|Chapter 19: A Twist of Events

Hospital Near Training Camp

Akira, Mina, Tokoyami, Todoroki, Kirishima, and Ochako all sat around Momo's hospital bed as the onyx-haired girl recounted her encounters in the forest. They had all come to her after she mentioned she knew exactly where Izuku and Bakugou were being held.

"And then I shot the bastard with a tracking bullet!" Momo exclaimed, changing her arm into a gun before changing it back. "So that's how I know where Midoriya and Bakugou reside." She finished in her more regal tone.

The others had taken a step back from her bed at seeing her gun but sat back down after she went back to normal. "So…" Akira started, slightly scared. "Are you willing to help us in going on our own rescue mission to get them back?" He asked.

Momo suddenly became serious and looked Akira in the eyes. "Hikaru, as you know, the pros were already in here and I provided them with a receiver that corresponds to my bullet, meaning that they are working on the case and will be handling it." Akira hung his head at her statement. "Only a crazy person would go behind the back of pro heroes to do their jobs for them."

"…I understand, Yaomo-"

"So it's a good thing I'm insane." The heiress finished, shifting her serious face into a smile.

The others looked at Momo with wide eyes before they smiled and all gave her a group hug. "Thank you, Yaomomo!" They all exclaimed.

The majority of Class 1A had all been moved to this hospital immediately after the events in the forest. It was here that Kirishima had proposed an idea to Akira about a rescue mission for Izuku and Bakugou. Immediately after, the black-haired teen agreed and called a class meeting to discuss the plans with the others, sans Momo, Jirou, and Hagakure, who were all either resting or unconscious.

Unfortunately for him, not everyone wanted to take to the plan. While the others wanted to, they thought that the pros would do a better job than they could. Tsu had driven that point home when she said unlicensed actions of vigilantism based on feeling is basically being a villain. Everyone had stood down after her statement and only the seven present were going on the rescue mission.

"You're the best, Yaomomo!" Mina said to the onyx-haired heiress. "We seriously didn't know what we were going to do without you."

Ochako nodded next to her. "Yeah, you're the only one with major surveillance abilities since Jirou is out and Shoji has abstained from the group." She said. "So you were kind of our last hope."

"I'm happy to help!" Momo exclaimed before techno-plating covered the palm of her hand and a hologram shot out of it. "Based on this informa-"

"Woah!" Kirishima interrupted, a sparkle in his eyes. "What the heck is this?!" He asked in amazement.

Momo looked at him with a raised eyebrow. "A three-dimensional holographic depiction of the surroundings of the Nomu I shot." She explained nonchalantly while pointing at the red dot in the middle of the hologram. "And the Nomu I shot."

"That is extremely impressive." Tokoyami and Todoroki praised in their monotone voices.

Akira looked at the heiress confused. "How are you even making all this; have you had any food?"

Momo simply pointed to her left to one of the hospital machines around her. "My parents paid for me to always have a feeding tube for whenever I go to the hospital due to my quirk." She explained. "I can make a multitude of constructs right now and be fine."

"Right…" Akira drawled before shaking his head. "Anyway, what were you saying about the map?"

The heiress turned back to the hologram. "Right, based on the information, the Nomu I shot is in the outskirts of the Kamino Ward."

"That's only a small train ride from here!" Mina exclaimed.

"And based on them using that as a Nomu warehouse, we can assume it's a low population area." Akira said, observing the surrounding buildings. "So it'd only be us and an unknown number of Nomu."

The others were silent for a moment before shrugging. "Eh, could be worse." Uraraka said.

"It will be night when we go, Dark Shadow can take care of them." Tokoyami added.

"I'll just melt 'em." Mina finished.

"Alright then!" Momo exclaimed. "We have a plan, we know our objective, and we now have a location!" The hologram flickered and disappeared and the plating on her hand was absorbed back into her body.

Todoroki looked at her confused. "Wait, what's the plan?"

"Did we make a proper one yet?" Kirishima asked, tilting his head.

Momo nodded with a grin. "We raise hell…"

Kamino Ward, All For One's Hideout

All For One felt a slight shiver go up his spine before shaking his head. 'Focus, man.' He was in front of an operating table with Izuku hooked up to multiple medical devices. "Almost there…" His hands glowed a light gold and were around the greenette's left eye before he stopped. "Done." The scar on the teen's face wasn't pretty, but it was leagues better than what it would've been if he hadn't done something.

As the man stood back to clean himself off, Izuku's consciousness returned to him. 'Ugh… where am I?' The greenette thought as his eye drifted around his hazy surroundings. "Is this a hospital?" He whispered.

At the sound of his voice, All For One let his hands run through his curly white hair and sighed in relief. "Thank Kami…" He breathed out before turning around and to see Izuku looking at him directly in his red eyes.

The two of them stayed still, frozen in their positions. Izuku's emerald eyes trailed around those of the man in front of him before his brain finished rendering everything that had happened to him.

"All For One…?" Despite the supposed villain that was in front of him, Izuku couldn't feel Danger Sense's sharp jabs at his head.

"All For One?" The white-haired elder laughed out. "Have you really forgotten your old man's name?"

All For One was his father…? All For One was Hisashi Midoriya.

Izuku's brain suddenly burst with memories as the voice in front of him activated something inside of him and a purple aura spiralled around his head before shattering. A hole in his life memories that always seemed to be void was suddenly filled with pictures of the white-haired man in front of him and his mother holding him and a tear dripped down his eye.

"Dad?" The greenette asked in a quiet tone.

Hisashi's eyes also filled with tears as he nodded at his son. "Hey, son." He chuckled. "Been a while, hasn't it?"

Without another word, Izuku burst forward into his dad's chest with wide arms, ripping out all of the medical equipment inside of him. "Dad!"

The white-haired man caught his son and hugged him back tightly while laughing heartily. "You remember me!" He exclaimed. "If you had called me All For One again…" His voice suddenly trailed off as he paused. "Wait, how do you know that name?"

Izuku moved his head away from his father's shoulder looked at him in confusion. "All Might told me about your quirk." He explained. "All For One; the antithesis of One For All."

Hisashi's eyes widened. "How do you know about One For All?" He asked.

Izuku raised an eyebrow as he lifted his arm and let the energy of One For All run through it. "It's my quirk." He stated.

All For One stared at his son's arm and could feel the familiar energy of his late brother's quirk permeate the air. "It can't be." He placed his palm on Izuku's head and felt around his quirk factor before confirming the facts. "But… that doesn't make any sense."

Izuku's face dawned in realisation as he remembered what Shigaraki said in the bar. "Oh, yeah, All Might gave me the quirk after he made me his successor." He sheepishly rubbed the back of his neck. "I forgot you've been asleep for a while."

Hisashi put the greenette down and moved to a large rocking chair before placing both hands over his face and rocking back and forth. "No." He shook his head.

Izuku nodded. "Yeah, he transferred it to me by making me eat his hair." He cringed as he remembered the memory. "I actually would've taken the risk of a blood transfer if I'm being honest, he used too much shampoo."

All For One also cringed before shaking his head. "One, gross." The greenette nodded in agreement with him. "Two, I perfectly understand how One For All is transferred." He explained. "What I don't understand, is why I couldn't feel your quirk when I touched you."

The greenette looked at his father with a lost expression. "Umm… maybe you can't feel One For All since it's not mine… from a biological standpoint."

The white-haired man shook his head again. "No, not that, I meant your quirk." He said, freezing Izuku. "I can feel One For All, but I couldn't find your quirk anywhere in there."

Izuku didn't move for a moment and simply stared at his father with a flat face. "I don't have a quirk of my own, dad…" He said slowly. "I'm quirkless…"

All For One looked at him like he was crazy. "No, you had a quirk, a bloody great one at that." His words made Izuku freeze again and the inner Izuku's took over his processing. "Your quirk was Power Sharing, honestly one of the best quirks you could've gotten as a result of mine and your mother's." He said before he began to explain. "You used to be able to use the quirks of the other people around you or let others use the quirk of others; I figured it out after taking it temporarily and testing it to make sure it was safe for you after you copied the young Bakugou's boy firework quirk."

The greenette's mind suddenly exploded once more as his father's words activated memories of his past and images of a younger him flashed through his mind. "Bakugou…" His mind again caught up to the situation and he shook his head. "Bakugou!" He looked straight at his father. "You have to warp him over here, dad!" Izuku shouted. "They're probably torturing him!"

All For One shook his head. "They're not torturing him." He reassured. "Tomura knows not to hurt 'potential allies' and he'd disintegrate anyone that'd try to stop his ideas once he's put them in motion." His eyes drifted over to his computer screen and he shrugged. "But I guess I shouldn't give them the chance." The computer automatically began to ring as he used a technology-based quirk to use it.

"Hello, Sensei." The phone was picked up almost immediately and the picture of the bar was shown to the two Midoriya men. "Was there something you required?" Kurogiri was the only one visible and was apparently on guard duty while he cleaned out his glasses.

Hisashi held up a finger to Izuku and had a mischievous grin on his face. "Yes, Kurogiri, I'd like to know the progress on the Bakugou boy, will he be joining us?" His voice took on a heavy edge and Izuku felt a small bit of fear inside of him.

"" The other side was silent for a moment before All For One coughed. "I will be truthful, Sensei, I regret to inform you that it is not going well." He admitted. "It seems as though he isn't as volatile that Tomura Shigaraki had assumed. He also has an unforeseen… emotional attachment keeping him on the side of heroes."

"I see." Hisashi replied, trying to hold in his laughter. "…Send him here."

Kurogiri visibly sputtered and he dropped one of his glasses before quickly opening a portal and catching. "Pardon, Sensei?" Putting down the clean glass.

"Send. Him. Here." All For One repeated slowly. "Time is sensitive, so I will turn the Bakugou into a useful tool." He explained. "Or do I have to warp him here myself?" Off to the side, he saw Izuku's eyes widen with a sparkle and he put a finger in front of his smile.

Kurogiri quickly bowed. "Of course, Sensei." He put out his arm to Bakugou and a portal opened beneath him and the blonde disappeared.

Next to Izuku's hospital bed, Bakugou suddenly appeared through a cloudy purple mist and was startled awake as his chair landed on the ground. "AH! What the hell is happening?"

"Thank you, Kurogiri." All For One said, undoing Bakugou's restraints with a wave of his hand. "Goodbye for now." Without waiting for a reply, he ended the call. Afterwards, he let out a small chuckle. "Haha, easy as always!" He exclaimed.

Izuku laughed at his dad's actions. "Guess I got worried over nothing."

Hisashi walked up to his son and patted his head. "That worrying nature is just like your mother's, it's part of what makes you a good person." His fingers stayed in Izuku's hair and played with his curls. 'Just like mine.'

Off to the side, Bakugou watched their interaction with no small amount of confusion. "Umm… Hello?" Despite being out of his restraints, he felt no reason to attack or cause a fuss. "Can I be clued into what the hell is happening?"

All For One's eyes drifted to Bakugou and he adopted a confused expression. "You as well?" His voice made the blonde freeze. "Uncle Hisashi ring a bell?"

Bakugou stayed frozen for a moment before he dropped to his knees and held his head. "What the hell… is happening…" A purple aura gathered around his head before it shattered and wisped off into nothing. "Uncle Hisashi." He breathed out.

"That's better." Hisashi grinned before he telekinetically moved Bakugou's body over to another hospital bed. "Weird… neither of you remembered me." He turned to his computer and began searching the web.

Bakugou turned to Izuku and looked at his eyes. "Your quirk…"

'Not now.' Izuku mouthed to him.

"Ah, yes, your quirk." All For One said, turning away from his google search of 'why don't my kids remember me?' "I didn't take it; I'd be able to feel the quirk of every single Nomu in this warehouse if I did." The two teens' gaze shifted to the tubes holding Nomu and they tensed. "Trust me, I don't like them either."

"Wait, what do you mean take?" Bakugou asked, immediately picking up on the man's wording. "You can't take quirks; your quirk is fire breathing."

Hisashi levelled the blonde teenager with a raised eyebrow before lifting his right arm. Immediately, it turned to ice before evaporating and being consumed with fire and a number of small object gravitated around it. "I guess I have to catch you up to speed on who I am." His gaze turned to Izuku and he thought before adding. "Actually, I think we all have some sharing to do."

Hours Later

"So…" Bakugou pointed at Izuku. "All Might gave you his quirk, which he got from someone else, who got it from someone else, all the way down to Uncle Hisashi's brother." The blonde restated slowly. "And your original quirk disappeared, not by means of your father, who has the power to give and take quirks as he pleases." He got a nod from both Midoriya men and held his hands in front of his face. "And Uncle Hisashi was born over a century ago and was the Wraith of the Dark Age of Quirks."

Hisashi chuckled embarrassedly. "Not a title I'm proud of." He said, rubbing the back of his neck sheepishly. "But yes, that's more or less an extremely simplified version of what we've explained to you three times now."

Izuku chuckled. "Yeah, and I'm only All Might's successor because dad injured him in a figh-" He cut himself off as he remembered what his father had done. "Hold on, you crippled All Might!"

All For One looked at his son with a tilted head. "Um…. No I didn't." The man argued. "The last fight I ever had was over three decades ago, maybe four." He rubbed his head. "And I can barely remember anything from that fight, only that it knocked me out for months and I've been sleeping for months at a time for the past few years with only a few days of being awake in between."

Bakugou finally digested the information he was given and connected it to every strange event that's happened so far this year. "That means that you didn't create the weird Nomu-fuckers." He suddenly said, his ideas finally finding their way to his mouth. "Or orchestrate any League of DumbassTM attacks so far this year."

Hisashi nodded. "I'll be honest, I've been out of my element for decades." He admitted. "I have no idea where the Nomu came from, I don't even know how they could've been made without my quirk." His mind tried to rustle ideas. "I can't even remember wanting to form a League of Villains; I've wanted to be out of this 'hero and villain' game for years."

"Wait, then who fought All Might?" Izuku asked, remembering his Mentor's injury and story. "He said that he got a life threatening injury killing you; did someone clone you or something?" That idea wasn't out of the ballpark, not after seeing the bipolar villain make two Nomu in mere seconds. "Or did someone duplicate your quirk and pretend to be you?"

"I don't know…" Hisashi said, scratching his head. "But that's a problem for another time."

"Yeah, what are we going to do now?" Bakugou cut in. "That should be our main priority right now."

Hisashi looked at him confused before it clicked in his head. "Hmm…" His eyes trailed outside and saw that nightfall was upon them. "Well, the heroes are no doubt going to try and rescue you two." He explained. "And I can feel that someone placed a tracker on one of these Nomu." Said Nomu was suddenly lifted out of its tank as the white-haired man stuck out his hand and brought it towards him.

Despite its being much bigger than the two teens, it was much smaller in All For One's grasp. Seeing this size comparison, Izuku and Bakugou couldn't help but thank every star in the sky for making Hisashi a reformed villain. 'Thank you.'

"Hmmm…" All For One held the tracker in his hand and looked it over before sitting down back on his own bed. "I suppose we can just wait for them to come and get you two." He shrugged, placing the tracker on his bedside table.

"But won't they arrest you?" Izuku asked worriedly.

"I've outlived all sentences they could've possibly given me." All For One reassured. "And besides, I have recordings of me here asleep for any and all crimes that they may try to point to me." He sighed and laid back on his bed. "I just want to retire and see my dear wife again."

Izuku suddenly remembered his mother and his face brightened. "We'll get to be a family again!" He exclaimed. "What was it like meeting Ma?" His expression changed and he was on the edge of his bed, staring intently at his father.

"I'd like that answered too, actually." Bakugou admitted, sitting up. "How in the world did the Boogey-Man get married to Auntie?"

Hisashi smiled. "Alright, it all started when-" He stopped as his proximity quirks warned him of multiple new presences outside the building. Sticking out his hands, he quickly summoned Izuku and Bakugou towards him and held them close to his chest before conjuring a force field.

Just as he did, the roof of the building came down and reduced everything to rubble. The Nomu tanks were destroyed and the mindless beasts emerged with a screech. However, they were immediately silenced as a number of figures and threads rushed from all angles.

"The Nomu Factory…" A calm voice called. "Is under our control." It was the Number Four Hero of Japan: Best Jeanist.

The other pro heroes looked around the factory and smiled at their work. "Huh, this was way easier than I thought it'd be." Mt. Lady said in surprise, looking around the rubble.

Gang Orca caught the heads of two Nomu running at him and smashed them together. "I admit, I was also expecting more." He dropped the two unconscious creatures on the ground and looked around. "Ragdoll, you have anything?"

"Oh, yeah, I got three people behind there!" The emerald-haired hero exclaimed, pointing behind a bed.

Best Jeanist immediately raised his arm and the bed was thrown away, revealing Hisashi with his arms on Izuku and Bakugou's shoulders. "Villain!" The man quickly threw both of his hands up and the two boys suddenly felt a number of threads wrap around them before being pulled away.

"Wait!" Hisashi stuck his arms out to the boys but Gang Orca blitzed in front of him and caught him off-guard with a soundwave. "Crap." The man's defensive instincts kicked in and multiple quirks activated, throwing everyone away and destroying the surroundings. "Crap…." All For One looked around him and smiled as his multiple sensor quirks gave him good news. 'Oh, they're all okay, good.' A large foot coming down made his smile fade.

"Mountain Drop!" Mt. Lady brought her foot down in an axe kick but scowled as she saw the white-haired man block it. "Peak Press!" She took her foot away before winding back her fist and sending it forward.

'Great.' All For One thought as he blocked her hit with ease. 'How am I supposed to clear this up?'

"All For One!" The loud voice made the man's straight face turn to a pout as All Might made his presence known. "You're getting sloppy, old man, you haven't even killed anyone." His eyes widened as he saw his old enemy's face. "And it seems you washed off the makeover I gave you."

'Wait, did he kill other-me by smashing my face in?' Hisashi wondered before multiple shield quirks automatically activated as All Might tried to punch him. "Wait, let me explain!"

All Might laughed and took a back step. "Explain what, villain?" He asked with a scowl. "No… I killed you once." Golden lightning began to spiral around his form and his blue eyes glowed brightly. "I'll do it again."

The large blonde rushed forward and his fist was caught in Hisashi's grasp. Undaunted, All Might used the man's arm as a swing before bringing his foot around to his face, knocking him back slightly.

'Not good.' Unexperienced against the blonde giant in front of him and only having a day of being awake, Hisashi could only barely block the onslaught of hits that came his way. 'I can't protect myself without hurting him.' And that was the last thing he wanted to do.

All Might suddenly kicked off of Hisashi's chest, putting him in the air, before turning around and punching the air. "New Hampshire Smash!" His large and weighty body suddenly smashed back into the white-haired man and he sent them both into the ground.

'Oh my stars this man weighs so much!' Hisashi thought as he felt his ribs break, heal, and break again under All Might's form.

"No! Stop!" Izuku shouted, struggling in Best Jeanist's threads. "Let me go!"

Best Jeanist shook his head. "Don't worry, young one, All Might will take care of him."

His reassurance did nothing to stop the greenette's thrashing. "That's the problem, he's about to kill my dad!" Izuku tried to summon One For All but felt something pull it back to his core. "Come on!"

"No more will die!" All Might grabbed Hisashi's leg and began to slam him into the ground before throwing him up in the air again. "Detroit Smash!" He jumped high in the air before throwing a fist that the white-haired man only barely caught. "Got you." Heaving hard, All Might brought the two back down to the ground with a hard slam.

'Not again.' Hisashi thought as he activated every force-absorption quirk he had, only just saving himself from a broken back. 'Could've been worse.' The large form of the symbol of peace rose above him and he gulped. 'Never mind.'

"Huh, you're out of your element." All Might said as he stood above the white-haired Midoriya on the ground. "This is for everyone you've ever hurt!" He raised back his fist and punched Hisashi's raised arms. "This is for my students!" His punch got harder and broke the man's arms apart. "And this… is for Nana!"

"No!" Izuku, fuelled by all the power of One For All, escaped from Best Jeanist's threads and burst in front of his dad instantaneously. "Don't hurt him!" His arrival, however, was too fast for All Might to register. "He's my father!" Further, his body had given him too much power, leaving his broken body in front of his father as a shield.

"No!" Hisashi exclaimed as All Might's fist collided with Izuku's body, creating a shockwave that blew everybody back again, All Might included.

The dust from the shockwave finally settled and all the heroes groggily stood up from their place in the rubble. Looking back to the source of the shockwave, their eyes widened in shock. Standing in front of the villain they had been fighting, stood Izuku Midoriya, bloodied and broken.

"Oh no…." Best Jeanist breathed out, his knees failing him.

Ragdoll put her paws in front of her face as tears filled her eyes. "Midoriya…"

Off to the side, behind a wall, a certain group of Yuuei students stood still, unable to move.

"Izuku…" Mina could barely feel her lungs as heavy breaths escaped her.

"Izuku…" Akira felt the world crash down on him as he watched his best friend's eyes roll back in his head.

"Izuku…" Dark Shadow put a comforting hand around Tokoyami as the raven-boy felt his throat tighten and eyes burn.

"Ugh…" Hisashi coughed and looked up to find his son's broken body in front of him defensively. "Izuku!" The greenette fell at the sound of his father's voice and the man quickly stood up to catch him. "No, no, no, no!" A river of tears formed in the man's eyes as the gravity of the situation fell on him. "Son! Son, wake up!" He held his son as if he were a newborn baby and placed a hand on his chest, not feeling a heartbeat. "My baby boy!" His knees buckled beneath him but he quickly activated every healing quirk he had.

All Might looked on in distraught at the scene ahead of him. 'No…' His own river of tears began to form and he too dropped to his knees.

"Please, son, don't do this!" Hisashi continued to try and heal him, and his tears began to mix with the blood of his son. "Izuku!" His cries echoed throughout the battlefield and shook the ground.

"Izuku!" Akira suddenly felt his body working again and made himself known to all present, jumping out from behind the wall. "Shit!" He quickly slid over to the man holding Izuku and eyed him warily. "What are you doing?" He asked, observing the light golden glow around him.

"I'm trying to heal him!" Hisashi yelled, making Akira flinch back. "But my healing quirks aren't working!" His tears were flowing like waterfalls. "His body is too hurt for me!"

While the man's admittance to owning multiple quirks tipped Akira off to who he was, the man's distraught and desperation made him look past it. "Move." Akira said, placing his own hands on Izuku. "I can do this."

A much brighter golden glow surrounded the black-haired teen's hands as he surveyed the damage done to his friend. 'No…' His quirk could feel the light of his friend fading quickly, no heartbeat, no breaths, a death-like state. He quickly looked to the man in front of him and decided to trust his friend's actions. "You're Izuku's dad, right?" Though initially caught off guard, the-white haired man nodded. "Then put your hand on my shoulder and let me use your energy to heal him."

Hisashi nodded instantly, placing one of his hands on Akira's shoulder while keeping his other on Izuku's chest. "Please, anything, just save him." Tears were still rolling down his face.

"Let me help." All Might suddenly cut in, walking up to them. "Please, I'll give all I have." He wiped away his own tears and put his hands on Akira's shoulder, his body flowing with the power of One For All. "Take it all, just heal him!"

"Me too." Bakugou said, landing in front of them. "I know I've been a piece of shit these last few years!" He exclaimed, tears forming in his eyes. "But at least let me do this!" His hand went to Akira's shoulder.

The black-haired teen eyed the explosive blonde warily before he slowly nodded. "Fine." His eyes glowed golden as the full power of his quirk was brought forward. "Hn…." He focused on the three beings helping him and began to draw every ounce of energy he could take. From Hisashi, a large rainbow of wisps began to flow out of his body and a similar amount of golden and orange wisps spiralled out of All Might and Bakugou respectively before they all centred around Akira. "Here we go." The wind picked up around them violently, and a blinding light flashed before a golden wave of energy imploded around them.

Everyone felt the wave but it had no negative effects, if anything, they felt any and all fatigue melt away and a new strength within them blossomed for a moment.

Back with Akira, he opened his eyes and saw Izuku's body rejuvenated. "Izuku!" His hands pulsed with golden energy again and the greenette suddenly shot awake with a large intake of breath.

"Ah!" Izuku looked around him and saw his father, mentor, best friend, and ex-best friend staring at him with teary eyes. "What just happened?"

"Son!/Izuku!/Young Midoriya!" The three exclaimed, crushing the greenette's newly healed body with great strength. Bakugou, however, stood back and looked on with heavy breaths of relief.

All Might took a knee and put a hand on Izuku's shoulder. "I thought I killed you." Tears began to fall down his eyes and he sunk his head to the ground.

Hisashi put his hand on his son's other shoulder and also began to cry. "I couldn't protect you." He whispered. "I'm a failure of a father."

"Woah, woah!" Izuku began to flail his arms. "I'm fine, I'm fine." He suddenly noticed something with the two of them and his eyes widened slightly. "If anything, you two should be worried about yourselves."

The two men suddenly looked at each other and their eyes widened. All Might didn't seem as buff as he usually was, his costume ever so slightly sagging on his smaller form. Similarly, Hisashi's form also seemed to have shrunk, only just taller than All Might. 'Huh?'

The greenette looked at them confused. "What happened?"

"You died." Akira said, bringing attention to himself.

Izuku's eyes widened and he turned to his best friend. "I what?!" He exclaimed. "Oh my stars, am I a zombie?!"

The black-haired teen chuckled at his friend's antics and placed a hand on his shoulder. "No, you're not a zombie." He explained. "I took every ounce of power I could take from those two to help your body while you could still cling on to life." His eyes trailed to Bakugou. "And a smaller bit from blasty."

"Huh." Izuku seemed surprisingly calm. "So that's what that light was." He suddenly turned to his friend as their situation suddenly caught up to him. "Wait, what are you doing here?"

Akira chuckled and rubbed the back of his neck. "We came here to rescue you two." He said, pointing at Izuku and Bakugou.

The greenette instantly caught his choice of words. "We?"

"Katsuki!" Kirishima rushed out from where Akira had come from and instantly tackled the explosive blonde in a hug. "You idiot!" In a surprise show of affection, the red-haired teen began to pepper his friend's cheek with kisses.

Bakugou blushed heavily at the PDA but hugged the red-haired golden retriever back. "Get over it." He said to a staring Izuku and Akira. "You got your own romance problem incoming."

"Izuku!" The sweet sound of Mina's voice reached Izuku's ears and he spun around just in time to see her launch herself towards him.

"Mina!" The greenette caught the pink-skinned girl in his arms and he smiled widely. "You came to save me?" He asked with surprise. However, Mina looked up at him with tears in her eyes. "Woah, hey what's wrong?"

The usual happy ball of energy snivelled and hugged Izuku's chest tightly. "I thought I lost you!" She cried. "And I didn't even move to do anything!" Her tears stained Izuku's shirt and she wiped her face before resuming. "I don't want to keep hiding my feelings anymore! Not when I know you could die before I tell you!" Mina looked up at Izuku and grabbed his face. "I love you, you sweet, adorable, kind, amazing, cinnamon roll!"

Izuku looked down at her with surprise as her words registered in his head. 'Love?' A warm feeling within his chest that he hid blossomed and a large smile dawned on his face before he wrapped his arms around the pink-skinned girl's waist. "I love you too." He said with a sweet tone.

Mina blushed heavily and looked at him with wide eyes before moving his face into hers, crashing their lips together in a passionate display of love. The two closed their eyes as months of hidden feelings blossomed and they basked in its release.

Off to the side, Hisashi and All Might looked at Izuku with proud smiles. "That's my boy." They said at the same time before staring at each other.

"I suppose…" All Might started. "He is your boy." He admitted before he stared at the man in front of him seriously. "But don't think I'll ever be able to overlook what you did to Nana."

"I didn't do anything." Hisashi said, making All Might tilt his head in surprise. "The last fight I had was with a large, cloaked figure decades ago, one that I lost." He admitted. "Ever since then, I've been in and out of coma after coma." His hand lifted up and a broken computer screen floated to his hand. "I've been wanting to leave this villain and hero game since before then, here's the footage of me in my comas." The man took out a chip and handed it to the symbol of peace.

Said hero looked at him confused. "Then… who has been behind everything?" He asked.

Hisashi, in a rare show of uncertainty, shrugged. "For once, I don't know." His eyes trailed to Izuku holding Mina and he smiled. "But I think your students will be able to deal with the problem."

All Might also looked at his class and smiled at them. "Hmmm, we are old." He laughed out. "This game isn't for us anymore, especially not with this body." The large man pointed at his deflated form. "Maybe it's time we step down from our spots and let the new generation roll in." His eyes trailed to the news station vans that were appearing and an idea sprouted in his head. "Ah, good timing."

Dark Laboratory, Unknown Location

"And so, All Might has announced his retirement, giving the last of his power and energy to save the kidnapped Izuku Midoriya." A static voice from the T.V called. "We will always remember you, All Might. Thank you, for all-"

The T.V shut off as a fat man with glasses aimed his hand at it and destroyed it with a laser. "So he's officially out of the game." He looked to his left at the seven tubes to his left, each holding large, dark creatures. "It's finally time to move." His eyes shifted to the right and he viewed seven incubation pods from which shouts of agony and pain echoed.

"They will soon know Vengeance."
