Magnia met Bumblebee in the Medbay the next day, carrying Ravenblade. Bumblebee was stocking up on emergency medical supplies and energon for their journey, which would take about six hours total. The Medbay seemed haunted without its grumpy inhabitant, which made Magnia miss him even more.

"Hey," Magnia greeted, kissing Bumblebee.

"Hello...gorgeous," he grinned back.

"Would you two give it a rest please?" a new voice complained and Magnia peered around Bumblebee to find Optimus.

"You invited him as your other bot?" Magnia complained.

"He's...the only one...who has….defeated...Megatron...except me," Bee argued and Optimus' optics widened.

"We're going to see Megatron?!"

Bumblebee rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly as Magnia explained, "I want Ravenblade to meet her other….other grandfather."

"Magnia," Optimus growled warningly. "I just allowed you onto my team mere days ago; do not make me change my processor so soon."

Magnia folded her arms and Optimus sighed, seeing she wasn't going to change her processor. "You are as stubborn as your mate," he grumbled. "What exactly do you need me for?"

"In case...Megatron...not so...welcoming," Bee buzzed. "Protect...Ravenblade."

Optimus pinched the bridge of his nose, "Fine, I will accompany you. But only because you two would go anyways, regardless of whether I come or not, and Ravenblade would end up hurt."

"Glad to have your company," Magnia arched an optic ridge. "Can we go now?"

Optimus nodded and Magnia continued, "Okay, so Optimus and Bumblebee, you two will be driving with Ravenblade in Bumblebee's backseat, and I will fly above, scouting ahead. We should be there in a few hours."

The three nodded and took off towards the Pits of Kaon without another word.

The carnivorous chasm yawned in front of them, and Ravenblade whimpered a little, immediately comforted by Magnia. The foursome hesitantly descended into the Pits of Kaon, into the gloomy darkness.

Once they hit the rocky bottom, Optimus called out timidly, "Megatron?"

When there was no response, Bumblebee and Optimus gained a little courage and began yelling the warlord's name.

Magnia remained silent, optics sweeping the darkness for her adoptive father. She began to drift away from the others, knowing Megatron wouldn't approach Optimus and Bumblebee.

Magnia moved silently through the rubble, feeling the wall to find her way, with Ravenblade strapped to her back. She trailed her digits across the wall until she hit an unexpected bump and looked up, surprised to see two crimson orbs staring back at her.

"My l-father," Magnia hastily corrected herself. She could no longer call the former ruler of the Decepticons "my lord" for two reasons.

"Magnia," Megatron sounded surprised and cautious. "What are you doing here?"

"We came to visit," Magnia gestured, exasperated, to the two Autobot mechs, still stumbling blindly in the dark.

"Why did you bring them?"

"They insisted," Magnia sighed.

"I see you have a new insignia," Megatron said quietly.

"Um, yeah," Magnia rubbed the tattoo uncomfortably. "Anyways, the reason I'm here is so you can meet someone. You are important to them, so I thought they deserved to meet you."

"Who?"

Magnia reached behind herself and produced Ravenblade proudly, who looked up at the warlord uncertainly.

Magnia wasn't sure if she saw this right because of how dark it was, but she could have sworn she saw a small smile creep onto Megatron's faceplates, "I am...her grandfather?"

Magnia nodded, "Before I let you hold her...you have to swear not to harm her."

"Why on Cybertron would I harm her?"

"You have harmed and tried to harm many bots that were important to me, including myself," Magnia rubbed her helm. "I'm just being careful."

"Fair enough," Megatron sighed. "I solemnly swear never to hurt the sparkling."

Magnia nodded seriously and carefully transferred Ravenblade to Megatron's arms. He cradled her, silent for a moment. Finally, he spoke, "What is her name?"

"Ravenblade."

Megatron gazed at his grandsparkling and said quietly, "She looks like you when you were young."

Magnia beamed, "Thank you."

He handed her daughter back and looked at her, "Did I tell you that pesky medic of yours was down here?"

"You did not."

"We had a bit of an argument," he rubbed his neck.

"About what?" Magnia sighed.

"You actually," Megatron looked at her. "Over who you felt was really your father."

Magnia nodded unhappily, "Ratchet came back and asked me the same thing."

"And what did you say?"

"I consider both of you to be my father," Magnia looked him in the optics. "So, you two are just going to have to deal with it-"

"Fine," Megatron said, surprisingly.

"Really? That's it? No argument or loud yelling?"

Megatron raised an optic ridge, "No. I presume this is what the medic did?"

"He has...a bit of a temper, I suppose," Magnia sighed. "Probably because he doesn't like to share."

"Well, I do not either," Megatron scowled. "Especially with him. But if it is necessary, then I shall."

"After a bit of yelling, Ratchet decided he could too, so that's good," Magnia nodded. "So I suppose I will come and visit you as often as I can."

"Alright," Megatron consented. "But next time, please do not bring those two bumbling Autobots."

Magnia smiled a little, "Deal."

She bowed to him in farewell and then headed to where Bumblebee and Optimus had finally located a part of the wall.

"Guys," she called. "We can go now."

"What?" Optimus bumped into her. "Did you find him? And how come you're not tripping over things like us?"

"I did find him. And Decepticons have enhanced nocturnal vision."

"Is...Ravey...okay?" Bee asked worriedly. "What...happened?"

"Ravenblade is fine, and so am I, thank you for asking," Magnia rolled her optics. "We talked."

"And?" Optimus prodded.

Magnia looked at him blankly, "That's it. We talked."

"He wasn't violent? Didn't try to offline anyone?"

"No, Primus," Magnia sighed. "Can we go now?"

Bumblebee held up a digit, signalling that he was getting a comm, :Hello?:

:Bumblebee, it's Ratchet. You need to get to Earth right away:

:Why?:

:I think I may have fixed the Cybermatter formula:
