|Chapter 18: Kidnappings

Koda's Hideout

"Akira, what are you doing here?" Izuku asked as his friend landed next to him. "You were supposed to lead the others back to the camp!"

"I did!" Akira argued back. "Then I came here because you were taking too long!"

A laugh from in front of them reminded them of the villain and they both resumed their stances. "Another one!" Muscular's voice was dripping with glee. "I can feel your power!" He ripped away his tank top and muscle fibres covered his entire upper body. "Show me more!" With a shout, he rushed forward.

Izuku dodged to the left while Akira dove back and grabbed Kota. "Alright, kid, this is about to get intense." The healer placed the young boy in a tree far away from the mountain top. "Stay here, I don't know what other villains are lurking, so we'll beat this guy and be right back."

"Blood! Show me your blood!"

Izuku swung around the outstretched arm of Muscular and tore away the muscle fibres before swinging his legs towards his chest. The muscle fibres, however, negated the blow and the man grabbed Izuku's legs. Before he could do anything though, Akira appeared and kicked his hand, forcing it open. Seeing an opening, Izuku landed on the ground before uppercutting the man in the face, sending him back.

Muscular wasn't so easily deterred though and immediately begun another assault. His blows cracked the ground where he missed and stray muscle fibres floated around his arms. Akira flipped over a left strike before directly headbutting the man, disorientating him slightly. From behind, Izuku jumped up and kicked the villain in the back of the neck, sending him into the ground.

Again, Muscular proved to have a lot of stamina and jumped out of the ground quickly, forcing the two teens to regroup.

"His muscle fibres are what protects him." Izuku reasoned aloud. "If we take away those, he's weaker." But it was easier said than done.

Cracks appeared along Akira's fingers and his eyes glowed a solid gold. "I can try and force some life energy in him, after that it should only take a few seconds until I can negate his muscle fibres."

… Okay, maybe it was as easy as it sounded.

"Alright then, distraction time." Without another word, Izuku thrust his arms forward, covering the mountain in smoke. A moment after, he rushed forward by himself.

"What the hell is this?" Muscular yelled into the smoke. "Agh!" Something dashed past his face and punched him. "Cowards, trying to use fancy tricks!"

Two more blows struck his face and created enough force to make shockwaves. However, the smoke remained. Muscular tried his best to block the hits but Izuku was dead silent and too fast for him to catch. A concentrated blow on his arm sent it hanging limp by his side before two more to his knees sent him to the ground.

Suddenly, the smoke dissipated in front of him to reveal a straight-faced Akira with his hand stretched back. His eyes glowed a fierce gold and a similar-coloured lightning crackled around his form. Cracks ran along his hand and he thrust it forward, palm open.

"Lotus Paw."

Muscular felt his quirk's constructs being torn and ripped off of him. "Ah!" The villain tried to grab Akira off his arm but the teen disappeared into the smoke. "Come out!" He shouted, standing up. "Huh?" When the man tried to make more muscle fibres, a black crack appeared on his arm.

Before he could question what was happening, Izuku reappeared and kicked him in the chest, winding him. Akira followed immediately after; his fingers still covered in golden cracks. The teen slid between his legs and jabbed both of them, sending Muscular to his knees once more, before immediately returning to the smoke.

"Wait…" The large blonde finally realised what was happening as his muscle fibres continued to fail him. "No!" Muscular was left without any more muscle fibres in a smoky field. "No! No! No!"

Izuku and Akira suddenly appeared from the smoke on both sides of the villain. Akira's entire right arm was covered in golden cracks and was glowing violently when he sent it into Muscular's face. Meanwhile, Izuku's leg shone with the restrained power of 25% of One For All and he shattered all of the villain's ribs with a kick.

Their combined attack left the large villain dazed high in the air, completely open.

"Hey, you wanna do that thing we talked about?" Akira asked as he watched Muscular come down, his right arm still glowing.

Izuku's eyes widened with surprise before he smiled widely. "I thought you'd never ask." The power in his leg moved to his right arm and he reeled his fist back with Akira.

As Muscular came down, they both let their attacks forward while shouting. "Double Detroit Smash!" The combined hit completely obliterated the already defeated Muscular and the man's broken body smashed into the mountain.

The two teens both puffed as they powered down their quirks, both of their arms returning to normal. They both observed the villain for a moment longer before finally leaving him.

"I have never been more grateful in my life that one of your quirks was a smokescreen." Akira said, stretching his arms. "If that thing wasn't providing cover, then I wouldn't have had time to treat my arms."

Izuku shook his head. "That technique is dangerous; I get that pushing ourselves to the limit is our whole deal but draining your lifeforce is more suicidal than anything." He chided.

"I have excess lifeforce, that's my quirk's whole thing, I'm fine." The black-haired teen argued back. "And it worked." Akira pointed to the deformed Muscular imprinted on the face of the mountain. "Pretty damn well if I say so myself."

The greenette sighed before his head screamed at him. "Ngh…" He dropped to a knee and put hand to his head. 'Damnit, not good.'

"Izuku, what's wrong?" Akira asked with a tone of worry, already on a knee next to his friend.

The greenette opened his eyes and stood up. "We gotta go."

Before they left, however, Akira shouted. "Wait!" They both stopped and he ran into the forest before returning with Kota on his back. "We gotta drop him off first."

Izuku nodded before continuing to run. "Come on."

Forest Clearing

"Where is Mandalay?" Akira asked Pixie Bob as they arrived.

The blonde in question was air boxing while her horde of dirt guards took on the two villains in a colosseum she had conjured. "Her and Tiger are back at camp with all the students they had found passed out in the forest, as well as Ragdoll." She explained, spinning on her heel. "You should both head over there as well."

"Is everyone back?" Izuku asked the pro hero.

Pixie Bob shook her head. "Mandalay and Tiger got most of your classmates, but there's still four class B students and eight class A students unaccounted for." She punched behind her. "Ten including you two-" A rushing wind blew past her and she turned to see that both students had run off. "Damnit!"

In the ring, the dirt monsters stopped fighting. Immediately, Magne and Spinner ran off as fast they could with their injuries. 'Run, run, run, run, run!'

Forest of Courage

Izuku and Akira ran through the forest looking for their classmates when they both suddenly heard a rustle in the bushes.

"Shoji!" Akira sighed in relief. "Oh, we thought you might've died." He looked at his hand and almost screamed. "AAAAHHH!" Okay, he did scream. "What happened to your hand?"

The multi-armed teen kept his usual cool expression. "Villain bit it off with his teeth." He shrugged off the question. "Not that it matters, it was a duplicate and it'll grow back soon enough."

Akira's hand glowed and he put his hand to his friend's stub. "Let me at least stop the bleeding." His quirk did its work and the bleeding appendage stopped its flow. "Now where's Tokoyami?"

"I am here."

"JESUS!" Akira jumped back and held his chest, breathing heavily. "Don't sneak up on people like that, Tokoyami!"

The raven boy looked at him with a small smile. "It was a part of my training; I can't help it."

Akira deadpanned at him before shaking his head and sticking to their objective. "Right, Pixie Bob told Izuku and I that there were still about four Class B students and Eight Class A students out in this forest." He recounted in his head. "Six from our class now that we've got you two, we just need to find the others and book it back to camp, got it?"

Shoji nodded and put up his hand. "That's a good plan, but where is Midoriya?" He asked, noticing a distinct lack of green.

"What do you mean, he's right-" Akira turned around to find an empty forest ahead of him. "Where's Izuku?"

"I am here."

"FUCK!" The black-haired teen jumped back again and barely reigned in his fury at his friends as he watched them chuckle at his expense.

"Sorry." Izuku said, picking him up off his butt. "I flew up to survey the area and couldn't help myself on the way down." He chuckled at his friend's deadpan look before floating in one direction with a serious expression. "Todoroki and Bakugou are this way, and they're fighting someone, so l suggest we move quickly."

The others also steeled their expressions before sprinting behind him.

With Bakugou and Todoroki

"Just let me at him!" Bakugou swore as he and Todoroki dodged another wave of blades hitting them. "I'll give him everything I got and we won't have this problem!"

Todoroki shook his head. "You can't! You do that and you'll burn the trees as well as all of our eyes!" He chided the blonde. "He's got the advantage here." The teen quickly readjusted the unconscious 1B student on his back.

"Well what the hell are we supposed to do-" A loud boom cut off the explosive teen – Ha! – and all present turned to the source of the noise.

In doing so, they were greeted to the sight of Shoji, Tokoyami, and Akira following a hollering Izuku. "Finally, we found you guys!" He sighed in relief; the intense glow of his fists remained as he scanned their situation. "Not so happy to find this guy though."

"Flesh… Blood…"

Akira, Tokoyami, and Shoji all paused from their run and walked out of the bushes to stare at the man in the dark straitjacket before taking an involuntary step back. "You got this, Izuku." Akira cheered him on, getting a nod from the other two.

Izuku deadpanned at his friends before charging up 25% and rushing towards his opponent. A barrage of knives began to assault him, but a single kick shattered them, causing the villain to lose his holding. Open in the air, Izuku again rushed forward. Left. Right. Down.

"Uppercut…" The greenette pounced upwards and sent the villain into the sky before gracefully landing on the ground. "Ha!"

Bakugou and Todoroki looked on with astonishment. "We were fighting him off for ages…" Todoroki said.

"Tch." Bakugou scoffed. "I could've done the same if you just let me attack." He argued against Todoroki before turning to Izuku. "But thanks for the assist… I guess."

Though surprised, Akira didn't let the blonde's kind comment distract them from their main objective. "Alright, now that we've got you two, I think we should make our way back to camp."

"Keep a tight formation." Todoroki said. "We don't want to risk any of us being caught."

The others nodded, reluctantly in Bakugou's case, and they all made their way back to camp.

Forest, 5 minutes later

Akira, without use of his quirk, launched himself at the blonde schoolgirl he saw pinning his girlfriend to the floor before sending her away with a dropkick.

"Hands off, blondie!" The black-haired teen said, standing protectively in front of Uraraka.

The aforementioned blonde shook herself off before looking between Akira and Uraraka. "Aww, looks like she's taken already." She then spotted a tired Izuku sporting a slightly bruised and bloodied body. "Ooohh, you look fun though!" The girl put something in her back-pocket and they could all tell she was smiling behind her mask. "I'll see you all soon enough, buh-bye now!" Without another word, she disappeared into the forest.

Sensing the threat leave – rather quickly, actually – Izuku immediately went to check on his friends. "Are you girls okay?" He asked.

Behind him, Shoji and Todoroki both stepped out from the bushes. "Is everything alright?" The former asked, now carrying the passed out 1B student on his back. "Who was that girl?"

"Definitely someone with a blood quirk." Akira thought aloud while healing Uraraka and Tsu. "…Or kink."

Todoroki nodded at his assessment. "Or both."

Tsu deadpanned at them before focusing herself. "What are you four doing here? Weren't you supposed to head back to camp?"

"Well, yes." Izuku started. "But I could feel that you… guys…" He suddenly stopped himself as he registered what Tsu said. "Four?" The greenette turned around and his eyes widened.

His other three male classmates also had their eyes wide as they looked around and a small panic set inside them. "Where's Bakugou and Tokoyami?" Akira asked.

A loud – and somewhat annoying – laugh answered his question and the gathered teens followed its source to a masked man standing on top of a tree. "Over here!" The masked man shouted, blatantly giving away his position. "Your friends are right here in my clutch!" He held up two marbles and the students could only guess that they were Bakugou and Tokoyami. "They will make great assets to the League of Villains!"

Izuku's arm glowed fiercely and he punched in front of him, sending a powerful shockwave towards the villain. Said villain, surprisingly enough, graciously flipped over to another tree as the other exploded in a mess of splinters. 'Damn!' The greenette berated himself.

'Damn!' The masked villain, on the other hand, was very grateful that he dodged in time. Regaining his composure, he laughed. "Almost had me there!" His laugh was strained. "But I know when I'm not wanted, so I'll take the hint and leave." He took out another two marbles and threw them at the students. "Not without a parting gift, though!" A snap was heard and the two marbles broke before two Nomu appeared and began to fall towards the students.

One was a large dark-coloured Nomu, similar in size to the one at the USJ. It had buff, metallic arms and a technological exoskeleton on its back. The other was a burgundy coloured Nomu of the same size and visible jet holes in their soles, palms, and back.

"Shit!" Akira's eyes widened and he shot towards Uraraka. "Dive!"

Shoji held on to the 1B student on his back while simultaneously creating more arms to grab Tsu and Todoroki.

Izuku, however, stood his ground and punched his fists together, restricting 20% of One For All into them. "Come on then!" High from his previous fights, the greenette wasn't intimidated by two Nomu. "Show me what you got!"

The burgundy Nomu's back suddenly revved before it fell faster towards Izuku, fist outstretched. However, Izuku met the beast's blow with his own, stopping it immediately. From behind him, Akira had gotten up and jumped over Izuku before spinning in the air and delivering a spin kick to the Nomu's face, knocking it back into the other Nomu.

Todoroki got up and slid in front of his two friends before his left side lit up and he thrust his arm forward. A pillar of flames shot towards the Nomu but the dark one thrust his arms forward and they transformed into shields. The heterochromatic teen, however, didn't let up his assault which allowed for Izuku and Akira to strafe around the sides.

Izuku slid around to the dark one and gave it an uppercut in the face before spin kicking it upwards and flying after it.

Meanwhile, Akira was spinning around the burgundy Nomu before sending three consecutive right hooks to its face. The Nomu tried to use its jets to propel itself back into battle but Todoroki had slid around to it and jumped on the beast's back before freezing the jets shut. Akira smiled and took the opportunity to charge up his quirk. Golden cracks began to appear along his arm and he jumped towards the Nomu's chest before hitting it directly where its heart should've been, causing it to pass out immediately.

Behind them, the dark Nomu crashed into the ground with Izuku slamming a large hammer into its head. "Good job, guys." He said with a smile, dusting himself off. "We make a great team." Looking closer at the downed Nomu, they could see one of its arms was missing and the other was smashed in.

"Well…." Akira slowly started, getting over his slight disturbance. "We gotta catch up to the masked guy, who knows how far he could've gone."

Izuku started floating and held out his arms. "Alright then, Akira, Todoroki, grab on and we'll chase after him."

The two nodded and quickly grabbed on. "Shoji." Akira said, getting the multi-armed teen's attention. "Can I count on you to get the others back to camp?"

Shoji nodded. "You got it class rep."

"We'll be back soon." Todoroki said in his usual tone, but with a small smile.

Without another word, Izuku shot off.

Forest

'That kid wasn't normal.' The masked villain thought to himself, jumping through the night air. 'Scratch that, none of them were what I thought they'd be.' His mind flashed to the flames and golden light he saw while leaving. 'They're even better.'

"Hey, asshole!" A shout behind him made his eyes widen.

"Oh, fuck o-"

Forest Clearing

"Where's Mr Compress?" The scarred villain asked, hands stuffed in his black jacket. "He should've been here by-"

*CRASH*

Another villain with a full body suit jumped up ecstatically. "There he is!" His mood, however, instantly dropped in the next second. "And he's found new friends."

"Ooh! It's you!" The blonde girl from earlier cooed, looking at Izuku lustfully. "Can I stab you?"

"Nope." The scarred villain said, hands out. "Because there won't be anything left to cut." A torrent of blue flames suddenly shot out of his hands towards the kids.

Akira's eyes flashed gold and his hands glowed before he slapped them together. The incoming fire parted around him and his friends and they all jumped back. Next to him, Todoroki quickly lit up his left side and threw his own torrent of flames outward. However, the scarred villain easily diminished it with a wave of blue fire.

Mr Compress used the window to escape and quickly rolled away from the hero students.

The crazy villain – wait, they all are – the bipolar villain suddenly created two Nomu similar to the ones the students faced earlier. "Try these on for size!" He said with a maniacal tone before bowing. "Good luck!"

Izuku and the two Nomu rushed each other and the greenette smirked. Reaching for the dark Nomu, Izuku ripped off its arm, which had transformed into a hammer, and pounded the now one-armed Nomu and his weapon into mush… literally. The other Nomu revved its body jets and shot towards Izuku but fighting with Bakugou and Iida more than prepared him enough for its attack. He quickly flipped over the crimson Nomu before punching both of his arms backwards and stomping the beast into the ground.

The gathered villains looked at Izuku with surprise and slight apprehension. Apprehension suddenly became fear as he turned to look at him with a presence they've only ever felt from one other person, and they hadn't even met him in person.

"That's enough playing around." A new voice called, snapping everyone out of their stupor. Purple mist suddenly started to sprout around the area and two glowing yellow eyes made themselves known. "Shigaraki wishes to wait no longer; do you have the Bakugou boy?" Kurogiri asked.

Mr Compress recomposed himself before he removed his mask and stuck out his tongue. "Yes, we do, Mist Man." He said before placing his mask back on.

"Good." A number of portals appeared and the villains began to disappear. "I'll see you back at the base." Without another word, Kurogiri disappeared.

Izuku, Akira, and Todoroki all looked at the last two remaining villains with wide eyes. "No!"

"Sorry, but you just weren't fast enou-" Mr Compress's insults were cut off as a blue beam of light hit his mask and blew the marbles out of his mouth.

Looking to the source, they saw a tired and bruised Aoyama standing with his hands out. "Your Nomu…" He started. "Ruined my hair." It was true, the blonde boy's usually smooth hair was frizzled and standing on edge.

A rush of green leapt over him before Ragdoll suddenly appeared in front of Mr Compress. "And it almost recked my face!" She punched him in the stomach, making him double over. "I'm trying to get married!" The pro snatched a marble from the air and flipped away.

"Damn." The scarred villain said, missing Ragdoll with his blue flames. "You idiot." He reprimanded his teammate. "Release the marbles; you better hope we have the right one or I'm burning you."

Mr Compress sulked as he snapped his fingers. "Stupid… my show has been ruined." With that, he entered the portal and disappeared.

In front of the scarred villain, Bakugou suddenly appeared. With Ragdoll, Tokoyami suddenly appeared and dropped onto her. "Well, at least the main objective was a success." The scarred man placed a hand around Bakugou's neck and another in front of himself. "I hope I never have to see any of you again, but I know that's wishful thinking." A blue flame suddenly appeared in his open palm. "So I'll make your faces look more interesting for next time."

Akira had an idea of what was going to happen and got ready to make another wind gust. Next to him, Todoroki's right side was already chilling over. However, neither of them continued with their defense as they saw a rush of green and red shoot over to Bakugou. Izuku had rushed forward and taken the blue flames head on before pushing both himself, Bakugou, and the villain through the portal.

"Shit!" The remaining hero students all rushed to the portal, their quirks enhancing their speed. But it mattered not as the purple mist of Kurogiri's portal disappeared into the wind, taking Izuku and Bakugou with it.

No one moved. No one could. They were gone. They had… failed.

A Semi-Decent Bar

Izuku felt pain on the left half of his face. It was burning. Searing. His grunts permeated the silent air as the villains around him simply watched on without care or with glee. However, most of them still were slightly one edge seeing him. He didn't look like he was in much pain, and he had just had the left side of his face burnt like crispy bacon.

Shigaraki wasn't scared though. "Midoriya." The villain's hoarse voice invaded Izuku's ears and he could tell he was close. "I told you we'd meet again, didn't I?" He seemed more maniacal then last time if that were even possible.

The blonde girl from before cooed and Izuku internally sighed. "He looks kinda cute like that." Rattling metal followed her statement and the greenette could only assume it was knives. "Can we keep him?" That wasn't weird at all.

However, their comments were cut off as the sounds of mini explosions rang in the bar. "Stay away from him." Bakugou threatened, holding his hands up to each of the villains. "One move and I blow this bitch to kingdom come."

"Try it." The scarred villain dared, raising his hand. "And you'll-"

"Dabi." Shigaraki quickly put his hand – with a pinkie raised – over the scarred villain's arm. "We need this one." The blue flame user slowly dropped his arm. "We'll just restrain him."

Bakugou scoffed. "Did you hear me?" He asked. "One move and you're all-"

Magne hit the explosive teen in the back of his head with her magnet. "Wow, he was annoying." She said, putting her magnet away. "It's not even anything he says, guy just has a douchebag aura."

The other villains laughed in agreement before the sound of a ringtone filled the air. "It's sensei." Kurogiri said, moving the call to the bar's screen. "He's awake."

The villains quickly adjusted themselves and stood at attention and Izuku became apprehensive of the silence. This sensei had to be All For One. Only a villain like him could evoke an aura of fear so thick that even crazed villains stiffen at the mention of him.

As the voice of the embodiment of evil permeated the air, Izuku didn't feel the fear he thought he would. "Kurogiri." He sounded… tired? "The Doctor told me that you and Tomura have executed a rather ambition operation." And scarily familiar. "Was your operation a success?"

"Yes, sensei." Kurogiri answered immediately. "We invaded Yuuei's training camp and stole a student of theirs that has potential to be a valuable asset to our league." His eyes shifted over to Izuku. "And another one of our members brought along a second valuable hostage."

All For One hummed in what seemed like… surprise. "Yuuei… Tomura." The man's voice made even Shigaraki's posture straighten. "Who is the second hostage that you captured?" Izuku stiffened. "And which one of you captured them?"

Shigaraki's attitude remained to normal as he turned to Izuku. "This is Izuku Midoriya, sensei." He bragged with a small laugh at the end. "And Dabi was the one that caught him."

"Izuku… Midoriya?" All For One's voice was… strangely lost. "Dabi?"

"He's been asleep for a long time, Tomura Shigaraki." Kurogiri reminded the crusty man child. "It's been over a year since he last awoke."

'Over a year?' Izuku was confused. 'But the Nomu… were they not him?' Inner Izuku one and two both looked at their drawing board and shrugged. 'He doesn't even know his own members.'

Shigaraki… wait is he bowing? "I'm sorry, sensei." He's what? "Dabi is one of our newest members, he's a flame user." Said villain stood still, unwilling to move. "And Izuku Midoriya is the one who's been killing all my good summons, him and his stupid friends."

"Show me him." All For One asked. Though, with how fast Izuku was hoisted up to his feet, one could've thought he demanded it.

Izuku opened his eyes and stared at a blank screen with an audio symbol. 'Not surprising.' He thought to himself. 'If All Might looked as bad as he did when he won…' The greenette didn't want to think about it.

"What's wrong with him?" The man demanded this time. "Why is he burnt?" Before he sounded tired, now he sounded like he was on five cups of coffee.

All the villains seemed surprised at his sudden change in demeanour, but none called him out on it. None. "Well, sensei, Da-"

"Kurogiri, warp him to me now." All For One said.

Kurogiri faltered slightly. "Pardon, sensei?" He didn't know if he was being serious or not.

"Don't make me ask again." The man's voice took an edge that made everyone flinch. "Warp. Now"

The purple mist bowed immediately. "Apologies, sensei." His form expanded and Izuku was quickly whisked away. "It is done."

A grunt was heard on the other side of the line and All For One ended their transmission. "Goodbye."

What he left behind were a group of confused and rattled villains with the same thought on their minds. 'What the fuck?'
