Magnia could feel Bee's spark thumping wildly as they flew over the desert. Ultra Magnus had gotten them as close to Darkmount as he could without tripping any alarms, but they still had a bit of flying to do.

"You really don't like heights, huh tough guy?" Magnia teased.

"Just…hurry," Bee gulped, optics still closed.

"I wonder what would happen if I did a couple loop-de-loops," Magnia grinned.

"I'll…purge…all over…you," Bee growled. "Feeling sick…already."

They were silent for a moment until Magnia asked, "Bee, why do you trust me so much?"

Bee smiled to himself, "I have…my reasons."

Magnia frowned, "What reasons?" She set him down because they were nearing Darkmount, and they continued on foot.

Bee grinned, "That whole…bond thing…isn't as…one sided…as you…thought."

Magnia froze, "What?"

"I didn't say…anything," Bee said casually.

Magnia's faceplates burned with embarrassment, "You knew I could hear your thoughts? Why didn't you say anything?!"

"Decided to…have my…own fun," Bee laughed. "Whenever you…tapped in…I'd just…control my…thoughts."

"You-!" Magnia clenched her servos, "you jerk!" She angrily walked away, fuming to herself. All those things he had thought about her weren't even true? I knew it, she thought sadly. He doesn't really care about me anyways.

"Of course I care about you," Bee's voice interrupted her thoughts. "All that stuff I thought was true; you are beautiful. You're the most beautiful femme I've ever met."

Magnia turned and looked back at Bumblebee, who was blushing like crazy, "You really mean that?"

"Of course."

Magnia frowned, "What about that part right before Ratchet came in?"

Bee smirked, staring into her optics, "Oh, I especially meant that."

Magnia felt a shiver run up her back strut as Bee walked ahead of her. He was so…bad!

"You like it when I'm bad?"

"Primus," Magnia ducked her helm, embarrassed. "I am so not having this conversation with you."

"I'll take that as a yes then," Bee mused, grinning. "I'll have to be bad more often." He revved his engine at her, and she laughed, shoving him away.

"Back off, Bee," she chuckled out loud. "We have to do this mission. We're almost within their sights."

She grew serious, "Ok, raise your servos above your helm." Bumblebee obeyed, and she pointed her cannons at him, "We'll go like this from here."

Soon they were at the lower entrance to Darkmount and the two mechs guarding it eyed Magnia warily.

"Weren't you kicked out?" one asked her.

Magnia growled, "Mind your manners, soldier. Megatron will let me back in once he sees who I've brought him." She poked Bee in the back a little hard with her cannon, "Optimus Prime's right hand bot." To Bee through their bond she said, "Sorry! I had to make it convincing."

"It's fine just don't lose your cool," Bee replied, nervously eyeing the guards.

One of them commed Megatron, and he arrived at the entrance, eyeing Bumblebee like a cat eyes a bird.

"Well, well, well," Megatron said smoothly. "Apparently you aren't as useless as I thought, Magnia." He smiled benevolently at her, "Welcome home, daughter."

Magnia saluted him, "Thank you, sir."

Megatron turned to Bumblebee and said sinisterly, "I know you can't talk. But in a few hours we shall see if you can scream; and then you will tell us where Optimus Prime is hiding."

Bee shuddered and Megatron nodded to the guards, "Take him to the brig."

"Magnia!" a shrill squeal interrupted them as Roulette burst into the room and zoomed over to her friend, nearly knocking her over in a big hug.

"Roulette!" Magnia exclaimed, never happier to see her energetic friend.

Knockout popped up next to them and yelled, "Group hug!", before joining in.

They released her finally and Roulette began talking really fast, the way she always did when she was excited, "I'm so sorry I didn't come to save you; they had us on lockdown like we couldn't go anywhere! And I had no idea where you were and I was so worried and-"

Knockout cut her off, "Where have you been, Magnia?"

Magnia sighed, "Trying to find a way back to you guys. It took forever for my wing to heal, and my leg was broken too. But I'm finally home!" She grinned, "So what's been happening here?"

While Roulette prattled on about stuff, Magnia sent a quick message to Bumblebee, "Hey are you alright?"

"Fine," he replied. "Terrified out of my processor, but fine. Who was that mech you were hugging?"

Magnia grinned, "Why? Jealous?"

Bee sputtered, "No! I was just curious."

"It was Knockout; he's one of my friends."

"Seriously? Knockout? But he's so…cruel."

"Hey! Don't insult my friends, Bumblebee. He's a Decepticon; of course he seems cruel to you."

Bee was silent for a moment, "So when are you coming to break me out?"

"In about an hour, when it's less suspicious. Hang in there, ok?"

"Ok," Bee said uneasily.

"Hey, Magnia, you ok?" Roulette waved a servo in front of her, startling her out of her thoughts. "You're kinda spacing out on me."

"Sorry," Magnia said sheepishly. "A lot's been going on. Please, keep going." She immediately felt guilty for not listening to Roulette's complaints about lockdown. It was her fault they were in it in the first place.

"So where did you find the yellow bot?" Roulette asked.

"Oh I ,uh, took him down in the same desert Soundwave dropped me in," Magnia said quickly. "Then as soon as my wings healed I hurried back here. Actually, do you guys mind if I grab a quick recharge?" They were nearing her quarters, "That bot was kinda heavy, and I'm super tired."

"Sure!" Roulette kept walking with Knockout, winking at Magnia behind his back.

Magnia smiled and retired to her room, worrying about all the things that could go wrong with her mission. Between all the worrying she couldn't fall into recharge, and ended up only getting to rest for half an hour.

"I'm on my way," she messaged Bee, sneaking quickly through the corridors and taking out the security cameras.

"Good," Bee said, relieved. "It's kinda creepy in here.". He had begun to worry Magnia would just leave him there, "Oh be careful; there's a huge guard outside the door."

"No problem," Magnia came up silently behind the guard and quickly stabbed him in the spark before he could sound the alarm. Then she typed the access code into the door and released Bumblebee.

"Thanks…doll," he buzzed, and she hid a small smile.

"Just hurry," she told him, handing him a small datapad. "Here's the access code to the fusion cannons; and make sure you take out all the of the security cameras on the way."

Bee took the datapad and then looked at her intently, "When will I…see you…again?"

She sighed, "I don't know Bee, you have to go."

He grinned, "Not until you…gimme a kiss."

"Seriously?" she groaned and then sighed when she saw he was serious. She gave him a quick peck on the lips and then shoved him down the hall, "Go!" Bee laughed and ran down the corridor out of sight.

Magnia breathed a sigh of relief and turned to go back to her quarters, but froze when she saw who was standing behind her.

Knockout stood, arms folded, glaring at her. And from the look of utter betrayal on his faceplates, she could guess he had seen the whole thing.
