The Autobots held their breaths collectively as Megatron stretched, rubbing his helm. Under his breath, Optimus muttered to Ratchet, "Will you please tend to Bumblebee while I deal with Megatron?"
Ratchet nodded and departed to the opposite side of the battlefield, where Bumblebee lay, with one servo over his bleeding chassis.
Optimus stepped toward the warlord cautiously, "Megatron?"
Megatron sighed, "Lower your weapons, Prime. Having experienced torment, I no longer wish to be an oppressor."
"But-my lord!" Starscream began to protest.
"Enough!" Megatron snapped. "The Decepticons are no more, and that is final!"
Starscream seethed silently as Optimus breathed a sigh of relief and relaxed until Ratchet called his name. Glancing at Megatron, Optimus hurried to Ratchet, who was tending to Bumblebee and began to speak with the doctor in low, urgent tones.
Magnia stared anxiously at the trio, longing to go to Bumblebee, but her peds remained frozen in place, reminding her of her duty.
Megatron caught the longing in her faceplates and sighed, "Go to him."
Magnia stared at him incredulously, "What?!"
"I release you of your duties as a Decepticon," he turned to take off, but she grabbed his arm.
"Why are you doing this?" she questioned. "I disobeyed you, and I nearly helped in your death."
Megatron regarded her, "And yet, you are still my daughter. You were never meant to be a Decepticon anyways." He paused, "And for the record….I am sorry I killed your mother."
Magnia exhaled, "I cannot forgive you yet, but...thank you...father."
She bowed to him, and he to her, before he took off into the sky to unknown whereabouts.
Once he was gone, Starscream nervously eyed the Autobots and their allies, the Predacons and hastily ordered the Decepticons to retreat and return to Darkmount. Magnia was left alone on the battlefield with the Autobots.
As she approached where Bumblebee lay, Optimus stepped into her path.
"You are not welcome," he folded his arms and glared at her, until a small purple femme pushed him aside.
"Stop it, Optimus," Arcee smiled at Magnia. "It's about time we let some more femmes on the team."
"Why would I even consider letting her onto my team?" the Prime argued.
"Because he needs her," Ratchet pushed Optimus aside and ushered Magnia to where Bumblebee lay, unconscious and shivering fiercely.
"His injuries have aggravated his spark: the disease has been sped up," Ratchet said quietly, and a hush fell over the Autobots. "He is going critical and will offline soon unless you do something, Magnia."
"You mean do something as in-" Magnia's optics widened. "I thought we had an entire month left!"
Ratchet, Arcee, and Bulkhead were lifting Bumblebee onto a stretcher and transporting him through a ground bridge and Magnia trailed after them worriedly.
"You must decide now," Ratchet struggled to lift Bumblebee onto a medical berth. "We will leave you two alone in case…." Almost everyone in the room blushed.
Ratchet and Arcee managed to push a protesting Optimus out of the Medbay leaving Magnia alone with the unconscious Bumblebee. His breath was shallow, and as Magnia felt for his pulse, she could barely find it. She went to pull her servo away, but Bee's servo unconsciously grabbed her own.
"Oh Bumblebee," she said helplessly. She tried to connect to their bond and was transported into his unconscious processor.
"Bumblebee?" she called into the darkness. A light shown ahead and she saw Bumblebee limping toward the Well of the Allspark. "No, Bee!" she tried to run to him but she ran smack into an invisible wall and bounced back. "Bumblebee!" she cried desperately. "Don't!"
"I can hear Primus, Magnia," Bee said distantly. "He's calling me…."
"Please, Bee, don't leave me!" she begged. "You can't go!"
He turned back to her and frowned, "Why not? Optimus is angry with me, and you obviously don't care about me."
"What do you mean?" she protested.
Glancing at her, Bumblebee replayed clips of her voice, "...My sparkmate can't be a fraggin' Autobot!...Lucky I haven't shot you in the spark yet….Stop talking Bumblebee! Shut up!...Stubborn mech….Megatron's the one you killed….I'm not your girlfriend!...We're not together and we never will be…."
He folded his arms, "Admit it, Magnia; you never cared about me. There is no reason for me to stay."
"Bumblebee," she said softly, pressing a servo against the wall that separated them. "Of I course I care about you. How could you even think that, Bee? It's been driving me crazy every time I'm with you I want to to tell you how much you mean to me, or kiss you, but I couldn't, which is why I kept pushing you away. I've been trying to deny it, to you and to myself, but I can't anymore."
She sighed, "It's hard, what we have. But it's also worth fighting for. Please, come with me and fight for us, Bumblebee?"
Bumblebee looked at her uncertainly and then back at the Well, but the wall was still there.
"Do you remember what you said to me, when we were in the desert?" Magnia asked quietly.
Bee looked at her, confused, "I said...I would carry you to the end of the world."
"It's not the end of the world yet, Bee."
The wall disappeared beneath her palm and Bumblebee swept her into his arms into a passionate kiss, his lips locking deliciously with her own. "Magnia," he murmured into her mouth.
"Bee," she sighed happily and then shook herself, remembering that this wasn't really happening; they were in his helm.
"Bee, I have to go, I have to save you," Magnia tried to pull away, but Bee caught her wrist.
"Save me from what?"
"You're dying-the Sparkmate's Disease," she cried. "Bee, I have to go now."
"And to save me you have to-" his optics widened and he blushed. "OH. Go then, go!"
He shooed her out of his mind and she opened her optics to find herself back in the Medbay. Bumblebee was still unconscious but his vitals were falling drastically.
As she gazed at him worriedly, his chassis opened displaying his spark, glowing a brilliant blue. Wondrously, Magnia slipped her servos in his chassis, caressing his spark, making him shiver with unconscious pleasure.
Magnia opened her own chassis and her spark nearly leapt out, trying to bond with his. His spark leapt at the same time and they met in the middle, locking together.
Magnia practically fell on top of Bee from the overload of pleasure she was experiencing, gasping for air. It was unlike anything she had ever felt before; powerful, sensual and maddening.
Their sparks crashed together in unison and Magnia began to groan as she reached her climax. "Bumblebee!" she moaned as the pleasure intensified, and finally with a shuddering halt, their sparks became one.
Gasping for air, Magnia flopped next to Bumblebee on the berth, exhausted, and watched his vitals begin to stabilize. Yawning, she closed her chassis and then forced his shut as well, before curling up next to him.
Magnia sleepily rested her helm on Bumblebee's chassis, her bonded. "My Bumble," she murmured possessively before falling into recharge.
Meanwhile at Darkmount, Starscream was preparing to take his place as leader of the Decepticons.
"My fellow Decepticons!" he called to the teeming masses. "This is not quite how I envisioned my rise to the throne. However, since Lord Megatron all but surrendered it to me, I will gladly revive the Decepticons in my name."
Gleefully, he raised his servos and yelled, "All hail Lord Starscream!"
And the Decepticons grumbled obligingly, "All hail Lord Starscream."
