Before the Autobots left to live on their home planet, they returned to Earth to say goodbye to their companions. Everyone gathered in Hangar E as Optimus gave a farewell speech.

"With our home planet capable of supporting life, we have much rebuilding to do," he said somberly. "Alas, we will miss our home away from home and the family we made here."

He nodded to Fowler and the children, who were struggling not to cry, "Thank you for all that you have done for us."

Agent Fowler turned to the children, "How would you three like to be agents of Unit E?"

"They'll only be consultants until they're of age, of course," June Darby added.

Miko hugged Bulkhead tearfully, "Don't leave Bulk! I'll- I'll miss you!"

"I know Miko," Bulkhead sniffled. "I'll miss you too."

Jack and Arcee said their goodbyes as well.

"You take care of yourself," Arcee told Jack sternly.

They hugged and Jack said, "You too, Arcee,"

Across the room, Bumblebee prepared to say goodbye, "Raf..."

"I know Bee," the small boy said sadly. "You don't have to say anything."

Bee smiled, "I never did."

Fowler, Ultra Magnus, and Ironhide shared a mutual salute before the bots headed into the space bridge.

Optimus was the last through, and then with a final lingering look at his human companions, he strode through after his team and was gone.

Magnia onlined in Knockout's Medbay, which made her relax for a moment until she remembered Megatron was offline, and therefore the Decepticons should have lost.

She sat up quickly, aggravating her shoulder, and collapsed back on the berth with a groan.

"Would you kindly lay down before you offline yourself?" a familiar grumpy voice said.

"Ratchet, thank Primus," Magnia sighed. "I was a little worried about why I would be in Knockout's Medbay."

"We have to stop meeting like this," the medic grumbled. "Mainly you have to stop getting injured so I have to fix you."

Magnia grinned, "Agreed."

Her grin faded as she remembered more of what had happened.

"Bumblebee...he killed Megatron."

Ratchet nodded, "I think the war might finally be over."

Magnia hugged her knees sadly, "I can't believe he would do that to me. He knew Megatron was like a father to me."

Ratchet raised an optic ridge, "He was going to kill you. Bumblebee was just trying to protect you."

"I know," she sighed. "So where are we now?"

"Cybertron," Ratchet said happily.

Magnia smiled, "Home at last."

Bumblebee came into the Medbay and grinned, seeing Magnia awake, "Hey...Mags."

Magnia frowned, "Bee what happened to your voice? You talked before."

Ratchet sighed, "It appears the cybermatter only temporarily fixed his voice box. Seeing as there is no more cybermatter, I cannot repair it. I'm working on Shockwave's portion of the cybermatter formula, so hopefully I'll be able to fix it soon."

"I'm so sorry Bumblebee," Magnia sighed. "That must be awful to get it back and then lose it again so soon."

Bee shrugged, "It's...whatever."

Ratchet interrupted, "Magnia, I must ask you a medical question."

"Um," she blinked. "Sure, Ratch."

"While I was patching you up, I had to make a few energon transfusions, because you lost so much."

Magnia raised an optic ridge, "And?"

"I didn't think it would work, seeing as my energon is light and yours is dark because you're a Decepticon," Ratchet shook his helm, "but it did. How is that possible?"

"Easy," Magnia shrugged. "I'm half Autobot. I bleed dark energon, but I can accept both types."

"Interesting," Ratchet murmured. "So who was the Autobot, your mother or your father? I might know them."

"My father," Magnia crossed her arms. "I don't know his name, and quite frankly, I don't care."

"Oh?" Ratchet looked a little taken aback. "And why is that?"

Bee looked uncomfortable as Magnia muttered, "He killed my mother."

"Ah," Ratchet swallowed, regretting asking. "I'm sorry to hear that."

"It's fine."

Ratchet was silent for a moment, "You know...I could find out who your father is through complex CNA testing." Seeing that she was about to object he added, "You seem like you could use a father right now is all."

Magnia seemed to crumble a little. "Sure, if you want to," she sighed, burying her faceplates in her knees.

Ratchet said uncomfortably, "Well...it could take a little while so, um, I'll let you know."

He left quickly, leaving Bee to comfort Magnia.

"Mags...what's...wrong?" he asked, touching her shoulder.

"You killed him," Magnia's voice was muffled.

Bee's optics widened, "Primus...Magnia...I'm so sorry...forgot he...was your...father."

She exhaled, "I know, you were just trying to protect me, and he did do some terrible stuff. But I mean how would you feel if I killed Optimus?"

"I know...I'm so sorry," Bee wrung his servos.

Magnia was silent for a moment, "He wasn't all bad, you know."

"...Really? How...so?"

Magnia smiled sadly, "I remember when I was a sparkling I used to draw him pictures of me and him holding servos. He would always pretend to be disgusted and crumpled them up. Then one time I found one smoothed out in his desk drawer that he had kept."

She sniffled, "I can't believe he's gone; I thought he was so tough that he would always be around forever."

"Oh no...Magnia," Bee cried, clambering onto the berth so he could hug her.

"I'm so sorry I did this to you," he said through their bond. "I just got so mad when I saw him beating you up;I didn't even stop to think..."

"It's not your fault, Bee,"

Magnia leaned her helm against his chassis, tears slipping quietly down her faceplates. "I honestly think I would have done the same thing if Optimus had been about to kill you."Bee comforted her for a little while longer, wrapping her in a bear hug. Ratchet came back in a little later and injected some pain meds into Magnia's IV, which made her drowsy.

She fell into a troubled recharge quickly, leaning against the murderer of her father.
