Chapter 142
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~AFTER THE FUNERAL~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Pretty depressing." Hearing that, he looks at Shiva also known as Sasuke wearing a black clothing. After Vasco was buried most left while others such as Naruto, Asia, Kiba, Irina, and Xenovia stayed behind.
"Why are you still here?" Hearing that, the God of destruction just smiles while snapping his fingers which the storm clouds began to move away showing a bright sun now shining down on them.
"I came here because a certain middle aged man asked me too." After he said that he walks towards Asia while taking out from his pocket was a stack of letters.
"You see, when you were once a part of the Church you healed many people and these letters are from those people." Hearing that, her eyes just widen all the way as she was given the letters.
"I was told aftwr you left the Church, these letters still continued to come to the Church. You see the one who wanted to give you it tried to find you just before you were excommunicated but he couldn't..." After saying that he turns his back to them while tears well up in Asia's eyes.
"Oh yeah, I have other things to tell you like for one, Trihexa was the one who caused the rebellion." Hearing that, Naruto's eyes widen but he just looks down.
"Even in the Church, he corrupt them." Hearing that, the God just nods.
"He has the Seven Deadly Sins, the one who created it and it affects everyone. No one is immune to it... Not even you and with those sins he can corrupt you so be prepared since he needs his body in order too access his true power." After saying that, Naruto just looks at him confused.
"What kind of power does he actually possess?" Hearing that, he looks away.
"The power of sins aren't actually the same as the sins himself. I only know actually one sin of his... The sin of Wrath; the more anger my he is powerful his ability becomes and that complete reflection of all physical attacks no matter how powerful they can be but he does gave one one weakness." Hearing that the others pay attention to his words.
"It takes him about ten seconds to switch to another of his seven sins but it still won't be easy. In order for him to have increased his power he needed to split his personality into seven parts so that when he switches to one of his sins, that personality will take over sins would be increased gradually." Hearing that, Naruto just swallows at hearing that.
"You have yet to turkey Tao into your abilities and what you can do with it. But belfry I go I have to two more things to do, so here..." After saying that he took something out of his pocket and flicks it over to Naruto like a coin which he catches it; it was a small vial.
"... It's a fragment of the Holy Grail. How did you-" he was cut off by Shiva.
"Don't ask, I just know a guy. But anyways, Isaiah right?" Hearing that, Kiba was extremely shocked at his words.
"Why would you know that?" Hearing that, the God just smiles.
"Not telling, but anyways you know a girl by the name "Tosca"?" Hearing that, Kiba was taken aback, his eyes widened but in the end he just nods. Shiva raises his left hand and with a snap of his fingers a girl appeared about Kiba's age. She has a slim and attractive figure. She has light gray hair that is kept in a small braid on the left of her face. The braid is kept together by a cross-shaped pin. She has cross-shaped earrings. Her eyes are narrow and dark gold. She wears typical nun-clothes, black and white, though she has a split in her dress, revealing a large part of her leg with black and white stockings. As soon as she saw Kiba, she frantically covered her mouth, and tried to hold back the tears which were gushing out from her eyes.
"...Isaiah?" Hearing that question, Kiba was in shock as tears streamed down his cheeks.
"I-Is, h-how would...! You're Tosca...?" Hearing that, Shiva just smiles at seeing this.
"Only this one girl with a strong barrier type Sacred Gear survived. It was discovered after the experiment, and Valper was unable to do anything. Although the user was in a coma, it wasn't possible to be released, and researchers had no choice but to place her into a deep hidden chamber within the facility. And she herself, when Valper was expelled, was found during a search of the facility, but they also were unable to release the barrier until I came along." After saying that, the girl walked to Kiba's side, and then extended her hand out to caress his cheek.
"Isaiah, you've already grown up..." The girl said which
Kiba held her hand which was stroking his cheek, and shook his head tearfully.
"... It's okay, it's okay... This is fine." Kiba said with happiness, having reunited after such a long time, they hugged each other closely.
"It's too good. Isaiah is alive and well." She told Kiba who just hugs her closely.
"She'll be staying with guys for now on. If she's kept with the Church, there might be people who would want to take advantage of her and I really don't want to waste my time killing humans." After saying that, Kiba began speaking while he was hugging the girl.
"S-Shiva, tha-" he was cut off by Shiva turning away from them.
"Don't thank me, because I'm not gonna allow someone like Trihexa and Bael to steal my title..." As he said it, the look on his face showed anger which Naruto's eyes just narrowed at his tone.
[Friend or Foe in the future?]
Hearing Tiamat's words, his eyes just narrowed not liking the day they will have to deal with the God of Destruction ranking Number 1.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~DAYS LATER AT THE PARTY~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Today was the day they celebrate Xenovia becoming the Student Council President after what happened the elections today. Azazel-sensei gathered everyone of the Occult Research Club in the lab. Deep inside the lab, after passing through several stringently arranged doors, they arrived before a rather isolated intensive care room. Through the glass, they could see Valerie Tepes who was connected to numerous machines. Because the Holy Grail which was taken by Qlippoth had not been returned to her, she was in a state where she couldn't wake up. The three people who entered the intensive care room were Gasper, Naruto, and Azazel while the others stood outside. Gasper was the one who went to Valerie's side. It turns out Gasper came here every two days, telling her what had happened every day while she was still asleep. After Azazel placed his briefcase onto the table and opened it, he took something out of it. It was the fragment of the Holy Grail. As this was happening, the others watches through the window with Akeno holding her sleeping baby boy. Azazel hands Naruto fragment which he puts both his hands together with the fragment between his palms and closed his eyes. When he opened then and moved his hands apart it shows a fully restored fragment floating in the air and glowing.
"Never tried this before..." Hearing that, Gasper just looks at Naruto.
"Can Valerie really wake up with that?" Hearing that, Naruto just spoke.
"I do not know if it will work or not... After saying that he takes the glowing grail and places it inside her chest, gaining only silence as they watched the unmoving girl until they heard a noise was emitted from Valerie's mouth
"...Uh." Heavens that, Gasper's eyes widen.
After continuing to observe for a while, albeit slowly, her eyes were gradually opening. The lights made Valerie who was looking up at the ceiling feel uncomfortable for a moment.
"...Uh...Ahh...huh...?" Hearing that, Gasper's face approached hers. His face had tears falling from his eyes which he tried to smile.
"... Valerie. Do you know, it's me?" Hearing that, she looks at Gasper who was holding her hand with a smile on her face.
"... Ara, if it isn't Gasper." As she spoke, her tone was filled with happiness.
"Valerie...Valerie...!"
Gasper said with happiness, no longer able to control his emotions so kept on shouting Valerie's name as he cried on her chest. Valerie gently patted Gasper who was crying on her chest.
"Ufufu, it really is Gasper! What is it? Such a crybaby-is that a tail?" As she said it, she spotted his monkey tail which confused her greatly. Hearing that he just smiles.
"A lot has happened..." Gasper said with happiness.
"From my calculations she will need to stay inside for a week, by tomorrow she can stand up." Naruto told Gasper as he places a hand on his shoulder while still smiling. Suddenly, a magic circle on the floor appeared and from it came Sona, seeing her the others entered the room but Naruto could see the worried look on her face.
"Sona?" Naruto said with confusion at seeing her.
"What is it, Sona? For you to come here so urgently..." After she said that, they heard her speak.
"It's about Raiser Phoenix's game..." Hearing that, Naruto turns to her confused.
"Phoenix family's third son Raiser, eldest daughter Ravel and Champion have disappeared together including my sister has also gone missing." Hearing that, Naruto's eyes just widen all the way.
~~~~~~~PART 12 A LOOK INTO THE FUTURE, AT THE AMUSEMENT PARK~~~~~~~
"What happened to you?" Came the words of Chisato who was looking right at Leo from her desk to see he had bruises on his face along with a slap mark ion his face including bandages that were soaking up his blood.
Leo just looks away which she stood up and approached Leo holding a bag of ice which she places it on his head.
"Thank you." Hearing that, she just smiles while sitting down next to him.
"Any reason why you have bullet like wounds?" Hearing that, he just holds the ice while looking down.
"Isuzu..." Hearing him say her name, she just blinks in surprise but then smiles.
"It was a simple misunderstanding and she had to blow it out of proportion-" he was cut off by the smiling Chisato who spoke.
"I saw a pretty sad Isuzu so what actually did you say to her?" Hearing that, he just looks at the floor.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~FLASHBACK THAT MORNING~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"GOD DAMMIT MY FACE!" Leo yelled, holding his face in pain after being shot in his face by the angry Isuzu but her eyes widen after Fino stood in front of her with the blanket wrapping around her.
"WHY DID YOU SHOOT LEO IN THE FACE, WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?!" Fino yelled at her which Isuzu just aims her gun at her.
"WHO THE HELL ARE YOU, AND WHY DID YOU-" Isuzu was cut off by Leo standing up and having blood dripping from his forehead which her eyes just widen at hurting Leo. Leo just glares at her with anger.
"I'll say this once and only once, get the hell out of my sight." Hearing that, her eyes just widen.
"You are an impulsive child who cannot think first. Fino wasn't told how a baby was created and presumed just by finding herself in my bed she thought she was pregnant but you... You go guns ablazing... You're nothing but a distraction to me here." Hearing that, she just stares at him with disbelief.
"Did you...just call me nothing more then a distraction?" As she said it, she began feeling a painful feeling in her chest.
"Yes I did, you are nothing but a distraction. I rather not deal of distractions so leave, I'm busy with teaching Fino how she will do her job and actually his a child is supposed to-" he was cut off by Isuzu grabbing his shirt with a look of desperation and confusion.
"Then... What am I supposed to do for you?! You saved my life, I can't just forget something like that!" Hearing that, Leo's eyes just narrow.
"So that it huh, you still think you have a debt to pay." After saying that he grabs her arm.
"Just forget it, I don't need anything from you." After saying that, she looks down with tears forming in her eyesight get she ends up turning away from Leo and walks towards the door.
"Leo..." Hearing that, he turns to surprisingly receive a slap to the face
"You're an idiot!" She shouted at Leo who just blinks in confusion by her words.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~FLASHBACK END~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"So that's what happened, huh..." Hearing that, Leo just nods while hearing the nurse sigh before speaking once again.
"You are an idiot." Hearing that he looks up to see her pushing up her glasses before speaking.
"It's pretty obvious that the debt she spoke of wasn't the reason why she was protective of you." Hearing that, his eyes were wide but he just looks away with his eyes narrowing a little.
"I doubt that..." Hearing that, a sad smile appears on her face.
"When it comes to woman, you're not like your father." Hearing that, he just looks at her with confusion.
"Your dad was quite the ladies man-" she was cut off by Leo speaking once again.
"I know... Tell me, what exactly am I supposed to be or do?" Hearing that, she just looks out the window.
"That's for you to decide." Hearing that, he just looks out the window.
"I don't know..." Hearing that, she once again smiles.
"Well you could start by apologizing to Isuzu." Hearing that, he just stood up.
"Why would I?" Hearing that, she could only give him a gentle smile.
"Because, you are kind no matter how dark you act." Hearing that, he just looks away from her.
"Whatever..." After saying that he stood up and walks towards the door without another word but when he opened it he found a surprised Isuzu standing there. Seeing her he walks past her which she follows after him.
"Menma said you will be starting today with Fino... He wanted me to tell you that." Hearing that, he just nods in understanding.
"I'm a daughter of Lucifer and I have to do everything in my power to not shame them so that why I moved here... So that I wouldn't least be of some use..." Hearing that, Leo stops walking.
"It's your life, you decide what you will do with it; forget about you family's reputation and do what makes you happy." After saying that, he turns around to find Isuzu staring at him with wide eyes.
"I see..." As she continued speaking, the girl looks away.
"I'd never thought of that. Either way, you lost all respect for me and now consider me nothing more then a nuisance. When I saw Fino in your bed I didn't know what to do." Hearing that, he just sighs whine looking at her.
"Stop blaming yourself, and I'm sorry for what I said." With those words he starts walking again while Isuzu just stares at his back.
"Don't expect me to apologize to you every time we get in a fight, I don't like to apologize." With those words, he just continued walking which she follows after him.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~LATER THAT DAY~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"So, you're actually change the jungle into a circus in just a single day? I rather not do that." Leo said to Menma who just nods with his arms behind his back.
"Yeah, having parents and kids walking into a forest isn't a smart idea so I've decided to make it into a circus." Hearing that, Leo who just sighs as there walking through the park with happy families all around them but Leo's attention was drawn to Caesar running past them holding an unconscious Mio bridal style.
"I should see what's going on." With that said he runs after Caesar.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~NURSE'S OFFICE~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"So that's what happened, huh." Leo said, looking down at the sleeping Mio who lays in the bed. Both him and Caesar were in the room, talking to the other.
"Yeah... You know I'm already making enemies with people without doing anything." Hearing Caesar sat that, Leo just raises an eyebrow.
"Well you're being considered a playboy after all." Hearing that he just sweat drops.
"Well aren't you just a bucket of sunshine; now that I recall you were so emotional back than that you basically beat up anyone that looked at you the wrong way." Hearing that, Leo just looks away.
"I changed so that wouldn't happen again, I won't be ruled by my emotions ever again." Hearing that, Caesar just smiles while they sat with Mio resting on the bed between them; the two look down to find Mio waking up.
"Mio, are you all right?" Caesar asked her worriedly which she blushes as a neck tattoo appears on her neck showing a light purple band with a heart in the center.
"So you weren't kidding... Well shit." Leo said with his arms still crossed which Leo just looks at Mio while Caesar began speaking to her.
"What happened? The curse doesn't activate unless you think something bad about be, right?" Hearing that, she just rolls over and now facing Leo.
"I-I didn't-" she was cut off by Leo speaking.
"She's lying." Hearing that, her eyes just widen all the way as she hides herself under her blanket.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~HOURS LATER AT NIGHT~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"So she'll be staying in the nurse's office tonight huh..." Hearing that, Caesar just nods while the two were getting a soda from inside one of the vending machines located outside the nurse's office.
"Yeah...-" Caesar stills there with eyes narrowing; seeing the look in his eyes he was confused along with all the lights off, due to there not being a moon tonight it was pretty dark without a light. There eyes widen at seeing something forming from the darkness.
"What the hell's happening?!" Leo asked at seeing from the darkness came about five figures; they all wore black cloaks and skull like masks. Seeing them, Caesar's right arm gains a silver gauntlet and a sword, on which both has an ornate designs.
"Leo, stay behind me!" Caesar yelled while the five charge at him, not seeing one charging behind the two. As Caesar dealt with them he turns back fast to find Leo in a defensive stance with one charging at him and before he could do anything, much to his shock, Leo moved with incredible speed as he slams his right fist directly into its face, shattering its mask as it was sent backwards, surprising Caesar to see a serious Leo.
"Bring it on..." As he said it, more began showing up as well as in other places inside the park too.
~~~~~~WITHIN THE REALM OF THE DEAD DURING THE TIME OF HE ATTACK~~~~~
"W-Why..." Came the words of Hades who hard a large spear stabbed into his chest, his bones themselves began turning to sand. Currently his entire castle was nothing and approaching him was the one to have done it all. He has tanned skin, golden eyes and dark teal hair that spikes out at the back, and in twin spikes similar to horns in addition to two ponytails bound with golden rings. He wore a sleeveless green trench coat with a black border that is patterned with orange triangles, a lavender long-sleeved shirt that reaches past his waist with the sleeves rolled back to form spikes at his elbows, a light green sash at his waist, tan pants, and simple brown boots tied at the cuff with tan cord. He also wears a large golden cross-shaped adornment that is clipped onto one of his bangs, twin golden bracelets with curved designs engraved on them. The man just grabs the spears handle while speaking.
"It's simple, humanity doesn't need gods anymore." With those words he pushes the spear further in the God of the underworld who screamed as he turns to sand. As he pulls his lance away he glances at the one behind, it was a woman riding a horse, holding a spiked lance while staring at the man with amusement.
"What now, Karna?" Hearing that, the man just starts walking away and passes her.
"I am a God Slayer Artoria, what do you think?" Karna questioned the woman who just follows after him on her horse. Both walking through a path of destruction that Karna had created.
