Jason9000: Hey readers, hope you're doing well. We're going back to the Z-fighters for today. We'll start bringing the chapters in sync so we won't be skipping back in time between the forces of good and evil. Okay let's get going*

Vegeta had been meditating since he had finished his lunch. Kakarot and his sons were due to be out soon by his reckoning. It wouldn't be long now. He would soon reach new strength that was once again deemed impossible. It was funny now that he thought about it. He and his fellow warriors; even the Humans by their standards, would reach plateau's of power not even imagined. Now it didn't surprise him. He and the others would continue to gain strength. Oh sure, when he was an old man he'd probably "regress" a bit, but unless he lived to be around 140 (which was rare even for the elites of his home planet) he wouldn't be back to the level he was when he arrived on this planet.

He smiled thinking of how the Saiyans idolized warriors that lived to their old age. It meant they were the best fighters their race had to offer. Even a low class warrior was treated with some respect if they lived to be an old man. They were great for teaching lessons to the youngest generation or slapping sense into the arrogant adults who were becoming blind by their own power. Vegeta started thinking of his own grandfather. He didn't remember much of him. He disappeared a long time ago around the time his younger brother Tarble was born. Vegeta remembered his grandfather teaching him two things. How to fly under his own power; and how to fire an energy beam properly, instead of it blowing up in your hands. If he remembered correctly his grandfather looked a lot like Vegeta himself, but he could be confusing him for his father.

He snapped out of his thoughts when he felt someone approach him. He slowly opened his eyes and let them adjust to the blinding sunlight and saw Mr. Popo standing in front of him.

"What is it?" Vegeta asked him.

"Goku and the others should be leaving any minute now. Goku's wife sent me over so you can help carry the food you need into the time chamber," Mr. Popo said.

Vegeta blinked at Kakarot's wife's strange request. He was about to tell the genie he wouldn't do it, but Mr. Popo spoke before him.

"She also said and I quote 'If he doesn't help, then he gets no food in the chamber and he can starve for all I care'. She also told me that she would have Majin Buu turn all of your food into candy if you tried to eat any."

Vegeta started fuming for a second. How dare that harpy tell him to do such a menial task? He took a deep breath and got up slowly. He would confront her about this. He was the Prince of Saiyans! Not some butler to carry food when asked.

He walked inside the Lookout to where Chi-Chi and the others were desperately trying to make food for everyone. They had been up for the past day making food for Vegeta. Usually it wasn't so bad, but since Majin Buu himself was entering with them. It was the biggest task Chi-Chi, Mrs. Brief, and Mr. Popo had ever done in terms of catering.

He walked into the kitchen and found a mountain of food waiting for him. Even he had to admit he was impressed by the amount of the food the three had prepared so quickly. He wouldn't admit, but he was secretly couldn't wait to dig in. It was a little known fact that these three could produce some of the best food out of the entire group. But, all of them working together? It was a once in a life time opportunity and not even the Prince of Saiyans himself was not going to waste it.

"Where on Earth is Kakarot's wife?" Vegeta demanded with Mr. Popo trailing behind him.

He was answered by his mother-in-law walking up to him. Like her husband, she looked like she hadn't aged a day since he first met her all those years ago. She was considered old by Human standards and yet she was still looked like she was just entering her forties. To this day she still scared him a bit. She was just so oblivious to the world around her that sometimes she made Kakarot look just as smart as Gohan or his own sons.

"Oh, there you are Vegeta. I was just looking for you. Can you please help us bring this food into the chamber? Trunks and Mirai have already started. And Mr. Buu just used his magic to levitate some of this behind them," She asked pushing a bunch of food into his hands and ushering him out the door.

Before Vegeta could even begin to think of a response he felt himself walking bewildered toward the chamber. In his head he was sputtering incoherent words and wasn't sure what was going on.

He walked grumbling to himself that he was pushed in this stupid situation. He would be having a word with his mother-in-law later that much was certain. For now he just walked towards the Hyperbolic Time Chamber and tried his best not to drop anything.

When he arrived he saw both of sons carrying as much as they could with Mr. Buu standing there with food floating around him and he started to eat some of the stuff in his hands.

"Hey stop eating all of the food Buu! We're going to need that, not all of us can survive without eating, you know!" Vegeta shouted at him

The massive pink creature took a moment to finish what he was eating till he made a face at the Prince of Saiyans. So what if he ate some of it now? He was hungry and there was more where this came from anyway.

"I see grandma got you to carry some of this as well, huh?" Trunks asked his father.

Vegeta only glared at his son before replying. "I'm not sure how she does it, but she seems to have this mystical power that makes her more oblivious than Kakarot at times. I went in there to tell both her and Chi-Chi I wouldn't be partaking in this mundane task, and then she's pushing me out the door with all of this food."

Trunks only shrugged his shoulders while Mirai was too focused on not dropping anything to engage in the conversation.

The door slowly opened and Uub came out. His outfit was the same and he looked more muscular and more confident in himself. He also had grown two inches. He looked around saw the amount of food in front of him.

"I see you're already carrying food into the chamber. Good, because we ran out two days ago. I'm starving. It's hard to be the only person that doesn't eat two feasts at one sitting," Uub said.

"Don't even think about it boy! This food is for us. I don't want any of you eating the food we're carrying in here. Actually I should rephrase that. I don't want Kakarot or any of his sons getting their grubby hands on any of this!" Vegeta thundered from behind the mountain of food he was carrying.

"Do you want me to help you?" Uub asked him.

"That will be appreciated. Thank you Uub, just go to the kitchen and ask what's needed to be carried in," Mirai said walking into the chamber.

"Where are Goku and the others?" Trunks asked.

"They're coming. I just sent out a message that time's up so they should be leaving the chamber soon," Uub told him.

"They had better hurry up, I don't want them wasting my precious time in the chamber, because they were taking too long," Vegeta responded back walking in behind Mr. Buu.

For the next five minutes the five of them including, Mr. Popo carried food into the chamber. Thankfully Mr. Buu was able to use his antenna to levitate most of it, thus decreasing the amount of trips it took for everyone to carry all of the food around.

When Mirai finished he noticed two yellow lights and a white one coming closer, signaling that Goku and the others were finally getting closer to the chamber. He stepped outside and left the door open.

Vegeta was practically snarling in rage. If his math was right Goku and the others wasted thirty hours in there. The fools! They could have needed those hours to train more! Why didn't they just use the Instant Transmission technique to get to the front end of the chamber?

Eventually they touched down. Gohan was in the front. Gone were the school outfit he wore to work and the one Kibito gave him years ago. He had donned his old gi that he made based off of Piccolo's. However, his boots were a mix. The shoes were of Namekian origin, but were blue and matched the color of his father's boots. He looked exactly the same as when he faced Super Buu all those years ago. Here was the confident man, ready to go, and help get his best friend back from the depths of Hell itself.

Goten was behind him. He was in the first stage of Super Saiyan and judging by how relaxed he looked he was a Full Power Super Saiyan. His whole body just radiated power and the cocky grin on his face told everyone that he was ready for action. His energy felt similar to Gohan when he first achieved this form. This was only the beginning of his power and maybe he would be able to achieve Super Saiyan 2 by the end of all this.

Finally Goku followed at the back. He ditched the outfit he wore when he went off with Uub for his familiar orange gi. To an outsider he looked exactly like his youngest son did. Same gi, same relaxed body, and even the same confident smirk. However, on a closer inspection his hair was a bit longer and spikier.

Goku had taken Super Saiyan 2 to its highest level. While he didn't have the visible jagged flame aura or the occasional electric spark around his body, everyone could tell he was more powerful than ever.

"Hey guys how are you doing?" Goku asked waving.

Vegeta studied Goku for a minute before he spoke.

"Ah, I see that you trained Super Saiyan 2 to its highest level. I too, have had the same thought cross my mind. So what are you a Full Power Super Saiyan 2 now? I swear these names for each transformation get tedious with how long they are."

Goku chuckled before responding "Yeah well, it was either this or somehow figure out how to master the life sucking energy of Super Saiyan 3. I don't think I'd be able to figure that out even if I could go in there for another day."

"Are you saying that you tried that? I'm surprised that didn't kill you. From what the others have told me, it drains the energy of your body at a very fast pace," Mirai said.

"Honestly I doubt there is a way to stop it. Perhaps slow the energy consumption down a bit, but not to what we're used to. Unless Vegeta knows of another Saiyan legend that can surpass the power Super Saiyan 3?" Goku asked the older Saiyan.

"Kakarot, if I knew for a fact that there were other transformations like say, Super Saiyan 4 where you turned into some bizarre Golden Great Ape from being a Super Saiyan, having a tail, looking up at the moon, and then controlled your primal side, or some weird one where five Saiyans had to hold our hands and think happy thoughts singing kumbaya around a sixth Saiyan. Don't you think I would have done so by now? I mean why waste my entire life on just the first Super Saiyan form when I could have known there were countless others? Need I remind you that we all thought the maximum Super Saiyan level of power was when you fought Cell all those years ago?" Vegeta asked him with a raise eyebrow.

Goku chuckled and rubbed the back of his head. "Huh, good point. But, do you think there's another level beyond Super Saiyan 3?" He asked.

Vegeta only shook his head. "Who could say? Maybe Gohan would have achieved it, if he didn't slack off before Buu and then just have his power be easily accessible by the Elder Kai without the need to transform. Speaking of which…can you transform into a Super Saiyan if you really wanted to?" He asked him.

Gohan looked up in thought for a moment. "No I don't think so. I mean, I tried once when asked by Elder Kai. It's a little weird how it's like gone."

"Well we'll have to discuss this later. If you'll excuse us, we have some training to do," Mirai said walking in.

Before Mirai went through the door, they all felt two distinctive familiar Ki signatures appear outside.

Goku turned his head toward it as if listening for a second till he ran off toward it with Vegeta behind him.

Mirai looked confused since he didn't know what was going on. Both of them didn't feel familiar to him at all.

"Who's here?" He asked his younger brother.

"The Supreme Kais…and by their energy they aren't doing well," Trunks said grimly before taking off after his father with Goten and Gohan behind him.

Mirai followed them and when he got there, He saw two people that looked like Elves from some works of fiction. Pointed ears and the younger one at least had long hair with fancy clothes; however, their skin color was purple and their Ki energy felt…different than anything else in the Universe.

They looked worse for the wear. Both of them looked a little sick if that was even possible. Kibito Kai was trying his best to stand up, but he could only struggle to say on his knees.

"Supreme Kai, Old Kai are you alright?" Gohan asked.

"Forget about me…tend to Old Kai," Kibito Kai mumbled.

"Someone go get Dende, they look like they need healing!" Goku said helping him up.

Trunks ran off to go find the Guardian and Goten tried to rouse Old Kai.

"We…we were attacked by…Piccolo and some others," Supreme Kai said slowly.

"What? What do you mean Piccolo attacked you? Why on Earth would he do this to you?" Gohan asked.

"Let's wait for Dende to heal them and try to get some straight answers," Goku said.

The young Supreme Kai nodded wearily and it looked like he was trying his best to stay awake.

Suddenly Dende came out followed by the Human gang. Yamcha and Krillin were studying him for a moment as if his symptoms looked familiar.

Dende put down his staff and immediately started tending to Old Kai. The minutes ticked by as his hands were moving up and down all over his body. He face betrayed the grimness on him. For a little while he looked uncertain.

Finally he stopped and shook his head. "I've done all I can, but he seems to be suffering from a drain of his energy and what looks like a small attack of his mind. Nothing serious, but I can tell that he reluctantly gave away information."

He then turned to Kibito Kai and did the same. As first his face contorted in pain, but then slowly relaxed as his body healed. Finally Dende finished.

"There that should do it for now. You need to rest to recover your full strength. I'm guessing you were attacked by the same thing as Old Kai?" Dende asked him.

Kibito Kai nodded and took a deep breath before he started his tale. "Around a day maybe two days…I can't really tell. We were attacked by the newly crowned Demon King. It was strange for I first thought it was Piccolo, but he was much taller and his energy level was just pure evil…the only people I know that were that close was Majin Buu in his original form and Dabura."

"So King Piccolo attacked you? What did he want?" Goku asked.

"He said he wanted Old Kai to unlock his full potential along with Cell, the Colds, Bojack, two Androids, and finally the two wizards Bibidi and his son Babidi. I was caught by surprise. Cell and Bojack were able to pin me down while the wizards used their magic to stop us from fleeing using Instantaneous Movement. He used some of them to torture me for a little bit and then Old Kai acquiesced if they promised to leave me alone."

"Wait Bojack is running around as well? How come we didn't see him when they attacked?" Gohan asked.

Kibito Kai only shook his head. "I can't tell you Gohan. I have no idea what happened after we were put into unconsciousness. From my memory Bojack was never one to follow orders. I'm surprised he even did what this King Piccolo said the moment they banded together. He seemed to be the leader of the group."

"Well that explains why they were all so strong. Even if King Piccolo did train ever since I defeated him, he shouldn't have been stronger than Cell. Frieza maybe, but both Cell and Bojack? This is going to be even more difficult that I thought," Goku said.

"Yes, but even before Old Kai performed the technique…I could sense that King Piccolo was much stronger than either Cell or Bojack. I'm not sure how though…" Kibito Kai responded trailing off while crunching his forehead in thought.

"I can answer that my boy…" A groggy voice said below them.

They turned and saw Old Kai slowly getting up. He blinked a couple of times and dusted himself off.

"Ugh…haven't felt this bad since that strange sorcerer locked me in the Z-sword…I still have nightmares about him," Old Kai muttered to himself.

"Ancestor are you alright?" Kibito Kai asked full of concern.

"I'll be fine my boy, just give me minute. I never thought I'd have my physical energy and spiritual energy drained by some mechanical mortal. These are strange times to be sure," He said.

"You said something about knowing how this King Piccolo got so powerful?" Vegeta asked him.

"Yes, yes…the situation is worse than I could have imagined. Tell me child, do you know of Namekian fusion?" Old Kai asked Dende.

Dende nodded before speaking "Yes sir. Both parties have to be willing to fuse. One Namek is the host body, while the partner is fused into the host. While the host is the dominant body after fusing, he gains the other's strength, energy memories, wisdom, and parts of their personality. The partner is usually dormant or active in the host's body depending on the situation. Piccolo always called it more of an assimilation than fusion after he saw the Fusion Dance and heard of the Potara fusion."

"You are correct. This Demon…this King Piccolo has fused his body with others. Judging by the state of his soul it was with many others," Old Kai said.

Dende looked very alarmed by this. "He forced fused with other Nameks? How is that possible? There's a legend that if someone force fuses with another they go insane and suffer from a serious case of multiple personality disorder and can't control their power. I guess he never heard of the Legend of Slug…" The young Namek said with a shudder.

"He didn't fuse with any Nameks. In fact King Piccolo is probably one of the only evil Nameks to ever exist. Nameks are a peace loving race. I'm rather surprised that there was another one. He wasn't around when I was watching over the Universe," Old Kai remarked.

He took another deep breath and continued on. "At any rate his fusion was almost the same to the Namekian form. Except; he did it with other Demons and this creates a big problem," Old Kai said.

"What's the point of this? Who cares if he fused with other Demons? It's not like we've never faced a fused being before anyway," Vegeta said thinking of Cell and Buu.

"This is far worse than Cell or Buu Vegeta. You see Demons in their nature are in a constant state of fighting. They'll fight over the silliest things that make the Saiyans in their primitive days look like well-behaved children. They constantly fight over each other for power and control. All they care about is advancing their own state of power to be dominant over everyone else and cause harm onto others for their own enjoyment. While I heard stories of Demon fusing in my youth from my seniors they mostly ended with the fused Demon being driven insane and dying under their own power. Their mind and soul would constantly fight itself for dominance of the body until it killed them," Old Kai told the Prince.

"You see King Piccolo must have approached Demons that were probably as strong as him, but were in a catatonic like state where they could barely understand what was going on around him. Most of them were probably tortured Demons that just lost touch with reality and didn't care what happened to them. I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't even understand what was going on when he approached them. He probably just promised an end to their suffering and he tricked these Demons into fusing with them instead of killing them. I'm not sure how many souls he fused with, but it must have been a lot," Old Kai said continuing his long story.

"Wait a minute…if he has that many souls added to his…is it possible that you not only unlocked his full potential…but theirs as well?" Kibito Kai asked with trepidation.

Everyone's breath hitched at that statement. If Kibito Kai was correct…then it meant that King Piccolo could have the power of multiple Demons at his disposal. Who knows how many he fused with? He could have fused with hundreds of them, thus increasing King Piccolo's strength to unfathomable levels.

Old Kai bowed his head affirming Kibito Kai's question. "I'm afraid you're right son, I've not only unlocked 'half' of Piccolo's full potential in a manner of speaking, but many others as well. This also presents a huge problem for King Piccolo's mind."

"How could this possibly be even worse?" Mirai asked him.

"The mind and souls of the Demons he absorbed may 'wake up'. They'll slowly realize that they're in a position of power and try to take over King Piccolo's body with his massive power increase. It probably didn't affect him at first, since he had time to get used to the other souls. But, a power increase of this magnitude at this fast of a rate? I wouldn't be surprised if it was happening tomorrow. He may suddenly find himself enraged at something going wrong and only attribute it to his natural responses," Old Kai said.

"Yeah right, as if this Demon Namek is anything, but natural…" Vegeta grumbled to himself.

Everyone was in deep thought and mulled this new information over. This was more troubling than they first thought. Perhaps it would be prudent to wait and plan this over more. Although time did seem to be against them.

"What are you idiots standing around for?" Vegeta asked his sons suddenly.

"Buu come with us. We've got to get into the chamber now! We don't have any spare time. Let's hope this invasion of the planet doesn't happen while we're in the chamber. I'd rather not have to waste my energy shouting more than I have to," Vegeta said walking briskly to the Hyperbolic Time Chamber.

*Jason9000: That'll about do it. Well hope you all enjoyed it. By either the next chapter or the one after, we'll finally be caught up timeline wise. And did I just bash the absurdity of attaining Super Saiyan God and the only debatable good thing of GT known as Super Saiyan 4? Yes, yes I did. Anyway hope reviews are welcomed.*
