"Paris?"

"Yup."

"No way in hell."

Barry groaned, "Oh come on Captain! It'll only be for two weeks! Promise, you won't even notice that I'm gone."

"Allen, you can't just come out of the blue, and expect me to let you call out of work for two weeks during our busiest season, just because you felt like going to Paris." Singh explained with a deadpan expression.

"I didn't just feel like going, I need to go for a very valid reason." Barry explained.

"Fashion week in not a valid reason."

"Yes it is! Oh come on!"

"No, it is not. Just like how going to Fiji because it was too cold in Central City, wasn't a valid reason!"

"But I always winter in Fiji!"

"So your friend Mr. St James told me when he called me, in an odd attempt to convince me to let you go with him to Fiji. In the dead of winter."

"Jesse is a good friend like that, and it worked didn't it?"

"Yes, well, I hope you enjoyed your vacation in Fiji, because you are not going to Paris."

"Who do I have to call to convince you otherwise?"

"I don't care who you call Smythe, you aren't getting time off to go to Fashion Week in Paris!"

"You do realize I have both the Mayor, and the DA of Star City on speed dial, right?"

"And I don't care. Why do you want to go to Fashion Week so bad anyways?"

"I don't know, maybe it's because my best friend is a fashion designer. Or maybe it's because my foster mother is an interior designer. Or maybe, here's a crazy idea, it's because I was once a model myself."

"You're still not going"

"If you let me go, I can get you tickets to see Mercedes Jones perform live. I know your fiancé is a fan of hers." Barry tried to convince.

"Are you bribing me Allen?" Singh asked incredulously.

"That depends, is it working?"

"Get out of my office Allen." Singh commanded.

"Will you at least think about it boss?" Barry asked desperately.

"I will consider it, now get out."

"Thanks Captain!" Barry exclaimed with a grin.

"That wasn't a yes!" Singh cried out as Barry darted out of his office. David Singh sighed, what was he thinking when he decided to hire a playboy billionaire? Oh right, at the time, he had no clue what a handful Allen/Smythe could be.

Hitting number 7 on his speed dial, Barry waited for his friend to pick up.

"Hello?" Greeted the person on the other line.

"Hey gay-face. I need a favor from my favorite Porcelain." Barry said.

"Seriously Smythe, you call me, insult me, and then ask a favor from me?" Kurt asked.

"Oh come on, it's our thing." "

"Why do we have a thing? I used to hate you, we shouldn't have a thing."

"Yes, we should. Because if we don't get along, your Husband will get angry at us, and I don't want to incur his wrath."

"I see your point Meerkat."

"Now, about that favor…"

"What do want Sebastian?"

"That's the spirit! I need a plus one ticket for you fashion show in Paris next week."

"Who are you bringing? Do I know her?"

"Oh, you know her alright. It's…."

"You're going to wear that shirt? Try again."

"This is the fifth one you made me try on!" Barry said exasperated, as he turned towards his laptop.

"Well, if you didn't want my opinion, you shouldn't have called." Said Nick, with a matter-of-fact attitude.

"I didn't! You called me!" Barry reminded him.

"Details, details." Nick said dismissively, "Anywho, where are you going tonight anyways?"

"Just a bar with some friends. The usual."

"You going to get drunk?"

Barry gave him an amused glance, "I don't think I will."

"Aw, that sucks. You're really funny when your drunk."

"I wasn't that bad when I was drunk."

"Are you kidding me Bassy? There's a reason you banned from every bar in Ohio."

"That's an exaggeration."

"No, no it isn't. You are literally banned from every bar in Ohio."

"Still, I feel as if I didn't deserve all of those bans."

"Do you not remember that time you set loose a bunch of baby chickens in that one bar in Lima?"

"Ok, but that was just once!"

"Or that time you put food coloring in the vodka and tried to convince people you were drinking blood?"

"Oh, that wasn't that bad."

"Or that time you dyed that bartender's hair pink."

"That was never proven to be me. False accusations my friend.

"What about that one time you changed all the sugar in the dorm hall into salt? You had people paranoid for the next month because of that."

"Again, it was never proven to be me."

"Or that time you tried to convince the warblers that you were half-cyborg?"

"I'm pretty sure most of them believed me."

"Well, obviously, I was one of them. I mean, who else can sing, dance, and play lacrosse as good as you, while keeping that GPA. If that doesn't scream cyborg, then I don't know what does."

"I love karaoke bars! I'm so glad we decided to go to one today!" Iris exclaimed.

"Yay." Barry cheered sarcastically.

"Psh, Barry, I think that girl is checking you out." Cisco told him, with a not so quiet whisper.

"Well, obviously, I'm pretty amazing after all."

"You have quite the ego today Barry." Caitlyn remarked.

"No, I just happen to know the difference between ego, and the truth."

"Hey Barry, I heard you asked Singh for some time off, what's that about?" Eddie asked.

"You asked for some time off? Why Barry?" Asked Iris.

"I'm going to Paris."

"Paris? What, why?" Asked Cisco.

"For Fashion Week of course!"

"Fashion Week." Stated Eddie incredulously.

"Well, duh. I mean, my best friend Kurt Anderson-Hummel is premiering his new line, and as a retired French Model, he wants me to be the face of it."

"You. A French model. Best friends with Kurt." Iris repeated.

"That's what I said." Confirmed Barry.

"Wow Allen, I didn't think you could be that great at lying." Eddie said, laughing. Iris, Cisco and Caitlyn quickly joined in the laughter.

"I am telling the truth guys." Barry told them with a smirk.

"Right. And will you be modeling this line with Quinn Fabray?" Caitlyn asked mockingly.

"Well, yes I am actually. Good job Dr. Snow, I wasn't aware that you knew this much about the fashion industry." Barry congratulated.

The others all kept on laughing. "That's a good one Allen. You can tell us what you're really going to do on your time off at a later time." Eddie said.
