a time," Dustin shakes his head and smiled. "Dude, you're not helping". He slightly glared at the navy ranger.
Blake patted Dustin's shoulder. "I'll be waiting in the van," He then walked off leaving Kelly and Marah with Dustin, who turned and looked at Kelly.
"Marah didn't know until I told her last night," He defended his girlfriend. "So don't be upset at her".
"What's happening?" Kelly questioned.
"Uh, I guess I just miss free style you know," Dustin explained. "I've been so busy and I haven't had time to hit the ramp.
Kelly slightly scoffed with a smile and shook her head as she walked away.
"What?" Dustin let go of Marah and followed beside Kelly with Marah right behind him. "What's that?"
"You have a promising racing career," She pointed out. "You really want to risk that?"
"I don't know,' Dustin shrugged. "Why can't I do both?" He asked.
"You're a great rider, Dustin, but you're not Travis Pastrana," Kelly replied and walked off.
Dustin stared after Kelly, wondering what he should do when he felt a hand on his shoulder. He turned and saw Marah looked at him with her hand resting on his shoulder.
Even though, she was not saying anything, he knew that she was supporting him and comforting him.
He smiled at her, grabbing her hand off his shoulder and held it in his hand as they walked away.
"I can't believe he did that," Blake talked to Tori, who were sitting at the TV room with him at Storm Chargers. He was filling her in on what happened between him and Hunter at the race.
In the back room of Storm Chargers, Hunter was taking to Shane about it too. They were seated on the counter.
"He stuffed me!" He told Shane. "He totally blocked me!"
"You don't really expect me take side on this, you do?" Tori asked Blake who looked away.
"Yeah," Shane didn't really want to choose side and pointed his pen that's in his hands at Hunter. "I'm not choosing between you two because that would be lame".
"Tori," Blake gestured with his hands. "Just admit it that he shouldn't step me like that".
Tori sighed, not knowing what to do.
"Whatever it might have look like, I'm sure he didn't mean to do it," Shane tried to reason with Hunter to let it go and settle with Blake.
"All I know is that there clean racing and dirty racing," Hunter told him. "And what he did is was definitely dirty".
"All I know is that you guys have to work these things out," Tori told Blake to convince him to settle with Hunter. "You should see my sister and me".
"Ay, when me and my brother start to fight, look out," Shane warned Hunter, pointing the pen again at Hunter, who looked away.
"I'm not apologizing to him until he does to me," Blake stated.
"Well, I'm not going to him no matter what," Hunter clearly not going to settle with Blake. He got off the counter and left with Shane staring after him.
"He's still upset isn't he?" Kapri appeared by Shane side and asked.
Shane sighed and nodded. "Yeah".
Blake and Hunter came face to face but avoid speaking to each other and left in different directions.
Shane, Kapri, and Tori walked over to each other.
"Maybe we should lock them in Ninja Ops and let them fight it out," Tori suggested and Shane laughed.
"Haha yeah I'll pay to see that," He agreed while Kapri sighed and shakes her head.
Suddenly Dustin walked over to the tree of them with Marah beside him. He was holding a rag, looking bummed out.
"Dustin, are you alright?" Tori asked in concern when she notices him not happy.
"Yeah, I could use a little more help with Hunter," Shane touched Dustin's shoulders.
Dustin played with the rag in his hand, stretching it, "Yeah, I have a lot of things on my mind," He told them while Marah placed a hand on his back to comfort him.
Suddenly, their communicators beep.
"Dustin and Tori leaned in into listen to Shane's communicator while Marah and Kapri keep a look out.
"Go for Shane," Shane spokes into his communicator.
"You guys better get over here," Cam's voice replied.
"On our way," Shane answered and the five of them left out of Storm Charger to Ninja Ops.
"What's up?" Shane asked he and others entered Ninja Ops.
Skyla and Cam looked up from his laptop "Look at this," he said "and more importantly listen" he hit enter as Blake took up refugee on the table as Tori and the others leaned over Cam, Hunter took up refugee on the "Come rangers, don't you want to come out and play?" asked a familiar voice "It's just little old me" Dustin frowned "Is that who I think it is?" he asked
"Shimazu" Tori spoke; it was a statement, not a question.
Sensei slid across the top of the laptop and landed on the desk beside Blake "You are correct Tori," he answered "there is no time to waste; you must intercept her before he can do any damage"
"I'll initiate the Zord sequence from here" Cam told them "then join you"
"Right," Shane nodded as he turned away from the laptop, the others following him.
"Wait!" Sensei said stopping them "Before you go! Hunter, Blake" he addressed the Thunders rangers who turned to look at him "remember, whatever differences you may have right now, you must put them aside while performing your ranger duties."
Blake folded his arms childishly "I will if he does,"
"Don't worry about me, dude!" Hunter spats back.
Kapri and Tori exchanged glances and slightly frowns while Shane gave Skyla a hug and a smiled.
"Be careful Dustin," Marah whispered to Dustin, who turned and touched her shoulder.
"I will, don't worry," He assured her.
The rangers were standing in the middle of the room of Ninja Ops as Shane took the lead "Now that's out of the way" he said "Ready?"
"Ready!" His teammates said in unison.
"Ninja Storm! Ranger Form!"
"Thunder Storm! Ranger Form!"
The five of them morphed in perfect synchronization; and as they left Ninja Ops.
"Ninja Ranger Power!"
They quickly entered their zords cock pit before meeting Shimazu head on.
"Storm Megazord!" Shane, Dustin, and Tori chorused.
"Thunder Megazord!" Blake and Hunter chorused.
"Well, well there they are," Shizamu says. "Ready to be destroy the rangers?"
"Oh it's on," Dustin declared and the battle began.
"Let's do this!" Hunter said from the Thunder Megazord as it stood on the left flank of the Storm Megazord; each with a weapon. The two Megazord moved forward to attacked but Shimazu blocked and attacked back.
"Feel the love rangers!" Shizamu snickered. "Ready for some more!?"
Dustin locked and dropped a Power Sphere and the zord produced a laser cannon which he fired at Shimazu who managed to dodge and the lasers collided with the Thunder Megazord; who didn't move in time and hit the ground with a crash.
"No!" the Wind rangers including Kapri and Marah at Ninji Ops yelled and Shimazu laughed from inside his megazord
"Nice shot losers! Man, this is easier than I thought it would be"
Suddenly Blake and Hunter's arguing could be heard over the intercoms
"Why didn't you duck?" Hunter demanded
Blake's anger filled voice sounded "Me? You're the one with lateral controls!" He slammed his fist down.
"Excuse me, but what did we just discuss?" Sensei asked from where he was watching with Cam staring down at him.
"Sorry Sensei," the Thunder brothers apologized "It won't happen again"
"Hmm," Cam shakes his head and smile a little "Sometime I'm glad I'm the only child".
"Same," Skyla agreed as she too was the only child with no siblings. Cam glanced up at her as she patted his shoulder. Then he resume back to watching the screen.
Kapri and Marah shake their head and grinned from where they were watching at the screen.
"This isn't working!" Shane complained the Storm Megazord against the Thunder Megazord, kicking back online.
"I'm going to Lightening Mode!" Shane said and the Wind Megazord became slimmer and managed to slash at Shimazu's megazord, sending it to the ground. Shimazu cried at the sudden turn of events.
"Let's finish this!" Shane commanded
"NOW!" Shimazu ordered, and a pink laser beams hit the Storm Megazord. Two more megazords appeared alongside with Shimazu.
"Who's that?" Shane questioned.
The two megazords got into their fighting stance as an all too familiar voice sounded from inside "Hello rangers, you didn't think that Shimazu was doing alone did you?" The voice send shivered down Marah's back.
"Huh?" Dustin was confused to why the voice sounded like Marah when realization dawn to him. "It you!" he retorted.
"Imposter Marah?" Tori asked.
"Hello Rangers," Marah's voice sneered. "Miss me?"
"Who the hell are you?" Dustin spats.
"You fool! " Shimazu laughed. "That is a Marah's clone that I created when I took a piece of DNA from the real Marah".
"What!" Everyone gasped.
"Impossible, how can it be?" Shane asked.
Cam turned at Marah who was confused to where there was a clone of her. "Marah, do you have any idea how Shimazu got a piece of your DNA?"
Marah shook her head. "I have no clue," She hugged herself and Skyla comfort her.
Kapri, who was watching the screen, balled her hands in a fist and tightened it in anger. "I do"
Cam, Skyla, and Marah turned their head and looked at her as she continued, "It happened when Marah was captured by Lothor after she betrayed him. That bastard must had sneak in the room where Marah held and took a piece of her DNA when she was unconscious". She slammed her fist down on the table in frustration. "Why didn't I know this before and prevent it".
"It's not your fault," Marah told her. "You didn't know it would happen and Shimazu was a sneaky bastard. No one knew what he was up to".
"Does it mean that she's connected to Marah?" Tori asked in concern as her face appeared on the screen
"No, she's not," Kapri answered. "You can destroy her with no problem. Go for it!" She encouraged them.
Inside the third megazord, it shows a kelzak controlling it.
"Let's do this!" Dustin exclaimed. "This time you'll be wishing you haven't came here!"
Marah's clone's megazord fired it lasers once more at the Wind rangers as they chart wheeled aside avoiding her attacks; but when they stopped, Shimazu had jumped forward and fired his own lasers at them. They made it back to their feet but Shimazu attacked again, and sent them crashing to the ground.
"Tori are you alright?" Cam asked as he monitored the rangers from Ninja Ops.
Tori groaned before answered "Yeah, just a little shaken"
"You're gonna be more than a little shaken in a minute sister,"Shimazu said as his megazord leaped up and kicked the Storm Megazord into the Thunder Megazord, turning it back online.
"I'm back online" Hunter said
"Me too!" Blake agreed.
"Tori, I've got something to even the odds" Cam said over the open communication link "Stand by, I'm on my way"
"You got it!" the blue ranger answered.
Cam got his seat and turned to look at Marah and Kapri. "Are you guys going to okay?"
"Yeah," his cousins nodded.
"Cam?" Marah turned to look her. "Defeat her for me".
Nodded, Cam replied. "I will".
"Good luck," He heard Kapri and Skyla said before he morphed into the Green Samurai Ranger.
Cam had arrived on scene already morphed. But he wasn't alone; there were three other helicopters behind him, all of the Samurai Megazord.
"It's Cam!" Shane said
"And Cam!" Tori responded
"And Cam?" Dustin said in surprised.
"Woah!" the others breathed as they stared at the drones "What?"
"Hey, fight fire with fire right?" Cam asked, the three Samurai star Megazords landed one after another of the ground beside the three other Megazords
"But how?" Tori asked in confusion
"Their drones," Cam answered "use them to combine with your Megazord!"
"Talk about multi-tasking" Dustin laughed
"Let's try them out" Shane said, as Tori removed herself from the side of the Wind Megazord and one drone re-attached itself; the second drone then turned back into a helicopter and attached itself to the Thunder Megazord.
This left Tori on her own on the sidelines waiting for an opportunity to open up so she could get back in on the battle.
The storm megazord, thunder megazord and samurai megazord turned and looked at the dolphin zord.
"Tori, be ready!" Shane told her.
"Standing by," Tori replied.
"Are you ready to toast these teenagers?" Fake Marah asked Shimazu, who looked around at the console in his megazord.
"All sequences prepared to fire" he confirmed
"It's good to be bad" Fake Marah said, with a smirked.
The fight between good and evil began once more; Fake Marah's Megazord Megazord, Kelzaks megazord vs. Cam's Samurai Megazord, and Shimazu;s Megazord vs. Thunder Megazord.
Shane aimed a hit at Fake Marah, but she deflected it and slashed back at the two wind rangers knocking them slightly off guard for a few seconds.
"Maximum power!" the red ranger commanded and the spinners on the side of the Samurai Star Megazord that had attached to the side of the Wind Megazord started to spin wildly before the cannon was aimed at Shimazu's megazord.
Blake and Hunter also started to collect electrical impulses from the surrounding air and aimed their Cannon's at Shimazu. The two Megazords fired and the energy blasts hit Fake Marah and Shimazu's megazords, causing them to explode killing Fake Marah in the process while Shimazu ejected from his zord.
"I knew this would happen!" Shimazu complained from the ground. "That's why I always have a backup plan". He snickered.
The storm and thunder megazords suddenly started to spark, disabling the controls.
"Hey!" Shane exclaimed
"Are you guys feeling this?" Dustin asked
"I am," Hunter answered "What it is?"
"I don't know!" Blake responded
There was a clang as the kelzak megazord crossed it blades and blocked an attack from Cam, pushing the Samurai megazord and sending it to the ground with a crash seconds
"Ah!" Cam screamed.
"Tori?" He asked "ready to get in this?"
"You know it!" Tori replied and moved her control.
The Dolphin Zord squeaked as it appeared "Remember me?" she asked, latching onto the side Kelzak's zord.
Tori let go and bobbed backwards on the tail of her Zord; as the dolphin chirped happily.
"Yeah!' Shane exclaimed. "You go!"
The drones had disappeared from the Wind, and Thunder Megazords; and Tori re-attached herself to the Wind Megazord. The two megazords are back normal and ready to attack.
"Now, let's show her what a real Zord is!"
"Whoa," Shane said "You heard her guys! Locked and dropped!"
Everyone locked and dropped their Power Spheres combing all the megazord together.
"Tornado Megazord!" all the rangers yelled form inside the head of the Megazord
"Your gonna have a mammoth headache when this is over!" Tori said, as the Lightening rift blaster was passed onto her; as she commanded the Mammoth Zord forward.
The rangers combined with the Mammoth Zord and called forth all their individual weapons which also combined. "Mammoth Megazord Blast!"
Tori yelled "Activate!"
"FIRE!" the others yelled as they all pulled back on their controls; and shot out numerous energy blasts at Kelzak's megazord, destroying it and the kelzak.
The ranger cheered for their victory while Shimazu growled.
"I can't they ruin my plan!" He stared at the megazord. "Mark my word, this isn't over!"
Shimazu turned to leave but stopped when he saw a figure appeared in front of him.
"Ah! What do you want," He stared at figure slowly recognizing who it was. "Hey, I know you! You use to work for Zurgane!"
"I did but not anyone," the figure answered, revealing to be Janessa in her thunder ninja attire. She aimed her sliver staff with crimson gem on it at him.
"No wait!" Shimazu begged, but Janessa wasn't listening. Instead she blasted him with the powerful energy beam from the crimson on the sliver staff and obliterated him.
She lowered her sliver staff down and saw what remain of Shimazu, which was his red mask.
"Bravo!" a voice spokes up and she swiftly turned around to see Vexacus standing behind her with his arms folded. "I'm impressed, why don't you join me to defeated Lothor, what you do say?" He offered her chance to join him.
"No," Janessa refused.
"Then you shall be destroyed," Vexacus throw out his arm and blasted at Janessa, who immediately shield herself with her sliver staff "Goodbye!"
Two blur figure appeared in front of Janessa and reflected the blast right back at Vexacus, knocking him to the ground.
"What!" Vexcaus got immediately and looked over to see the thunder rangers standing in front of Janessa with their back facing her. She was surprised to see them showing up.
"Have enough or do you want some more?" Hunter asked as he held his thunder staffs out ready to attack with Blake holding his own thunder staff as well.
"This ain't over yet rangers," Vexcaus vanished away.
Hunter turned around and looked at Janessa. "Are you alright?" He asked as he demorphed with Blake.
Janessa nodded. She unable to neither say anything and look at Hunter and Blake in their eyes.
"Janessa," Hunter took a step forward but kept his distance because he was afraid that he might scare her.
Taking a deep breath, Janessa finally looked up and stared at Hunter and Blake. "Thank you for saving me."
"No problem at all. That's what family does for each other," Blake told her. "You remember, don't you?" He asked, even though he knew the answer.
Janessa looked away. "I remember everything," She answered. "But, I can't face you two after what I have done" She felt herself tearing but was trying to control it.
Feeling emotional and without thinking, Hunter walked up to her and pulled her into his arms, hugging her. Janessa tensed from the hug and tried to break free, but Hunter held his grip on her.
"I have found you again and I'm never going to let you go," He told her. "I don't blame you for what happen. It wasn't your fault so don't be hard on yourself and let us help you".
Janessa closed her eyes and let tears fell down her cheeks as she hugged her brother back. "Hunter," She cried. "I'm so sorry".
"It okay,' Hunter muttered to her before he let go.
She turned to look at Blake, who pulled in his arms, hugging her as well. "Welcome back Janessa". He told her and rubbed her back.
"Blake," Janessa muttered as she hugged him back. "Thank you".
From a far, Dustin, Shane, Tori, and Cam were watching the sibling reunion while Sensei, Skyla, Marah, and Kapri were back in Ninja Ops, watching on the computer screen.
"Now that what I call family," Shane commented.
"Do you think Hunter and Blake are still angry at each other?" Dustin asked.
Cam smiled "Judging from that, I'm sure they've already forgotten about being mad at each other".
"Sensei, do you think Janessa will joining us," Tori spokes into her communicator.
"Janessa may not be joining us, but she'll still be a part of Hunter and Blake life". Sensei answered.
"Which mean that they keep in contact with each other," Cam said more specific. "Janessa will visit us often when she able to".
They watched as Hunter, Janessa, and Blake made their way over to them. Cam, Shane, Dustin, and Tori welcome Janessa with open arms.
Dustin walked in with Marah and look around for Kelly when he spotted her.
"Go," Marah ushered him with a smile. He turned to her and nodded before he walked over to Kelly.
"Hey Kel, Can I talk to you for a sec?"
"Sure," Kelly came out from behind the counter and walked up to Dustin. "What's up?"
"I made a decision," Dustin stated
"About what?" Kelly asked, looking at him.
"I'm giving up racing.
"You're not serious?" Kelly asked with a shock expression.
"Yeah, I am." Dustin sighed and nodded.
"Please tell me, this has nothing to do with what we talked about?" Kelly said with a concern look.
"I really like racing," Dustin begins, but Kelly interrupted him
"Then why would you give it up?" she asked.
"Because I realize that I love free style," he explained "That's what I want to do and um I don't want to let you down since you have been so good to me,"
Kelly touched his arm "Look, Storm Chargers is about action sports and freestyle Motocross is an action sport," She smiles "If that's what you want to do, I'm behind you one hundred percent and so is the shop."
Dustin smiled and hugged Kelly, "Thanks, Kel."
Marah smiles, knowing that Dustin has finally figured out what he really want to do.
"Oh, I almost forgot," he let go of Kelly.
"You got go somewhere, right?"
Dustin nodded "Yeah, I'm sorry, I'll make it up to you, working extra shift," he assured.
Kelly playfully hit his shoulder and smile "It's okay, don't worry about it, just go," she told him. "She waiting for you," She looked passed Dustin at Marah, who smiled at her.
"Thanks," he smiles and went over to Marah "Let's go," he grabbed her hand and lead her out the door.
"Bye Kelly," Marah waved with a smile.
"Bye Marah," Kelly waved back.
"Alright, five laps," Hunter told Blake at the race track. They were on the bike getting ready to have a rematch.
"Five laps, let's settle this once and for all" Blake replied.
"Fine!" Hunter agreed.
The two of them took off around the track. Kapri and Janessa were watching them from the sideline.
"So, what's next for you?" Kapri asked her.
"I don't know yet," Janessa turned her head and looked at Kapri "But I told Hunter that I'm leaving…,"
"You're leaving again?" Kapri stared at Janessa in concern. If Janessa leaving, how would affect Hunter.
"I'm leaving to meet up with Leanne. Don't worry I'll visit," Janessa told her. We're planning to rescue the ninja students with my father (Sensei Omino)".
"And Hunter and Blake are fine with this?"
Janessa nodded. "Yeah," She sighed and watched Hunter and Blake racing on the track. "I have to do this to make up for what I did while under the evil spell".
"I understand," Kapri smiled. "Just be careful".
"I will," Janessa replied.
For the first few runs Hunter was in the lead; but when they came to the last turning Blake took the outside track and managed to come out on top, and flew through the finished line first.
"Yeah, man" Blake said with a smile as he removed his helmet "good race. You totally railed that last turn"
"Yeah, thanks" Hunter said, breathing heavy "you were right" he added
"About what?" Blake asked, looking back at his brother
"About what you said earlier," Hunter continued "you beat me fair and square – its hard to admit that your little bro does something better than you do"
Blake shook his head "Listen man, today may be better, tomorrow may not be, but we'll always be bros. You got to remember that".
"Yeah we do," Hunter replied and high fived Blake as the girls ran over to him and Blake.
"You guys were great out there," Janessa commented and touched Hunter and Blake shoulders.
"Thanks sis," Hunter and Blake chorused.
"So, I take that you guys are not angry at each other," Kapri said as she hugged Hunter and Blake.
"Why would they be angry at each other?" Janessa confusedly asked.
"I'll tell you some other time," Kapri told her.
Janessa grinned. "I can't wait to hear it".
"Glad you two guys are brothers again," Tori said as she shows up with Dustin and Marah.
"And not fighting," Dustin added and everyone looked at him "What?"
Everyone laughs at Dustin's expression. Then everyone left the dirt track having a conversation what they should do now.
Dustin appeared and walked next to Janessa. "Hey"
"Hey," She greeted him back.
"I'm happy to see you return," He told her.
"Yeah, I'm happy to be back too," Janessa slightly smiled. 'But I'm not staying that long".
"Why? Are you going somewhere?" Dustin asked.
"I have something important to do," She turned and looked at Dustin and smiled. "Don't worry I will visit".
"Great," Dustin smiled and stared ahead. "Anyways, I want to say thank you".
Janessa blinked her eyes "For what?"
"For saving me back then," He recalled back to when Janessa saved him from the monster and ended up in a coma, nearly died.
"Oh," Janessa realized what incident Dustin was mentioning about. "No problem at all. You would have done the same thing if you were in my position".
"Still I want to thank you," Dustin stopped walking and turned to look at Janessa. "Janessa?"
Janessa stopped walking and looked over at Dustin. "Yeah?"
"There is something I need ask you to clarify"
Curiously to know what was on Dustin's mind, Janessa asked. "What is it?"
"Is it true?" Dustin touched the back of his head with his hand. "That you did have a crush on me?"
Arkward was ensues among them after the question was asked. Janessa sighed "I did have a crush on you" she admitted. "But I now know that you in love with someone else and we can only be friend. I'm fine with us being friends".
"Me too," Dustin agreed. "I miss being friends with you".
"Really? You do?" Janessa was surprised that Dustin missed being friend with her.
Dustin nodded. "Yeah and I was hoping that we can still be friends".
Feeling happy that Dustin still wants to be her friend, Janessa replied. "Of course," Then she continued walking next to Dustin, who started to chuckled.
"What's so funny?" She asked.
"I guess I have an affect on you turning good," He told her.
"Shut up," Janessa playfully shoved him. "Race ya" She challenged him.
"You're on!" Dustin accepted the challenge.
They ran off to see who made it to Storm Charger first.
