~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~AT THE BATTLEFIELD~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A few minutes had passed since they arrived at the battlefield Naruto, Kiba, the brave saints and the Sitri household were in a group. Naruto looks at the Brave Saints along with Dulio Gesualdo, Sister Griselda, and Irina who acted as the leaders, with a total of around eleven people on there dude. Of the "Brave Saints" which were under the Four Great Seraphs, three groups of them had gathered there. The remaining "Brave Saints" were responsible for guarding Heaven. With the battle looming ahead, and about to start at any time, Joker Dulio sat next to Naruto who was cleaning Avalon.
"Ah, I didn't expect that I'd be able to be together with Kiba on the frontlines in order to protect you till you get too the leader." He said to Naruto with a smile on his face yet he notices Naruto had a serious look on his face. Seeing the look, Dulio took out an unknown object from his chest. —It was an origami paper crane.
"Listen, I know you have a lot of things going on but you have to remember to enjoy life since it won't be forever. Take this as life, he can soon enough turn to nothing but it can still be beautiful." Hearing that, Naruto continues looking down.
"I keep losing people regardless of what I do, now I have to start fighting the ones I called comrade now." As if in response to what he just said, the figures of a group of warriors appeared before him. In the midst of the warriors who were lined up in front of him, there were more warriors wearing a priest's outfit, but it was also possible to see the figures of female warriors who were dressed like Xenovia and Irina. In the middle of the warriors was — the man who had the replica of Excalibur and wore modern vestments from a few days ago, Ewald Cristaldi. He held the replica of Excalibur in his hand as it released a holy aura. Naruto just stood up in front of the man with a serious look on his face. The man just look at the brave saints and Irina who had a complicated expression on her face.
"... This reunion, should it be happy, or should it be sad. Naruto, Dulio, and also the reincarnated angels, if you still recognise me as a mentor, then can you accept the punishment of my sword without any further ado?" Hearing that, Naruto just points his sword directly at the mans face.
"Bring it on Sensei, I will show you what would have been if I was just a normal human!" Was all Naruto said to the man which the two just made eye contact though the Cristaldi was confused due to feeling something about Naruto had changed since last time but in the end Ewald Cristaldi looked up at the sky as he spoke out loud.
"That attitude... You haven't changed a bit." Cristaldi said out loud which Naruto just stares at him as he drowns his blade and presses it against Naruto's.
"Continuing to talk is pointless, it...really is like that. If you're also warriors, then use your weapons to make me yield! Warriors, this is a battle that Heaven will allow. Today, we will let all of our beliefs out here!" Cristaldi shouted gaining a loud roar from the warriors which was enough to make the air tremble.
"Have no regrets in death! For the wages of sin is death!" As he shouted that, Cristaldi raised his sword up high then swung it down with force and with that the signal for the start of the battle, the warriors roared loudly as they charged towards Naruto's group, it didn't take long for the interior of the church instantly became a battlefield. Naruto and Cristaldi just stared at one another as the battle went onwards and he noticed Naruto closing his eyes for awhile until they were opened by the man who was watching from the finally grabbing the sword which was stabbed into the ground.
"Withdraw!" His ordered with his deep voice instantly brought silence back to the battlefield. The warriors noticed their sensei's actions, and neatly gave them room to give them space. He held the Excalibur replica but his eyes widen a little at find Kiba standing on his right.
"You an I both know that to make things more even I get at least one back up." Hearing that, he just nods in agreement since Naruto won't be using any of his god like powers. Cristaldi just watched as Naruto made Arceus appear and hands it over to Kiba who takes it with both hands.
Seeing this, Cristaldi was slowly approaching the two and suddenly split into numerous avatars.
"Kiba!" Hearing that, he just nods and lifts the sword Upjohn before he swung down, unleashing a large red wave straight for the avatars and consumed them completely and destroying them, but not all of them since one of the avatars jumped out of the way and came rushing towards the two but the two swung full strength and slashed through it but the avatar's shape collapsed, turning into a string. Naruto's eyes widen as he followed it with his eyes along with Kiba. The string in Cristaldi's hand completely rebuilt itself, returning to the shape of a sword, and then he darted towards the two who jumped away from the other in order to create distance but even so he decided to charge for Kiba who used his sword to block Cristaldi's attack but the Exorcist just vanishes, being only an illusion and the real one standing behind Kiba who turns just as he received a blow from Destruction that forced him to half-knelt down on the spot with a vast crater formed on the surface of the ground but even so he was far from done and uses the blade to block the Excalibur replica, and made a fearless expression towards the man. But the side of her mouth had blood trickling down it.
"You shouldn't be to focused on me." Just after saying that he ducks from the swung of Avalon and kicks Naruto directly in the stomach to send him skidding backwards while his left palm slams into Kiba's chest also sending him backwards. Using that to give him enough time,
Cristaldi took out several crosses from the clothing around his chest, and threw them up into the air. The moment after Cristaldi recited a chant, the crosses in the air dispersed, and planted themselves into the ground to surround both Naruto and Kiba who soon enough had barrier formed by the crosses which surrounded.
"It uses Blessing's power to enhance the barrier of the crosses. The Sitri household's Devils over there will be unable to get closer for around ten minutes." Hearing that, Naruto ends up just walking through it causing Cristaldi's eyes to narrow at seeing that, after all he is now God whine Kiba just lifts the sword high before swigging it down causing a red explosion that shattered the shield, having a wounded Kiba exiting out of the smoke slowly. Seeing the got out, Cristaldi jumped backwards and released several waves of holy energy towards the two at the same time but Naruto uses Avalon to block them all with extreme ease and soon both him and Kiba swung there blades at Cristaldi, resulting in a white a red wave being sent straight for the man while his waves that connected with there's just evaporated like fog but from them came multiple real ones that pushed Kiba's wane into Naruto's in order to stop them both when they connected. Cristaldi immediately used assault from Rapidly and sped towards the two in an instant. Seeing his sleep, the two just evaded and allowed several waves to go past them but the waves of holy energy behind them changed direction, and came towards Kiba.
"Although I didn't have this back in my day, I occasionally do use the abilities of Ruler." Just after saying that they were countered by Naruto who swung Avalon into them in order to counter them.
Seeing this, Cristaldi took out a small vial of holy water, and poured it over the blade of the replica.
"Even if this is a replica, as long as I'm wielding Excalibur, this kind of situation is a piece of cake." When he finished speaking, Cristaldi suddenly disappeared from there sight without the slightest hint of moving. The two attempted to track his presence, but instead they got server Akame of Cristaldi's avatars appearing from there sides which the two charges for the avatar's and began to clash as well as exchang blows with them at high speed, in the end, the avatars vanished with Cristaldi appearing from them.
"Avatars which are tangible?! Were they really made using the ability of Excalibur Nightmare?!" Kiba yelled out in surprise which he got his answer.
"It's a combination of Rapidly and Nightmare. High speed and illusions are used, which results in avatars that are physically tangible." Hearing that, Naruto's eyes just narrow at his words since they were behind them; the two could only turn to find a third Cristaldi had moved behind them. Seeing this, Kiba stand Arceus in the ground and used Blade Blacksmith, in order to create an army of Dragon Knights which arose from the ground. Using the armoured knights as shields, the two jumped back but the man just successively cut down the Dragon Knights almost instantly, and drew closer to the two.
"Metaphorically speaking, even someone known as a strong Devil like you Kiba, can't quite defend against the effects of holy water." Cristaldi said as he aims fly Kiba again and got right in front of him which he threw a vial of holy water that was destroyed by Cristaldi with a single horizontal slash resulting in the Holy water spilling out of the shattered vial and onto Kiba's entire body followed by Cristaldi chantinh a prayer after confirming that it was on him. In the next instant, there was an indescribable pain, agony that swept across his entire body. The sanctified power of the holy water was ferociously burning parts of Kiba who falls to one knee.
"The effects were elevated to this level using the ability of Blessing. Would you like to listen to me narrate the Bible with the power of Blessing?" Just after saying that he jumps back in order to dodge Naruto's attack and just stares at his old student.
"Sensei!" Hearing that, the man just smiles.
"Is that all you can do Naruto, without your power you can't be much of a threat as an Exorcist." Hearing that, Naruto just breathed outwards.
"Kiba, just stay back." After saying that, Avalon disappears and he walks over to Arceus which he picks it up and turns to the now confused Cristaldi who met Naruto's eyes but his eyes widen all the way after seeing his eyes change since his eyes now had yellow irises with red pigmentation around his eyes that extends to his ears, as well as an additional round marking on his forehead with a dot in its centre.
"You see, with this I was able to fully master a new sword style." Hearing that, Cristaldi just stares at Naruto with narrowed eyes.
"I thought you weren't using none of your powers?" Hearing that, Naruto just shakes his head before speaking to him clearly.
"Truth be told, I haven't really practices using this and only needed it to speed past my training as well as... Even if I never had my powers I could still have mastered Senjutsu since in my blood is a Kitsune." After saying that he points his sword right at Cristaldi.
"Now behold, the Nura Style." Just after saying that, that a darkness began to be unleashed from his blade.
"KASANE!" Naruto shouted as the entire change form along with his appearance which was revealed after the darkness recedes into Naruto to show himself holding a blade Katana in his right hand while sticking out from his back was many weapons such as Kusari-fundo, Tanegashima, Katana, as well as types of Yari, Sodegarami, and Rentsuru. Seeing this, Cristaldi just started at Naruto with wide eyes at what he was seeing.
"You see, I created this technique when I was a kid. A way to use holy and demonic to create weapons... By using Senjutsu I was able to create it so... SCATTER!" Naruto shouted while jumping high into the air with all the weapons during out of his back and scattering all around them to form a large circle. Cristaldi swung his sword, aiming for the outside but it was deflected off an invisible barrier.
"Youjutsu..." After saying that he looks at Naruto who directs his sword at him with a serious expression on his face.
"KASANE!" Naruto yelled as the katana turns into a large Katana that had was appears to be a fox like hand as the guard and it was gripping the blade forming cracks on it. Naruto lifted the blade up high just as Cristaldi charger straight for him but shockingly he swung the blade down at a far greater speed, forcing Cristaldi to stop and using his blade to block it as well as used Ruler to make it miss but it had no affect resulting in Cristaldi falling on both knees at the insane amount of power put into the blade.
"MY POWER IS TO GREAT THAT NOT EVEN A REPLICA OF EXCALIBUR CAN AFFECT IT!" Naruto yelled as he pulls the blade back which it turns back into its original form while the man just stood up to find Naruto turning into darkness itself.
"Shin Meikyō Shisui." With those words the man's eyes widen at seeing everything has turned into black and white with Naruto no longer being felt but only a voice being heard.
(Shin Meikyō Shisui is a technique that focuses the Senjutsu into the nerves of the opponent causing them to be frightened so much that they can no longer sense my presence.)
With those words a deep slash appeases on the man's chest along with his achilles tendon being slashed resulting in him falling in his knees while Naruto appears behind him.
"That, is the Nura style... One that uses Demonic, Holy, and Senjutsu..." As he said that the sword disappears and he turns to the man who was staring at Naruto with wide eyes but suddenly bubbles which were glowing with the colors of the rainbow came towards them and spread limitlessly outwards to surround the entire area. In such a fantasy-like scene, everyone in the area stopped what they were doing, and searched for the source of the bubbles which glowed with the colors of the rainbow. Naruto turns to see that Dulio was the one to have been doing it.
"This is a technique utilising Zenith Tempest "Speranza Bolla di Sapone"
In Italian, Speranza Bolla di Sapone had the meaning of "Bubbles of Hope". Bubbles had inadvertently fallen onto my hand, and burst in a dreamlike manner. Then, my mind recalled memories which made me feel nostalgic. That is singing hymns together with my comrades in that facility. "Say, if we leave this facility, what does everyone want to do?" After he asked that, many began yelling out there dreams.
"I want to be an artist. I want to draw a picture of Jesus that people will praise."
"I want to become a Sister. But, opening a florist would also be nice."
"I'm want to be a race driver. I'll be driving the coolest F1 at top speed!"
"...I, as long as I can live happily with everyone, then...I'll be very happy."
Everyone smiled at the shy girl who said that.
"Could this affect Trihexa?" Naruto thought while looking at all the bubbles in the sky which one hit him causing memories of his family as well as a baby Menma appearing through his mind which tears began to fall from his eyes.
"Such... A magnificent sacred gear." Naruto said with a smile on his face. When he looked at Kiba, he was on his knees crying like everyone on the battlefield whi was also in tears. With their weapons dropped on the ground, they were sobbing and crying.
"... These bubbles, are able to remind the people who touch them about their most precious memories, and their most important people. That's all there is to this technique. But, this is the technique that I desired the most, so I used my Sacred Gear to create it." Dulio said with a smile on his face.
Cristaldi also has tears streaming down his face while he was receiving treatment from the female warriors, fatal injuries were avoided. The warriors had already lost all their will to fight, most people were sitting on the floor in a depressed state. Those who suffered severe injuries in fighting against them, which was followed by their master Cristaldi being defeated, had now lost the battle. While lying on the ground, Cristaldi asked his student Dulio who stood next to Naruto.
"... If, you used those bubbles at the beginning, you would've won already. No, as long as you used your Balance Breaker, you should've been able to easily defeat us all at once." Hearing that, the most gentle child in the church just shakes his head.
"... I didn't want to use my power to do that as the warriors wouldn't have been satisfied, I simply decided to use that after a certain of period of time passed; rather than cutting the battle short, exhausting all your efforts would be better. Moreover, if I really had to release my Balance Breaker, the opponent must really have been beyond redemption, wicked people with no remorse." Dulio said with a gentle smile on his face. The Sensei of the warriors smiled when he heard the reply of his own student.
"... Truly, you're too gentle... Known as warriors, ultimately we can only use our swords to communicate. It's your victory, God. Well, do as you wish. But, let the others go. After all, I'm the one that brought them here. Only I am guilty." Hearing that, Naruto just shrugs and turns his back to him.
"Nope, all I wanted was to knock some sense in you and we have so we're done here." Hearing that, the man's eyes just widen at seeing Naruto just walking away not punishing him at all for what he did. Even his warrior's were completely shocked at Naruto's words and just watched as he turns to them with a smile on his face.
"After all, what kinda God would I be if I just punish? I rather be a God that's kind then one that punishes those who lost there way." With those words he continues walking away.
"There's now more problems here now so let's go help Issei, Dulio, stay here with Sister." With those words he was followed by the others.
"By the way, next time, will you take a look at the facility here that the children live in? There are children who have also had the same experiences as you living there. They are also my little brothers and sisters like you. Why don't we share a cake together?" Hearing that, the three look back at them which Naruto just shows a smile while reverting back to normal.
"Sure!" Naruto said with happiness.
"Naruto..." Hearing that, his gaze shifts to Cristaldi who called out his, which he only said one thing.
"His Eminence Strada, is the true monster..." Hearing that, Naruto just smiles and replies.
"I know, that's why I never revealed to you the full night of the Nura style." Just after saying that the three quickly rushed towards the direction of the other side.
~~~~~~~PART 11 A LOOK INTO THE FUTURE, AT THE AMUSEMENT PARK; OUTSIDE MENMA'S OFFICE~~~~~~~
"Why the fuck do I have to wait out here... WHY DO I HAVE TO WEAR THIS?!" Leo demands Caesar who was texting on his phone next to Leo since Menma needed to talk to Caesar, as well as he was wearing his costume.
"How should I know, during work hours we must wear our outfits." Hearing Caesar say that, Leo just sighs but the door opens gaining his attention to see Menma sitting down at his desk with Fino sitting in front of him but looking back at Leo to find him wearing an odd outfit.
"Leo, could you come in here and shut the door please." Hearing that, he did as was told and shut the door behind him and approaches the two until he stood next to Fino.
"What do you want?" Hearing that, Menma just smiles.
"I've talked to the girl you saved and it turns out she is the last living daughter of Andromalius, one of the seventy-two pillars as you read in the book. Starting today she will be your assistant..." Hearing that, his eyes just shot open in surprise then they narrow in annoyance.
"You can't possibly be serious..." Hearing that, Menma just smiles.
"Actually I am, you can teach her the ropes while your actual work day will be tomorrow. Show her around, and you're allowed to change back to your regular clothes." Hearing that, Leo just sighs thankfully and nods.
"Thanks..." After saying that he glances at the girl who pulls her hood down which his eyes just widen a little at finding her to be beautiful which she just smiles.
"Follow me as well as pay attention, I will only show you and tell you only once where everything is." After saying that he starts walking towards the door followed by the last heir of the seventy-two pillar, after they leave Caesar enters with the door shutting behind him.
"what is it?" He asked Menma who now has a serious expression on his face.
"Watch Miss Andromalius... Something's not right. If anything-" He was cut off by Caesar turning his back to Menma.
"I know, it's the same thing just like with Leo when you told me that if he showed any signs of turning evil I must execute him immediately." With those words he left without another word while Menma just leans back into his chair.
"Dad... Where are you... Are you dead...or are you hiding?" Menma thought to himself on wonder at what happened to Naruto.
