When Magnia left the Medbay, she headed to Bumblebee's quarters, only to find them empty.

She spotted Jazz walking by and asked him, "Jazz, have you seen Bumblebee?"

He grinned in a friendly way, "Hey 'lil lady! Naw, I ain't seen him in a while."

"Ah. Thanks anyways, Jazz," she smiled a little. Jazz was the only bot that had been nice to her, besides Bee and Ratchet.

Jazz waved a cheery goodbye, and she continued on searching the base.

After asking many bots if they had seen him, to which most responded in an unpleasant manner, Magnia grew worried.

She exited the base and began searching for him in the nearby buildings, try to contact him through their bond. He didn't respond, and Magnia sighed and continued searching. This could take a while.

Nearly three days later, Magnia found him in one of the smaller buildings on the outskirts of Iacon. It seemed to be an office building, and she found him propped up against the wall of a cubicle.

"Bumblebee!" she said, relieved. "I've been looking for you everywhere!"

"...Why?" Bee mumbled. She noticed he had dark circles under his optics, and his normal bouncy energy was gone.

She frowned, "Are you okay?"

"I'm...fine."

Magnia narrowed her optics, "You are not. What's wrong?"

"Can't...recharge."

She sat down on the floor and scooted next to him, "Why not?"

"Don't...know," Bee closed his optics. "So...sorry...what I've...done to you...Magnia...unforgivable."

"I don't care, Bee," Magnia sighed. "I forgive you."

"No…" Bee shook his helm. "You...can't...you have to...hate me...killed your...father."

"Bumblebee, please," Magnia pleaded. "You have to forgive yourself. I'm telling you that I don't care if you killed him. In fact, I'm a little glad. Ratchet told me what he did to my mom, to our family." Magnia shook her helm, "You did me and everyone else he's hurt or was going to hurt a huge favor."

"Are you...sure?" Bee frowned. "You were...pretty...upset...about it."

"I know," she sighed. "I'm sorry I said that to you; it was a mean thing to say."

"Was...justified."

"Bumblebee, you are really not giving me anything here!" she laughed. "I forgive you! Just accept it already!"

"Fine…." Bee smiled wanly. "I'll...make it...up to you."

She studied him, "I have an idea to help you recharge."

"...What?"

Two minutes later, Bumblebee had his helm in Magnia's lap and he looked super weirded out.

"Would you relax?" she told him. "You're all stiff."

"Sorry…" he tried to relax.

Magnia began to stroke his helm and hum one of the common Cybertronian lullabies in their native language. The soothing chirps and whirrs began to relax Bumblebee, and he was soon deep in recharge in Magnia's lap.

She smiled quietly; she'd had a feeling that would work. She stayed for a few more hours until it grew dark, and then headed back to base, resolving to come back later with a pillow and some energon.

When she arrived, the entire base was in a panic. "Whoa, what's going on?" she yelled, and was surprised when everyone looked at her with fear.

"It's a Decepticon!" one of the humans shouted, and they began shooting at her with their tiny guns.

"What?" Magnia ducked. "I'm not a Decepticon!"

"Hold your fire!" a gruff voice called, and the humans obeyed as Ratchet came storming over. "She's with us."

"What's happening?" Magnia asked.

"I'll tell you in a moment," he said, ushering her towards the Medbay. "Get in the Medbay first."

Once she was in, and he had shut the door, he turned to her and sighed, "Magnia, now would be a good time to decide whether you are joining the Autobots."

"Why?" she frowned.

"Because Megatron is back."

Magnia gaped at him, "What? But...how?"

"It would appear Unicron is possessing his body," Ratchet shook his helm. "Anyways, now everyone is antsy, and you can no longer wander around this base undecided. I'm afraid you must choose, and soon; Autobot or Decepticon." He closed his optics, "I will support your decision no matter what."

"I-um," Magnia rubbed her helm. "I don't know...I need to go think."

Ratchet nodded and she stumbled out of the back door of the Medbay. She flew to the Cliffs of Iacon, about ten minutes away, and collapsed at the top. She was so shocked. Megatron was alive? The bot who had raised her, who had killed her mother on this very spot, was alive. She wasn't sure if she was relieved or upset.

Magnia sat there for a few hours until she heard pedsteps behind her, and she turned to find Bumblebee.

"How are you feeling?" she asked.

He stretched, "Better...thanks."

He came and sat next to her, "How...bout...you? Ratchet...told me...Megatron...back."

She bit her lip, "I don't know how I feel right now. Did he tell you that I have a decision to make?"

"Yeah…." Bumblebee sighed. "What do you...think...you'll...do?"

She buried her faceplates in her servos, muffling her voice, "You're going to hate me."

"Oh no..." Bee said quietly. "Thinking of...rejoining...Decepticons...again...aren't you?" She nodded and cringed, "Why...Magnia?"

"I'm sorry, Bumblebee," she sighed. "It's my home. I'm still loyal to the Decepticons, although maybe not Megatron, and it is my duty as a Decepticon to remain loyal to my cause."

"But...what about...Ratchet?" Bee argued. "What...about...me and...our future? Your...dream?"

"I'm not ready for what happened in my dream," she rubbed the sides of her helm. "Please don't hate me Bumblebee. But this will never be my home; even if you're here, even if Ratchet's here. You two will be the only bots that accept me; Optimus will hate me forever, and all the rest of the Autobots will always judge me."

"Jazz...won't...hate you," Bee pleaded.

"That's like three Autobots out of like thirty, Bumblebee."

"But...Megatron's...gonna kill...you," Bee cried. "You...disobeyed him."

"He's being possessed by Unicron and Unicron won't care if I disobeyed Megatron," Magnia shook her helm. "This is goodbye. For good."

"Wait," he said in her mind. He showed her through their bond how much he cared about her and loved her.

She smiled sadly, "That doesn't change anything, Bee."

His shoulders slumped, "It...doesn't?"

"No," she shook her helm, "I already knew how much you cared about me. I'm sorry. Please take care of yourself Bee."

She turned around, only to find Ratchet standing there with terribly sad optics.

"You're leaving?" he asked in an anguished voice.

Magnia burst into tears, transformed, and flew away from the only two mechs she had ever cared about as quickly as she could.
