|Chapter 6: USJ Invasion

Class 1A

Izuku and the others were sitting in their class chatting but the greenette couldn't shake the feeling that something bad was going to happen. Danger Sense wasn't screaming at him but it definitely wasn't being quiet either. However, any thoughts and the chatter died down as Aizawa walked in the room.

"Good afternoon, children." The tired man greeted in his usual tone. "Today we'll be going to one of our off campus for your hero training." He said, earning him surprised looks from the class. "Myself, All Might, and one other will be overseeing your training."

Sero raised his hand. "What kind of training will this be?"

"Rescue training." Aizawa replied. "We'll have you deal with natural disasters, shipwrecks, and other disaster scenarios and how to handle them." He explained, exciting the class.

"Rescue training, we're in for it now." Kaminari said, grinning.

Kirishima pumped his fists together. "This is what I became a hero for."

"Kero, I can finally show off my skills in the water." Tsu croaked.

Aizawa fixed them with a glare. "I wasn't finished." The class silenced themselves instantly. "You can either wear your costumes or the P.E. uniforms, it's all up to you." He pressed a button and their briefcases popped out of the wall. "We'll be taking a bus to get there; you have ten minutes."

The class quickly grabbed their briefcases and shot off to the changing rooms before Aizawa could even finish getting into his sleeping bag, not wanting to invoke their teacher's wrath.

Bus Stop

"Hikaru, Midoriya, shouldn't you be organising the class into lines for the bus?" Iida asked the two, chopping the air. "As class president and vice president, I believe you should be instilling order into us when necessary."

Akira nodded. "Yeah, but that isn't the case right now." He said.

"It's an open layout bus." Izuku finished. "So we're all good."

Iida bowed. "I see, forgive me." He said.

"Nothing wrong with being eager, bud." Akira said, patting him on the shoulder. "Though we should be getting them on." He said before he turned to his classmates. "Alright, everyone, load up!"

Once everyone was seated, they made their way off to the training facility.

Inside The Bus

Izuku's danger sense became slightly louder as the bus took off and he couldn't deny that it was giving him just a small headache. Next to him, Akira gave him a worried look but held his tongue.

"Excuse me, Midoriya, kero." Tsu called, distracting Izuku from his thoughts.

"Yeah, Tsu?" Izuku replied, deciding to focus on something that wasn't his headache.

"I generally say what's on my mind, so I got to say…" The frog girl started. "Your quirk is confusing." She said, getting a raised eyebrow from Izuku.

"How so?" Izuku asked, intrigued.

"Well at first it looks like a simple muscle augmentation quirk but then you start flying." Tsu explained. "Not to mention you seem capable of using wind attacks."

Izuku actually had to give her that, his quirk probably did seem confusing. "I barely know everything about my quirk myself." The greenette said, getting confused looks from everyone. "I've only known about my quirk for just under a year." He reminded them. "It's an energy stockpiling quirk that I never actually knew about and has been building power for ages; I grew up thinking I was quirkless." His voice got more sombre at the end of his explanation as old memories came up.

Akira placed a glowing hand on Izuku's shoulder. "Don't focus on the past." He said with a firm tone. "You're not worthless, never were, never will be." His voice took on an angry tone.

Izuku placed his hand atop the one on Akira's. "Thanks, Akira." He said, calming his friend down slightly. They didn't need to make a scene right now.

Tsu looked sheepishly at Izuku. "Kero, sorry if I made you uncomfortable, Midoriya." She said with a sympathetic look. "I didn't mean to bring up any bad memories."

"It's fine, Tsu." Izuku said, waving off the froggy girl. "That's all behind me."

Mina had moved closer to Izuku and held on to his arm. "Hey, whatever anyone said doesn't matter, they were all just jerks." She said. "You're amazing."

Izuku blushed from the contact but smiled at her. "Thanks, Mina."

"Okay, we're here." Aizawa called out, getting their attention. "File off and focus up."

Unforeseen Simulation Joint (USJ)

As they walked inside the training facility they couldn't help but feel overwhelmed. There were large steps that lead down to the main plaza which broke off into several different sections. A large body of water, mini mountains, this place had a lot.

"Holy crap this place is huge!" Kaminari exclaimed, as they walked inside.

Jirou nodded next to him. "It's kind of like a theme park."

"Yeah, yeah!" Mina exclaimed. "Kind of like Universal Studio Japan!"

A new voice called out to them. "Not exactly." Looking in front of them was the Space Hero: Thirteen.

"Oh my god, it's Thirteen!" Uraraka exclaimed, shaking Akira's arm.

The space hero chuckled at Uraraka's fawning. "Welcome to my training site." She said, sticking out her arms. "Here we have floods, fires, windstorms, and any other disaster scenario you can imagine. We'll be teaching you how to deal with all different kinds of scenarios here." Thirteen explained. "I call it the Unforeseen Simulation Joint, or USJ for short."

'So… Universal Studio Japan.' The class thought collectively

Aizawa walked up to Thirteen. "Hey, where's All Might?" He asked.

"About that." Thirteen started. "He didn't arrive this morning, there's been a massive spike in crime today." She explained.

"Of course there has." Aizawa drawled. "Looks like we'll just have to manage."

Izuku's Danger Sense was slowly getting louder in his head.

"Well before we start today's training I'd like to tell you all something." Thirteen began. "As some of you may know, my quirk is Black Hole; it sucks in anything and turns it to dust." She explained to them. "While this may be good for rescue situations, it could also kill someone if I'm not careful."

The sound of bones crunching rang in Izuku's head and he sighed. 'Ow!' However, his attention was drawn away from everything else as his Danger Sense spiked. "What the… Something's wrong." Izuku suddenly called out, startling his classmates.

"What do you mean-" Aizawa didn't get to finish his statement as the lights cut off.

Izuku walked to the end of the steps and looked down to the main plaza; what he saw instinctively activated his quirk. "Villains!" He said, splitting the rest of his class into slight panic or battle mode.

Down at the plaza, a large purple mist was in front of the fountain, a horde of villains came through the mist. The last to come through the mist was a lanky teen covered in hands and… 'Is that?'

A large monster similar to the ones Izuku fought a month ago stood next to the hand teen. The only difference was this one was larger, much larger. Its skin was black and it had a bird like beak. Izuku's attention was drawn away from the creature as the mist shrunk and took a humanoid form.

'Warper.' His mind flashed back to what Hawks told him and he clicked his tongue. 'So they've been making them.'

Aizawa's form rushed past Izuku, his goggles up and his scarf flowing around him. "Thirteen, get the kids out of here!" He called before shooting down towards the villains.

Thirteen nodded. "Midoriya, let's go." She called out.

Izuku gave a worried look to Aizawa before catching up to the class.

Main Plaza

"Shooting squad, forward!" A villain with actual finger guns called out. 'Really, only one pro?' His face adopted a grin. 'This'll be easy.'

As if sensing his challenge, Aizawa's hair floated as he activated his quirk, causing all of theirs to become useless. The villains didn't get a second to think as the pro pulled three of them in with his scarf and slammed them into each other.

"You idiots!" A villain called out. "That's Eraserhead, our quirks are useless against him."

A villain with four arms rushed up against Aizawa with a grin. "Oh yeah, what about us with mutation quirks?" He said. "You can't turn off passives!"

The pro simply wrapped his capture weapon around the villain's arms and sent a kick to his face, knocking him out. "I have countermeasures for that." Aizawa said with a calm tone.

At the back of the horde, the lanky teen sighed. "Damn, Eraserhead is so cool." His tone was that of disappointment. "I hate it when heroes live up to their hype." He turned to the mist. "Kurogiri, separate the kids."

The purple cloud butler bowed. "Yes, Tomura Shigaraki." He said before he disappeared.

Top Of The Steps

Izuku's danger sense warned him of the incoming warper and he quickly sprinted in front of the class. "Everyone get back!" He shouted, holding out his arms; the whole class quickly halted.

In front of them, a large purple mist suddenly appeared. "Well, well, what do we have here? Are you trying to escape?" Kurogiri asked as his form became wider. "I'm afraid I can't allow that; I have to split you all up and send you to your deaths."

"What do you want?" Thirteen asked, getting in a stance.

Kurogiri chuckled. "Well, we of the League of Villains came here for one thing, All Might. His reign as the symbol of peace has gone on for too long, so we decided to come here today to kill him." His statement and calm tone sent a shiver down some of the students' spines. "It's a shame he can't be here to save you all, guess the decoys we placed around the city distracted him by mistake."

Bakugou and Kirishima quickly rushed the villain before he could continue to speak. "Nice try, asshole!" The blonde shouted with a powerful explosion.

Their attack, however, was ineffective as they heard the villain continue to speak. "Well, you certainly live up to this school's reputation." His form began to shift and he surrounded them. "It's time for you all to visit a few of my comrades."

Iida quickly grabbed Uraraka and Sato, Shoji held on to Sero and Tsu, while Izuku grabbed Mina and Akira. The rest of the class wasn't so lucky and were swallowed by the dark mist. After putting down his classmates, Izuku activated 20% of One For All and did a spin kick. The arc of wind that followed sent Kurogiri's form flying back.

"Well, this isn't the best." Izuku sighed.

Akira got up and dusted himself off. "Understatement much?"

"Shoji, can you find our classmates?" Iida asked. "With all these villains there, I must assume the villain spread them throughout the facility."

The six-armed teen nodded and spread out his limbs. "They're all still here." He said after a while, calming them down slightly.

"What are we gonna do?" Uraraka asked in a slight panic.

Akira walked over to her and placed a glowing hand on her shoulder, calming her down and making her blush. "We've got to get a signal out to campus." He said.

"How though?" Sero asked.

Izuku thought for a second before turning to Iida. "Iida, I need you to run to campus and get help."

Iida's eyes widened. "Me?" He asked. "Wouldn't you or Hikaru be faster?"

Akira shook his head. "Not by much and we need to stay here to protect the others."

Izuku slowly charged One For All to 25%. "I'll take care of the warper, run as fast as you can once you see an opening." He said getting in a stance.

Iida seemed conflicted but nodded. "Alright then." He got into a runners start, engines revving.

"Are you so confident to discuss your plan in front of me?" Kurogiri asked as he got back up. "I thought Yuuei would've taught you better."

Izuku looked him dead in the eye and smiled. "It's only our third day." He shot a large wave of wind towards the warper with a kick, sending him flying back again. The greenette didn't stop and flew up above the warper before sending him back further with a wind flash, courtesy of his punch.

Iida, seeing his opening, burst forward towards the exit. "I will return, friends!" He called out as his legs carried him away.

Kurogiri saw this and internally cursed. "No!" He tried to send a part of himself towards him but was thwarted as Izuku sent him flying back with another powerful air attack.

"Sorry, misty!" The greenette said as he sent a burst of air towards the door, knocking it open for Iida as he rushed out to campus. "But I can't let you do that."

"You're dead!" Kurogiri exclaimed, losing his composure at seeing Iida escape.

"I don't think so." Izuku said, sending Kurogiri over the steps with a quick flurry of air kicks. "Akira, come on!" He called as he rushed past his classmates.

"Wait!" Thirteen tried to object but it fell on deaf ears. 'Damnit!'

Main Plaza

Aizawa and the villain horde were battling when Kurogiri's form flew past them, crashing into the fountain next to Shigaraki. Looking towards the stairs, everyone saw Izuku and Akira running down towards them.

"What the fuck?" Shigaraki asked. "Kurogiri, what happened?" He felt like he wasn't going to like the answer.

"I was only able to scatter over half their class before the one with the green hair stopped me." Kurogiri grunted as he stood up, pointing towards Izuku. "From what I can tell, he has an extremely powerful wind quirk."

Shigaraki sighed. "A powerful and rare elemental quirk, this might be a problem."

Izuku jumped over the rest of the steps and landed in front of Aizawa before punching the ground, sending a number of villains back. Akira quickly slid over to their Sensei's side and put a glowing hand on Aizawa, healing and rejuvenating him.

"What are you two doing here?" Aizawa asked, rolling his shoulders as he felt his body heal. "What happened to the class?"

Akira pointed to Kurogiri. "Warper over there scattered just over half the class across the USJ."

"We managed to get Iida out to seek backup." Izuku finished.

Aizawa raised an eyebrow. "Why didn't one of you two go?" He asked.

Akira stopped healing Aizawa and moved to stand with Izuku. "Because we needed to take care of these guys." The black-haired teen said as his quirk's veins spread across his body. "No messing around, Izuku, do it."

Izuku nodded before smashing his fist into the ground, sending forward a wave of earth that knocked all the villains into the air. Using their imbalance to his advantage, Akira shot forward towards the falling villains and began to jab at them; every hit knocking out a villain before they were all unconscious.

"What?" Aizawa and Shigaraki said, both with a tone of confusion.

"Sensei, get back to the others." Akira said, turning to his teacher.

"Why?" Aizawa asked.

Izuku pointed at the Nomu. "Akira and I can't fight that thing with you here."

Aizawa shook his head. "I can't believe I'm letting you do this." The pro sighed, rubbing his eyes. "Fine, but if either of you two get hurt, it's detention." He said before running up the steps.

After Aizawa left, Akira turned to the only conscious villains and pointed towards the Nomu "So what's that… thing?" He asked.

Shigaraki quickly formed a smile. "Oh right, I almost forgot about him. This is our bioengineered anti-symbol of peace, Nomu." The dark creature only grunted in response. "We made him to kill All Might." His loud voice reached the top of the steps, flushing the students up there with worry.

"So how many quirks did you give it?" Izuku and Akira, however, were unphased.

Shigaraki stumbled slightly. "I'm sorry?"

"You know, enhanced strength, regeneration, absorption; what kind of quirks does it have?" Izuku asked, still calm. "That's what the last ones had, so I'm assuming this one is the same." His eyes trailed the monster and he tilted his head. "Maybe stronger though."

"Last ones…?" Shigaraki's eyes widened. "It's you!" He exclaimed. "Izuku Midoriya." The greenette's name was dragged out as if it made him sick. However, his disgust turned into an evil smile as he began to laugh. "Well you're exactly right, this Nomu is stronger than the last ones." He patted the large creature on its Shigaraki-head-sized-bicep. "Shock Absorption and Super Regeneration with strength comparable to that of All Might's, you can't beat him."

Izuku and Akira digested this information before charging their quirks. "Whether we can do anything or not doesn't matter." Akira said, getting his attention.

"What does matter is protecting our classmates no matter the situation." Izuku said. "That's our job as heroes and friends, so do your worst."

Shigaraki snarled like a rabid child. "Nomu." The black creature responded with a grunt. "Kill them!" He shouted, pointing towards Izuku and Akira.

The black creature screeched, its howl echoing throughout the facility, before shooting forward. Izuku and Akira both shot out of the way and the Nomu's fist shattered the ground where they stood. However, they had no rest as the Nomu quickly looked towards Izuku and struck at him with his right fist.

Izuku charged One For All to 25% and caught the beast's large hand with both of his. Akira quickly ran up behind the Nomu and kicked at its head, easing the pressure off of Izuku. The black-haired teen landed next to the greenette and they both made some distance from the monster.

Not wanting to let them escape, the Nomu rushed Izuku as he was still backing up and punched downwards. The greenette managed to jump up in time with Float before deactivating it and letting himself fall on the monster with an axe kick. Akira had strafed to the Nomu's front and instantly continued with a powerful uppercut to its falling jaw.

The Nomu waddled back slightly and tried to right itself but Izuku slid underneath its legs and jumped on its back. Grabbing the Nomu's arms, the greenette pulled them backwards and began to hold it. "Akira, do it!" Izuku shouted.

The black-haired teen rushed up with his arms glowing a bright gold and had his hands on the Nomu's chest before strong winds began to pick up around them. Light green and neon purple wisps began to flow out of the Nomu's body and spiralled around Akira in a golden colour. A loud screech rang throughout the USJ as the Nomu felt its energy drain and began to thrash, but Izuku kept a tight grip on its arms and kicked at its head.

However, this was exactly what the Nomu wanted and it grabbed at Izuku's leg with its beak before thrashing him off and sending him into Akira. It wasted no time rushing its downed opponents and began to barrage them with its fists. Izuku was first and had to quickly slap the ground to send the rest of his body upwards to dodge the punches, but the Nomu caught him mid-air and punched him hard, sending him back to the steps.

Akira was next and the monster went for the same downwards punch. The black-haired teen was quick to notice this and rolled out of the way before pushing himself up and rushing the Nomu. He quickly slid under another one of the beast's punches before striking at the arm three times and backing away. The Nomu went to strike at Akira again but only ended up rushing forward as its arm hung limply at his side.

Before it could ponder this, Izuku returned to the fight and sent forward a 25% flying kick to the Nomu's face, making it stumble back. Akira strafed around Izuku and dodged the Nomu's strike before hitting its other arm three times. The beast's arms were now both hanging limply at its sides and Izuku and Akira both punched it in the chest, sending it flying back to Shigaraki's side.

"Kurogiri, warp the flood zone squad here." The lanky teen ordered, getting a confused look from his warper. "Now!"

"Yes, Tomura." A multitude of portals opened up and a cluster of drenched villains appeared.

Back in the flood zone, Tsu smiled seeing the rest of her problems go away, ignoring the cries of the villain's face she was standing on. "Nice to see everything work itself out, kero."

"Flood zone squad!" Shigaraki called. "Hold off those two kids!" He shouted, pointing to Izuku and Akira.

The two teens, however, weren't going to let them have the time of day. "Oh no you don't!" Izuku's form became surrounded by powerful winds and green lightning began to roll off him in waves before he reached down to the floor with one arm.

"What are you doing?" Akira asked, quirk activated just in case.

"Doing something stupid." Izuku replied. "And pulling a Bakugou." His body's glow began to shift into his right arm before he smirked. "Die!" With a push, 100% of One For All forced the ground to crumble as the entire plaza was levelled in an instant.

The entire USJ could feel the quake he made and all the villains were thrown back by the force of the blow. Had it not been by the grace of the Nomu grabbing him, Shigaraki would've been thrown back as well.

Izuku powered down and started to breath heavily, but a large smile was on his face. Akira placed a glowing hand over the greenettes now disfigured arm and began to heal it as best he could.

At the top of the steps, Aizawa and the others could only stare in astonishment as what once was the plaza. Instead, a large crater filled with pillars of stone scattered around it filled the space. For once, Shigaraki was scared. The teens in front of him weren't even who they were here for, All Might hadn't even-

"HAHAHA!" Speak of the devil. "What do we have here?" Looking towards the source of the voice, they saw All Might landing next to Izuku and Akira. "My boys, get back to your class."

Shigaraki shook off his shock and turned to the Nomu. "Kill him, now!" He ordered before turning to Kurogiri. "Get us out of here, Nomu won't be able to beat him at this level."

The warper nodded and did as told, wrapping himself around Shigaraki before disappearing, not that anyone noticed.

All Might was wailing on the Nomu, punch after punch sent the creature reeling and blood spewing out of its beak. It was a testament to just how much power All Might had now that his injury was gone, and how effective Izuku and Akira were in disabling the Nomu before, as the creature had close to no way of fighting back.

The symbol of peace grabbed the Nomu's beak before shoving it into the ground three times and throwing it up in the air. "Sayonara, monster!" He yelled, throwing forward his fist. "Texas smash!" Glass and stone shattered as All Might sent the beast through the roof of the USJ and he rolled his shoulders. "That was a nice workout, now where-" The man paused as he saw the villains had escaped. "Damn."

Top Of The Steps

As Izuku and Akira arrived at the top of the steps, they stretched themselves and sat down. Uraraka quickly rushed towards Akira and gave him a hug. Tokoyami and Kirishima ran up to Izuku and began to check on him.

"You alright, man?" Kirishima asked, checking his bleeding forehead. "You don't got a concussion, do you?

Tokoyami nodded. "Yes, that would be unfortunate."

Izuku chuckled. "Don't worry I'll be fine." He reached at his forehead and winced before he noticed the new scar on his arm.

"Are you okay?" Uraraka asked after she finished hugging Akira.

Akira smiled. "Much better now." He teased. Uraraka saw her position and quickly scrambled off him, causing him to chuckle.

They all walked to the rest of the class and laid down. Instantly, their classmates cheered for them.

"You guys were so freaking cool out there!" Sero exclaimed.

"Yeah, I only got here after you took care of the monster's arm but I saw the rest!." Kaminari said.

"Is your arm okay, Izuku?" Mina asked with a worried tone. 'That much power has to have a backlash.'

"Oh yeah, your arm." Kirishima said, examining it. "I almost forgot that you turned the plaza into a crater with a push, that was incredible!"

Jiro chuckled. "You sounded a bit like Bakugou there, though." She said before holding out her hand in a Bakugou stance. "Die!" Her impression had everyone, sans the blonde pomeranian, laughing.

"That's enough." Aizawa said with a stern tone, silencing his class. "You can all mess around after you give individual reports of the events today to the authorities." The students internally groaned but he fixed them with a glare. "We also need to make sure that you all are okay; this school has a responsibility to you, so any and all injuries need to be dealt with."

The class all nodded and they followed Aizawa's order. Outside of the USJ, multiple law enforcement and emergency service vehicles were set up. A few of the students were checked for injuries while the majority of them went to different police officers and gave reports of their battles.

Izuku and Akira, due to their battle with the Nomu, had been giving their report to the lead detective, Naomasa Tsukauchi, another know-in on One For All. "Nice report, kids, I didn't expect Toshinori to teach his students to do reports properly." The detective said with a laugh, earning a flat face from All Might. "I can't even remember the last time he made a report himself."

"Funny, Naomasa." The large blonde looked to his students in betrayal as he heard them chuckle.

Off to the side, they could see the Nomu being dragged away by the S.W.A.T team. "Don't worry." Tsukauchi said. "Based on the report you gave us; this thing won't move without orders from this 'Shigaraki' guy." He smiled as he looked to the two teens. "Though, we can always call you two in to capture it again." His laugh was infectious as Izuku and Akira began to chuckle loudly.

Eventually, the whole class was able to give their reports and get checked by the paramedics and were given the green light.

"You all did wonderfully today!" Nezu exclaimed atop Aizawa, using the man's capture weapon as a seatbelt. "Villain encounters aren't rare, but one of this magnitude and at this is unprecedented for first years." His tone took an annoyed edge but returned to its normal maniacal nature right after. "Take the rest of the week off, you've earned it."
