|Chapter 15: Interlude – Two Heroes (Part Two)

Underground Laboratory

David looked at his screen with a great amount of confusion. All Might laid down in a tube connected to a large number of wires, wearing nothing but his boxers.

"This doesn't make any sense." David said to himself.

The tube opened and All Might sat up. "What's wrong, David?" He asked.

The brunette turned around to him with a distressed look. "Your quirk levels are still dropping rapidly." He said, steeping away from the screen and showing All Might a large graph going in a down trend. "Healed or not, your quirk levels shouldn't be going down like this, if anything quirk levels should only be able to go up." His exasperated sigh made the man feel ten years older. "If this continues, the world will lose their Symbol of Peace. The only reason Japan has a crime rate of 6% is because of you, other countries have around 20%, others are even worse." He sat back in his chair and observed the large red line. "Sometimes I wish you never left; America could really use you."

All Might got off the table and walked over to his friend. "David, look at me, there's more than enough capable heroes to take over when my quirk stops working altogether." He said, placing a hand on his shoulder. "And it's not like I'll be useless, I'm a seven foot giant and these muscles aren't for show." His muscles bulged as he flexed them, causing his friend to laugh.

"I guess, but it's gonna be a hard transition for everyone." David said before turning off the screen.

"I know it will, but everything will be fine." All Might reassured. 'Besides, the next generation will be even better than me, they'll be the pillars to hold up the world.' He added in his head.

Residential Area

Izuku landed outside his apartment that he purchased for his stay at the expo. The room he ordered had two bedrooms that were both rather large in size. As a whole, the apartment was only just smaller than the one he and his Mum lived in. Entering the building, Izuku quickly floated up the stairs to the top floor before using his key card to unlock his room.

He was met with a nice living space and decided to go sit on the couch. As he stopped floating and sat down, he pulled out his phone to text Mina. When he did, his danger sense went off and he barely turned his head when a pink blur crashed into him. After shaking himself off, he saw Mina grinning at him.

"Hey, Izuku!" Mina said excitedly. "How are you?" She had a pair of ripped jeans as well as white hoodie that left a bit of her midriff exposed. However, the greenette didn't notice that as he was distracted by her beaming smile.

After getting over his initial shock, Izuku hugged back. "My day was good but it just got better." He said, causing the pink girl to nuzzle his chest.

The two felt the world disappear and only focused on the warmth they felt when around each other… Until a familiar voice broke them out of their trance.

"Hey, lovebirds *Kero*." Turning to the voice, they saw Tsu and Hagakure. "Hope we aren't interrupting anything." The two had big smiles on their faces.

"Tsu, Hagakure." Izuku said in surprise as he sat up, still holding on to Mina.

"I thought you guys were gonna be another ten minutes." Mina said in confusion.

Hagakure giggled. "Sorry, did you two want some time to make out on the couch before hanging out with us?" She asked teasingly, gesturing to their position.

The two only then noticed how close they were to each other and quickly separated, with Izuku falling off the couch. "I almost forgot that I invited you two as well." Izuku said with a sheepish smile as he stood up.

"Kero, come on, Mina, we have to unpack our things." Tsu said, walking to their room. "You two can make out afterwards."

Mina, with a now purple face, stood up from the couch and quickly walked to the room she would be sharing with the others. Hagakure followed after her with her own bags, not before winking at Izuku first. "You definitely know how to pick 'em."

Girl's Room

As soon as Hagakure closed the door, she turned around to speak to her pink friend. "Girl, I thought you were gonna wait for tonight to make your move!" The blue-haired girl exclaimed quietly, throwing her bag to the side.

Mina tried and failed to hide her now purple face behind her hands. "I know, I know." She groaned. "I just wanted to say hi, it's not like I meant for us to end up on the couch like that."

"You sure looked like you were enjoying it though, kero." Tsu said, a teasing smile on her face.

The pink girl couldn't take it anymore and shoved a pillow into her face. "Please just unpack your bags so we can go have a nice day out and I can forget about this."

"Alright, we'll unpack." Hagakure said, grabbing her bag off the floor.

"But we're never going to let you forget this, kero." Tsu added. 'Especially since Akira told us to make sure you two were embarrassed.'

Kitchen

As the girls teased Mina and unpacked their things, Izuku was standing in front of the freezer, trying to cool down his blush. 'I'm glad Akira isn't here.' He thought before grabbing a water bottle. 'I'd never hear the end of it.' The teen took off his jumper and tied it around his waist before leaning on the counter and taking a big sip of water. 'This is nice.'

His senses alerted him of someone behind him and he turned around to see Mina standing in the hall. Now that he could actually see her clothes, his cheeks flushed in embarrassment. "Cute." His face turned to confusion when he saw her cheeks flush. 'What's wron-'

He cut off his own thoughts as he realised that he hadn't been speaking in his mind. The teen's face became even redder but he quickly reigned it in.

"H-hey." Izuku stuttered out.

"H-hi." Mina replied, trying to cool down her face.

There was an awkward silence between them before Hagakure suddenly appeared in between them, startling the two. "That gave me second-hand embarrassment." She said to both of them. "Honestly, let's just go out already."

The two teens followed only after Tsu flicked them. "If you two wanna stay here and make out, say so, otherwise get moving *Kero*." 'This is gonna be a fun day.'

The blushes on their faces threatened to become permanent with that comment and they quickly made their way out of the apartment.

Residential Area, Market

The four walked around the market and marvelled at all the shops.

Mina suddenly spotted something fun. "Oooh! Arcade!" She grabbed Izuku by his arm. "Come on, Izuku!" The pink girl drawled out the 'u.' "Win me a prize!"

The greenette couldn't fight off the blush or the smile as he was dragged inside the arcade. Tsu and Hagakure gave each other knowing looks and rolled their eyes before following the two.

Inside the arcade, the four did every single game they possible could.

There was a Mario-Kart game where Mina beat them all without fail. The same thing happened when she challenged not just them, but the entire arcade to a game of dance-dance revolution.

Then there was a shooting game where it was revealed that Izuku could work a gun like it was an art. Others that were watching him play or those that were competing with him thought that he was using a quirk to let him do that.

However, his aiming skills didn't help him or his team in laser tag when Tsu and Hagakure both proved to be one of the best shooter duos the arcade had ever seen. Their multiple wins had actually set a new record in the arcade and they both received golden badges for their skills.

And finally, they had many, many, failed attempts at the claw machine.

"I just don't get it." Mina said, confused. "The claw is big enough to grab it, so why isn't it working?" The girl had been stuck on this machine with the other two girls, while Izuku was in the bathroom.

"This game sucks, kero." Tsu complained. 'I want my frog.' She had also been trying to win a stuffed animal from the machine, but to no avail.

Hagakure simply drank her smoothie as she watched Mina fail. 'I wonder how long it's gonna take them to realise that its rigged.' The blue-haired girl had realised that it was useless after the first two failed attempts.

"Why does it suck?" Izuku asked, suddenly appearing behind them.

"Ah!" The three girls were startled by the sudden appearance.

Izuku paid their reaction no mind and looked at the game they were playing. "Oh, the claw machine, I'm great at this game!" He said excitedly. "Which one were you trying to get?"

Mina quickly fought to keep the blood from rushing to her face and pointed to a xenomorph plush. "U-uh, that one." Truthfully, she had been trying to get the All Might plush for him.

Izuku smiled and nodded before walking up to the machine and tapped his card. He quickly manoeuvred the claw above the plush but, just before letting it fall, spun it slightly. As the claw fell, it spiralled and fell perfectly underneath the stuffed alien before closing. The girl's eyes widened as they saw the large plush be lifted up with the claw and deposited into the prize bin.

Izuku, oblivious to their stares, leaned down and grabbed the prize. He turned around and presented the gift to Mina. "Here you go!" The greenette exclaimed, giving a big smile.

Mina couldn't fight off the colour that rushed to her cheeks and stuffed her new plush into her face to help hide it. "Thanks, Izuku." She muffled behind the plush before giving him a hug.

Izuku hugged her back happily and the pink-skinned girl nuzzled his chest. Meanwhile, Hagakure watched this exchange with a confused expression. 'What kind of anime protagonist kinda luck is this?'

Tsu looked a little ticked. 'I mean, I wanted the frog but, whatever, have your moment.' She had to admit… they were very cute.

Mina went to one of the arcade machine to check their cards. "Huh, we only got one game left." She said in surprise. "Where'd they all go?"

Tsu and Hagakure deadpanned at her. 'Really?'

Mina decided to ignore their stares and looked around for a good game before her eyes landed on a group of three around a punching machine. 'Yes….' "Hey, Izuku!" She called to the greenette. "If it's our last game, let's go out with a bang." The pink girl pointed towards the punching machine and the group around it.

Izuku looked at it and weighed his options. 'I mean, no prizes but I'll be able to test my strength.' He smiled. 'And I'll hopefully be able to impress her.' The teen walked up to the machine and the group around it looked at him with raised eyebrows.

"Can we help?" One asked.

Izuku looked back and saw Mina was out of earshot. Leaning in, he started to whisper. "I'm trying to impress my friend over there." His eyes shifted towards Mina. "Can you guys let me have a quick go?"

The three looked at Mina and then back at Izuku. Their first thought was that he looked scrawny, but that was overridden by the Bro-CodeTM.

"Alright, go ahead." One of the others said. "And good luck."

Izuku smiled and tapped his card on the machine before the punching bag rolled down.

"Welcome to the I-Island Strength Tester, this machine was built a lot sturdier than others, so good luck!" The machine called out. "And noquirks!" It stressed the last part.

The teen shrugged. 'Figures.' His attitude changed once he heard a loud voice cheering him on.

"Come on, Izuku!" Mina cheered. "Kick its butt!"

Izuku couldn't keep the smile off his face and turned back to the machine. The group of three all gave him thumbs-up and he reared his fist back. Sending his fist forward, it connected to the bag with a loud bang.

The bag shot back into its place and the machine started counting up. The numbers kept going until they reached-

"ERROR!" A large amount of voices called out.

Looking behind him, Izuku saw the he had apparently gathered a bit of a crowd due to Mina's cheering. The greenette turned to the original group of three and gave them a confused expression. "What does that mean exactly?" He seemed to be the only one that didn't get it.

One of the teens shook their head with a smirk. "It means you're stronger than what the machine was built for." He explained.

Another interjected. "More importantly, it means you definitely impressed your friend over there." He wiggled his eyebrow.

Izuku embarrassedly muttered out a quick thanks before walking off back to his group. To his surprise, he saw two of his male classmates there also cheering him on.

"Sero, Sato!" Izuku exclaimed. "What're you two doing here?" He asked.

"Just finished watching you destroy the high score I set." Sato said with a chuckle. "And mine was over nine-thousand."

Sero also laughed. "I hope you don't plan on beating my Mario-Kart high score."

It was Izuku's turn to laugh. "Nah, Mina already beat me to that." He said, pointing to the pink girl; said girl was grinning mischievously. "Where are you guys going after this?" The greenette asked.

Sato smiled. "We're going to head to the food court for dinner after taking our prizes to our apartment." He explained. "We kinda lost track of time."

"Hm?" Hagakure hummed in confusion, taking out her phone. "It's night-time already?" She asked in shock.

The others checked their phones and were also shocked. "Let's go get some dinner then, I'm hungry." Tsu said before walking away.

"Can we do takeaway?" Izuku stopping them. "Today's been pretty tiring for me."

The girls thought it over before nodding. "Alright then, back to the apartment!" Mina shouted.

Residential Area, Izuku's Room

The green haired teen let out a sigh as he watched a movie from his bed. 'Today has been a lot.' His mask and other items had been left on his bedside table and his jacket laid on a hanger. 'Surprisingly tiring.'

He heard his door open and lazily moved his eyes towards the entrance. At the door, Mina stood with a box of food. "Want some company?" The pink-skinned girl asked; internally, she was freaking out. 'Keep it together, Mina.'

Izuku tiredly smiled as he sat up slightly and patted next to him. "Sure, come sit." His hair was a bit more messy than usual.

The pink girl swallowed and sat next to the green haired teen, putting the box of food on her lap. "I brought some katsudon." She opened the box and the smell of pork travelled to Izuku's nose.

Izuku's smile became bigger and he sat up more. "That's my favourite food." He said.

Mina nodded. "I know, it's most of what you eat at the cafeteria." She explained. The girl suddenly grabbed a piece of pork with a pair of chopsticks and shakily offered it to him. "Say ah."

The green haired teen didn't blush and opened his mouth. He hummed in delight as he tasted the pork and it filled his stomach. Mina continued to feed him and he didn't once notice how shaky she was. Eventually, the food was finished and the pink girl set it aside.

"What movie is this?" Mina asked, finally noticing the sound from the television.

Izuku looked back to the screen in surprise. 'Huh, I forgot I had this playing.' "This is a movie from after the quirk-revolution era." This was after society accepted those with quirks and allowed them to have jobs and live normal lives. "The actors here are actually using their quirks instead of using digital effects and a few off-stage people are helping out as well." This made the movie much more interesting.

The female antagonist suddenly pounced on top of the male protagonist and the two began to furiously wrestle until the female was kneeling over him.

Mina, face no longer sporting a blush, looked over at Izuku with a feral twink in her eyes. The green haired teen caught her look too late and she pounced on him. They both wrestled around until Mina managed to grab a rather large pillow and whack him on the head. It didn't hurt but it surprised him long enough for Mina to wrap his wrists in a blanket.

Izuku looked at his tied up hands and did a dramatic sigh. "It seems I have been defeated."

Mina giggled. "Alien Queen reigns supreme!" She exclaimed before hitting him on the head with another pillow.

The hit on his head distracted him once again from his danger sense ringing in his head. It did not, however, distract either of them when the T.V stopped their movie and a security alert rang out.

The two scrambled around on the bed and sat up to see the screen. Tsu and Hagakure soon joined them.

"What's wrong, kero?" Tsu asked, jumping on the bed.

Izuku stood up from the bed and walked to the balcony. "I'm not sure." He saw the multitude of security bots moving in groups around the frazzled civilians. "But I don't like it." The sound of metal behind him caught his attention and he saw he had been closed off from the apartment.

"Izuku!" Mina's voice shouted from the other side. "Are you okay?" She asked.

Before he could answer, his danger sense went off again and he looked down the street to see a mangled mess of security bots merged into one bigger one. The other security bots also changed form and they were suddenly the size of regular people.

'Ah crap.' "Mina, stay inside with the others, I'll be back soon." Izuku said before jumping over the balcony. "Hagakure, keep her distracted!"

Inside the apartment, the light bender had already dealt out a hand of UNO cardsTM to her two friends and arranged a large array of snacks in front of them. "What; this is the best distraction I know."

I-Island Central Tower

A man with a metal mask sat on a table holding a gun. "So, what will it be, will you be coming with us or do we need to start shooting people?" He aimed his gun at a hero and raised his eyebrow.

David sighed and nodded. "We'll both go, don't hurt anyone." He said, letting himself and Sam be escorted by the man's lackeys.

The man laughed as the two exited the room. 'I wonder how those security bots are doing?' He held up a metal claw and smiled again. 'This will definitely hurt.'

Above him, Akira gave All Might a deadpanned look and they communicated with their eyes. 'Really?' He asked with a raised eyebrow. 'Looks like we're the heroes this time.'

The large blonde gave him an unimpressed look. 'Don't even think about it.'

Akira shook his head. 'Too late.' He shrugged. 'Wait there, we got this.' Without another… mental word, he walked off.

All Might internally sighed. 'I hope my other student is being responsible.'

I-Island Residential Area

"Maelstrom Fist!" Izuku's right fist glowed with 15% of One For All and he sent a number of robots into the sky with a whirlpool of wind. Jumping up in the air, he let his quirk wash back through his entire body again and kicked towards the robots multiple times. "Wind Flash!" A large blast of wind reduced the robots to scraps and Izuku landed on the ground, stumbling slightly.

Shoji held off two robots before slamming them into each other and throwing them at another. The robot cut the incoming projectiles in half before rushing forward. "Sero!" Shoji held the robot back with his arms before throwing it to the sky. "Up top!" He exclaimed before punching another robot back with a flurry of machine gun blows. "Octoblow!"

The tape user swung up into the air and wrapped up the robot before swinging around and slamming it in the ground. "Where'd the big one go?" He asked. Another robot tried to attack him but he wrapped his tape around it before sending it into another one. "Trident!"

Sato kicked one of the robots and sent it into the ground. "I think-" He dodged a swipe from another robot before punching it away. "I think Tokoyami was fighting it!" Three robots jumped towards him and he ingested another piece of cake. "Sugar Rush!" A burst of punches sent them into a wall.

Down the street, a mangled mess of metal clashed against a giant being of darkness. "I'll show you for messing with Fumi!" The robot was suddenly picked up and slammed against the ground. From inside Dark Shadow, Tokoyami smirked. "Umbra Barrage!" Dark Shadow began to relentlessly pummel the robot into the ground until it was nothing but a metal sheet.

The sentient quirk, happy with its work, retreated back into Tokoyami. Izuku and the others dropped their stances after seeing there were no more robots in their area and re-grouped.

"Those definitely weren't the last of the security bots." Izuku said as he felt his head ping in different directions. "We'll need to split up if we want to get rid of the rest of them."

All of them could feel the sting of their cuts but ignored them. "What about all the heroes in the central tower?" Sato asked. "Shouldn't we get them?"

Tokoyami shook his head. "Something in the tower must be holding them there." He guessed. "And if we all go then the robots will do more damage before we get back."

"There shouldn't be too many left." Shoji said. "We cleared out our residential area before we got here." He commented. "One of us should be able to get to the tower."

Sero nodded. "Me and Sato took care of the business district robots before we got here as well." He said before looking to Izuku. "What's our plan?"

The greenette focused and tried to remember the different parts of the island. "Sato, Sero, you two take the underground train stations." They both nodded. "Tokoyami, Shoji, you two take the airport." Dark Shadow came out with a smile. "I'll check out the tower."

They all took a breath before they split off. "Remember, watch each other's six!" Izuku said as he flew off towards the tower.

I-Island Airport

Tokoyami and Shoji looked on with surprise at the army of security bots that awaited them. They all stood in a formation in front of the entrances and faced the two with red mechanical eyes. Despite the tense situation in front of them, the two couldn't help but feel impressed; it was like they were going against an army of Spartans.

Dark Shadow came out and wrapped himself around Tokoyami. "Enough standing around, let's get 'em." The bird boy needed no further order and rushed forward; Shoji followed close behind.

Tokoyami swiped his dark claw towards the front line and sent them flying back. Dark Shadow, powered by the night, laid waste to any metallic warrior that stood in its path. A group of robots, in a surprising display of teamwork, kneeled in a line in front of Dark Shadow and a single robot ran on top of them before being launched towards the bird boy. This robot, however, was smacked away just as easily as the rest.

Shoji was also faring well and had grown out multiple arms. "Octoblow!" His fists became bullets and he was the machine gun. Any robot that run up to him was reduced to sheet metal and spare parts within seconds. His arms went back to normal and he picked up six robot arms. He rushed into the middle of a large group of robots and easily tore through them using their fallen comrades.

The two boys looked at each other and then the remaining robots before smiling. "Have you been counting?" Shoji asked.

Tokoyami smiled. "Why?"

Shoji created extra arms. "Loser buys lunch." He said before rushing forward.

I-Island, Train Stations

Sero tossed a cupcake to Sato and the boy scarfed it down. "Sugar Rush!" The boy rushed towards a group of robots and punched them all into the wall.

The two had long evacuated any citizens that were still in the subway and Sero had taped the place off. So now it was just them and the robots.

"Trident!" Sero grabbed another robot and slammed it into another robot before spinning around with it like a Beyblade. "Whirlpool!" Any robot that tried to walk up to him was sent back. Eventually, the boy got dizzy and let the robot go, sending it into a wall.

Sato punched a robot's head off and looked around them. "Don't worry, Sero, we've almost finished them!" He shouted with glee as he only saw a group of ten remaining.

The black-haired teen attached his tape onto two pillars and smiled. "Trident Thrust!" Pulling as hard as he could, the teen shot towards the group and disabled three with a single kick.

Sato followed through with a ground slam before letting out another flurry of punches, knocking a few in the air. He grabbed one in the air by its leg and slammed it down.

Sero grabbed the last two with his tape and slammed them into each other before throwing them into the station wall. "Is that all of them?" He asked, looking around.

"I think so." Sato said before laying down. "Ugh, stupid side-effects." He grunted.

The tape user rubbed his elbows. "I feel you but, we gotta go."

Sato stood up and nodded. "Right."

I-Island Central Tower

Izuku ripped off the arm of a giant mech and slammed it into its own head before jumping off. He let out an exhausted breath as he saw that was the last robot. Whoever had taken over the island decided to leave the biggest robots to defend the tower, as evident by the large piles of scraps around it.

'That took way longer than I thought it would, should've used a higher output.' Standing in front of the tower, Izuku observed the metal plates keeping him out. 'Alright, no more wasting time.' Moving 15% of One For All strictly into his right fist, Izuku punched the metal wall. A massive hole was blown into the wall and the greenette started running. 'Please be okay, everyone.'

Izuku eventually came across a room full of guests and saw all the heroes on the ground, all bound by a strange device. The two guards in the room saw him and instantly aimed their guns at him.

"Hey, who are yo-"

Izuku went down to 5% and quickly flashed above the guard. The greenette sent an axe kick to his head, knocking him down. He swept his leg behind him, knocking over the other guard, before punching him into a wall.

"All Might!" Izuku yelled and went up to his teacher. "What the heck is this stuff?"

The symbol of peace sighed. "Believe me, my boy, I've already tried." He wriggled slightly. "These restraints are on par with those at Tartarus, not even I can break out of them."

Izuku looked around at the others in the crowd and noticed a lack of teenagers. "Where are Akira and the others?" He asked.

All Might sighed again. "Young Hikaru and the others have decided to take matters into their own hands." He observed Izuku's beat up form. "And from the looks of it, you did too."

The greenette nodded. "The security robots mutated and the others and I had to fight them off."

"Others?" All Might asked. "Who else is here?"

Izuku thought for a second and did a mental count. "…Almost the entire class..." He shook his head. "We're getting away from the main point, where are the villains?"

The large blonde wriggled a bit and Izuku helped him sit up. "Their leader was watching us but left while grumbling about kids interfering with adult affairs." He chuckled before becoming serious again. "My guess is he went to where David and Sam are."

"Alright, I'll catch up to them and-"

The binds on all the heroes flashed before disappearing and All Might was released. The symbol of peace stood up and flexed his muscles.

"Huh?" Izuku saw the other heroes stand up as well.

"They did it." All Might said with a large smile. "They actually pulled it off." His phone going off got his attention and his eyes widened at the name. "Melissa, are you okay?" He yelled into the phone.

"I'm fine, Uncle Might." Melissa said from her side of the phone. "The villains have Papa and are taking him to the roof right now, they have a helicopter to get him out of here."

"Don't worry, sweetie." All Might said confidently. "Uncle Might will stop them." He quickly hung up the phone. "You ready, Young Midoriya?" His eyes turned to his successor and he smiled.

Izuku's arms glowed with the power of One For All and he smiled back. "Always."

I-Island Central Tower, Roof

"I'd like to see you try that again!" Akira shouted, blood running down his forehead as he held on to the helicopter. "I will take that gun and shove it up your-"

The sound of a gun echoed in the air and Akira lost his grip. "Such a foul mouth." The metal villain said with a manic smile, putting away the gun.

Akira landed on the roof of the tower with a grunt, creating a small crater.

"Hikaru!" Melissa shouted. "Are you alright?" She asked as she ran up to him.

The black-haired teen rolled his shoulders and glared at the helicopter as it flew away. "I'm fantastic." He tried to stand up but his bullet wound stopped him. "Damnit… Get back here, you coward!"

"Don't worry, Young Hikaru!" A loud voice called out.

Akira almost instantly fell asleep from relief. 'Thank Kami.' The only thing keeping him from doing that was the pain from his bullet wound.

"We'll handle it from here!" All Might and Izuku's form suddenly whipped up to the helicopter.

Izuku flew through the vehicles door and grabbed the professor and a briefcase before zipping out. "I've got him!" He yelled to All Might, holding the unconscious man over his shoulder and the briefcase in the other.

All Might smiled before aiming at the helicopter and smashing through it, turning it into a ball of flames. The large blonde landed on the roof and the helicopter exploded behind him. 'Superhero landing.'

Izuku landed on the ground and laid down the professor. "Professor Shield, are you alright?" He placed down the briefcase next to him.

The man coughed out a bit of blood. "I'm fine." He looked to his best friend with a dejected look. "I'm sorry, Toshi." His gaze went to the floor. "This wasn't supposed to be real."

All Might put a hand on his friend's shoulder. "No, I'm sorry." He looked down as well. "If I had told you the truth, none of this would've happened."

Akira gave him a hard look. "You better tell him." His shoulder was glowing with a golden energy as his quirk naturally regenerated his body.

Izuku's head suddenly warned him of a close danger and he reacted quickly. His fist glowed with as much of One For All he could muster in his tired state, which was actually only 30%, and he sent a powerful punch to where his head told him to. "No more!" The greenette hit a large metal pillar and it shattered.

Hands outstretched, the villain with the metal mask stood; swaying slightly. "Stupid… brats…" He said before dropping to the floor.

The ninth One For All user smiled before letting his arms drop. "No more fighting, I'm tired."

The black-haired teen nodded at his friend's work and turned to All Might. "Confession time."

The large blonde sighed but nodded. "David…" He started, looking his friend in the eyes. "I should have told you this years ago. My quirk levels aren't dropping for any random reason…" All Might deflated back down into his normal form.

"Uncle Might!" Melissa exclaimed.

"I was never born with a quirk, just like little Melissa." All Might continued. "My quirk was given to me by my predecessor, who received it from hers, and so on down to the first user."

David looked at him in shock. "A quirk you can pass on?" His mind was running rampart trying to think how that could be possible. "Then that means…" He looked to Izuku and everything suddenly clicked. "You gave it to him, and the power that you held is fading from you."

All Might and his students looked at David in surprise before the large man laughed. "Quick as ever." His laugh faded and he bowed his head. "I'm sorry I never told you, I just wanted to keep you safe."

The brown-haired man looked at his friend before smiling and hugging him. "Stupid old man, it's fine." He said with a laugh. "I'm just glad I finally get to know."

"Yeah, this is so cool!" Melissa exclaimed, jumping on her uncle's back. "We're so much more alike now!"

All Might smiled before grabbing his niece and friend and hugging them tightly. "That we are, Melissa." He sighed in content. "That we are."

Izuku smiled at the three having their moment before he started to float off.

"Wait, where are you going?" Akira asked.

Izuku faced them but kept floating to the building's edge. "To see if the others are alright." He said before he fell off the edge.

I-Island Residential Area

Tokoyami looked up at Izuku's form and smiled. "Midoriya, good to see you're okay." He said.

Izuku nodded. "Likewise." He floated next to them and looked at the mess. "Did you guys get all of them?" He asked.

Shoji nodded. "Tokoyami and I cleaned up our end, took us a while though." He had an ice-pack on his shoulder.

Sato finished wrapping up his arm. "Sero and I finished up all of ours as well; though, at the end, the rest of them kinda stopped."

Sero rubbed his elbows. "What about you?" He gestured to Izuku's beat up form. "You look like you got it the worst."

Izuku sighed. "The main villain had all the big robots guarding the tower so no one could get in or out." He stretched his arms. "Fighting while tired didn't help either." He looked up to his apartment. "There's just one more thing I need to check up on." Activating Float, he went up to the balcony.

Izuku's Apartment

The moment Izuku stepped foot in the apartment, Mina tackled him onto the bed with a hug. "You're okay!" She squealed in delight. "I thought you got hurt really bad."

Izuku looked up and smiled. "Yeah, I'm fine." He held her closer. "Do you mind if we stay like this for a while?" He asked. "I'm really tired and this is comfortable."

Mina, blushing, nodded. "O-okay."

The greenette drifted off to sleep almost immediately, the events of his long day catching up to him. The pink girl followed soon after, more tired than she initially thought.

From the door, Tsu, and Hagakure both held up their phones.

"So do we send it to Akira or keep this between us?" Hagakure asked.
