Chapter 166: Part Four of The Final War Arc; Battle For The Himalayas

"OMNI GEAR?!" Diablous shouted while staring Ledo who only nods while everyone else was just watching in shock at what was transpiring before there eyes.

"Think of it as an evolution as well as alternative to Juggernaut Drive. Making it so that you can materialize that said very Gear outside your body so that it can take in its very own form and unleash its full power. Meet mine, his name is Fallen." After he said that, not a second sooner the monster known as Diablous appeared behind him yet his fist was caught by the shadow known as Fallen that reveals itself from the darkness. It was large robotic mech about Diablous's size, its color being primarily charcoal gray in with white, orange, and turquoise details. Its legs are noticeably wide at the hips with a single multicolored halo atop it's head as well as black angelic wings. Seeing that, Diablous was completely shocked.

"That's-" He was stoped by a field like energy expanding from the Omni Gear that just stands up straight while Diablous could not move.

"Don't tell me..." Diablous muttered with wide eyes in realization while Ledo just looks at him.

"I may be as weak as a human but I put all my power into this Omni Gear mode...either way...making myself human was the only way I could use this Sacred Gear since full blooded Supernatural beings cannot wield these devices due to it breaking the law I had placed on it. What you're experiencing is the power of a God. Basically, it's nothing different to what I was used too..." Ledo told the struggling Diablous who's body was frozen in time. He just watches the machine like beings body gives off a golden aura.

"Do it." After saying that, it took a single punch to send Diablous face first into the now crater that was formed from the impact of his fist. Soon enough he was grabbed by his head and lifted up by Fallen who throws him with all it's strength straight towards the heavens where he pierces the clouds in less then a second before find Fallen above him with its right fist having been drawn back before it swung it with blinding speeds that slams directly into Diablous's face, sending him straight for the ground yet Fallen appears below him before delivering a powerful kick into its abdomen that sent it back up yet this kept happening over ten seconds with it having been repeated over fifty times, ending with a beaten Diablous held by his head with all the bones coming from his back having been shattered.

"Is that-" Ledo stops there when he saw Diablous touch the arm of Fallen.

"You forget, we're still connected so...let's make things much more fair." After saying that, he raises his left hand with his thumb being the only one bent. Seeing this, Fallen swung his glowing golden fist directly at Diablous's face yet the four fingers touched Fallen's chest which resulted in four red beams going right through Fallen's body including Ledo's body also received the same wounds, followed by blood shooting out from Ledo's mouth. Seeing this, Diablous was quite surprised at what he saw since the damage on Fallen also damaged him. Seeing this, Koneko, Irina, Ravel, Asia, Xenovia, Le Fay Pendragon, and Bennia were quite shocked at what they saw all the while Issei held Rias closely, only able to watch Diablous hurt Ledo who stood tall, even while bleeding.

"I see..." After Diablous said that, Fallen looks at Ledo just as the enemy appeared in front f the wide eyed Ledo who had an arm rip through his chest, resulting in more blood being made.

"GOD!" Xenovia shouted the name of the once God who grits his teeth, hanging in the air while Diablous had his arm extended upwards, when he looked back he was met with an unharmed Fallen who slams its left first into his face that sent him flying far away from them with Ledo falling towards the ground after he was released yet he lands on his feet.

"Do it..." Once commanded, Fallen raises its left arm towards Ledo before all the blood, flesh, and bone returned to there normal position, within Ledo who was fully healed. His attention was drawn towards the approaching Diablous who was cracking his neck.

"Eheheheh...that tickled." With that said, he was already behind Ledo with his right arm pulled back but once again he was hit by that very field that froze his movements before it shatters with his being able to move again as well as two powerful fists meeting one another, causing a destructive shockwave from the two strikes. The two could clearly see that they were a match in strength wise.

"FALLEN!" Ledo shouted, causing his Sacred Gear too increase the strength output in there connecting with his slowly pushing back Diablous'a fist until he started to yell, increasing his own own strength until they were once again a match. Ledo and Fallen both gave off a golden aura while Diablous gave off a black one. While there fists were connected, the two could see it. From Diablous, he saw a man on his knees, watching in despair as his home which was a boat like city burning. From Ledo, only happiness from all he has seen, Naruto, Issei, Vali, and many others. Ledo and Diablous stood on opposite sides, one was a side filled with friends of the present while the other was filled with sadness and vengeance of the past, all by himself. The two step forward and continue until they stood directly in front of each other.

"Your human now, and seeing you like this shows you recently just acquired this power not to mention your slowly reaching your limit. Being human...is nothing but a weaknesss." Diablous told Ledo who simply smiles sadly.

"Really now...isn't Issei human?" When he said that, Diablous looks away.

"I must admit...even if he's a Devil now...you blessed him. You made a bet on Naruto, Issei, and Vali...of this generation...we both know that your no longer needed to protect, since there stronger then you are." Hearing that, Ledo just looks away now staring at a picture of a baby Naruto, Issei, and Vali being born.

"As well as, you've already made many more preparations in the future to ensure it's protection so why don't you just stop interfering?" Hearing that, Ledo looks up now thinking about Azazel, and how he acts.

"I'm just..." He slowly looks back at Diablous with a smile on his face.

"Trying to die, fully complete...after all, I don't want to leave anything behind when I go." When he said that, Diablous'a eyes just widen in shock just as everything turn white with both feeling pain from there chests. Outside the mindscape, Irina, Xenovia, and Asia could only watch in horror at what was taking place. In front of there eyes, Ledo's right arm was through Diablous's chest while Diablous's right arm was through his own.

"GOD!" Asia shouted, standing up slowly yet was stopped by the man looking at her with an easy going look before turning his smiling face back at Diablous who was gritting his teeth.

"D-Dammit..." Diablous spoke before the two fell to there knees all the while a blinding light could been seen from Diablous chest while a darkness from Ledo's. Slowly, Ledo draws his hand out of his enemy yet as the wound healed the light remained until it was completely covered by muscle.

"It seems...it really is my time...finally." Spoke Ledo, revealing not a sad but grateful smile upon his face. Seeing this, Diablous just stares at him with anger still coming off of him yet, the enemy simply closed both of his eyes, also knowing it's his time.

"You planned this for quite some time, all the while knowing you were gonna die by my hand. You could have stayed a God but this would have just stayed the same...so...why?" Once asked that, Ledo reveals a peaceful smile which answered his question.

"So...why would you place a power restriction on this universe? I felt it the moment I was free, those of this universe that leave to enter another one will fall under that restriction as well as all those who enter this universe will fall under it so why even place it?" Diablous asked a very curious question indeed yet what he got wasn't what he thought.

"Because...eheheh...actually...I forgot why I did awhile ago. But that won't matter in the end, when I die the restrictions will disappear." When Ledo said that, Diablous couldn't help but sigh with a smile appearing on his own face.

"I see...so...you couldn't remember yet still made a plan in the end. Tell me...was it true that if you kept being a God then you wouldn't be able to see our lover from the past. Even as a God you follow your own rules, right? If so, all that was left was for me to join you again, after all you can't truly die without being whole since you will always get that nagging feeling that your missing something. If that is indeed true then I don't care...it doesn't change the fact that once we become one you will once again hate humanity...that's all I wanted was to be apart of you again." While Diablous said that, his darkness started pouring into Ledo's chest all the while the Evil God's body started turning white with cracks appearing on the skin.

"I was born as a human...so it's just right that I die as one, too." With those words being said, Diablous's entire body was completely white before turning into said that blew away with the wind. After that, Ledo falls to his side with Xenovia and Asia making there way over to him with Irina being helped over to him by Xenovia. Asia had already activated her Sacred Gear, raising her arms and about to activate Balance Break when she was stopped by Ledo placing a hand on her's to stop her followed by a shake of his head. Ledo moved his weak body so he could lay on his back completely, staring to at the cloudless sky that was cleared during there battle. After a few moments and the looks of tearful believers, he finally spoke.

MADARA DIES OST

"This world...no longer needs me too protect and lead it...it didn't need me for a very long time now." When he said that, Xenovia grits her teeth but was stopped by the man placing a hand atop her head so he could ruffle her hair yet the tears continued to fall.

"Truth be told...before I ridded myself of my hatred...I despised humanity for you see, I myself was once Human before I became a God. Humanity was the reason I lost my first love yet...after being given this power my eyes were open to the truth yet..." As he spoke, tears start falling from his eyes.

"I still couldn't stop this hatred...so I cut it out of me...once again I feel that very hatred for Humanity, there inability to get along and cause war...yet...there's another side to them. A warm side filled with joy and hope. Naruto...was my bet towards the future of humanity...and it appears that I made the right choice. I know he can do it...that's why I wanted too at least fight one more time, as a human." After saying that, he looks at Irina before he moved his hand weakly over to her cheek so he could wipe away her tears, after that a glowing white light runs out from his index finger into Irina which caused her black wings to once again turn Snow White, whiter then any angel wings before her and glowing.

"From this day forward...I declare you a Seraph...your mission is to watch over your son, Gil...he is still very young even if he's looks physically older...he still has a lot to learn, after all he will next in line to be God after Naruto." When he said that, Irina's eyes widen even more with the tears quickly building up to the point she's struggling not to cry. After that, he looks at the two girls.

"Thank you...for always praying to me. Even after you thought I died...even after Naruto became God...you continued praying to me...so I thank you..." After saying that, he once again looks at the clear blue sky.

"After Eon's...Amy...I'll see you...very soon." While he spoke, his eyes started too close which the Church trio's eyes widen.

(...I saw it...when I first became God I was given a vision of the distant future showing a young man leading the Multiverse towards Peace. Leo...that is the name of the Multiverse's hope...he is the Child of Hope, a human possessing the power of a King.)

As those final thoughts traveled through his mind, his heart and thoughts finally disappeared with all that remains was his smile. Seeing this, the three girls burst into tears, no longer to hold back the sadness that held there hearts.

AT THE GATES OF HEAVEN

"So...haven't seen this in awhile." Spoke Ledo who was making his way through a cloudy area, heading for what appears to be an opened gate with a single girl standing there, waving. She was a young, beautiful girl who has light-blue eyes, blushed cheeks, and short, light brown hair with bangs and a small, red and yellow clip on the left side of her face, but not holding the bangs and 2 braids at the bottom. Her clothing consisted of a very decorative shapes and patterns, almost tribal like. She wears an orange, blanket-like coat with yellow frills on top of her brown crop-top that exposes her belly and belly button. She wears a layered orange skirt with yellow frills. She has a belt with a little pouch and sometimes carries a messenger bag; green with a feather in the middle and yellow lining, for work. Seeing her, tears start falling from his eyes while the girl runs to him so she could take his hand.

"Come on, everyone's waiting to see you again!" While she said that, she began too pull him towards the gate as they ran together.
